Aim: The aim of the article is to present the scientific and didactic achievements of Prof. Wiesław Jamrożek. Methods: Methods appropriate for research on the history of the Polish pedagogical thought, social sciences and humanities were applied in the study. Results: The article presents a comprehensive overview of the achievements regarding publication of books, scientific articles, active participation in conferences and symposia. He was a member of the editorial office and program councils of several scientific journals and the editor-in-chief of the „Bulletin of the History of education”. He cooperated with or belonged to several scientific societies. He was a reviewer in many doctoral and postdoctoral dissertations and professor proceedings. He was appreciated for his good results in didactic work and the ability to establish contact with students. Conclusions: Prof. Wiesław Jamrożek brought considerable scientific achievements to the history of the Polish pedagogical thought and academic didactic work. He was a well-known and respected man in the scientific community.

Aim: The aim of the work is to present the pedagogical and didactic work of Stefania Mazurek. Methods: A biographical method, an analysis of archival materials Results: An attempt was made at reconstructing the path of life and didactic work in the changing social and political conditions on the territory of Upper Silesia, in Warsaw and in Opole Region in the postwar period based on archival materials. Conclusions: Mazurek was one of the first Polish teachers in secondary education system in Silesian Province (Voivodeship). In the time of the German occupation of Poland, she organized the Secret Pedagogium of Western Lands in Warsaw, which educated students preparing to be active teachers in that region. She implemented the conception of re-Polonization grammar comprehensive school in Opole in the postwar period as well as managed the Department of Foreign Languages in the Opole-based Teacher Training College – the first college of higher education in the region.

In the paper, there was undertaken an analysis of the validity of “evaluation” of the reformed higher education in accordance with Samuel Messick’s concept of unitary validity. The analysis was conducted through the prism of: (A) theoretical grounding of the evaluation of scientific and didactic work; (B) adequacy and usability of evaluative studies; (C) several axiological aspects of external evaluation; (D) social consequences of that evaluation. Taking a critical perspective at the analysis carried out showed (some) possible effects of the measurement of quality being introduced to college such as: (a) giving away the liberty of academic world into the captivity of parametrization; (b) instrumentalization and disciplining of scientists and their objectification; (c) extension of the space of academic pretence.
W opracowaniu podjęto analizę trafności „ewaluacji” reformowanego szkolnictwa wyższego i zgodnie z koncepcją unitarnej trafności Samuela Messicka dokonano jej pod kątem: (A) ugruntowania teoretycznego ewaluacji pracy naukowej i dydaktycznej; (B) stosowności i użyteczności badań ewaluacyjnych; (C) niektórych aksjologicznych aspektów ewaluacji zewnętrznej; (D) społecznych konsekwencji tej ewaluacji. Obranie krytycznej perspektywy prowadzonej analizy ukazało (niektóre) potencjalne skutki wprowadzania na uczelnię pomiaru jakości, takie jak: (a) oddawanie wolności uniwersyteckiego świata nauki w niewolę parametryzacji; (b) instrumentalizacja i dyscyplinowanie naukowców oraz ich uprzedmiotowienie; (c) rozrastanie się przestrzeni uczelnianego pozoru

Celem artykułu jest prezentacja wyników badań nad doświadczeniami nauczycieli akademickich w twórczej pracy dydaktycznej w aspekcie dotyczącym jej ewolucji na przestrzeni lat. Badania zostały przeprowadzone przy wykorzystaniu podejścia teoretyczno-metodologicznego The Evolving Systems Approach to Creative Work Howarda E. Grubera. Analiza i interpretacja zebranego materiału badawczego pochodzącego z wywiadów semistrukturyzowanych, analizy treści publikacji oraz analizy zdjęć z zajęć dydaktycznych prowadzonych przez badanych nauczycieli pozwoliła wyróżnić dwie fazy w rozwoju twórczej pracy dydaktycznej: pierwszy – intuicyjny, związany z poszukiwaniem „własnej drogi” w obszarze wybranych podejść/metod/technik kształcenia i drugi, związany z „odnalezieniem przestrzeni dla twórczych rozwiązań dydaktycznych” oraz typowymi dla tego etapu: przejściami między rolami”, a także progresem i transferem wiedzy i umiejętności dotyczących proponowanych rozwiązań.
The aim of the article is to present results of research into academic teachers’ experiences connected with didactic creative work in the aspect including evolution of it. The Evolving Systems Approach to Creative Work by Howard E. Gruber. Analysis and interpretation of research material derived from: semi-structured interviews, content analysis concerning teachers’ publications, and analysis of photos from didactic classes led by teachers allowed to distinguish two phases in the development of their didactic work. The first: intuitional connected with searching of „my own way” in the area of chosen: approaches/methods/techniques of education and the second connected with founding the space for creative didactic solutions and typical for this phase: progress and transfer the knowledge and skills regarding didactic solution proposed by them.

