The article presents a typology of activities in adventure education in Poland based on two books written as a result of the conference “Adventure education in nature” (2013, 2014). Based on the criteria created by comparing adventure education activities to outdoor training, three different types of these activities are differentiated and their methodology is discussed: long-term life changing activities based on the precise model of a person (3 types of scouting – Baden Powell’s, Selton and Polish scouts (harcerstwo); Hahn’s and Rydzyna schools approaches; survival), short– term educational activities, and recreation in goal adventure in nature activities. The differences concerning the role of the instructor, the types of methods used and the possible scopes of evaluation are discussed for each type of activity. A comparison of the groups of activities and outdoor training discussed is presented in the form of a table.

Artykuł „Usługi w zakresie dostosowywania gospodarstw rolnych do wymogów instrumentu wzajemnej zgodności” podnosi istotne z punktu widzenia autora kwestie związane z wypełnianiem zobowiązań Polski wobec rolników w przedmiocie świadczenia poprzez uprawnione organizacje usług pozwalających rolnikom dostosowywać swe gospodarstwa do wymogów instrumentu wzajemnej zgodności. Autor uważa, że usługi uprawnionych podmiotów w zakresie dostosowywania gospodarstw rolnych do wymogów instrumentu wzajemnej zgodności muszą wyzwalać niewłaściwie wykorzystywany potencjał rozwojowy tkwiący w osobowościach rolników i rozwijać go. Jeśli natomiast - z uwagi na przyjęte złe założenia i/lub ich złą wykładnię, jakiej można doszukać się w niektórych aktach prawnych z omawianego obszaru - przedmiotowe usługi nie tylko, że nie przyśpieszą pożądanego procesu przekształcania rolników w przedsiębiorców rolnych ale wśród niektórych z nich będą kreować postawy roszczeniowe, to należy te akty niezwłocznie poprawić.
The article raises essential from the author point of view connected matters with the pursuance of liabilities of Poland to farmers in the object of the prestation across entitled organizations of services permissive to farmers to adapt its own farms to requirements of cross-compliance. The author attends that services of entitled subjects within the range adapting of holdings to requirements of the cross-compliance must liberate the wrongly using development potential staying in individualities of farmers and develop him. If instead - in consideration of accepted bad foundations and/or their bad interpretation, which one can succeed in finding in some legal acts from the talked over area - objective services not only that they will not accelerate the desirable process of the transformation of farmers into farming businessmen but among some from them will create claim attitudes, then one ought these acts immediately to improve.

The article describes the administrative structure of the units of the free legal aid system in Ukraine, which perform the function of legal education. The tasks, responsibilities and powers of legal education units at each of the institutional levels of the free legal aid system are considered and analyzed in detail, as well as the territorial division of jurisdiction of such units. The author analyzed the relationship, the degree of subordination and general coordination of actions between units of different levels of the structure. The publication also identifies and substantiates an important normatively enshrined and actually implemented priority given to legal education activities in the system of free legal aid in Ukraine. The publication describes the experience of legal education activities by other structural units of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, as well as statistics on the awareness of residents of the country about the right to receive free legal aid as part of the formation of legal awareness. The concept of legal education campaigns conducted by the system of free legal aid with the separation of their basic features and methods of implementation is considered in detail.
У статті описано адміністративну структуру підрозділів системи безоплатної правової допомоги в Україні, що здійснюють функцію правопросвітництва. Детально розглянуто та проаналізовано завдання, обов’язки та повноваження правопросвітницьких підрозділів на кожному з інституційних рівнів системи безоплатної правової допомоги, а також наведено територіальний розподіл юрисдикції таких підрозділів. Автор проаналізував зв›язок , ступінь підпорядкування та загальної координації дій між підрозділами різних рівнів структури. У публікації також визначено та обґрунтовано важливий нормативно закріплений та фактично реалізований пріоритет, що надається правопросвітницькій діяльності у системі безоплатної правової допомоги України. У публікації описано досвід реалізації правопросвітницької діяльності іншими структурними підрозділами Міністерства юстиції України, а також наведено статистичні дані щодо обізнаності жителів країни про право на отримання безоплатної правової допомоги як частини формування правової свідомості населення. Детально розглянуто поняття правопросвітницьких кампаній, що проводяться системою безоплатної правової допомоги з виокремленням їх базових ознак та способів реалізації.

