This paper demonstrates a low-profile, wide-band, two-element, frequency-reconfigurable MIMO antenna that is suitable for diverse wireless applications of 4G and 5G such as WLAN/Bluetooth (2.4–2.5 GHz), WLAN (2.4–2.484 GHz, 5.15– 5.35 GHz, and 5.725–5.825 GHz), WiMAX (3.3–3.69 GHz and 5.25–5.85 GHz), Sub6GHz band proposed for 5G (3.4–3.6 GHz, 3.6-3.8GHz and 4.4–4.99 GHz), INSAT and satellite X-band(6 to 9.6 GHz). Proposed MIMO favour effortless switching between multiple bands ranging from 2.2 to 9.4 GHz without causing any interference. Both antenna elements in a MIMO array are made up of a single module comprised of a slot-loaded patch and a defective structured ground. Two PIN diodes are placed in the preset position of the ground defect to achieve frequencyreconfigurable qualities. The suggested MIMO antenna has a size of 62 ×25 ×1.5 mm3. Previous reconfigurable MIMO designs improved isolation using a meander line resonator, faulty ground structures, or self-isolation approaches. To attain the isolation requirements of modern devices, stub approach is introduced in proposed design. Without use of stub, simulated isolation is 15dB. The addition of a stub improved isolation even more. At six resonances, measured isolation is greater than 18 dB, the computed correlation coefficient is below 0.0065, and diversity gain is over 9.8 dB.

Robots are becoming part of people’s everyday surroundings. Therefore, the formation and change of people’s attitude towards objects equipped with artificial intelligence is becoming an important subject of reflection. Substantial research has already been conducted, but few predictions have been made about the future relationship between humanity and autonomous, multi-tasking and highly advanced artificial intelligence. The purpose of this article is an attempt at extrapolating the evolution of the human-robot bond so far, from alienation and a sense of threat toward tameness, affection and even―perhaps―friendship. The study of the evolution of the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence makes it also possible to deepen our understanding of who human beings are, what their needs, expectations, and hopes are, and which of them can be realized through close cooperation between humans and artificial intelligence.
Roboty stają się częścią codziennego otoczenia człowieka. Dlatego ważnym przedmiotem refleksji staje się kształtowanie i zmiana stosunku ludzi do obiektów wyposażonych w sztuczną inteligencję. Przeprowadzono już wiele badań, lecz nieliczne są prognozy dotyczące przyszłych relacji między ludzkością a autonomiczną, wielozadaniową i wysoko zaawansowaną sztuczną inteligencją. Celem artykułu jest próba ekstrapolacji dotychczasowej ewolucji więzi człowiek – robot, od obcości i poczucia zagrożenia w stronę oswojenia, sympatii, a nawet – być może przyjaźni. Badanie ewolucji stosunku człowieka do sztucznej inteligencji pozwala również pogłębić wiedzę o tym, kim jest istota ludzka, jakie są jej potrzeby, oczekiwania i nadzieje oraz które z nich mogą zostać zrealizowane dzięki bliskiej współpracy między człowiekiem a sztuczną inteligencją.

This article provides a comparison of various wireless data transmission protocols, such as Wireless M-Bus, Lo- RaWAN, Sigfox, NB-IoT and a newly developed proprietary protocol, studying their performance in the application of batterypowered residential water meters. Key aspects of the comparison include energy consumption, which is analyzed through comparing unitary amount of charge required to conduct a single, bidirectional data transaction between the meter and base station, and maximum coupling loss which effectively defines the range and coverage in the system. For completeness, the study includes also a brief cost analysis and ends with a conclusion, stating when each of the particular standards should be favored.

