Opis:
Currently used, computer railway traffic control systems , communicate via standard digital interfaces: CAN, Ethernet or RS485. In order to carry out the proof of security, it is necessary to test the functioning of the interfaces under different conditions. The IBIS model (I/O Buffer Information Specification) was used to simulate the transmission of signals through interfaces. The article discusses the applied interface models and simulation results in various conditions. The presented results can be used to prove the safety of transmission in computer railway traffic control systems.

Opis:
High level solution S4 of the IMO E-navigation Strategy Implementation Plan provides integration and presentation of available information in graphical displays received via communication equipment. At the same time, the problem of the correct application of digital selective calling (DSC) operational procedures in navigation practice has existed since the introduction of the GMDSS and requires a solution. This problem may be resolved on the base of integration maritime navigation and radiocommunication equipment. The article proposes approach for practical realization of this integration by implementing a SMART (specific, measurable, assignable, realistic, and timely) DSC interface within S4. Using this approach the practical realisation integration of AIS – DSC – Information display was implemented. It makes possible implementation of user-friendly human-machine interface (HMI) for navigator. An experimental prototype of communication graphical interface is designed, which allows effective decision-making on radio communication control/monitoring. The use IEC 61162-1/2 (Maritime navigation and radiocommunication equipment – Digital interfaces) data transfer provides standard inter-module connections and eliminates the negative impact of the equipment diversity from different manufacturers by means uniform HMI implementation.

The design of digital products is a practical activity involving such specialisations as information architecture, user experience, user interface design, and interaction design. These professions have existed for a short time. Their emergence is related to the widespread access to the internet and the use of information and communication technologies. The authors show that the language used by digital product designers in everyday professional activity, and also present in professional publications and training courses, is a professiolect. It is characterised by a small number of native terms and a dominance of terms borrowed from the English language, which is related to the facts that the profession is new, computer applications with English interfaces are used in everyday work, and the companies and projects are international. The paper presents the most important features of the digital product designer professiolect, focusing primarily on vocabulary sources and borrowings. The authors give examples of proper, semantic and structural borrowings selected from the translations of books published from 2012–2019, and from online training courses and job advertisements published between August and November, 2019 on the job websites: Crossjob, Indeed, Praca UX, Praca.pl, and Pracuj.pl.

The article probes the intermedial structure of the skeuomorphic interface in Pathfinder: Kingmaker. The author indicates that intermedia research in game studies is often diachronically limited, focusing on material and semiotic interactions between “old” and “new” media. He proposes to open the field onto historically aware discoursive analysis and bases his method on Friedrich Kittler’s notion of “discourse networks”. This allows him to inspect the game in relation to technologically-founded networks that embody or bring into life specific modes of though and experience. During his analysis, he discovers that the interface design is involved with navigation devices in Late Medieval and Early Renaissance periods, Alberti’s windows as objects through with narrative spaces become visible, isometric modes of objective thinking, industrial and cybernetic notions of control, and the Xerox invention of the computer as a working environment.

In the relativistic world of the 21st century, if the Bauhaus would still be upheld as doctrine, we must face the truth: it can hardly be considered a provocation. Rather, we most often find ourselves caught between contradictory wishes to preserve an intact past and to make sense of a resolute avant-gardism. This paper proposes that the Bauhaus, as a discursive knowledge body, be structuralistically analyzed with Foucauldian Discourse Analysis. Our claim is substantiated by: first, that a F oucaultian concept of discourse offers an alternative to the practice of history and theory; second, that the publication of Bauhaus reveals a discursive structure in a F oucaultian sense; third, that discourse-analysis-search-engine can perform the analysis on the Bauhaus corpus, contributing to emergent epistemological positions; fourth, that this revealed structure of discourse could be mapped and re-materialized to invite interferences on today’s territory of Bauhaus Discourse. The research and development process in the accompanying project “Bauhaus Orbits – scenographic apparatus for discourse analysis” (bauhausorbits.de) will be discussed.

Opis:
This paper focuses on the influence of the semiotic organization of the digital message on the creation of aesthetic meanings in digital art. It presents  modifications in the sphere of text presen-tation and focuses on functions that it play in creation of literary meanings. Moving, sound created, changing shape and color texture is the place of creation of meanings as well as the inter- action of the semantic of the texture and the semantic of words. New digital tools, e.g. program-ming, the interface are important part of new semiotic code that shapes literature (e.g. linking facilitates the creation of new forms of plots, the interface is a part of literary discourse, the cursor is both the medium of meanings and the tool of text working). The paper concludes that digital technologies redefine the ontology of the literary text and art discourse.