Cultural centre as an institution promoting culture among adultsCultural institutions are established to fulfil three major functions: creating, promoting and protecting culture. Of those three the main function of cultural centres is promotion. Unfortunately, the latest studies show that those centres do not pay enough attention to older people who have a lot of free time and are financially stable. It is important for cultural centres’ workers, who create curricula for their facilities, to take into consideration the recipients, their needs, interests, how much time and money they can spend in the cultural centre. Information about offered classes should get to those recipients in the right way and on time. The elements change depending on the recipients’ age. Adults are more aware of their interests than teenagers or children, therefore it is essential for the cultural centres to consider their needs in the curriculum. Unfortunately, adults and especially older people are very rarely active in social and cultural life. They prefer to spend their free time in passive or even monotonous way. It is probably due to a lack of a proper “preparation” to the old age. The preparation should begin from the youngest age and should include five fields of activity: biological, psychological, intellectual, social and economic. In order to ensure the right way of preparation, both cultural institutions and their recipients should increase the amount of free time older people spend in cultural centres. It is extremely important especially for older people whose ways of spending spare time may protect them from loneliness and alienation.

The paper will present a novel marketing concept of relationship management in higher education and a justification of its application based on the specific character of educational services. The definitions of relationship and relationship management in higher education will be given. The paper will highlight key relationships that should be built by an educational institution with special emphasis placed on students as the most important clients of a school. The paper will proceed to elaborate on the concept of loyalty as the aim of building sustainable relationships with students and its specificity due to the special nature of an educational environment. A student relationship management model will be proposed and discussed as comprising three basic stages of the educational services provision: pre-sales. sales and after-sales stages. The presented model may serve as a basis for further theoretical research or may be applied in practice as it is.

The article is devoted to the problem of pupils’ perception of difficulties in participating in classes and extracurricular activities. The research was carried out in Poland as part of the international HBSC (Health Behavior in School-aged Children) study in the school year 2013/2014. Data refer to 3,448 schoolkids who completed an extended questionnaire about functioning in a school environment. The research covered five school years – from the fifth grade of primary school to the third grade of lower secondary school. The average age of the respondents was 14.2 years (SD = 1.7). The aim of this work was to compare the pupils’ perception of difficulties in access to school and extracurricular activities depending on the health conditions and selected socio-demographic factors. The obtained results indicate that only one in five pupils declared complete lack of difficulty. The results of the average values of the scale of “restrictions on participation in extracurricular activities and after-school programmes” showed a significant relationship with the sex and wealth of the family, to the detriment of boys and poor families. Pupils with diseases and health problems more often declared that they had difficult access to school and extracurricular activities. Analyses taking into account the state of health of the respondents and the socio-economic status of the family and place of residence indicated that these differences are not offset by children from rich families living in medium-sized cities. An important task of the school in order to equalise educational opportunities is to diagnose the needs related to the students’ health conditions but also taking into account environmental conditions.

