The article presents essential elements of the building energy performance determined according to the methodology of the Regulation [1] and by means of computer simulation of mass and energy exchange taking place in the building. The differences in the results obtained in both approaches are shown. The role of the analysis in the overall process calibration of the calculation model is indicated.

Introduction
Opis:
The development of new technologies has contributed to the creation of new tools which enable disabled persons to communicate with their surroundings, including use of internet network resources and education. Nowadays, when so many people have moved their activity, including their professional activity, into the network environment, even people with limited mobility and speech can function actively in society. Applications, which coupled with equipment recording eye movement may provide an aid to improving computer skills, are presented and compared in the paper. Solutions that do not require large financial resources are presented. These are shown to be very valuable, and this has been demonstrated by performance tests and a usability assessment of particular configurations formulated by a user unable to speak and diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy since the birth. Rozwój nowych technologii przyczynił się do powstania nowych narzędzi, które umożliwiają osobom niepełnosprawnym komunikację z otoczeniem, w tym korzystanie z zasobów sieci internetowej oraz edukację. W dzisiejszych czasach, kiedy tak wiele osób przeniosło swoją aktywność, w tym zawodową, do środowiska sieciowego, nawet osoby z ograniczoną sprawnością ruchową i mową mogą aktywnie funkcjonować w społeczeństwie. W artykule przedstawiono i porównano aplikacje, które w połączeniu z urządzeniami rejestrującymi ruch gałek ocznych mogą stanowić pomoc w doskonaleniu umiejętności obsługi komputera. Przedstawiono rozwiązania, które nie wymagają dużych nakładów finansowych. Wykazano, że są one bardzo wartościowe, a świadczą o tym testy wydajnościowe oraz ocena użyteczności poszczególnych konfiguracji sformułowanych przez użytkownika niemogącego mówić i zdiagnozowanego od urodzenia z czterokończynowym porażeniem mózgowym. Informacje zawarte w artykule mogą być wykorzystane przez osoby, które chcą umożliwić swoim podopiecznym samodzielną komunikację przy niewielkich nakładach finansowych.

This paper presents an analysis of selected examples of the use of graphic applications software designed for professional use within various areas of human activity, and also focusses on the potential for further development of this software. Graphic applications software that makes use of motion capture, performance capture, time-lapse, morphing, Augmented Reality and the use of avatars in human-computer communication has become increasingly popular, cheap and simple.

The article presents innovative research – with the use of digital technologies – in the field of vocal interpretation of poetic texts – three poems by Czesław Miłosz, translated into Russian, to which Aleksandra Masłowska-Smirnova from Kaliningrad, a composer of the young generation, composed music, defining the genre of the composition as romances. The romances were composed for a specific person, Fr. Zbigniew Stępniak with a rare basso profondo voice. Due to the significant scale of performance difficulties, compositions based on the poems of Cz. Miłosz became the subject of an experiment aimed at facilitating the execution process. The aim of the article was to describe an innovative experiment carried out during a scientific internship at the Studio für Stimmforschung at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden and to professionally interpret the results of the research. The author shares his own experiences, which young performers of compositions based on emotionally saturated poetic texts will be able to use. The remarks on translation devices included in the text were related to the purpose of poetic texts for writing compositions and solo performances.

