Mediation is proving to be an effective way to manage conflicts in a constructive way. But mediation not only helps to solve specific problems, because its potential encompasses aspects of greater complexity. Thus, mediation helps us to know ourselves better, to better understand others, and to use what we have learned to better manage future conflict situations. In a society where there is no culture of agreement and where there is no education in the field of emotions, mediation becomes an adequate and effective tool to resolve conflicts in a peaceful and constructive manner. On the other hand, mediation allows the parties to take responsibility for the resolution of their own conflict, to be active agents in the process. The greater the citizens’ participation in the different decision making processes, the more democratic a society will be. That is why, in the restoration of social peace, citizenship should play a role as an active agent, and mediation is a suitable instrument for this purpose because the individuals in conflict find the way to solve it without third party impositions.

This article contains an analysis of the engaged nature of Zygmunt Bauman’s writings, with particular emphasis on his last works. It focuses on his critical analysis of the rise of nationalism and his alternative vision of a “culture of dialogue.” The text is divided into three parts. The first contrasts Bauman’s fusion of the denotative and conative functions of language with different strategies of engaged anthropology. The next addresses Bauman’s evolving idea of dialogue as a way of deepening understanding between different ways of seeing the world and of working out solutions to social problems. The last part considers Bauman’s idea of developing responsibility for the contemporary condition based on a desire to increase mutual understanding and cooperation (the “culture of dialogue”). The text attempts to assess this strategy of resistance against the contemporary rise of nationalism.
Artykuł poświęcony jest analizie zaangażowanego charakteru twórczości Zygmunta Baumana, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem jego ostatnich prac, skoncentrowanych na krytycznej analizie nacjonalistycznego wzmożenia oraz kreśleniu  alternatywnej dla tego procesu wizji „kultury dialogu”. Tekst został podzielony na trzy części. W pierwszej realizowane przez autora Płynnej nowoczesności zespalanie denotatywnej i konatywnej funkcji języka zostało skonfrontowane ze strategiami podejmowanymi w ramach antropologii zaangażowanej. Kolejna poświęcona jest analizie ewolucji wizji dialogu w twórczości Baumana, jako sposobu na pogłębienie zrozumienia między różnymi sposobami widzenia świata, a zarazem wspólnotowe wypracowywanie rozwiązań dla istniejących problemów. W ostatniej części tekstu analizie poddane zostały rozpoznania socjologa dotyczące potrzeby rozwijania odpowiedzialności za współczesną kondycję, czego wyrazem miałoby być budowanie „kultury dialogu” opartej na dążeniu do pogłębiania wzajemnego porozumienia i współpracy. Tekst zawiera próbę oceny tak rozumianej strategii oporu względem współczesnej sytuacji nacjonalistycznego wzmożenia.

The in-depth analysis of the monograph attracts the reader’s attention to the wealth of the collected material and the multitude of viewpoints, but also points out certain inconsistencies the author failed to avoid which in turn led her to fall into the trap of excessive simplification and orientalisation of China.

The educational reality is nowadays increasingly associated with the philosophy of postmodernity. The new orientation leads researchers to explore new paths – one of them may be the inclusion of popular culture with all its potential, not excluding popular arts, to the educational canon. This text is an attempt to approximate the popular arts as having significant educational potential in reference to the critical pedagogy. I will try to prove that even purely entertaining aspects of culture may have educational content. First of all, I would like to describe a critical orientation in pedagogy; I will present its practical side in relation to the deconstruction of cultural meanings and nally, I will show some consequent implications for relations between culture and education. The next part of my considerations will concern the popular culture as an educational area, with particular emphasis on a game as the source of culture and as an inherent element of popular arts. I will present in detail associations between popular arts and education based on Polish cabaret which I acknowledged as a place, where basic tasks and functions of critical pedagogy can be seen and realized. Finally, I will present some parts of interviews which had been conducted as my researches – these are the respondents’ opinions about cabaret and its interpretation. This part seems to be showing cabaret as a place of discourse, where a critical dialogue between the sender, the content and the recipient of cabaret transmission takes place.