Program zajęć wychowawczo-profilaktycznych Spójrz inaczej na agresję jest propozycją tworzenia uczniom w szóstym, siódmym i ósmym roku nauki w szkole podstawowej warunków do rozwoju kompetencji społeczno-emocjonalnych sprzyjających radzeniu sobie w trudnych sytuacjach społecznych. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja rezultatów analizy tego programu przeprowadzonej metodą analizy treści. W badaniu uwzględniono dwa główne źródła zmian. Pierwsze to przedstawione w podręczniku założenia programu, w tym rozumienie podstawowych dla programu kategorii, takich jak złość, agresja i przemoc, proponowane metody pracy oraz sposoby przezwyciężania trudności, które mogą się pojawić w trakcie realizacji zajęć. Drugie źródło zmian to działania proponowane wychowawcy klasy w scenariuszach zajęć. Przeanalizowano kolejno każdy z nich, zwracając uwagę na założone cele i działania mające prowadzić do ich osiągnięcia. Efektem tej analizy jest ustalenie, że na skutek uczestniczenia w zajęciach można oczekiwać korzystnych zmian w zakresie: postaw wobec złości, agresji i przemocy, empatii, umiejętności radzenia sobie w trudnych sytuacjach oraz klimatu klasy.
The prevention education programme Look differently at aggression is a proposal for students in the sixth, seventh and eighth years of primary school to create conditions for the development of socio-emotional attitudes and skills, facilitating constructive response to difficult social situations. The aim of the article is to present the results of the programme analysis carried out by the content analysis method. The analysis covers two main sources of change. The first is the programme assumptions presented in the manual, including understanding the basic cathegories, such as anger, aggression and violence, proposed working methods and ways of overcoming difficulties that may arise during the course of the classes. The second source consists of activities proposed by the authors of the programme to the class teacher in the lesson plans. For this purpose, each of them was analysed in turn, paying attention to the assumed goals and actions leading to their achievement. The result of the analysis is the conclusion that as a result of participation in classes, favorable changes can be expected. These include: attitudes towards anger, aggression and violence, empathy, coping skills, dealing with stress and expressing anger, and the classroom climate.

Szkolnictwo karaimskie w drugiej połowie XIX i na początku XX w. podlegało zmianom dostosowującym je do aktualnego prawodawstwa Imperium Rosyjskiego, nastawionego w dłuższej perspektywie na zrusyfikowanie i wynarodowienie Polaków i narodów zamieszkujących na terenach dawnej Rzeczpospolitej. Szczególnie po Powstaniu Styczniowym prawodawstwo rosyjskie wprowadzało unifikację systemów oświatowych i ujednolicenie programów nauczania. Przeniesienie akcentów w systemie edukacyjnym na program świecki kosztem przedmiotów tradycyjnie nauczanych w szkołach karaimskich spowodowało, że znajomość języka hebrajskiego i języka ojczystego oraz zasad własnej religii w młodym pokoleniu znacznie się osłabiła. W 1913 r. w Trokach podjęto inicjatywę edukacyjną, której celem było stworzenie drugiego stopnia edukacji religijnej, co w dalszej perspektywie miało podnieść wiedzę młodzieży w zakresie zasad wiary i języka hebrajskiego młodzieży oraz zapewnić wykształconą kadrę nauczycielską dla szkół karaimskich. Powołane do życia towarzystwo edukacyjne Limmud Tora miało opracować program kształcenia, uzyskać środki pozwalające na zatrudnienie nauczyciela oraz odpowiadać za sprawy organizacyjne, a także weryfikować efekty edukacyjne. Inicjatywa ta nie wyszła, niestety, poza etap planowania – na przeszkodzie stanął wybuch I wojny światowej.
Karaim education in the second half of the nineteenth century and the early part of the twentieth underwent a number of changes that brought it in line with legislative measures implemented throughout the Russian Empire aimed at promoting long-term Russification and denationalization of Poles and other nationalities living in areas of the former Commonwealth. Russian legislation was designed to unify education systems and standardize teaching programs, especially after the January Uprising. The emphasis placed on secular topics in the educational system significantly weakened Karaites’ knowledge of Hebrew and their mother tongue as well as the principles of Karaim religion among the younger generation. In 1913 an educational initiative was undertaken in Trakai aimed at creating a second level of religious education, which in the long term would increase young people’s knowledge of the principles of faith and Hebrew language and ensure an educated teaching staff for Karaite schools. The goal of establishing the Limmud Torah Educational Society was to develop a programme of education, obtain the means to employ teaching staff and be responsible for organizational matters and educational outcomes. This initiative did not ,unfortunately, progress beyond the planning stage – the outbreak of World War I stood in the way.