Cel: Celem artykułu jest próba odpowiedzi na pytania: Jak powstała inżynieria bezpieczeństwa pożarowego na świecie? Czy w Polsce możemy już mówić o inżynierii pożarowej jako oficjalnym podejściu projektowym i jednocześnie dziedzinie nauki? Jakie są procedury postępowania przy projektowaniu zabezpieczeń przeciwpożarowych w oparciu o wyznaczone cele funkcjonalne i czym się różnią od tradycyjnego podejścia nakazowego? Kto powinien mieć uprawnienia do stosowania w procesie projektowym narzędzi inżynierii bezpieczeństwa pożarowego i jakie narzędzia są do tego najwłaściwsze? Wprowadzenie: W ostatnich latach na całym świecie zauważono narastający problem braku wystarczających kwalifikacji wśród osób zajmujących się inżynierią bezpieczeństwa pożarowego. Zaledwie nieliczne kraje (takie jak m.in. USA, Wielka Brytania, Nowa Zelandia, Włochy) prowadzą dydaktykę w tym zakresie na uczelniach wyższych. Rozwój tej dziedziny nauki jest bardzo dynamiczny. Wciąż powstają kolejne wytyczne i przepisy regulujące zasady stosowania narzędzi inżynierii pożarowej. W Polsce już od około 14 lat praktykowane jest projektowanie wentylacji pożarowej w oparciu o sformułowane dla niej cele funkcjonalne i powoli metoda ta rozszerza się na inne systemy zabezpieczeń. Od kilku lat oczekują na wdrożenie nowoczesne dwustopniowe przepisy techniczno-budowlane. Przy projektowaniu powszechnie stosowane są symulacje komputerowe CFD i są one traktowane jako jedyne narzędzie inżynierskie. Brak wystarczającej wiedzy wśród części osób, które wykonują symulacje oraz nieweryfikowanie uzyskiwanych wyników poprzez przeprowadzenie niezależnych obliczeń innymi metodami, powodują, iż jakość analiz i realizowanych na ich podstawie projektów jest często niezadawalająca. W najbliższym czasie planowane jest wydanie wytycznych do wykonywania symulacji CFD, co powinno poprawić obecną sytuację. Coraz szerzej prowadzona jest także dydaktyka w zakresie inżynierii bezpieczeństwa pożarowego. Metodologia: Artykuł opracowano w oparciu o najnowszą literaturę przedmiotu oraz doświadczenie własne autorki, poparte wieloletnią praktyką wykonywania w Polsce analiz zabezpieczeń przeciwpożarowych z wykorzystaniem metod inżynierskich oraz uczestnictwem w licznych konferencjach międzynarodowych oraz przeprowadzonymi testami i badaniami. Wnioski: Ocena zaprezentowanych w artykule danych na temat aktualnego poziomu rozwoju inżynierii bezpieczeństwa pożarowego pozwala na stwierdzenie, że Polska jest w tej dziedzinie na etapie podobnym do większości krajów europejskich, a intensywnie działając na polu naukowo-dydaktycznym ma szansę dogonić światowych liderów.
Aim: The aim of the article is an attempt to answer the questions: How did fire safety engineering start in the world? Can we already talk in Poland about fire engineering design as an official approach and field of science? What are the procedures for designing performance-based fire protection and how they differ from the traditional prescriptive-based? Who should have permission to execute performance-based designs and what tools are most appropriate for it? Introduction: In the recent years growing problem of insufficient qualifications among those involved in fire safety engineering was noted around the world . Only a few countries (such as USA, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Italy) have teaching courses in higher education. The development of this science is very dynamic and new guidelines and regulations on the use of tools of fire engineering constantly arise. In Poland for almost 14 years fire ventilation projects, based on performance-based methods are executed and slowly this method extends to other security systems. For several years, a modern two-stage code is waiting for implementation. When designing computer simulations CFD are commonly used and are treated as a unique engineering tool. Lack of sufficient knowledge of persons performing simulation and verification of the results by performing independent calculations by other methods, make the quality of the analyzes and projects based on them often unsatisfactory. In the nearest future a guidebook to perform CFD simulations is to be issued , which will hopefully improve the situation. Education in the field of fire safety engineering is still improving. Analyzed issues: The article was developed based on literature of the subject and the author’s own experience, supported by many years of performance-based fire protection analysis in Poland, participation in numerous international conferences and conducted tests and studies. Summary: Evaluation of data presented in the article about the current level of development of fire safety engineering allows to say that knowledge in this field in Poland is at a stage similar to other European countries, and still improving, thus we have a chance to catch up with the world leaders.

Providing a flexible platform that also allows prototyping new network solutions opens new possibilities for designers, researchers and administrators. This solution are NetFPGA systems. Their additional advantage is the possibility of testing new networking protocols in a real heterogeneous environment. Until now, it has been mainly possible by using software tools such as, e.g. Opnet Modeler. Despite the very good mapping network environment in this type of solutions, it is necessary to carry out tests in the real network for their correct evaluation. The paper focuses on the analysis of the solution performance based on NetFPGA-1G cards as an alternative to the network nodes based on ASICs. Therefore a series of tests was carried out. They demonstrated the applicability of the platform in different layers of the network, e.g. access, aggregation, or core. Thus, the paper goal is to show the possibilities of using NetFPGA solutions in a network environment mainly of enterprise class.

Anomaly detection for streaming real-time data is very important; more significant is the performance of an algorithm in order to meet real-time requirements. Anomaly detection is very crucial in every sector because, by knowing what is going wrong with data/digital systems, we can make decisions to help in every sector. Dealing with real-time data requires speed; for this reason, the aim of this paper is to measure the performance of our proposed Holt–Winters genetic algorithm (HW-GA) as compared to other anomaly-detection algorithms with a large amount of data as well as to measure how other factors such as visualization and the performance of the testing environment affect the algorithm’s performance. The experiments will be done in R with different data sets such as the as real COVID-19 and IoT sensor data that we collected from Smart Agriculture Libelium sensors and e-dnevnik as well as three benchmarks from the Numenta data sets. The real data has no known anomalies, but the anomalies are known in the benchmark data; this was done in order to evaluate how the algorithm works in both situations. The novelty of this paper is that the performance will be tested on three different computers (in which one is a high-performance computer); also, a large amount of data will be used for our testing, as will how the visualization phase affects the algorithm’s performance.