This study begins with a brief outline of the essence of the whole encyclical Caritas in veritate. Benedict XVI expresses the desire for „the dialogue with the world”. He understands this dialogue as a special kind of the service of the Church towards eternal love and truth, fully revealed in Christ. The dialogue of the Church with the world, in the spirit of love and truth, is accomplished every day at the level of so-called official relations. There are numerous opinions that in the past the Church repeatedly neglected the dialogue with the world. Indeed, the Church historians point out the existence of examples of the fall of the authority of the Holy See in particular countries and circumstances. Similarly, the Church is the sign of objection in the contemporary world. Instructed by past experiences the Church is aware that what is necessary for the renewal of culture and society, is evangelical love and truth.

It is currently becoming a challenge of the times to create authentic values in culture, which will allow human beings to save their humanity. There exists a dialectic relationship among values and culture. Values are determined by culture in its origin, content and model of functioning. Culture, on the other hand, is determined by the values that function whithin it. In whatever way we approach the world of values in culture, it is certain that they are objective, because they are rooted in the human world. They complement human beings. The article analyses three pillars of identity (value) of European culture as seen by Card. Ratzinger, namely: law, marriage and family and respect for sanctity. They decide, in a mea-surable manner, about future European identity and consequently about the future of the Old Continent.

Dialog to przejaw właściwych relacji międzyludzkich, jakie powinny charakteryzować nie tylko społeczność, tworzoną przez rodzinę, ale także narody. Jest on drogą do pojednania i budowania więzi. Kojarzy się z małżeństwem, rodziną, stosunkami międzynarodowymi. Ich symbol to wyciągnięte do siebie dłonie lub ręce splecione, zatrzymane w uścisku, ale też zwrócone ku sobie twarze. Wskazują na to demotywatory, dzieła malarskie, eseje, fotografie, myśli, plakaty, płaskorzeźby, przysłowia, wiersze. Tak różne gatunki i formy przekazu, zróżnicowane przez tworzywo i odbiorcę, potwierdzają fakt, że nie tylko słowa uzewnętrzniają dialog i pojednanie. W ich perspektywie i recepcji dialog i pojednanie to we współczesnym świecie wartości właściwie postrzegane i kontekstowo interpretowane jako zawsze konieczne w relacjach człowiek-człowiek. Powinny one być kształcone na gruncie rodziny.
Dialogue is a sign of proper interpersonal relations that should be characteristic not only of family community but also of nations. It constitutes the way to reconciliation and creating bonds. It is associated with marriage, family, international relations. It is symbolized by stretched or entwined hands, stopped in the moment of being shaken, but also faces turned to each other. We can observe it in demotivators, paintings, essays, photographs, thoughts, posters, reliefs, proverbs, poems. Such a wide range of genres and media, different in their substance and their addressee, support the fact that dialogue and reconciliation are not only expressed by words. from their perspective and in their reception, dialogue and reconciliation are properly perceived values, contextually interpreted as always necessary in interpersonal relations in the contemporary world. they should be cultivated in the family environment.

W myśli koreańskiej trudno jest odróżnić religię od filozofii. Filozofia, religia i kultura są synonimami „filozofii życia". Oryginalna filozofia koreańska jest szamanizmem i otrzymała od Chin konfucjanizm, buddyzm i taoizm. W przypadku chrześcijaństwa musimy brać pod uwagę Kościół katolicki, protestancki i prawosławny. Szczególną uwagę musimy zwrócić na teologię koreańską, która jest oparta na tradycji koreańskiej. Szczególną rolę w historii Kościoła katolickiego w Korei odegrali męczennicy koreańscy. Sanguis martyrum, semen christianorum.
The aim of this article is to present the relation between Christianity and Korean culture. The problem here is not the concept of Christianity, but the concept of Koreanculture. In the Korean thought is hard to distinguish between religion and philosophy. Philosophy, religion and culture are synonyms for “philosophy of life”. The original Korean philosophy is Shamanism and received from China Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. In the case of Christianity we have to consider Catholic Church, Protestant Church and Orthodox Church. Special attention we have to pay to the Korean theology, which is based on Korean tradition. Special role in the history of Catholic Church in Korea played Korean martyrs. Sanguis martyrum, semen christianorum.

