    Opis:
    W artykule zaproponowano zastosowanie dyskretnej transformaty falkowej (ang. DWT) do dekompozycji niestacjonarnego sygnału reprezentującego zmienność rytmu pracy serca (ang. HRV). Metoda ta pozwala na wydzielenie i usunięcie nieliniowego trendu sygnału oraz przeprowadzenie analizy widmowej badanego sygnału z uwzględnieniem określonych pasm częstotliwości, które są związane z aktywnością autonomicznego systemu nerwowego.
    In this paper, the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is proposed for decomposition of nonstationary HRV signal (heart rate variability). This method allows to obtain and remove a nonlinear signal trend, and perform spectral analysis of the detrended signal considering specific frequency bands that are related to the activity of the autonomic nervous system.

    Opis:
    We discuss the notion of the financial cycle making a clear indication that the thorough study of its empirical properties in case of developing economies is still missing. We focus on the observed series of credit and equity and make formal statistical inference about the properties of the cycles in case of Polish economy. The non-standard subsampling procedure and discrete spectral characteristics of almost periodically correlated time series are applied to make formal statistical inference about the cycle. We compare the results with those obtained for UK and USA. We extract the cyclical component and confront empirical properties of the financial cycle for small open economy with those established so far in case of developed economies.

    Opis:
    In this paper the analysis of backlash influence on the spectrum of torque at the output shaft of a cycloidal gearbox has been performed. The model of the single stage cycloidal gearbox was designed in the MSC Adams. The analysis for the excitation with the torque and the analysis with constant angular velocity of the input shaft were performed. For these analyses, the amplitude spectrums of the output torque for different backlashes was solved using FFT algorithm. The amplitude spectrums of the combined sine functions composed of the impact to impact times between the cycloidal wheel and the external sleeves were computed for verification. The performed studies show, that the backlash has significant influence on the output torque amplitude spectrum. Unfortunately the dependencies between the components of the spectrum and the backlash could not be expressed by linear equations, when vibrations of the output torque in the range of (350 Hz – 600 Hz) are considered. The gradual dependence can be found in the spectrum determined for the combined sine functions with half-periods equal impact-to-impact times. The spectrum is narrower for high values of backlash.
