    Globalna gospodarka ewoluuje w sposób ciągły. Pod wpływem splotu zmian licznych uwarunkowań zmieniają się rynki. Jednym z rynków podlegających współcześnie istotnym zmianom jest rynek pracy. Celem opracowania jest identyfikacja najważniejszych przekształceń dokonujących się na jego stronie popytowej. Ich szczególnym przejawem jest delokalizacja miejsc pracy obserwowana w przestrzeni światowej, kontynentalnej, a także krajowej. Analiza jej uwarunkowań, kierunków i skali służy osiągnięciu celu opracowania.
    The global economy has been evolving continuously. Coincidence of numerous and different determinants leads to changes on the markets. The labour market is one of the markets that has been undergoing significant changes. The aim of the paper is to identify the most important transformations taking place on the demand side of the labour market. The relocation of jobs on a global, continental and national levels is a particular aspect of these transformations. Analysis of conditions, directions and scale of this relocation is a main focus of the paper.

    The history of economic relations between Italy and Albania is a typical example of asymmetric relationship between two countries with geographic proximity but with very different dimensions. The importance of this bond is essential for Albania, as Italy is our greatest economic and trade partner, but also from the Italian perspective these relationships have a greater weight than we might expect given the size of the Albanian economy, due to geographical proximity and preferential relations between the two countries. The relations with Albania are included in the broader context of the Italian policy in the entire Balkan region as these countries transition towards free market economic system is of great importance for the European integration processes. Since 2000, the economic cooperation has grown, but its features (trade balance deficit, restricted investment areas, à façon industries, etc.) still persist. This paper intends to highlight the strengths and drawbacks of Italian – Albanian economic relations in its early stages from 1990 to 2000.

    Aromaticity is one of the most important terms used in organic chemistry. It has been called as a “as a cornerstone of heterocyclic chemistry” or “a theoretical concept of immese practical importance”. The concept, in chemical sense, has been introduced by Friedrich August Kekulé von Stradonitz 150 ago. The paper presents the contribution to its development of many outstanding scientists: Emil Erlenmayer, Albert Ladenburg, Adolf von Baeyer, Victor Meyer, Heinrich Limpricht, Artur Hantzsch, Eugen Bamberger, Richard Willstätter, Ernest Crocker, James W. Armit, Robert Robinson, Erich Hückel, Artur Frost, Boris Musulin, Linus Pauling, Kathleen Lonsdale, Eric Clar, Haruo Hosoya, Henry Edward Armstrong, George W. Wheland, Fritz W. London, John Pople, Paul von Ragué Schleyer and others. Aromaticity is defined on the basis of four main criteria: energetic, geometric, magnetic and reactivity. Two modern definitions of the term are presented in chapter 2 (both are given in English).

    This paper presents some aspects of the process of services, products and manufacturing transfer, with the associated production resources, from other locations and plants to Poland. The study was carried out on the basis of an analysis of publications about delocalization as well as by means of desk research, where there were used the accessible primary and secondary data such as branch reports, statistical data available in reports, data bases, and information accessible on Polish and European websites. The article is also the result of the author's experience of participation in the relocation of a number of international companies, regarding various industries. Delocalization in Poland was presented both from the point of view of Conceptualizing delocalization (literature re-view, theoretical position) and Implementation of production. The delocalization mainly takes advantage of labor forces. On the other hand, it may also concern innovative activities and develop high-tech for regions affected by economic restructuring. The social policies for the risk mitigation of the delocalization of production are also being developed and implemented. This work clarifying the conditions of delocalization in Poland and highlight the important roles played by innovation and institutions for achieving sustainability.

    The article focuses on the relocation of the company’s value chain modules. Relocation is defined as a process of moving some or all of the tasks performed by an economic entity to a vendor operating in the same country or abroad, who is or is not related by ownership structures to the relocating company. In the paper this issue is analyzed from the perspective of company competitiveness. The study discusses an analytical framework, which attempts to explain the mechanism of the influence of value chain module relocations on the company competitiveness. This impact is analyzed from the perspective of factors affecting competitiveness dimensions applied in the article (competitive potential, competitive strategy and competitive position). To maintain the transparency of the framework, the factors have been divided into 5 groups, which are discussed in the subsequent parts of the paper. In the literature a similar, comprehensive analysis is not available, while taking it into account in the relocation decision process is necessary to make a well-founded and economically efficient relocation decision.
    Одной из перемен, вызванных глобализацией, является изменение предприятиями способа конфигурации своих цепей ценностей. Предметный диапазон статьи охватывает делокализацию модулов цепи ценностей предприятия. Делокализация понимается как процесс переноса части или всех задач, осуществляемых данным хозяйствующим субъектом,на другой субъект, действующий в той же стране или зарубежом, который имеет или не имеет общий капитал с предприятием, передающим модул. В статье этот вопрос анализируется с точки зрения конкурентоспособности хозяйствующих субъектов. Автор рассматривает аналитическую схему, которая пытается объяснить механизм влияния делокализации модулов цепи ценностей на конкурентоспособность предприятия. Это влияние анализируется с точки зрения факторов, воздействующих на принятые характеристики конкурентоспособности фирмы (конкурентный потенциал, стратегия конкуренции, конкурентная позиция). Для сохранения прозрачности схемы факторы прямо воздействующие на конкурентоспособность предприятия были разделены на 5 групп, которым посвящены очередные части статьи. В литературе предмета такого рода комплексный анализ недоступен, в то время как его учет в процессе делокализации необходим для принятия сознательного и экономически эффективного решения о релокации.

    Artykuł stanowi próbę odczytania na nowo encykliki społecznej Jana Pawła II Sollicitudo rei socialis w dwadzieścia pięć lat po jej napisaniu. Encyklika ta dotyczy solidarności jako zasady życia społecznego. Korzeniem tej myśli jest powstały w Polsce ruch społeczny NSZZ „Solidarność”, który inspiruje papieża do napisania encykliki o potrzebie globalnej solidarności w kontekście rosnącego podziału świata na bogatą Północ i biedne Południe. Patrząc na powyższy problem z perspektywy dwudziestu pięciu lat, w niniejszym artykule próbujemy odpowiedzieć na pytania: Czy ten rażący podział świata się zwiększa, czy zmniejsza? Czy globalizacja stała się narzędziem solidarności, czy wyzysku? Jak należ, w świetle powyższych problemów widzieć obecny kryzys finansowy dotykający bogaty świat? Artykuł ten jest więc próbą oceny globalizacji od strony etycznej. Pokazuje największe zagrożenie, jakie to zjawisko ze sobą niesie – problem delokalizacji kapitału.
    The article is an attempt to read anew John Paul’s II social encyclical Sollicitudo rei socialis twenty five years after its being written. The Encyclical deals with solidarity as a rule of social life – social virtue. The article shows first the origin of the pope’s thought, who transplants the lay rule of solidarity into the ground of the social teaching of the Church. The root of that thought is the social movement ”NSZZ Solidarity” which sprang into existence in Poland and which inspires the pope to write the encyclical about the global solidarity in the context of the division of the world into the rich North and the poor South. Looking at the above problem from the perspective of twenty five years, the above article tries to answer the question whether that striking division of the world increases or decreases. Has globalization become the tool of solidarity or exploitation? How should we, in the light of the above problems, see the present financial crisis, touching the rich world? That article is then the attempt to evaluate the phenomenon of globalization from the ethical point of view, showing its greatest threat, it carries with itself – the problem of delocalization of the capital.