This article focuses on an extremely urgent problem of today’s christian dialogue with china, i.e. the culture (and politics) of the people’s republic of china (prc) and asks whether a christian dialogue with china – which understand herself as an atheist and communist state, which, however, is a country of many religious traditions, is possible, and if so in what form? What are its prospects and challenges? the starting point of the article, after some historical remarks, is a kind of heterotopy of the dialogue in chinese context, involving (iii.1.) the historical and political context, then (iii.2) its partners, and fnally (iii.3) its forms and contents. in this framework, this article is (iV) refection on the challenges, opportunities and prospects of the christian dialogue with chinese culture. this refection is not taken here from the standpoint of theology, but is rather a phenomenological description of the status quo.At the end of the article (V) some statements of pope John paul ii with regard to the dialogue of christianity with chinese culture are quoted as a kind of summary. The article states a great asymmetry of partners of the dialogue in china caused by the restrictive religious policy. there are some forms of dialogue which, however, are realized outside of the   nstitutionalized christianity, i.e. the christian churches. The churches themselves, due to their historical background, are not very interested in or prepared for an inter-religious dialogue.

In this paper the author discusses the effort to create a new concept of the interaction between a contemporary reader, being a pupil, student or teacher, and literature. Transitional changes to civilisation and culture occurring over the recent decades have had an impact on the situation of literature, which, as the art of speech, has acquired new carriers and has transformed traditional forms of its existence in culture, too. The addressee of literature is going to remain in dialogue with THE OTHER. This form of contact is becoming an absorbing form of dialogue: author – main character – addressee (tutee), as well as other recipients, being auditors. The new philosophy of THE OTHER corroborates the sense of this new modern notion of living up to literature formulated by Michał Paweł Markowski. It also derives from the insight into culture and theory of literature.

The purpose of this article is to highlight the significance of an encounter culture from the standpoint of globalization as a major challenge to modern evangelization. It turns out that the missiological concept of dialogue can act as a catalyst for the transformation and restoration of the dignity of people living on the periphery of modern societies. Dialogue of life and action as one of the tools of evangelization and promotion of good can lead to the formation of structurally stable societies rooted in the Gospel.
Celem artykułu jest ukazanie w perspektywie globalizacji – jako głównego wyzwania dla współczesnej ewangelizacji – znaczenia kultury spotkania. Okazuje się, że misjologiczna koncepcja dialogu może stanowić motor transformacji i przywracania godności ludziom żyjącym na peryferiach współczesnych społeczeństw. Dialog życia i działania jako jedno z narzędzi ewangelizacji i promocji dobra może prowadzić do powstawania strukturalnie stabilnych społeczeństw zakorzenionych w Ewangelii.