Web-based software system for processing bilingual digital resourcesThe article describes a software management system developed at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, BAS, for the creation, storing and processing of digital language resources in Bulgarian. Independent components of the system are intended for the creation and management of bilingual dictionaries, for information retrieval and data mining from a bilingual dictionary, and for the presentation of aligned corpora. A module which connects these components is also being developed. The system, implemented as a web-application, contains tools for compilation, editing and search within all components.

W pracy przedstawiono polski system TermoLab wspomagający analizę i wizualizację obrazów termalnych. Podstawową zaletą systemu TermoLab jest możliwość prowadzenia równoległej analizy danych pomiarowych uzyskanych z różnych kamer, co umożliwia wyznaczanie stopnia ich skorelowania. System jest autorskim pakietem oprogramowania dla komputerów PC działającym pod kontrolą systemu Windows 9x/2000. TermoLab umożliwia zaawansowaną analizę statystyczną i częstotliwościową termogramów. Dodatkowo, dzieki uniwersalnemu interfejsowi macierzowemu możliwa jest analiza obrazów termalnych pochodzących z pomiaru różnymi kamerami. W pracy przedstawiono przykładowe funkcje oraz opisano zadania programu TermoLab. Wskazano możliwe zastosowania pakietu jako systemu diagnostyki termalnej.
In the paper system Tremolab has been presented. Thermolab supports analysis of thermal images. System works under control of Windows`9x/2000 operating system. The system enables a basic and advanced statistical and frequency-domain analysis. Thermolab can also visualize thermal images in different palettes. Further, due to use of universal matrix interface (UMI) an analysis of thermograms stored by different types of cameras is possible. Due to this solution the correlation analysis of groups of thermograms is possible. On the basic of correlation analysis the diagnostic decision can be made. The system can be used as a sophisticated tool for the thermal-diagnostic applications.

Modern ways of device development use the concept of a digital twin. A digital twin is an accurate digital copy of something that exists or is planned to be realized in the physical world. The digital twin is not only a virtual model of the physical system, but also a dynamic data and status information carrier obtained through a series of IoT-connected sensors that collect data from the physical world and send it to machines. The digital twin provides an overview of what is happening to the device in real time. This is very important in industry as this information is helpful to reduce maintenance issues and ensure production performance. This work focuses on the design and creation of a cybernetic physical system and its digital twin, based on CAD system modeling in conjunction with simulation and programming tools connected to real and simulated control systems. This process accelerates the development of the application implementation with the possibility to create a PLC control program and tune the system already in the design phase. Thus, the physical realization can be done in parallel with the programming and creation of the HMI interface. Modular programming will further accelerate software development [1]. The created system and its digital twin serve as a unified teaching tool without the need for real devices to be used by many students and users. This approach allows testing of program algorithms without the risk of damaging physical devices and is also suitable for distance learning.

Celem artykułu jest ukazanie transformacji cyfrowej przedsiębiorstwa produkcyjnego, prowadzonej według modelu referencyjnego architektury przemysłu czwartej generacji RAMI 4.0, w zakresie akwizycji danych produkcyjnych, z zastosowaniem panelu operatorskiego HMI. Zagadnienia te zostaną omówione na przykładzie przedsiębiorstwa produkcji farb i lakierów sektora MŚP, w którym autor artykułu podczas stażu wdrożył rozwiązanie akwizycji danych produkcyjnych, dotychczas dostarczanych w technologii papierowej. Cyfrowa transformacja danych w przedsiębiorstwie MŚP 4.0 została zamodelowana według aktualnych trendów Przemysłu 4.0. Model wdrożeniowy opracowano według modelu referencyjnego RAMI 4.0. W artykule zostaną przedstawione inicjatywy i skutki transformacji cyfrowej według modelu referencyjnego RAMI 4.0. Akwizycję danych i raportowanie do systemu ERP bezpośrednio z linii produkcyjnej umożliwił panel operatorski HMI. Analiza powdrożeniowa z dwuletniej eksploatacji przebudowanych procesów akwizycji danych pozwoliła określić obszary biznesowe korzystające z niej i wyższej jakości raportowania produkcji. Wskazano efekty ożywienia rytmów funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwa na skutek dostępu do danych produkcyjnych wszystkich podmiotów czerpiących z jednego źródła danych SSOT w ramach systemu ERP.
The implementation of the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) operator panel on the production line is a new stage of the digital transformation of a paints and varnishes manufacturer in the SMEs sector. As part of an innovation plan, the process of production data acquisition was restructured, by means of IT (Information Technology), into an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. The introduction of an HMI panel made it possible to digitalize data acquisition and operation reporting to the ERP system. The digital transformation of the SME 4.0 company was modelled on the Industry 4.0 trend solutions. The specialized model, developed according to RAMI 4.0 (Reference Architecture Model Industry 4.0), effected change of a partial and local nature in the enterprise. The data is now entered directly into the production area by the employees on the technological line, once they have logged in to the ERP system. Access to digital production data obtained from a SSOT (single source of truth) benefited all those who used the ERP system. A postimplementation analysis of a two-year application of the restructured data acquisition process indicates the business areas which profit from digital operational data acquisition and higher quality production reporting.