The text “Counseling and Social Support as Improving the Employability of Graduates of Vocational Schools” focuses on showing the causes of the low employability of graduates of vocational schools and the ways to help and support instruments for the graduates’ successful entry into the labor market. This article interprets concepts of absolute and relative employability as well as learned helplessness on the labor market, which points to the need for differentiation. The text looks at the fate of professional graduate studies as a source of information about the demand for support activities – career counseling and social support. The text moreover indicates problems corresponding not only to events occurring at one point in a person’s life, but also the processes influencing the growth of the portion of the human capital related to education. Support measures are considered in relation to decisions affecting the educational path and professional graduate (prevention) and therefore the school-induced competence of entering the labor market (prevention of the negative consequences of differences between learning outcomes and employers’ expectations).

Since the 1990s, when religious education began to be offered once again in Polish public schools, a disturbing phenomenon has been observed: more and more students are choosing not to participate in religious education classes. This problem is more prominent in Poland’s largest cities. The purpose of the present article is to point out new ways to use modern extracurricular activities to engage and attract young students who have abandoned religious education. Such extracurricular activities must be voluntary, different from typical school activities, and appeal to students’ current interests. Research demonstrates that the most frequent reason why students opt not to participate in religious education classes is not because they oppose what the courses teach, but because they are too lazy to participate in them. Creatively organized extracurricular activities can be a great catechetical opportunity to counteract Polish students’ tendency to cease participating in religious education at school.

LP2I - Lycée Pilote Innovant International (transl. the Innovative Pilot International High School) is a French secondary school in Jaunay-Clan, a small town near Poitiers in France. This high school, just like any other school in France, employs universal methods in three thematic areas: the humanities, science and economic &social sciences. It is additionally oriented towards new technologies. LP2I stresses the importance of students’ autonomy and aims at developing students’ interests in various fields. How are these goals achieved? ACF – Activités Complémentaires de Formation (transl. supplementary classes, trainers) are designed to develop creativity and responsibility through the creation of an interdisciplinary project related to the interests of the student. In turn, under the BAS (Besoins, Approfondissement, Soutien) students can attend afternoon classes, compensatory activities or classes which allow them to deepen their knowledge of the given subject. In this paper, I discuss how these projects are launched, as well how they benefit the students.

Aim. The aim of the study is to find out students’ perspectives on the necessity, readiness and disturbing factors of implementing musical activities in preschool. The theoretical part of the paper describes the particularity of preschool teachers’ work, the children’s interest in musical activities, and the benefits of implementing musical activities in preschool.  Method. The empirical study involved 168 students (N=168), of which 132 students (N=132) are already working as preschool teachers in parallel with their study at the university. The study identified three questions: why do preschool teachers use musical activities? What factors prevent a preschool teacher from using musical activities? Is there a relationship between the competence of a preschool teacher in the field of music and the implementation musical activities in preschool? In order to answer the study questions, a questionnaire consisting of twelve statements was created, which had to be assessed on a four-point Likert scale. Results and conclusion. As a result of the analyses of the data obtained in the study, it was ascertained that preschool teachers use musical activities to make children happy and improve their abilities. The use of musical activities is connected with preschool teacher’s willingness to do that. One of the key factors that hinder the implementation of musical activities is an insufficient material base in the preschool. The study also found that there is a correlation between the competence of a preschool teacher in the field of music and the implementation of musical activities.

Opis:
The purpose of this paper is to indicate an ambiguous understanding of the notion of innovation in education and misunderstandings connected with it. It also involves a critical analysis of the main sources of difficulty in choosing and executing pedagogical innovations, as well as encourages reflection on and mobilisation for self-preparedness to make changes in the profession. This paper will discuss arguments confirming the necessity of innovative actions in education. Examples of actual innovative actions and ostensible actions/pseudo-innovations will be given, characteristics of innovators and “Pharisees of innovation” will be presented. This paper will also demonstrate the possibilities of organising pedagogical innovations efficiently, and the possible support for innovative teachers, leading to the increase in the efficiency of their actions.