Artykuł prezentuje wyniki badań nad sposobem komunikacji w kulturze ubóstwa, które są zawarte w wypowiedziach ludzi skrajnie ubogich, charakteryzujących codzienne interakcje z innymi. Analizowane procesy komunikowania ograniczone są do interakcji w ramach rodziny. Głównymi źródłami analizy prezentowanej w tym artykule są prace O. Lewisa, które stanowią podstawę teoretyczną dotyczącą koncepcji kultury ubóstwa zaproponowaną przez autora, a także Pamiętniki bezrobotnych, których opublikowanie w latach 30.  XX wieku oraz 2003-2006 było odpowiedzią na rozpisane konkursy pamiętnikarskie. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie podobnych sposobów interakcyjnych i komunikacyjnych, które w kulturze ubóstwa charakteryzują się wyizolowaniem społecznym. Przejawem tego jest zaniechanie komunikacji, obranie w relacjach z innymi strategii milczenia. Jednym z zagadnień artykułu jest charakterystyka dyskursu, podejmowania prób porozumiewania z tymi, którzy prezentują przewagę wobec osób słabszych, będących w pozycji podporządkowania.
The article presents the results of research on the way of communication in the culture of poverty, which are included in the statements of extremely poor people, which characterize everyday interactions with others. The analyzed communication processes are limited to interactions within the family. The main sources of the analysis presented in this article are the works of O. Lewis, which constitute the theoretical basis for the concept of the culture of poverty proposed by the author, as well as Diaries of the Unemployed, the publication of which in the 1930s and 2003-2006 was a response to the written diary competitions. The aim of this article is to show similar methods of interaction and communication that are characterized by social isolation in the culture of poverty. It is manifested by abandoning communication and choosing silence strategies in relations with others. Pamięć ludzka, zarówno w swym wymiarze indywidualnym jak i zbiorowym, jest czynnikiem determinującym tożsamość, skoro tożsamość definiuje się jako proces czyjejś refleksji nad przeszłością i przyszłością. Tożsamość jest więc rozwijana w permanentnej interpretacji tak jednostek, jak i społeczeństw swej historii i przyszłości. To dlatego sposób, w jaki przeszłość, z przekazem kultury, struktur społecznych, norm i wartości, jest nam dostępna, waży na naszej tożsamości. Jedną z dróg utrwalania ludzkiej pamięci jest kultura pamięci. Może być ona definiowana jako całość przedsięwzięć, zinstytucjonalizowanych bądź nie, które przyczyniają się do wzmocnienia zarówno zbiorowej, jak i indywidualnej pamięci o przeszłych doświadczeniach, by wykorzystać tę pamięć w planowaniu przyszłości. W świetle tego, jak tożsamość jest definiowana, kultura pamięci musi być odbierana jako silny czynniki procesu kreowania tożsamości. Artykuł omawia sposób, w jaki kultura pamięci jest rozwijana, aby budować wspólną europejską tożsamość. Uznając dialog za fundamentalny instrument współżycia społeczeństw europejskich, artykuł naświetla koncepcję dialogu sformułowaną przez Światową Radę Kościołów. Ekumeniczna teoria dialogu musi być odbierana jako owoc długoletnich doświadczeń Kościołów chrześcijańskich, żyjących w różnorodnych kontekstach, i jako taka – jako ważne narzędzie interpretacji sposobów odsłaniania się pamięci. Ekumeniczna perspektywa może być pomocna w budowie wspólnej europejskiej kultury pamięci.
Human memory, in both individual and collective dimensions, is recognized as an inherent factor of identity since identity is declared to be a process of one’s reflection on his past and his future. Identity is thus developed in the constant interpretation of both individuals and communities on their history and their future. This is why a way of how past with the transfer of culture, social structure, norms and values is available for us, effects on our identity. One of the ways to petrify a human memory is the culture of remembrance. It may be defined as the whole of undertakings, institutionalized or not, that contributes to strengthen both collective and individual memory about past experiences, in order to use these experiences to construct the future. It is embedded in the conviction that every distinctive society or community must build its identity on the one narrative line which encompasses the past, the present and the future. The culture of remembrance thus reveals itself in number of places of memory, monuments, museums, exhibitions, books, films, websites, memorial days, lectures. In light of how identity is defined, culture of remembrance must be seen as a strong factor of identity creating process. Article discusses a way of how culture of remembrance is developed in order to build common European identity. Considering dialogue as an essential instrument of co-existence of European societies, the article displays the concept of dialogue provided by the World Council of Churches. Ecumenical teaching on dialogue must be received as a fruit of the long-term experience of the Christian Churches living in the various contexts, and as such as an useful tool to interpret the ways of how memory is revealed. Ecumenical perspective might be helpful to build the common European culture of remembrance.

