Opis:
This article analyses trends in the development of the commercial insurance market in Poland and in Lithuania over the last decade. The insurance market changed in the 2002-2011 period. Those changes can be seen in various fields of commercial insurance. Data on the number of insurers, total premiums written, and the trends in claim payments and claim ratios were used to perform a market trend analysis. It should be emphasized that Poland experienced the results of the financial crisis in the insurance market later than Lithuania, which is visible in specific ratios under analysis. In Lithuania, in terms of insurance expenditures, non-life insurance products are definitely more popular, while in Poland life insurance plays the most important role. Poles buy most life insurance from group 1, and Lithuanians from group 3. In the case of non-life insurance, motor vehicle insurance (third-party liability insurance and casco (collision/personal liability insurance)) and property insurance are the leading forms of insurance purchased by both Poles and Lithuanians, as well as other Europeans
Celem artykułu jest określenie kierunków rozwoju ubezpieczeń gospodarczych w Polsce i na Litwie w ostatnim dziesięcioleciu. Rynek ubezpieczeniowy w latach 2002- 2011 zmienił się. Zmiany te są widoczne w różnych obszarach ubezpieczeń gospodarczych. W nakreśleniu kierunków rozwoju rynku pomocne były informacje na temat liczby ubezpieczycieli przypisu składki i jej dynamiki. wypłaty świadczeń. odszkodowań i ich dynamiki oraz wskaźnika szkodowości. Podkreślenia wymaga fakt. iż Polska później niż Litwa odczuła skutki kryzysu finansowego na rynku ubezpieczeniowym. co jest widoczne w poszczególnych analizowanych wskaźnikach. Na Litwie pod względem wydatków na ubezpieczenia zdecydowanie większym zainteresowaniem cieszą się produkty ubezpieczeń majątkowych. w Polsce natomiast ubezpieczenia na życie. W ramach ubezpieczeń działu I Polacy kupują najwięcej ubezpieczeń z grupy 1. Litwini z grupy 3. Jeżeli chodzi o dział II. zarówno wśród osób mieszkających w Polsce. jak i na Litwie. a także w całej Europie największym powodzeniem cieszą się ubezpieczenia komunikacyjne (OC i AC) oraz ubezpieczenia nieruchomości.

Opis:
As the tasks carried by this Division may be listed the following: a programmed gathering of documentations pertaining to monuments of architecture, building art and townplanning‘with a particular stress laid on the protection and conservation problems, their systematizing and making accessible to those interested. All the work is aimed at setting as complete as possible lists of monuments throughout the country at the same time applying the appraisal methods and preparing the detailed elaboration of selected problems. The range of materials gathered required the splitting of Division into three sections, namely that of Architecture and Building Art, Townplanning and the Photograpic Archive. In the Architecture and Building Art Section a card- index is available of architectural and building monuments existing on the whole territory of the country, comprising some 40,000 cards filed with the basic data for each object, its photographs and plan. This card- index was founded in the late 50’s under supervision of the Board of Museums and Historical Monuments Preservation and then in l©67-69 some improvements and supplementations have been introduced. At present the eard-index is being revised to contain the up-to-date data. The need to cover the most valuable monumental objects with the conservator’s protection had led in 1©6Д to verification of monuments which bas been carried out by the Board of Museums and Historical Monuments Preservation. As the result of that vérificative action in 1904 the „List of Architectural and Building Art Monuments in Poland” has been prepared by the Historical Monuments Documentation Centre forming a register, in principle, comprising all the monuments with their detailed locations classified into five evaluating groups. The above list in the course of recent years has been subjected to some corrections and extended due to the required alterations actualizing the list of objects and also some evaluating groups. Works have already been undertaken to prepare new edition titled „The Architectural and Building Art Monuments in Poland” in a changed arrangement and publishing forms (the separate volumes covering voivodships’ areas). Also the detailed data pertaining to individual objects have been extended. Up to now volumes covering the Białystok and Koszalin voivodships have left the printing press while the remaining are still in print or under preparation. The Section’s .collection comprises also the copies of some 10,000 conservators’ decisions qualifying the objects as historical monuments and covering monuments of ancient townplanning, those of architecture and building, parks, gardens and archaeological sites as well as an archive of inventory surveys totalling at present to some 200 items. In addition to the current works it is planned to execute an abbreviated list of parks and gardens, to undertake the preparation of detailed works devoted to monuments grouped chronologically or according to subjects and in the further future also to prepare the list of ancient timber buildings. The Townplanning Section has gathered a collection of 400 „Historical and Townplanning Studies” forming detailed documentation for conservators and covering the town quarters. The above .studies were executed by the State Ateliers for Historical Monument Conservation within the period of 1953.—'1970. This collection has been extended by TO new studies made to orders given by the Centre and it is planned to supplement it in the future. (In 1982-63 an abbreviated roll has been prepared of ancient towns resulting in 1;2|64 pieces of abbreviated documentations covering the same number of localities. In 1966—.1(970 a wide action was carried out with the aim to gather a collection of the bird’s eye views of several towns enabling to illustrate the present state of preservation of ancient townplanning systems. Thus, the Section achieved some 5,000 bird’s eye view photographs with respective negatives for some 700 localities exhibiting the greatest values of their architectural sites. In 1968 works were started at preparation of a .series titled „The Ancient Townplanning Systems in Poland”. The objective of that publication consists in giving an outline as to importance of tasks at the same time furnishing general foundations for the conservation policies with regard to protection of ancient townplannig systems. As the result of a draft classification of ancient townplannig systems it is planned to comprise some 500 towns with this publication. Photographic Archive. The tasks of this collection consist in gathering, preparing and making accessible the photographic documentation for monuments coming from all fields cf art in Poland, thus this section may be considered as one auxiliary for all the Centre’s Divisions; at present the stock gathered within this collection amounts to some 79,000 photographs and about 39,000 negatives. The collection was originally one with its stock growing in a fairly accidental manner, then considerable quantities of photographs were being purchased illustrating as great as possible numbers of monuments and particularly of those lesser known. • At present a principle has been adopted to plan the monographic documentations for individual objects or monumental groupings, taking into view the architecture, architectural detail, fittings and s.o., by purchasing the photographs only with accompanying 6 X 6 cm negatives. As a particularly valuable part ox the photographs collection should be mentioned here the unique .sets of photographs having the value of historic source material.

