W artykule przedstawiono problematykę przystosowania jachtów żaglowych i żaglowo-motorowych dla potrzeb żeglowania osób o ograniczonych ruchach oraz osób niepełnosprawnych. W ostatnim czasie zarówno w Unii Europejskiej jak i w USA powstają regulacje prawne nakłaniające firmy produkujące rekreacyjne jednostki pływające do uwzględniania specyficznych wymogów osób niepełnosprawnych. W artykule opisano potrzeby w tym zakresie oraz specjalistyczne wyposażenie pokładowe umożliwiające korzystanie z jachtów przez osoby niepełnosprawne.
The problem of sailing and motor yacht construction adjustment for disabilities has been presented in the paper. In last time in European Union and USA are arranged new regulations urged makers of tourist yachts to take in consideration specific requirements of disability service. In the paper necessity in above mentioned area are discussed with special equipment to use of yachts by disabilited people.

People with disabilities constitute a significant group in a social environment that requires many different forms of assistance and support, especially of institutional character. In Poland, institutional assistance for adults with disabilities has a heterogeneous dimension and includes both financial and non-financial assistance. The multiplicity and variety of forms of help and support offered to adults with disabilities by different (state) institutions indicates that everyone with disabilities can benefit from the help that is most appropriate for them. On the basis of in-depth interviews conducted with adults with disabilities, we wanted to check to what extent the proposed forms of help and institutional support meet the expectations of people with different disabilities, especially in respect to their professional and adult life, how people with disabilities assess the activities of these institutions and how the professional situation of people with disabilities looks like. The conclusions and guidelines for the practice this paper contains were constructed based on the material from the interviews we carried out with adults with disabilities.

At present, liberal democracies conduct various policies in relation to people with disabilities. Several models of policy can be distinguished such as social-democratic, liberal, and corporate among others. This paper examines how the inclusion of people with disabilities is achieved in Canada. The inclusion of people with disabilities is achieved through the redistribution of the state income to secure health and social benefits while promoting a society without barriers and a culture of integration. It corresponds with the social democratic model or institutional- redistributive with an emphasis on human rights and universality.

Background. The objective of the paper was to determine attitudes represented by students of the following fields of study: Physical Education and Physiotherapy at the University School of Physical Education in Wrocław towards people with intellectual disabilities. Material and methods. The respondents (N = 167) completed a modified (the notion: a disabled person/invalid and a handicapped person was replaced by one term: a person with intellectual disabilities) version of Scale of Attitudes towards the Handicapped by A.E. Sękowski. The obtained results have undergone a two-way ANOVA statistical analysis based on the following design: gender (female vs. male) × field of study (Physical Education vs. Physiotherapy) × attitudes towards people with intellectual disabilities. Results and conclusions. The obtained results indicate that more positive attitudes towards people with intellectual disabilities are shown by students of Physiotherapy than those studying Physical Education. The post hoc comparison of means in the statistically insignificant two-way interaction of students’ genders and their field of study indicates that the effect observed previously is caused by less favorable attitudes towards people with intellectual disabilities shown by female students of Physical Education than by the rest of subjects.

Article describes access to tourist information and the consistency of tourist offers with this kind of information for people with disabilities. The conception of accessible tourism was presented as well as the model of tourist information availability with the demonstration of technology applied to ensure objective information about all services so as people with disabilities could evaluate the scope of accessibility according to their personal needs. Based on the analysis of information systems found on Internet tourist portals what is presented is the scope of information availability from the point of view of people with disabilities. These information systems largely contribute to the development of accessible tourism. In Poland, the issue of implementing the assumption of accessible tourism, including the availability of a coherent information system is an important challenge that requires integrated systemic activities of many entities.

The paper is an attempt od presenting different form of cooperation of universities and employers leading to increase of employability graduates, including those with disabilities. The problem of contemporary academic education is to assure suitability of education to employment of graduates, to open the educational process to labor market, and to shape such qualifications and skills that are needed by employers. In the content of the paper the advantages and barriers of cooperation with employers were presented. The main advantages are as follows (among others): increasing the recognition of universities among potential employers and candidates, increasing the quality of education and researches, increasing of chances of employment after graduation, building a net of contacts on business environment, increasing the quality of human capital, promoting images of companies as an attractive partner. Moreover, in the content of the paper the factors of obstacles of employability of people with disabilities were pointed out and characterized. The most important factors are combined with problems od administrative, financial, social, organizational, qualifications, information, infrastructural nature.

Artykuł dotyczy dylematów związanych z zatrudnieniem osób niepełnosprawnych w Polsce. Sformułowane zostały rekomendacje dotyczące pożądanego kierunku zmian legislacyjnych na rzecz zatrudnienia osób niepełnosprawnych oraz przeprowadzona została analiza dotycząca roli otwartego i chronionego rynku pracy z punktu widzenia zatrudnienia osób niepełnosprawnych. Sformułowano też listę potrzeb, zmian i zagrożeń w zatrudnianiu osób niepełnosprawnych zarówno ze strony pracodawców, jak i niepełnosprawnych pracowników. Artykuł kończą rozważania na temat możliwości i konieczności promowania zatrudnienia osób niepełnosprawnych.
The article concerns the dilemmas related to the employment of people with disabilities in Poland. Recommendations were formulated on the desired direction of legislative changes on the employment of people with disabilities and conducted an analysis on the role of open and protected labor market in terms of employment of people with disabilities . Formulated a list of needs and risks of changes in employment of disabled persons from both employers and workers with disabilities. The article ends with a reflection on the possibilities and the need to promote the employment of people with disabilities.