The purpose of this article is to present the role and importance of culture of Lublin over several years of effort for the title of European Capital of Culture 2016. In addition, to show the main objectives of the cultural policy of the city. Despite the defeat, Lublin presented the range of cultural values of Eastern Poland. Visually showed the involvement of the city and its citizens in the creation of a new quality in the field of culture. These features have been highlighted in Lublin, which set it apart from most developing economically western cities. University character, openness to other cultures, dialogue, exchange, aspirations—all decide about European dimension of Lublin. The city that managed all the material resources of the cultural space in organizing a number of events, does not give up despite defeat efforts of the above-mentioned title. Year 2017—seven hundredth anniversary of granting civic rights is the year in which all the assumptions of the contest Final Application ECOC 2016 should fulfil. Culture is considered to be the backbone of the development of modern cities. Today, the development provides primarily social capital, that is, the quality of “what is between us.” An important factor in the formation of cultural identity is the attitude of the citizens of the city of Lublin. Students, artists, an increasing number of tourists. Their lives, passions, have an impact on the shape of this place. Lublin is one of the places, that is said to have soul and spirit—genius loci. Old buildings, forgotten alleys—all this affects the quality of perception of the city. A number of cultural events, including held for three years, juggling performance “Karnawał Sztuk-Mistrzów” (“Carnaval of Magicians”—in Polish “Sztuk-Mistrzów” is word game: “of Masters of Arts”), annually attracts thousands of spectators from across the country and artists from abroad. Genius loci old rule still applies. The city must have “something.” It must be original and have the characteristics of authenticity. The article uses analytical and descriptive method.

Opis:
The article focuses on intertextual relationships observed between literature and painting. The visual and linguistic systems comprising these art forms belong to different semiotic codes, which materialise through secondary modelling systems. The modelling systems, in turn, consist of relational signs and are governed by rules allowing for alternative modes of combination. The relational signs are ontologically discrete and, as a result, have a greater connotative than denotative potential. The rules of combination are restricted by literary genres, composition, and a painting perspective that constitute the macrostructure of a text. The aim of the article is to present how languages and visual signs express the same mental operations and establish an intertextual dialogue in a literary and visual text. The premise of the study is the assumption that a word and a picture are equivalent and translatable. Therefore, the grounds for their description should be the composition of signs and its relationship with other texts of culture, not the form that constitutes them

W ten sposób zostaną przybliżone poglądy zwłaszcza ks. Józefa Sadzika i jego wizja teologii kultury, którą wyraził w swoich publikacjach, od doktoratu poświęconego estetyce Heideggera (jednej z pierwszych na świecie na ten temat) po eseje filozoficzno-teologiczne, które zamieścił w tłumaczeniach Cz. Miłosza ksiąg biblijnych, będąc ich inspiratorem.
Reflection on the place of Christianity in the modern world is one of the leading topics of current philosophical debate. It focuses the key issues of theology and develops in a particular way many interesting ecclesiological topics. This article analyzes the theological-philosophical message of the dialogue between Joseph Sadzik SAC, founder of the Centre for Dialogue in Paris - an institution that had enormous importance for Polish intellectual life in exile, including Catholic theology - with Czesław Milosz, the Nobel Prizewinner. The article examines the contribution of Joseph Sadzik in the field of ‘theology of culture’, based on his publications from his doctorate on the aesthetics of Heidegger (one of the first in the world) to his philosophical and theological essays published in Miłosz’s translations of the Bible.

Było obecne w – dramatycznych niekiedy – dziejach tego kontynentu, inicjując wiele pozytywnych przemian, choć chrześcijanie nie zawsze postępowali zgodnie z zasadami swej religii. chrześcijaństwo stanowi najważniejszy element tożsamości europy i jej kultury, choć z czasem dochodziły inne, często chrześcijaństwu odległe. na współczesną kulturę europejską, której tożsamość krystalizuje się, składa się wiele mentalnych tendencji. prądy dalekie chrześcijaństwu nie prowadzą z nim dialogu i nie chcą go, a bliskie – chcą dialogu i go prowadzą. chrześcijaństwo i realizujący je kościół są gotowe do dialogu: zdają sobie sprawę zarówno z jego trudności, jak i konieczności. 
in this article the author tries to resolve the problem of what is the relation (is it a dialogue?) between christianity and the european culture in the past and today. He tries to see it in the light of John paul ii’s teaching in a few steps: the role of christianity in the origin of europe, the role of christianity in the history of europe, the role of christianity in the identity of europe and its culture, and the modern european culture in its relation to christianity. christianity has created europe and the culture (and ethos) of dialogue. christianity was present in – sometimes tragic – history of europe motivating many positive changes, although christians were not always following the principles of their religion. christianity is the most important element of the europe’s identity and culture, although during its history some other elements, far from christianity, appeared. Modern european culture, which is still in a process of building its identity, consists of many tendencies – far or close to christianity. far from it do not dialogue with it, but close to it – do so. christianity and the church, who represents it,is ready to the dialogue, although she is aware of its diffculties and necessity.