W artykule zaprezentowano cyfrowy system laboratoryjny oparty na magistrali SPI z mikrokontrolerem w roli urządzenia Master oraz różnymi urządzeniami Slave podłączonymi do magistrali (cyfrowy termometr, potencjometr, pamięć EEPROM, układ programowalny CPLD). Założeniem projektu jest stworzenie bazy sprzętowo-programistycznej dla rozwojowego systemu zdalnie sterowanego oraz programowanego przez Ethernet. Użytkownik przez stronę internetową ma możliwość wysłania żądania tcp/http dla urządzeń na magistrali SPI, a w odpowiedzi http otrzymuje informacje o stanie urządzeń. System jest przystosowany do zdalnego ładowania nowych wersji programu do pamięci mikrokontrolera po Ethernecie.
The article presents a laboratory system based on SPI bus with a microcontroller as the Master device and various Slave devices connected to the Master over the SPI bus. The variety of digital devices with SPI interface enables the growth of the project. In the exemplary system several digital devices were used: a thermometer, an EEPROM memory, a potentiometer and a PLD structure. The PLD structure is chosen as Slave device on the bus to take advantage of its typical functionality: ability to perform fast arithmetical calculations. In order to inform of an alarm state the CPLD structure must use an external interrupt line to the microcontroller because Slave device cannot start a communication session over SPI bus. The microcontroller is chosen as Master device because it possesses various external interfaces especially Ethernet interface. The aim of the project is creating a remotely controlled system programmed over the Ethernet which can expand through connecting additional devices on the SPI bus and writing libraries for them. The Ethernet interface is used to load the microcontroller program over the Ethernet which gives the student the ability to remotely load and test the microcontroller software.

Artykuł zawiera analizę graficznych postów Tomasza Pułki (zamieszczanych przez autora na art blogu „Cichy Nabiauł”), w których tekstowej warstwie pojawiają się wiersze Pułki, publikowane także w drukowanych książkach poetyckich. Autorka zestawia dwa porządki medialne funkcjonowania poezji Pułki. Główną osią analizy jest screenshot – cyfrowa praktyka artystyczna, służąca Pułce do wprowadzania własnej poezji (a więc wypowiedzi metaforycznej) w przestrzenie interfejsów (które również w swej konstrukcji mają charakter metaforyczny).
I analyze graphic posts by Tomasz Pułka (posted by the author on the Cichy Nabiau blog) which also contain Pułka’s poems published in printed poetry collections. I examine two medialities of Pułka’s poetry, concentrating on the screenshot – a digital artistic practice used by Pułka to introduce his poetry (i.e. metaphorical texts) into the spaces of various interfaces (which are also metaphorical in their design).

The article discusses the strategy of reading the body of texts published by Tomasz Pułka on the Nieszuflada poetry portal, which is almost completely overlooked in literary reception and publishing practice. The author answers the question of how the technological aspects of the publication, such as the user interface and code, are relevant in the context of the philological and genetic reading of the texts posted on the portal. The source code of the website is treated as material for philological research.

Opis:
Niniejszy artykuł podejmuje problematykę badań literaturoznawczych nad nowym zjawiskiem literackim, jakim jest w Polsce poezja cybernetyczna. Szczegółowym przedmiotem badań stają się utwory Leszka Onaka – jednego z głównych twórców tego nurtu. Autor artykułu proponuje, by – ze względu na innowacyjny charakter literatury wykorzystującej nowe media – tradycyjną metodologię literaturoznawczą opartą na interpretacji wzbogacić o koncepcje performatywne. Stara się udowodnić, że dzięki takiej perspektywie pozornie pozbawione treści utwory poddają się interpretacji. Podkreślone zostaje znaczenie działania i ruchu, które są podstawowymi właściwościami utworów poezji cybernetycznej. Interpretacji zostaje poddany także utwór jako akt – performatywny gest twórcy.
The present paper tackles the issue of studies of the new literary phenomenon, that is cybernetic poetry in Poland. The works by Leszek Onak, one of the main representatives of this current, are a special subject of the study. The author of the article suggests that – due to an innovative character of the literature that uses the new media – the traditional methodology of literary studies should be enriched with performative conceptions. He tries to prove that owing to such a perspective works that apparently are devoid of any content may be interpreted. The significance of action and motion is emphasized, that are the basic properties of cybernetic poetry works. Also a literary work as an act – an author’s performative gesture – is subjected to interpretation.