This Division is responsible for preparing of documentation and dealing with theoretical problems of conservation of monuments that are preserved outside the museums. Ais the movable monuments or works of art are considered all objects of plastic art except for those of architecture or townplanming. Documentation problems. As the basis of all works carried on by the Division serves the inventory of movable monument's covering more than 2/3 of the total number of objects within the country’s territory. The inventory consists of special index cards prepared for each movable monument bearing a photograph, measurements, a detailed description, and s.o., and, in addition a classification or evaluation of a given piece within one from among four groups . The Division has at its disposal a Central File containing over 100,000 cards. This File by itself constitutes an unusually rich documentary material that is steadily improved and made up to date through verifications carried out in field. None the less, this File is to be considered as only the first stage preceding more detailed documentation of selected groups of monuments of whom three are already under preparation, namely (a) Polish wall paintings, being a subject in stage of working discussions, (b) Polish ancient organs and organ prospects; on the basis of index cards for movable monuments and also of special questionnâmes dealing mainly with the organ mechanisms an isolated file has been established of ancient organs and organ prospects in Poland which after its supplementing with the available bibliographical, illustrative and archival sources will be published by the Centre. This publication will be preceded with a comprehensive work by Dr. Jan Chwałek titled „Organ building, an Introduction to Inventory of Ancient Organs in Poland”. Parallely with works of documentary character the Division deals with organization of conservation work in that field of activities being entirely new one in Poland. Already at present in collaboration with the State Ateliers of Historical Monument Conservation the first Atelier for Conservation of Ancient Organs has been called into being in Cracow. (C) ancient goldsmith’s art in Poland; as a result of works devoted to this subject a bibliographical card index of goldsmiths and that of goldsmith’s marks is being established and the „Terminological Dictionnary of Goldsmith’s Art” prepared (its author being M. Gradowski). The chief among the planned works will, however, consist in publication of a detailed inventory of pieces of ancient goldsmith’s art. There is also under preparation a comprehensive book by M. Gradowski and J. Rochacki „Techniques and Technologies used in the Ancient Goldsmith’s Art”. Conservation problems. It must be pointed out that neither the Centre nor its Movable Monument Division do not carry out the conservation work. It is this Division, however, that is responsible for preparing of a central, country-wide plan for conservation of movable monuments and at the same time for supervision of its execution through the participation of its representatives in Conservators’ Commissions outlining the scope of works to be undertaken or approving the work already executed. Another Division’s task consists in programming and financing the methods and media whose results are conveyed to Publishing Division for publication. Where particularly valuable monuments are Involved, requiring especially complicated conservation treatments or using the new conservation media (as it was the case with the Romanesque flooring plate at Wiślica) the Division organizes the meetings of the most narrowly specialized experts in a subject to take the proper decisions and then to supervise their execution. More general as to their character are the Conservators’ Conferences organized by the Division with their sessions attended by representatives of conservation authorities and guests from abroad. Seven such conferences have been held up to now devoted to conservation of monumental objects made from wood, metal, textiles, leather, wall paintings, stone, paper and parchment, and easel paintings. Organizational measures have been already taken for preparation of a conference on conservator’s documentation. Proceedings of these conferences are published in form of reports and discussions in the Centre’s series „Biblioteka Muzealnictwa i Ochrony Zabytków, seria B” („Library of Museums and Monument Protection, series B ”).

Opis:
Technical equipment and machinery used in the production halls of companies largely determine work safety. Ensuring efficient production can be achieved by exercising control over the technical condition of machines and industrial equipment or the gradual modernization of the machinery in the continuous improvement process. A very important factor, due to which it is possible to improve actions of the effective production continuity maintenance, is the involvement of employees, both maintenance staff and production operators. The article presents the evaluation of the technical and organizational activities in the production department of the company. It also introduces results obtained from the quantitative survey among employees of the selected production line.
Urządzenia techniczne oraz maszyny wykorzystywane w halach produkcyjnych przedsiębiorstw w dużym stopniu decydują o bezpieczeństwie pracy. Zapewnienie sprawnej produkcji uzyskać można poprzez sprawowanie kontroli nad stanem technicznym maszyn i urządzeń przemysłowych czy też sukcesywną modernizację parku maszynowego w ramach procesu ciągłego doskonalenia. Bardzo ważnym czynnikiem dla usprawnienia działań efektywnego utrzymania ciągłości produkcyjnej jest zaangażowanie pracowników, zarówno służb utrzymania ruchu, jak i samych operatorów produkcji. Artykuł przedstawia ocenę stanu technicznego i działań organizacyjnych w dziale produkcyjnym badanego przedsiębiorstwa oraz prezentację uzyskanych wyników badań ilościowych z przeprowadzonej ankiety wśród pracowników wybranej linii produkcyjnej.