Nowe media w dobie globalizacji stworzyły możliwość niespotykanej dotąd komunikacji i dostępu do informacji. Stąd tak ważne jest zwrócenie uwagi na nowe zjawisko „kultury budowania na nieufności”. Raport „2017 Edelman Trust Barometer” przedstawia niepokojące wyniki badań dotyczące poziomu zaufania reprezentantów dwudziestu ośmiu krajów na świecie, wobec czterech typów instytucji: rządowych, pozarządowych, biznesowych oraz wobec mediów. Badania pokazują drastyczny spadek zaufania do mediów, w tym także do nowych mediów. Analiza owego zjawiska może dać szansę na odwrócenie niekorzystnych społecznie trendów, które często są utrwalane i wspierane przez media. Wydaje się, że tylko zmiana modelu integracyjnego może przywrócić zaufanie jednostek, a także społeczeństw do najważniejszych instytucji.
New media in global world has created possibility to total communication. It has a great importance in the ‘culture of building the distrust’. The irresponsible usage of mechanism and tools to communication and information deepens difficulties in trust and dialogue. Also social inequalities and aggressive politics deepens the distrust. ‘2017 Edelman Trust Barometer’ indicates there is high level of distrust of: government institutions, non-governmental institutions, media and business. Media should go over revolution leads to new model of communication, based on objective information and trust. But it can only be achieved by a change in the model of integration.

The article is an explication of the concept of evaluation as a key element of consensual humanistic education. The evaluation is defined as a systematic recognition of the process of changes – at the individual and group level – and a key element of the decision-making process. The functions of the evaluation are: improvement of ongoing activities, promotion of social competences and strengthening of positive relations in the group, building a sense of security, consolidating the effects of cooperation, indicating the usefulness of the acquired knowledge. Next, the author briefly discusses the successive stages of the consensual decision-making process and the evaluation questions that are relevant to them. She presents the so-called “evaluation matrix”, taking into account – in addition to the already mentioned elements – evaluation criteria (adequacy, safety, level of participation, durability of knowledge, skills and attitudes, affective work), key for each stage of the question, satisfaction indicators and examples of tools to achieve the goal. The text closes a detailed description of these evaluation tools.
Artykuł stanowi eksplikację koncepcji ewaluacji jako kluczowego elementu konsensualnego kształcenia humanistycznego. Została ona zdefiniowana jako systematyczne rozpoznawanie procesu zmian zachodzących na poziomie jednostki i grupy oraz kluczowy element procesu decyzyjnego. Funkcje tak rozumianej ewaluacji to: usprawnianie aktualnie trwających działań, promowanie kompetencji społecznych i wzmacnianie pozytywnych relacji w grupie, budowanie poczucia bezpieczeństwa, utrwalanie efektów współpracy, wskazywanie na użyteczność przyswajanej wiedzy. W sposób skrótowy zostały omówione kolejne etapy procesu konsensualnego podejmowania decyzji oraz adekwatne dla nich pytania ewaluacyjne. Zaprezentowano tzw. matrycę ewaluacji, uwzględniającą – oprócz wspomnianych już elementów – kryteria ewaluacji (adekwatność, bezpieczeństwo, poziom partycypacji, trwałość wiedzy, umiejętności i postaw, pracę afektywną), kluczowe dla każdego etapu pytania, wskaźniki satysfakcji oraz przykładowe narzędzia służące do realizacji celu. Tekst zamyka szczegółowy opis wspomnianych narzędzi ewaluacyjnych.