Opis:
The main aim of the article is to present the genesis and main assumptions of the theory The Evolving Systems Approach to Creative Work by Howard E. Gruber as well as an account of qualitative research into the experiences of academic teachers in the creative didactic work. In these studies the ESA theory was used both for the preparation of the research concept and for the analysis and interpretation of the obtained research results. 13 academic teachers participated in the research, introducing to the education of students for at least 5 years: pioneering adaptations, creative modifications, their own original didactic solutions including: concepts, strategies, methods, techniques and tools, workshops, students’ assessment systems. In the research there were applied the multiple, descriptive case studies, there were carry out semi-structured interviews and analysis of documents (publications, pictures). In the research was carried out a vertical analysis which resulted in the creation of an individual model of creative work for each research participant as well as a horizontal-cross-sectional analysis for all cases. On the grounds of many regularities found in studied cases the author of article presents proposition of systemic model of creative didactic work concerning examined innovators.
Głównym celem artykułu jest przedstawienie genezy i głównych założeń koncepcji teoretyczno-metodologicznej The Evolving Systems Approach to Creative Work Howarda E. Grubera, a także relacja z badań jakościowych nad doświadczeniami nauczycieli akademickich w twórczej pracy dydaktycznej. W badaniach tych wykorzystano teorię ESA zarówno do przygotowania koncepcji badawczej, jak i analizy i interpretacji uzyskanych wyników badań. W badaniach wzięło udział 13 nauczycieli akademickich, którzy przynajmniej od 5 lat wprowadzają do kształcenia studentów: pionierskie adaptacje, twórcze modyfikacje, własne autorskie rozwiązania dydaktyczne obejmujące: koncepcje, strategie, metody, techniki i narzędzia kształcenia, warsztaty, systemy oceniania studentów. W projekcie badawczym zastosowano wielokrotne, deskryptywne studium przypadku, przeprowadzono wywiady jakościowe semistrukturyzowane oraz analizę dokumentów (publikacje, zdjęcia). Przeprowadzono analizę wertykalną uzyskanych wyników badań, czego rezultatem było stworzenie indywidualnego modelu twórczej pracy każdego uczestnika badań, a także analizę horyzontalną-przekrojową przez wszystkie przypadki. Na podstawie licznych prawidłowości stwierdzonych u badanych przypadków przedstawiona została propozycja systemowego modelu twórczej pracy dydaktycznej badanych nauczycieli.

Grubera szczególnie istotne były indywidualne znaczenia jakie badani nauczyciele nadają zapisom zawartym w dokumencie i jak przekładają się one na ich pracę dydaktyczną związaną z wymyślaniem/wdrażaniem i popularyzowaniem nowych rozwiązań dydaktycznych obejmujących: koncepcje, metody, techniki kształcenia, autorskie modele warsztatów, systemy oceniania studentów itp.
The aim of this article is to present excerpts from results of research concerning academic teachers’ experiences in the field of creative didactic work in the context of National Qualification Framework (introduced in 2011). Research was conducted in line with Howard Gruber’s theoretical-methodological approach The evolving systems approach to creative work. For the author of the research the most important were individual meanings given by academic teachers to sentences in the document. It was also significant to observe how teachers implement these meanings in their didactic work regarding: invention, implementation and promotion of new didactic solutions including: concepts, methods, techniques, original models of workshops, students’ grading systems etc.

