Opis:
Alergia jest chorobą bardzo powszechną. Stosowane w leczeniu leki przeciwalergiczne wpływają istotnie na stan psychofizyczny pacjenta, obniżając jego zdolność do bezpiecznego prowadzenia pojazdu w ruchu drogowym. Analizując to zagadnienie za pomocą ankiety, wykazano, że zdecydowana większość leczonych kierowców nie przestrzega zaleceń o ostrożności i nie ma nawet wiedzy o negatywnych objawach leku.
The allergy is very common disease. Antiallergy drugs, applied in treatment, really influence psychophysical state of patient, decreasing its possibility of safe driving a car in the traffic road. After the analysis of this problem, using the questionnaires, it was showed, that majority of treated drivers doesn’t keep recommendations about caution and hasn’t even knowledge about the negative symptoms of the drug.

Autonomous driving vehicle could increase driving efficiency, reduce traffic congestion and improve driving safety, it is considered as the solution of current traffic problems. Decision making systems for autonomous driving vehicles have significant effects on driving performance. The performance of decision making system is affected by its framework and decision making model. In real traffic scenarios, the driving condition of autonomous driving vehicle faced is random and time-varying, the performance of current decision making system is unable to meet the full scene autonomous driving requirements. For autonomous driving vehicle, the division between different driving behaviors needs clear boundary conditions. Typically, in lane change scenario, multiple reasonable driving behavior choices cause conflict of driving state. The fundamental cause of conflict lies in overlapping boundary conditions. To design a decision making system for autonomous driving vehicles, firstly, based on the decomposition of human driver operation process, five basic driving behavior modes are constructed, a driving behavior decision making framework for autonomous driving vehicle based on finite state machine is proposed. Then, to achieve lane change decision making for autonomous driving vehicle, lane change behavior characteristics of human driver lane change maneuver are analyzed and extracted. Based on the analysis, multiple attributes such as driving efficiency and safety are considered, all attributes benefits are quantified and the driving behavior benefit evaluation model is established. By evaluating the benefits of all alternative driving behaviors, the optimal driving behavior for current driving scenario is output. Finally, to verify the performances of the proposed decision making model, a series of real vehicle tests are implemented in different scenarios, the real time performance, effectiveness, and feasibility performance of the proposed method is accessed. The results show that the proposed driving behavior decision making model has good feasibility, real-time performance and multi-choice filtering performance in dynamic traffic scenarios.

The paper presents theoretical evaluation of the effect of operating parameters on electric vehicle energy consumption and driving range. The objective of this study was to analyse the effect of temperature (at constant pressure) and traction properties on the energy consumption and driving range related to it of a chosen electric vehicle. The test methods assumed the analysis of parameters of the test object based on a simulation model. The evaluation involved a Nissan Leaf vehicle equipped with an electric motor, the torque characteristic curve of which was used in the test model. The values of basic and additional resistance to motion for the adopted conditions: external temperature and pressure-dependent air density, and vehicle technical parameters, such as its weight, capacitance of batteries, vehicle dimensions, type of drive system, drag coefficient and tyre dimensions, were determined. Basing on these data and the characteristic curve of engine torque, electric vehicle energy consumption and driving range were determined. The following relationships were obtained because of the analysis: vehicle energy consumption / vehicle driving range and external temperature, vehicle energy consumption / vehicle driving range and vehicle acceleration, vehicle energy consumption / vehicle driving range and acclivity slope. It was proven that the operating parameters could considerably increase the energy consumption and the driving range of an electric vehicle.

Opis:
Selected experimental research results of truck tire in steady-state side cornering and transient cornering conditions are presented in this paper. Experimental research results of the tire have been used in simulation research of medium duty truck in nonlinear driving conditions. The paper presents the structure of the vehicle dynamics model and a description of applied tire-road interaction model. Simulation research of the vehicle lateral dynamics has been performed in two variants: without and with the model of tire relaxation. During research, the tire relaxation length has been also changed. The steering wheel angle changes were forced as continuous sinusoidal excitation signal with a constant amplitude and with continuously increasing frequency. There have been analysed basic physical quantities characterizing the vehicle lateral dynamics connected with the vehicle active safety, especially including body yaw velocity and lateral acceleration in the centre of the truck body mass. An analysis of research results have been performed in the time and frequency domain. Time courses of analysed physical quantities and their frequency spectrum, obtained for tire-road interaction model without and with the tire relaxation (with different values of relaxation length) have been compared. Based on the simulation research results there have been considered the influence of tire relaxation on the vehicle performance. There have been shown that the tire relaxation can significantly change courses of observed physical quantities connected with vehicle lateral dynamics connected with vehicle driving safety.

A novel approach to modelling of motor vehicle operation by employing special test cycles threated as realizations of the stochastic process of vehicle velocity is presented. The families of test cycles were designed to simulate driving conditions in street congestion, urban, extra-urban, and high-speed traffic. The data necessary for the development of test cycles was obtained in the empirical investigations conducted in real road traffic. The recorded velocity time-histories were analysed in the time, frequency, and process value domains. Fragments of the velocity vs. time curves, representative for the considered driving conditions, were selected to design test cycles. The statistical examination of those test cycles demonstrated that individual process realizations are similar to each other and to all the process realizations recorded during the empirical tests.

