    Opis:
    The aim of the article is to present the application role of psychology of wisdom in educational and vocational guidance understood as the process of preparing students for conscious life decision-making. The author, starting from the analysis of the balance theory of wisdom (of R. Sternberg) and the function of value in providing well-being, outlines a common level of wisdom teaching and advisory activities, i.e. work in the area of the crystallization of values preferences. Then he reviews selected strategies of practical implementation of education towards wisdom to orientation and career guidance, indicating their strengths and risks associated with them.
    Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie aplikacyjnej roli psychologii mądrości w doradztwie edukacyjno-zawodowym rozumianym jako proces przygotowywania uczniów do świadomego podejmowania decyzji życiowych. Autor, wychodząc od analizy koncepcji mądrości jako równowagi R. Sternberga i funkcji wartości w zapewnianiu dobrostanu podmiotowi, nakreśla wspólną płaszczyznę nauczania mądrościowego i działań doradczych, tj. pracę w obszarze krystalizacji preferencji wartości. Następnie dokonuje przeglądu wybranych strategii praktycznego wdrażania edukacji ku mądrości do orientacji i doradztwa zawodowego, wskazując na ich mocne strony oraz związane z nimi ryzyka.

    The author would like to draw the reader’s attention to the need to introduce Teaching for Wisdom into Polish education under the current core curriculum.     The goals of the teacher’s work with students are described in the educational documents and priorities specified by the relevant authorities. These guidelines present the current understanding of social development, as well as the government’s education policy. Thus, they should also constitute the basis for teachers’ actions. Therefore, it is necessary to interpret the current core curriculum of general education in the context of the principles of support for the development of Polish students’ wisdom. A proposal for one such interpretation of the current core curriculum used in pre-school education is presented in this article.

    Opis:
    Teaching for wisdom (especially at the early educational stages) requires personal competence by the teacher, interesting teaching aids and modern, motivational techniques that stimulate and develop the child’s potential abilities and competences related to general and practical intelligence and creativity. In early education, of particular importance is the type of children’s/students’ activity that leads to the direct experiencing of the surrounding cultural, natural, technical and social reality. Such activity is undertaken by individuals through internal emotional involvement, which leads to the experience of values in an in-depth way, supporting development and gaining all kinds of practical experience, which in turn fosters maturity towards wisdom. The environment where Teaching for wisdom should be deliberately organized is school (preschool). Factual knowledge and the methodological competences of teachers can support the organization of educational situations that allow children/students to experience values and wisdom, develop their potential cognitive abilities, gain experience in the interpretation and evaluation of wise/unwise behaviour, and develop the habits of wise behaviour. These situations should be a source of getting students ready to use wisdom in life and to shape their value systems. The proposal of a detailed competence scope for the notion of wisdom is presented in the this article.

    Opis:
    W artykule prezentowane są rozważania aksjologiczne dotyczące zakresu zmian w zarządzaniu nauką i edukacją ukierunkowanych na zapewnienie kondycji Narodu dla pełnienia władzy zwierzchniej. Zagadnienie to rozpatrywane jest głównie w odniesieniu do Polski, jednak dyskusja ma charakter uniwersalny odwołujący się do wartości podstawowych. Celem artykułu jest odpowiedź na pytanie: Czy naukę i edukację można ograniczyć do jednej sfery cywilizacji? W szczególności: Czy można ją ograniczyć do sfery techné? Autor stawia hipotezę, że nauka i edukacja występują w obu sferach cywilizacji – zarówno w sferze sofia (gr. mądrość), jak i w sferze techné (gr. umiejętność) i powinny je integrować. W artykule wykorzystywane są metody dedukcji, analizy opisowo-krytycznej oraz koherencji. W pierwszej części opracowania omówione zostały teoretyczne podstawy zarządzania nauką i edukacją oraz ich ewolucja. W kolejnej zaś przedstawiono wybrane przykłady polskiej praktyki zarządzania nauką i edukacją w aspekcie obowiązującego ładu strukturalnego. Autor dowodzi, że deregulacja w zarządzaniu nauką i edukacją (ograniczenie ich do jednej sfery) powodowane jest łamaniem kodu cywilizacji (a jest nim zasada sprzeczności). W języku logiki to: TAK = NIE = BYĆ MOŻE. Jest to baza dla generowania rozwiązań instytucjonalnych wykluczających zintegrowane zarządzanie. Argumentuje, że przywrócenie atrybutu integralności w zarządzaniu nauką i edukacją wymaga: kształcenia w zakresie podstaw ładu strukturalnego w sferze sofia, co stanowi warunek konieczny, oraz woli decyzyjnej ograniczającej przyzwolenie na deregulację, jako warunku dostatecznego.
    The article presents axiological deliberations on the scope of the changes in science and education management which are oriented towards ensuring the condition of the Nation to exercise sovereignty. The issue is examined mainly in the context of Poland, but the discussion is universal and rooted in fundamental values. The objective of the article is to answer the following question: Can science and education be limited to only one sphere of civilisation? And more precisely: Can it be limited to techné? The author hypothesises that science and education are present in – and should integrate – both spheres of civilisation: sophia (Greek for ‘wisdom’) as well as techné (Greek for ‘craft’). The article uses deduction, descriptive and critical analysis and the coherence method. The first part of the paper discusses the theoretical foundations of science and education management and the evolution of science and education. The subsequent part presents selected examples from Polish science and education management practice in the aspect of the current structural order. The author argues that the deregulation in science and education management (the limitation of science and education to one sphere only) is caused by the civilisation code (i.e. the law of contradiction) being broken. In the language of logic, it is: YES = NO = MAYBE. This is the basis for generations of institutional solutions that exclude integrated management. He claims that restoring the attribute of integrity in science and education management requires: the teaching about the basics of the structural order in the sophia sphere as the necessary condition, and the decision-making will to limit the permission to deregulation – as the sufficient condition.