Research on improving the performance of microstrip antennas is continuously developing the following technology; this is due to its light dimensions, cheap and easy fabrication, and performance that is not inferior to other dimension antennas. Especially in telecommunications, microstrip antennas are constantly being studied to increase bandwidth and gain according to current cellular technology. Based on the problem of antenna performance limitations, optimization research is always carried out to increase the gain to become the antenna standard required by 5G applications. This research aims to increase the gain by designing a 5-element microstrip planar array antenna arrangement at a uniform distance (lamda/2) with edge weights at a frequency of 2.6 GHz, Through the 1x5 antenna design with parasitic patch, without parasitic, and using proximity coupling.This study hypothesizes that by designing an N-element microstrip planar array antenna arrangement at uniform spacing (lamda/2) with edge weights, a multi-beam radiation pattern character will be obtained so that to increase gain, parasitic patches contribute to antenna performance. This research contributes to improving the main lobe to increase the gain performance of the 1x5 planar array antenna. Based on the simulation results of a 1x5 microstrip planar array antenna using a parasitic patch and edge weighting, a gain value of 7.34 dB is obtained; without a parasitic patch, a gain value of 7.03 dB is received, using a parasitic patch and proximity coupling, a gain value of 2.29 dB is obtained. The antenna configuration with the addition of a parasitic patch, even though it is only supplied at the end (edge weighting), is enough to contribute to the parameters impedance, return loss, VSWR, and total gain based on the resulting antenna radiation pattern. The performance of the 1x5 microstrip planar array antenna with parasitic patch and double substrate (proximity coupling), which is expected to contribute even more to the gain side and antenna performance, has yet to be achieved. The 1x5 planar array antenna design meets the 5G gain requirement of 6 dB.

This work suggests a brand-new 1*4 two-dimensional demultiplexer design based on multicore photonic crystal fiber. Numerical models show that the optical signals can be separated in a photonic crystal fiber construction using optical signals with wavelengths of 0.85, 1.1, 1.19, and 1.35 μm injected on the center core and separated into four cores. The innovative design switches different air-hole positions using pure silica layers throughout the length of the fiber to regulate the direction of light transmission between layers. Wavelength demultiplexers are essential parts of optical systemic communications. They serve as a data distributor and can use a single input to produce multiple outputs. The background material is frequently natural silica, and air holes can be found anywhere throughout the length of the fiber as the low-index components. The simulation results showed that after a 6 mm light propagation, the four-channel demux can start to demultiplex.

In the context of China’s new infrastructure construction developing rapidly, this paper explores the sustainable new infrastructure green development pattern. We establish qualitative and quantitative indicators for green technology innovation (GTI) at both the societal macro level and enterprise micro level, capturing the multidimensional nature of China’s green innovation dynamic. Additionally, we create an indicator system for China’s new infrastructure investment intensity (NTI) across three areas: information infrastructure, integration infrastructure, and innovation infra-structure. Using provincial panel data from 2010 to 2020, we construct a coupling coordination degree model (CCDM) to examine the level of coordination between NTI and GTI. Our findings reveal that: the degree of coordination between NTI and GTI follows a U-shaped curve, with both subsystems remaining far from highly coordinated during rapid development; the coupling level of NTI and GTI in China is currently at a near dissonance level overall; the degree of coupling and coordination between NTI and GTI is mainly influenced by policies, and the coupling level is higher on the enterprise side than on the societal side; the two parameters (α-NTI and β-GTI) widely used in prior studies have less of an effect on the coordinated coupling system than other factors considered herein.

Research background: Although agricultural competitiveness is not a new topic, it is worth noting that it has recently come back to the attention of researchers due to various factors such as climate change, food security, price uncertainty, or structural transformation. Consequently, a growing number of articles have emerged on this subject, leading to shifts in overarching research trends and the structure of research within this domain. Purpose of the article: This study aims to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the research constituents within the field of agricultural competitiveness. Additionally, it seeks to unveil the intellectual and cognitive frameworks spanning the years 1990 to 2022. This exploration will enable the identification of thematic clusters that both shape and guide the field, shedding light on current research trends. Methods: This research employs bibliometric analysis, specifically employing performance analysis and science mapping techniques like bibliographic coupling and co-word analyses. These tools are harnessed to scrutinize the constituents of research and the underlying intellectual and cognitive structures inherent to the agricultural competitiveness field. A dataset of 622 articles from the Web of Science database was subjected to analysis using the VOSviewer software. Findings & value added: The findings prominently illustrate a notable surge in research activity within this domain, with a substantial proportion of articles originating from the United States. The study further identifies six distinct research topics within agricultural competitiveness: (1) energy efficiency and bioenergy, (2) price fluctuation, uncertainty, and market behavior, (3) structural transformation of agriculture, (4) rural development, (5) policy issues, and (6) climate change. Moreover, the research offers insights into potential future research avenues. The uniqueness and value of this work stem from its pioneering approach, being the first to synthesize agricultural competitiveness research through an amalgamation of bibliometric techniques. Furthermore, the study contributes substantially to the theoretical advancement of agricultural competitiveness research.