Vehicle onboard travel planning systems have been developed in recent years. Since the development of GPS-based devices equipped with digital mapping applications for many vehicles, route planning has become easier and more convenient for drivers. Although such systems are used by drivers, for delivery or courier companies, it is especially important to provide a high-quality service, which involves the timely delivery of goods. Traffic management authorities are also interested in acquiring data on road and traffic conditions to verify the effectiveness and smoothness of the flow of vehicles. This paper proposes a method for traffic data collection and an application for recording data of variable factors having impact on a vehicle speed in cities and agglomerations. Data acquisition and identification of factors having impact on reduction of vehicle speed in the cities has been presented for a case study of Gliwice. The results can be useful for traffic management authorities, municipal traffic, road planning departments and mobile apps designers.

Opis:
Mechanical defects of a vehicle driving system can be dangerous on the road. Diagnostic systems, which monitor operations of electric and electronic elements and devices of vehicles, are continuously developed and improved, while defects of mechanical systems are still not managed properly. This article proposes supplementing existing on-board diagnostics with a system of diagnosing selected defects to minimize their impact. It presents a method of diagnosing mechanical defects of the engine, gearbox and other elements of the driving system on the basis of a model of the vibration signal obtained adaptively. This method is suitable for engine valves, engine head gasket, main gearbox, joints, etc.

The pollutant emission from automotive internal combustion (IC) engines is highly susceptible to engine operation states determined by vehicle velocity processes. The article presents results of comparative examinations of specific distance pollutant emission characteristics determined from various vehicle driving tests. The specific distance pollutant emission was determined using vehicle type-approval and special tests as well as tests developed at the Automotive Industry Institute (PIMOT), treated as realizations of the stochastic process of vehicle velocity. The research results confirmed high susceptibility of the IC engine pollutant emission to the engine operation states, which endorses the usefulness of treating the conditions of operation of automotive engines as stochastic processes.
Emisja zanieczyszczeń z samochodowych silników spalinowych jest bardzo wrażliwa na stany pracy silników zdeterminowane procesami prędkości samochodów. W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań porównawczych charakterystyk emisji drogowej zanieczyszczeń w różnych testach jezdnych. Do wyznaczania emisji drogowej zanieczyszczeń wykorzystano testy stosowane w procedurach homologacyjnych i testy specjalne oraz opracowane w Przemysłowym Instytucie Motoryzacji, traktowane jako realizacje procesu stochastycznego prędkości samochodu. Wyniki badań potwierdziły znaczną wrażliwość emisji zanieczyszczeń na stany pracy silnika spalinowego, co potwierdza celowość traktowania warunków pracy silników samochodowych jako procesów stochastycznych.

Internal combustion engines as systems described by non-linear models do not have any properties that would not depend on their current states. The paper presents results of testing an automotive engine in dynamic states determined by the vehicle acceleration sign in vehicle driving tests simulating the real operation of passenger cars. During the tests, pollutant emission rates and fuel flow rates averaged for specific vehicle states were examined. The processes under investigation were found to be highly sensitive both to the dynamic states and to the types of the vehicle driving tests.
Silniki spalinowe jako układy opisywane modelami nieliniowymi nie mają właściwości niezależnych od stanów, w jakich się znajdują. W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań silnika samochodowego w stanach dynamicznych zdeterminowanych znakiem przyspieszenia pojazdu w testach jezdnych symulujących rzeczywistą eksploatację samochodów osobowych. Badano uśrednione w tych stanach: natężenie emisji zanieczyszczeń i natężenie przepływu paliwa. Stwierdzono znaczną wrażliwość badanych procesów zarówno na stany dynamiczne, jak i na rodzaje testów jezdnych.

During the operation of vehicles, their operational parameters change, which is related to the influence of working factors, the current situation on the road and its capacity, as well as the wear processes of the vehicle components. Improving the operational and ecological properties of motor vehicles, taking into account technical, legal and operational factors, is a constantly important issue. The article presents selected test results of a vehicle used in the eco-driving technique in urban traffic. The main objective of the study was to verify the possibility of limiting intensive braking and the number of braking thanks to the use of eco-driving. Limitations of intensive braking allow extending the service life of the friction elements of the braking system. The research was carried out on the so-called routine route from work to home in a selected area of the city of Lublin in south-eastern Poland. The obtained research results focus on the influence of selected driving parameters, such as: mileage, road characteristics, number of vehicle stops, number of vehicle stops at intersections and in front of pedestrian crossings, depending on the driving style. The analysis of the results shows the benefits of eco-driving in city traffic.