While developing and emphasizing oral skills in foreign language learning in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEF) seems to be the general trend in the whole of Europe, the place and attention given to oral skills in the majority of schools across Europe is less than it deserves. This is so owing to a number of factors, one being that oral skills are slow to develop, require time and investment in terms of attention and resources and yet leave largely insubstantial evidence of effort, and finally teaching materials oftentimes focus on more manageable language elements and skills. The Web application described in the subsequent pages is a reasonable solution to this problem as it allows teaching staff to jointly evaluate the oral skills and proficiency of their pupils through a web-based environment. The main objectives of the rationale behind the web app are in bringing teaching staff in various institutions by providing them with a community where their assessments can be validated by their colleagues and to provide them and their pupils with tools to distribute and share annotated video and audio materials on the internet. This article outlines the workings of the web app, its major components, the logic behind it and the logistics in creating online assessments of oral proficiency in a collaborative assessment environment with a Community of Practice as a safeguard for the continual and sustained operation of the web-based evaluation environment for assessing oral skills
Chociaż nacisk na rozwijanie umiejętności mówienia w języku obcym według EuropejskiegoSystemu Opisu Kształcenia Językowego (ESOKJ) wydaje się być powszechnymtrendem w całej Europie, miejsce i uwaga jaką poświęca się umiejętnościom mówieniaw znakomitej większości szkół europejskich jest mniejsza niż na to zasługują. Składasię na to szereg rozmaitych czynników, z których jeden dotyczy faktu, że umiejętnościjęzykowe nabywane są powoli, wymagają czasu i wysiłku, a jednocześnie brak wyraźnychefektów wydatkowanych nakładów pracy, oraz wreszcie nie sprzyja temu taka konstrukcjamateriałów do nauczania, gdzie zwraca się uwagę na takie składniki i komponentynauczania, które są bardziej namacalne. Aplikacja internetowa przedstawiona poniżej stanowiciekawy sposób na uporanie się z tym problemem, pozwalając nauczycielom nawspólne, grupowe i wzajemne dokonywanie ocen umiejętności mówienia w środowiskuinternetowym. Głównym założeniem tej aplikacji jest networking między nauczycielamiz rozmaitych instytucji edukacyjnych w celu stworzenia wspólnoty eksperckiej, którapozwoli na walidację ocen języka mówionego i stanowić będzie dla nich narzędzie zapomocą, którego będą dzielić się materiałami audio i wideo zawierającymi wyczerpująceoceny wypowiedzi ustnych w języku obcym. Ten artykuł ma na celu zaprezentowanie tejaplikacji, jej wewnętrznej logiki oraz podstaw procedury tworzenia adnotowanych próbekjęzyka mówionego w środowisku internetowym przy udziale społeczności eksperckiej,której wysiłki stanowić mają gwarancję trwałości funkcjonowania takiego systemu ocenianiajęzyka mówionego.Słowa kluczowe: ocenianie mówienia, ocenianie przez sieć, testowanie wspomaganekomputerowo, elektroniczne systemy wspierania podejmowania decyzji, banki wiedzy

Opis:
Niniejsza praca dotyczy programu komputerowego do pomiaru sprawności psychomotorycznej, który działa na zasadzie aparatu krzyżowego. W artykule zawarto opis aplikacji, porównanie jej funkcji ze standardową aparaturą pomiarową, przebieg przeprowadzonego eksperymentu oraz analizę wyników badań testowych. Za cel badania przyjęto określenie różnic w sprawności, jakie wystąpiły miedzy klasycznym urządzeniem a komputerowym programem do pomiaru sprawności psychomotorycznej.
This paper is concerned with a computer program to measure psychomotor performance, which works on the principle of cross-camera. The article includes a description of the application, comparing its functions to the standard measurement apparatus, the operation of the experiment and the analysis of test results. Analysis of the results allowed us to identify differences in performance that occurred between classic device and a computer program to measure psychomotor skills.

Opis:
Proponuję spojrzenie na szachy, zwłaszcza e-szachy, przez performatykę. Performatyczny to sprawczy, wydajny, równy (jako podmiot), aktywny (w sensie działania). Komputeryzacja szachów, pojawienie się automatycznego zapisu partii paradoksalnie zmniejsza ich performatywność; w miarę archiwizowania, dodawania gier do wirtualnych bibliotek, zanika fenomen kibicowania „tu i teraz”. Współcześnie dochodzi do zbliżenia performansu kulturowego, technicznego i organizacyjnego. Ludzie i komputery performują; stajemy się wspólnikami, szachy stają się e-szachami, zdarza się również, że człowiek zaczyna od e-szachów, zanim siądzie przed rzeczywistym przeciwnikiem. W artykule posłużyłem się metodą autoetnografii – opisałem, jak podjąłem wyzwanie zorganizowania drużyny, klubu i turnieju szachowego w szkole średniej z wykorzystaniem narzędzi i metod tradycyjnych oraz elektronicznych. Edukacyjna rola e-szachów na gruncie edukacji performatycznej jest nie do przecenienia.
I propose to look at chess, especially e-chess, through performatics. Performative is causative, efficient, equal (as a subject), active (in the sense of action). The computerization of chess, the emergence of automatic game recording paradoxically reduces their performativity; as you archive, add games to virtual libraries, the „here and now” aspect of viewing disappears. Man and computer perform. Programs change their faces, convert from platform to platform, complement each other and support people. This, in turn, attracts more chess players to the game, so the performance is broadened. The educational role of e-chess in performance education cannot be overestimated.