Celem artykułu jest prześledzenie warunków koniecznego dziś otwarcia procesów edukacyjnych na integrację z zewnątrz, która modyfikuje znaczenie poczucia tożsamości wspólnotowej. Procesy te dotyczą zachowań społecznych w określonych przestrzeniach symbolicznych świata wielokulturowego i obejmują: postawę szacunku dla wartości społeczno-politycznych, akceptację praw i obowiązków jednostki wobec państwa oraz organizacji międzynarodowych oraz zasad odpowiedzialnego współżycia społecznego. Potrzeba nauki życia w świecie pełnym różnic sprawia, że wychowanie międzykulturowe na każdym etapie kształcenia musi zająć miejsce ważne pośród zadań edukacyjnych szkoły, także szkoły wyższej. Argumentacja wpisana została w dyskurs nad istotą tożsamości inkluzywnej, zorientowanej w najnowszych badaniach regionalistycznych i podkreśla zagadnienia tolerancji, akceptacji Innego, dialogu międzykulturowego. Formułuje się również warunki wprowadzenia różnicy kulturowej do „własnego myślenia”. Autorka artykułu przedstawia praktyczne możliwości wykorzystywania na lejcach w szkole podstawowej i średniej literatury z kręgu kulturowych zderzeń. Ukierunkowanie na komparacje – porównywanie tekstów literackich (i zjawisk) z różnych obszarów kulturowych, dotyczą możliwych na lekcja polskiego przykładów malarstwa, rzeźby, architektury czy muzyki, Taka nauka prowadzi uczniów przez różne obszary graniczne czy sfery „pomiędzy” i dzięki temu może służyć kreatywnemu myśleniu o kulturze swojej i innych. Idee międzykulturowe jako integralny składnik wychowania kulturowego współczesnego ucznia każdego poziomu edukacji nie ma bowiem dzisiaj alternatywy.
The aim of the article is to examine the conditions of educational processes which need to be opened for external integration which greatly modifies the sense of community identity. These processes concern the social behaviour in certain symbolic spaces of multicultural world, and they include one’s respect towards social and political values, acceptance of laws and duties of single people towards a nation and international organisations, as well as the rules of responsible social coexistence. The need to learn how to live in the world of diversity causes that intercultural education needs to be seen as an important educational aim of any type of school. The author’s arguments include the discourse on the essence of inclusive identity, the current research on regionalism; the arguments highlight the notion of tolerance, the acceptance of the Other, and the intercultural dialogue. The author establishes the conditions of introducing cultural difference into “one’s own thinking”. She also demonstrates practical opportunities of making use of literature of cultural encounters in primary and high schools. Comparative approach – comparing literary texts and phenomena taken from various cultural spheres – includes examples from painting, sculpture, architecture and music. Such method guides the students and takes them through various areas or spheres “in between”; as a result, the method may facilitate creative thinking about one’s culture and that of the others. Intercultural ideas are an integral element of cultural education of contemporary students of all levels of education; so far there has been no alternative to them.

Interpersonal conflicts arising between children are not only difficult for children themselves, but also for teachers responsible for conducting educational and didactic activities with children. Empirical studies (based on the diagnostic survey method: interviews with children, questionnaires for teachers) conducted among one hundred preschool teachers working with six-year-olds, and among one hundred preschoolers, have revealed that a considerable percentage of the surveyed teachers underestimate the importance of children’s conflict situations in their educational activities. The teachers are mostly unaware of the developmental dimension of conflicts, and they emphasise mainly the negative impact of such situations on children (46%), often punishing their pupils – as claimed by six-year-olds – for becoming engaged in a dispute (48%). The teachers also fail, to a significant extent, to reflect upon incidents of conflict, be it reflection upon the situation in the course of action or reflection upon the action with the benefit of hindsight. Results obtained in the studies demonstrate that the teachers do not show their pupils what a constructive dispute is about, and do not teach them any ways to resolve a conflict situation in an integrative manner – in cooperation with other interaction partners. They also fail to explain the meaning of dialogue in the conflict process to children, despite claiming to do so (81%). The findings may imply that although teachers know which constructive procedures should be used in situations of conflict between children, they do not put their knowledge into practice because, e.g., they are not competent enough to do so.

