Opis:: The article presents a stability assessment method of the mobile crane handling system based on the safety indicator values that were accepted as the trajectory optimization criterion. With the use of the mathematical model built and the model built in the integrated CAD/CAE environment, analyses were conducted of the displacements of the mass centre of the crane system, reactions of the outrigger system, stabilizing and overturning torques that act on the crane as well as the safety indicator values for the given movement trajectories of the crane working elements.

Opis:: The article presents stability assessment of the mobile crane handling system based on the developed method with the use of the mathematical model built and the model built in the integrated CAD/CAE environment. The model proposed consists of the main crane assemblies coupled together: the truck with outrigger system and the base, the slewing column, the inner and outer arms, the six-member telescopic boom, the hook with lifting sling and the transported load. Analyses were conducted of the displacements of the mass centre of the crane system, reactions of the outrigger system, stabilizing and overturning torques that act on the crane as well as the safety indicator values for the given movement trajectories of the crane working elements.

Opis:: The lifting capacity of a crawler crane is limited by its stability and structural strength. This paper analyzes the stability factor by calculating tipping loads at various load radii for a particular boom length. It shows that the tipping load decreases with an increase in the load radius. A new structural frame is proposed to extend out the superstructure counterweight of the crane. With such a proposed arrangement, it is shown that the lifting capacity of the crane, limited by stability, increases. Static structural analysis of the proposed structural frame is performed using ANSYS workbench software.

Opis:: W artykule omówiono różnice pomiędzy żurawiami samojezdnymi i przenośnymi, które należy uwzględniać w trakcie przeprowadzania obliczeń stateczności. Omówiono pojęcie konturu i krawędzi wywrotu. Pokazano możliwość kształtowania tego ostatniego w przypadku żurawi przenośnych poprzez możliwe stosowanie podpór dodatkowych. Na przykładzie konkretnych rozwiązań technicznych wykazano szerokie możliwości zapewnienia operatorom tych ostatnich warunków bezpiecznej pracy. Wskazano na rolę obliczeń wykonywanych przez firmy wykonujące zabudowy na w spełnieniu wymagań bezpieczeństwa, wynikające z odpowiednich norm.
The article discusses the differences between mobile cranes and truck cranes, which should be considered when conducting stability calculations. Explains the contour`s concept and the edge of tipping. It presents the possibility of formation of the latter in the case of truck cranes by possible use of additional supports. For example, specific technical solutions are demonstrated which are a few of the ample of opportunities to provide operators with the conditions of safe operation. Paper is emphasizing the role of the calculations which has to be performed by the assembling company in order to meet the safety requirements resulting from the relevant standards.

Opis:: W pracy zaprezentowano model matematyczny układu sterowania ruchami roboczymi żurawia teleskopowego umożliwiający badanie jego stateczności. Badano wpływ stosowanych strategii sterowania ruchem obrotowym na wartości reakcji w podporach żurawia oraz przemieszczenia ładunku w trakcie oraz po zakończeniu ruchu.
The mathematical model of control of working motions of a mobile crane which can be used for checking the crane stability, is described in the paper. The admissible static loads of crane model have been determinated. In the paper, results of research of slewing motion for conditions of thread of loss stability have been presented. The influence of the assumed strategies of the controlling of the slewing motion and the crane luffing on the values of reactions in the crane support system was investi- gated. The displacements of payload during the motions' realisation and after ending of the motions were calculated.