The main objective of this study is to investigate pad stiffness effects on the instability of a nonlinear brake squeal model. Hence, a nonlinear mathematical model is developed. The nonlinear model is linearized to check the system stability through complex eigenvalue analysis. The results of linear stability analyses are compared to the numerical solution of the nonlinear model, and it is observed that the dynamic behavior predicted by the linear stability analysis is in accordance with the numerical solutions. Though, a discrepancy may occur at the predicted squeal frequencies with both approaches, especially at high pad stiffness levels.

In this publication the effect of the operating temperature on the effective inductance of a controllable inductor is analysed. The main difference compared to a coil with a simple single core lies in the current-controlled inductance-value. This is achieved by a second core implemented perpendicular upon the load-toroid affecting the saturation within a limited shared volume. Corresponding to the presented analysis, the dependencies on the core temperatures are investigated by measurements.

The article describes in an accessible, conceptual way various types of relativistic effects, which are an important part of modern chemical education, practically absent in textbooks, however allowing for a better understanding of the properties of chemical elements and their compounds. This description was preceded by a concise non-relativistic characterization of electrons in multi-electron atoms, in terms of radial probability densities, in order to explain the dependence of electron energies on the principal (n) and orbital (l) quantum numbers. The results of recent quantum chemical calculations are discussed, which show the improved energy sequence of ns and (n-1)d orbitals in transition elements and explain the electron configurations of both neutral atoms and cations of the 3d and 4d block elements. The description of the relativistic effects begins with early Dirac concept of spin-orbit coupling as causing the splitting of the degenerate p, d and f orbitals for two sets of spinors. The role of this splitting in the stability of the respective oxidation states of the cations is discussed. Another important type of relativistic effects, confirmed only in the 1970s, operates in atoms of high nuclear charge (starting from 6. period) in which electrons move at a speed close to the speed of light. The resulting relativistic increase in the mass of the moving electron causes the stabilization of s and p orbitals, and destabilization of d and f orbitals. Representative examples of the influence of all relativistic effects on the properties of elements and their compounds are given (including mercury liquidity or the color of gold). In particular, relativistic effects specific for blocks 5d, 6p, 4f, 5f, 6d, and 7p were discussed. The possibilities of predicting further expansion of the periodic table with elements up to the atomic number of about 170 are outlined, based on taking into account both the relativistic effects for electrons and the stability of superheavy atomic nuclei. The article is addressed to chemists of all branches of this discipline.

This paper deals with the issue of isotropic heat conduction in thermomechanical largestrain problems. The aim of the paper is a comparison of different variants of Fourier’s law used in the literature for a large strain problem. In particular, Fourier’s law is specified either in the reference or in the deformed configuration by using different options of heat flux density vectors which are presented and discussed. The paper includes working examples to illustrate the presented theory. Moreover, different formulations of Fourier’s law are tested by using the finite element method to investigate the influence of the applied variant on simulation results. The analysis reveals that in a strongly deformed area the temperature distribution varies.

The harsh environmental loads may lead to strength failure in the turbine in an aero-engine. To accurately assess the strength reliability of the turbine under multiple loads, the stress distributions of 41 danger sites of a turbine under thermal, centrifugal, and pneumatic loads were determined by the flow-thermal-solid coupling analysis using ANSYS. Second, based on the flow-thermal-solid coupling analysis and response surface method, the probabilistic analysis model of stress at the danger site was established. And the probabilistic distribution of stress was determined by sampling and hypothesis testing. Finally, the reliability model of the turbine with multi-site damage and failure dependency was established, by which a reliability of 0.99802 was calculated. And the actual reliability of the turbine was 0.99626 determined by the Monte Carlo simulations, which verified the model in precision. The results indicated that the reliability model has a high efficiency and higher precision than the traditional reliability model with failure independence.