Vehicle driving tests worked out by the authors and simulating the typical road operation of a motor vehicle have been described. The tests have been developed on the grounds of analyses of vehicle speed processes recorded during empirical tests, which were carried out in road traffic conditions. In the vehicle motion models adopted, the conditions of vehicle operation in congestion, urban, extra–urban, and high–speed traffic were separately considered. Pollutant emission test results obtained from the driving test procedures proposed have been presented.
W pracy przedstawiono opracowane przez autorów testy jezdne symulujące typowe użytkowanie trakcyjne samochodu. Opracowano je na podstawie analiz procesów prędkości samochodu uzyskanych w badaniach empirycznych przeprowadzonych w ruchu drogowym. W przyjętych modelach ruchu wyodrębniono warunki użytkowania samochodu w zatorach ulicznych, w miastach, poza miastami i na trasach szybkiego ruchu. Przedstawiono wyniki badań emisji zanieczyszczeń uzyskane z zastosowaniem zaproponowanych testów jezdnych.

Simulation methods commonly used throughout the design and verification process of various types of motor vehicles require development of naturalistic driving cycles. Optimization of parameters, testing and gradual increase in the degree of autonomy of vehicles is not possible based on standard driving cycles. Ensuring representativeness of synthesized time series based on collected databases requires algorithms using techniques based on stochastic and statistical models. A synthesis technique combining the MCMC method and multifractal analysis has been proposed and verified. The method allows simple determination of the speed profile compared to classic frequency analysis.
Metody symulacyjne powszechnie stosowane w całym procesie projektowania i weryfikacji różnych typów pojazdów mechanicznych wymagają opracowania eksploatacyjnych cykli jezdnych. Optymalizacja parametrów, testowanie i stopniowe zwiększanie stopnia autonomiczności pojazdów nie jest możliwe na bazie standardowych cykli jezdnych. Zapewnienie reprezentatywności syntezowanych szeregów czasowych na podstawie zgromadzonych baz danych wymaga algorytmów wykorzystujących techniki bazujące na modelach stochastycznych i statystycznych. Zaproponowano i zweryfikowano technikę syntezy łączącą metodę Monte Carlo wykorzystującą łańcuch Markowa (MCMC) oraz analizę multifraktalną. Metoda umożliwia proste wyznaczenie profilu prędkości jazdy w porównaniu do klasycznej analizy częstotliwościowej.

In this paper, selected elements of the theory of the car's motion were presented. It was emphasised that it is extremely important to know the rules of behaviour of a car in curvilinear motion, an example of which is a curve, especially when driving in adverse weather conditions resulting in the significant reduction of the car's traction to the surface. The active electronic stability programme (ESP) of the car's trajectory, its principle of operation and benefits of use were briefly discussed. The next part was to present the basics of the mechanics of a vehicle's motion, especially the forces acting on a car during its stop phase, the forces acting on the curve of the road. On this basis, the basic equilibrium equations were presented, which in turn led to defining the correlation for determining the so-called safe speed of driving in circular motion, which also guarantees the impossibility of the cars skidding. In the further part, the calculations, in accordance with the BMW 320d car's data were made. Hypothetically, it was assumed that this car might have only a front-wheel drive, only a rear-wheel drive or a four-wheel drive. The idea was to check to what extent the type of drive has an impact on the achieved value of the safe speed of driving in the circular motion with a minimum turning radius for this vehicle. The article was completed with short conclusions, in which the importance of the electronic stability programme (ESP) of the car's trajectory was emphasised.

This paper provides characteristics of the evacuation and technical rescue heavy vehicles. Heavy tactical evacuation and technical rescue vehicles are built on the chassis of tactical vehicles with high loading capacity, generally with8x8 driving system. In each analysed case, the vehicles are one of the family members of the tactical heavy-duty vehicles. Evacuation equipment of such vehicles is as follows: main winch, arm or towing device, and lifting equipment. A domestically manufactured vehicle, developed under the project No. 356/BO/1, was presented. The testing process that such type of vehicles, including the above mentioned, are subject to have been discussed herein. Revision of parameters received and as specified in the requirements and relevant standards enforces an adequate scope of testing. In the case of the MAMUT vehicle, the following requirements have been checked: structural design, engine, driving system, cab, main winch, auxiliary winch, winch for self-recovery, hydraulic crane, hydraulic hoisting and towing equipment, power generator, electrical system, safety, ergonomics and technical aesthetics, specialist equipment, secret camouflage, and transportability.

In the assumptions, regarding to the transport policy both at the level of country and Europe there is the concept of sustainable development of transport. Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with Poznan University of Technology performs research work concerning the shaping of environmentally friendly transport system – Project EMITRANSYS. In this project, one of the conditions is to reduce exhaust emissions by means of transport. The paper presents the reasons for the testing of the exhaust emissions under Real Driving Emissions testing (RDE). Research potential of Institute of Combustion Engines and Transport at Poznan University of Technology in the area of road testing of passenger and heavy-duty vehicles has been presented in the paper. Example test results have been shown in the aspect of the emission-related classification of vehicles. The major challenge of worldwide emission standards, engine operating parameters in various emissions tests, the test potential under real operating conditions, the view of the analyser for on-road emission testing of vehicles, the test results for road emission of CO, HC and NOx, detailed characteristics of the averaged particle number for the entire test run (vehicles with different mileage and different emission class) for: Euro 4 class and 75,000 km; Euro 4 class and 500,000 km; Euro 5 class and 75,000 km; Euro 5 class and 500,000 km are presented in the paper.
