    Opis:
    W artykule podjęto temat opracowania układu sterowania i kontroli parametrów pracy kotła parowego z wykorzystaniem sterownika programowalnego. Podstawowym założeniem projektu była jego przydatność dydaktyczna. Stąd pomysł, by zaprezentować możliwość automatyzacji wspomnianego układu na istniejącym stanowisku laboratoryjnym – z łatwą dostępnością oraz widocznością elementów składowych. Drugim założeniem wstępnym było osiągnięcie możliwie największego poziomu zautomatyzowania projektowanego układu. System został opracowany dla sterownika programowalnego LOGO! firmy Siemens, z wykorzystaniem darmowego oprogramowania LOGO! Soft Comfort, pozwalającego m.in. na łatwą symulację projektowanych układów sterowania, co jest szczególnie istotne w kontekście dydaktycznym.
    The work deals with the development of control system and monitoring of steam boiler op-eration parameters using a programmable controller. The basic assumption of the project was its didactic usefulness. Hence the idea to present the possibility of automation of the system on an existing laboratory stand – with easy accessibility and visibility of constituent elements. The sec-ond preliminary assumption was to achieve the highest possible level of automation of the designed system. The system has been developed for the LOGO! programmable controller by Siemens, using the free LOGO! Soft Comfort environment, allowing, among other things, for an easy simulation of designed control systems, which is especially important in the didactic context.

    Opis:
    Professor Z. Krygowska in her article, opening the frst issue of the PTM (Polish Mathematical Society) journal Didactics of mathematics (Dydaktyka Matematyki), (Krygowska, 1981) noted that the teacher and his preparation, and thus the problems of teaching mathematics, are never ahistorical. We live here and now, our pupils (students, doctoral students) are immersed in the contemporary time and in the current form of being. The Internet, computer games, the considerable computational capabilities even of smartphones (and, more specically, the relevant applications) - seem to solve many of the needs that were once met by mathematical skills. Mathematics is becoming more useful and, at the same time, less noticeable by people (a so-called - background usability). What 10 years ago was a strong motivating element, is now ceasing to be a problem.

    Opis:
    The research is based on a range of scientific approaches such as communication and activity-oriented, dialogue-centered, personality-directed, culture-oriented and technological. The stages of the pedagogic technology of forming cross-cultural communication experience are outlined. They are orientation and motivation, cognitive and informative, transforming and analytical, reflexion and estimation. In accordance to each stage, some of the didactic means of preparation of future managers of foreign economic activity for cross-cultural communication are elaborated and characterized. During the outlined stages students develop their motivation for improving cross-cultural communication abilities, obtain skills for reflexivity of their own and others' communicative activity, get knowledge in different aspects of cross-cultural communication, acquire communicative skills, in particular those concerning managing cross-cultural conflicts.