Opis:
Modeling and numerical analysis of the design of building structures, their technology, organization and management methods of construction processes are the subject of the work of many scientists in Poland. Schedule designers try to best reflect the reality of construction projects with the available methods, although this procedure is not always successful. One of the scheduling methods is the Time Coupling Methods (TCM), which can be refined using the predictive durations of the Multivariate Method of Statistical Models (MMSM) construction processes and standard deviations. A new scheduling method in the probabilistic approach was developed - Probabilistic Time Couplings Method I (PTCM I). At PTCM I, work is organized in such a way as to maintain the continuity of work of employees, as downtime of workers is disadvantageous and costly. The total duration of the new investment was forecasted and compared with the other methods of scheduling and with real time after its completion. The results clearly show that the developed methodology can be successfully used in scheduling construction works.
Modelowanie i analiza numeryczna projektowania konstrukcji budowlanych, ich technologii, organizacji i metod zarządzania procesami budowlanymi są przedmiotem pracy wielu naukowców w Polsce. Projektanci harmonogramów starają się jak najlepiej odzwierciedlić realia projektów budowlanych dostępnymi metodami, choć procedura ta nie zawsze jest skuteczna. Jedną z metod planowania jest metoda Time Coupling Methods (TCM), którą można udoskonalić za pomocą predykcyjnych czasów trwania procesów konstrukcji wielowymiarowej metody modeli statystycznych (MMSM) i odchyleń standardowych. Opracowano nową metodę szeregowania w podejściu probabilistycznym - Probabilistic Time Couplings Method I (PTCM I). W PTCM I praca jest zorganizowana w taki sposób, aby zachować ciągłość pracy pracowników, gdyż przestoje pracowników są niekorzystne i kosztowne. Prognozowano łączny czas trwania nowej inwestycji i porównano ją z innymi metodami harmonogramowania oraz z czasem rzeczywistym po jej zakończeniu. Wyniki jednoznacznie pokazują, że opracowaną metodykę można z powodzeniem zastosować w harmonogramowaniu robót budowlanych.

Opis:
The power injection method (PIM) is an experimental method used to identify the statistical energy analysis (SEA) parameters (called loss factors – LFs) of a vibroacoustic system. By definition, LFs are positive real numbers. However, it is not uncommon to obtain negative LFs during experiments, which is considered a measurement error. To date, a recently proposed method, called Monte Carlo filtering (MCF), of correcting negative coupling loss factors (CLFs) has been validated for systems that meet SEA assumptions. In this article, MCF was validated for point connections and in conditions where SEA assumptions are not met (systems with low modal overlap, non-conservative junctions, strong coupling). The effect of removing MCF bias on the results was also examined. During the experiments, it was observed that the bias is inversely proportional to the damping loss factor of the examined subsystems. The obtained results confirm that the PIM, combined with MCF, allows to determine non-negative SEA parameters in all considered cases.

Opis:
The pin clearance is a significant factor affecting the bearing capacity of the hydraulic support, but the effect of the pin clearance is often neglected in the current studies. Therefore, on the basis of considering the Equal stiffness spring damping system of the column, the dynamic simulation model of the hydraulic support without clearance was constructed to study the static bearing capacity of the hydraulic support. Moreover, as per the contact model of the connectingpin clearance, the dynamic simulation model of the single-pin clearance hydraulic support was established. The effect of single pin clearance on the load of the front and rear columns of the hydraulic support and the transmission force at key bearing points was analyzed. Meanwhile, the influence of single pin clearance at different positions on the bearing capacity of the hydraulic support was compared. Through the design of orthogonal test, the change of the transmission force of the bearing points under the coupling of multi-pin clearance was studied.