Centrum Edukacji Nauczycielskiej Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego organizuje i prowadzi zajęcia przygotowujące doktorantów do pracy dydaktycznej ze studentami zgodnie z wewnętrznymi regulacjami Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego oraz zgodnie z art. 197, ust. 2 i 3 Ustawy Prawo o Szkolnictwie Wyższym (Dz.U. z 2012 r., poz. 572) i Rozporządzeniem Ministra Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego w sprawie kształcenia na studiach doktoranckich w uczelniach i jednostkach naukowych (Dz.U. z 2011 r., nr 196, poz. 1196). Celem niniejszego artykułu jest analiza wyników ewaluacji wewnętrznej po przeprowadzonych zajęciach. Analizie porównawczej poddano wyniki ewaluacji zajęć prowadzonych na Wydziale Filologicznym i Biotechnologii UWr w latach 2016-2018. Analizie poddano m.in. takie kwestie jak: realizacja oczekiwań, ocena przystępności przekazywanej wiedzy, wpływ sposobu prowadzenia na komunikację i atmosferę, jak również na aktywność i współpracę uczestników zajęć. Okazało się, że dzięki zmianom programu na podstawie ewaluacji, udało się uzyskać lepsze dopasowanie zajęć do potrzeb doktorantów. Udało się m.in. wzbudzić większą chęć do polecania zajęć, do pogłębiania wiedzy we własnym zakresie. Udało się zwiększyć aktywność na zajęciach i podnieść stosunek emocjonalny do zajęć.
The Teacher’s Education Center of the University of Wroclaw organizes and conducts classes which prepares PhD students for their didactic work with students in accordance with the internal regulations of the University of Wrocław and in accordance with the Higher Education Law Act (Journal of Laws of 2012, item 572) and the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education on education at doctoral studies at universities and scientific units (Journal of Laws from 2011, No. 196, item 1196). The purpose of this article is to analyze the results of the internal evaluation after the preparatory classes. The results of the evaluation of classes conducted at the Faculty of Philology and Biotechnology of the Wrocław’s University from 2016-2018 were analyzed. Many of issues were analyzed, such as meeting expectations, assessment of the affordability of knowledge transfer, the impact of the method of conducting classes on communication and atmosphere, as well as the activity and cooperation of participants. It turned out that thanks to the program changes based on the evaluation, it was possible to get a better match of the classes to the needs of PhD students. We managed to arouse a greater willingness to recommending classes and to deepen knowledge on their own. We managed to increase the activity in the classroom and increase the emotional relation to the classes.

W prezentowanym artykule ukazano sylwetkę Janiny Tumińskiej, animatorki życia kulturalnego w okresie powstań i plebiscytu na Górnym Śląsku, wykładowcy pedagogiki w Tajnym Pedagogium Ziem Zachodnich im. Św. Jana Kantego w Warszawie w okresie okupacji, nauczycielki dorosłych w Państwowym Gimnazjum i Liceum dla Dorosłych w Opolu, tzw. Liceum repolonizacyjnym w la-tach 1947-1950, a następnie w liceum korespondencyjnym w Opolu. Skoncentrowano się na jej pracy wychowawczej wobec dorosłej młodzieży śląskiej w czasach powojennych, której celem była nauka języka polskiego oraz zapoznawanie z do-robkiem kultury ojczystej. J. Tumińska jest autorką bądź współautorką podręczników dla dorosłych wykorzystywanych na kursach repolonizacyjnych na terenie Opolszczyzny. W okrasie międzywojennym pisała do czasopism artykuły przybliżające problematykę śląską polskiemu czytelnikowi.
The article presents Janina Tumińska, an animator of cultural life in the time of uprisings and the border referendum in Upper Silesia, professor of peda-gogy in the St. Jan Kanty Secret Pedagogium of Western Lands in Warsaw during the occupation period, teacher of adults in Opole in the State Middle School and High School, the so-called repolonisation high school, in 1947-1950, and after that in the distance learning high school in Opole. The main area of interest is her work with young adults in Silesia after the war, where her goal was to teach Polish and show them their national heritage. J. Tumińska is the author or co-autor of adult course books used in repolonisation courses in the Opole region. In the inter-war era she wrote articles for magazines, in which she brought Silesian issues closer to the Polish reader.