Opis:
The article deals with the problem of the use of dialogue technologies in the formation of management culture of the head of an educational institution. It is noted that managerial culture as a component of the professional activity of the head of an educational institution is characterized by peculiarities of awareness of the behavior and activities of people in the organization and is an element of the culture of work, culture of professional activity. It is noted that in high school dialogue technologies that allow in a special way to demonstrate the moral meaning and the meaning of values and provide the basis for their deep consideration are actual. It was emphasized that the dialogue technology includes a sequence of stages that allow to realize the main tasks of the dialogue: a deep analysis of the problem, understanding of its value-semantic and moral content, development of dialogue culture. An intellectual dialogue (deep understanding of the essence of the problem, a high level of moral culture of dialogue interaction); intellectual-based dialogue (involves participants in the search for value meanings, in the process of identifying the system of individual value orientations), reflexive dialogue (allows you to evaluate your own potential and define lines of feedback participants – the leader), motivational dialogue (revealing of interest both to the problem and to the dialogue technology itself), self-actualizing dialogue (appointment – full presentation itself) and others have been marked out. The education of the head of the educational institution in the atmosphere of dialogue and cooperation is much more effective, since the dialogue provides equal conditions for all participants in the educational process, and spiritually-oriented communication contributes to the development of the individual and the realization of the potential of not only students, future leaders of educational institutions, but also of a teacher. It is concluded that the features of the dialogue lead to its definition as a technique of a deep and adequate understanding of the personality, assistance in solving psychological problems, stimulation of the desired changes. The dialogue technologies are aimed at creating conditions for the individual to learn the cultural experience, moral guidelines, social norms of the past and the present; for the formation and development of social qualities of the individual, which will promote professional development, for self-determination and self-actualization of the individual.
W artykule rozpatrzono problem wykorzystania technologii dialogowych przy kształtowaniu kultury zarządzania kierownika oświatowej placówki. Kulturę zarządzania jako część działalności zawodowej kierownika w placówce oświatowej charakteryzuje świadomość zachowania oraz działalność ludzi w organizacji. Ważny jest też element kultury pracy oraz element kultury działalności zawodowej. Zauważono, że w szkole wyższej aktualne są technologie dialogowe, które umożliwiają prezentację moralnego sensu i znaczenia walorów oraz tworzą podstawę ich głębokiej analizy. Podkreśla się, że technologia dialogowa przewiduje kolejność etapów, które umożliwiają zrealizowanie głównych zadań dialogu. Są to: głęboka analiza problemu, pojmowanie jego sensu i moralnej treści, rozwój dialogowej kultury. Wyodrębniono: dialog duchowy, dialog refleksywny, dialog motywujący oraz dialog samorealizujący. Sformułowano wniosek, iż cechy dialogu pozwalają na definiowanie go jako: cennej techniki poznawania i rozumienia drugiego człowieka; techniki udzielania pomocy przy rozwiązywaniu problemów psychologicznych oraz stymulowania chęci zmian. Technologie dialogowe są powołane do tego by stworzyć warunki niezbędne dla przyswojenia przez osobę kulturalnego doświadczenia, moralnych wzorców, społecznych norm przeszłości i teraźniejszości oraz dla stanowienia i rozwoju społecznych cech człowieka, które sprzyjają zawodowemu doskonaleniu, samostanowieniu i samorealizacji osobowości.

The author of the article focuses also on Belarusian-Polish projects in the field of culture and art as a basis for the development of good and stable relations.
Artykuł przedstawia pewne tendencje rozwoju współczesnej kultury artystycznej w Brześciu w kontekście białorusko-polskich stosunków kulturalnych, identyfikuje obecne czynniki promujące aktywne działania międzykulturowe i podkreśla wspólne białorusko-polskie projekty w dziedzinie kultury i sztuki jako podstawy rozwoju stabilnych stosunków dobrosąsiedzkich.