W artykule pokazano wpływ Biblioteki Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego na pracę zawodową i naukową Pani Profesor Hanny Tadeusiewicz. Zaprezentowano jej działania jako redaktora Słownika pracowników książki polskiej. Naświetlono szczeble awansu zawodowego, główne kierunki badań naukowych oraz działalność dydaktyczną Pani Profesor. Przywołano wybrane konferencje i wernisaże oraz inne spotkania, w których uczestniczyła Pani Profesor, kiedy nie była już zatrudniona w łódzkiej książnicy.
The article presents the influence of the Lodz University Library on the professional and scientific work of Professor Hanna Tadeusiewicz. Her activities as the editor of The Dictionary of Polish Book Labourers were presented. The levels of professional advancement and the main directions of the scientific research as well as the didactic activity of the Professor were highlighted. Selected conferences and vernissages as well as other meetings attended by the Professor when she was no longer employed at the Lodz University Library, were recalled.

Opis:
Artykuł omawia studia, pracę dydaktyczną i pierwsze próby aktywności naukowej ciekawej postaci krakowskiego środowiska historycznego XX w., jaką był – pochodzący z ziemi jasielskiej – Józef Garbacik. Charakteryzujący się barwną osobowością mediewista swoje pierwsze kroki badawcze stawiał po ukończeniu studiów na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim w latach 30. XX w. W 1932 r. uzyskał doktorat na podstawie rozprawy Studia nad stosunkami polsko-włoskimi w XV wieku. Potem aktywnie udzielał się w Polskiej Akademii Umiejętności i krakowskim Oddziale Polskiego Towarzystwa Historycznego oraz podjął pracę w szkolnictwie średnim w Krakowie i Kielcach. Nie rezygnując z drogi naukowego rozwoju, publikował prace dotykające szeroko pojętej regionalistyki, odbywał podróże zagraniczne do Italii i poszerzał swoje badania nad relacjami Królestwa Polskiego z Wenecją i Kurią Rzymską.
The article discusses studies, didactic work and the first attempts at the academic activity of an interesting figure of the Kraków historical milieu of the twentieth century, Józef Garbacik, who came from the Jasło region. Characterised by a colourful personality, the medievalist took his first research steps after graduating from Jagiellonian University in the 1930s. In 1932, he obtained a PhD degree after defending his dissertation Studia nad stosunkami polsko-włoskimi w XV wieku [Studies on Polish-Italian relations in the 15th century]. Next, he was actively involved in the activities of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Kraków Branch of the Polish Historical Society, and started working in secondary education in Kraków and Kielce. Without giving up the path of academic development, he published works on broadly understood regional studies, travelled abroad to Italy, and expanded his research on the relations of the Kingdom of Poland with Venice and the Roman Curia.

Aim. The goal of the study is to describe the teacher’s corrective work on pre-schoolers’ sound pronunciation that is developed according to the children’s age, physiological and mental norms, and special educational needs. Methods. Four children with special educational needs participated in this experimental study. We used the method of monitoring children’s speech during various activities: play, household activity and teaching (during speech therapy classes and various types of practical language classes). Results and conclusion. Age-related features of pre-schoolers’ speech development have been identified in the study. The reasons and indicators of pre-schoolers’ speech development disorders have been described, and the ways to overcome language disorders have been found. The experimental study tested the effectiveness of articulation exercises in working with children with special educational needs in an inclusive environment, the involvement of psychologists and children’s parents to overcome speech disorders of pre-schoolers, and the use of folklore texts. Originality. In the experimental study, we observed that riddles, proverbs, ditties, tongue twisters, fairy tales, lullabies, nursery rhymes, counting rhymes, and sayings are an effective means of phonetics and articulation work, during both the speech development classes and other classes as well as during walks.

Opis:
On the basis of the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature and empirical studies of the educational process in higher educational economic institution, the necessity of systematic teachers’ training for the organization of independent work of students, while studying mathematical disciplines, has been defined in this article. Taking into account modern requirements of scientific and pedagogical activities, the definition of "didactic competence of the teacher of mathematical disciplines" has been proposed as an important condition of organization of independent student’s work. The components of the didactic competence as a system unit have been characterized, namely motivational-value, cognitive, methodically-organizational and reflective components. To ensure a sufficient level of didactic competence of teachers of mathematical disciplines, it has been proposed to conduct trainings, consultations and interviews in accordance with the principles of coaching technology.
