Opis:: In the article theoretical bases of technology of purification of bilge water, which is formed during the operation of ship power plants. Theoretical foundations are based on theoretical premises Kulskij L.A. that the choice of methods of cleaning depends on the properties of the treated water. The basic properties of oil bilge water that oil present in this water emulsified oil products and oil as the individual phases. Also made an analysis other factors that determine the choice of technology cleaning of bilge water. The basic technological scheme of cleaning should contain methods for cleaning from free product and from emulsified. There is also the possibility to use such methods of water treatment, which improve the efficiency of methods of cleaning. Theoretical bases allow to develop effective devices for cleaning bilge water as marine and coastal or for floating treatment facilities.

Such a system involves the standardization c control surface soiling and the rating scale of cleaning effectiveness provi ding the quantitative assessment of test cleaning processes.

Opis:: This paper presents a study on the effect of cleaning factors on the energy consumption of the cleaning process in a CIP system, and the correlation between single components of electricity necessary to perform this process and the cleanliness degree obtained. Studies were carried out in a laboratory cleaning station, wherein a plate heat exchanger contaminated with hot milk was included. The research program was developed according to a 5-level statistical plan. Based on the results, obtained with Experiment Planner 1.0, a regression function of energy requirement considering variables such as: cleaning time, temperature and flow rate of the cleaning liquid via the cleaned exchanger has been developed. Describing this relationship, linear and quadratic functions with double interactions were used. Significance level for the analysis was established at α = 0.05. Correlation analysis between components of the electricity necessary to perform the cleaning process (pump drive and heating of the cleaning agent) and the resulting degree of cleaning of heat exchanger plates was performed.

Opis:: W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczące energetycznego zapotrzebowania procesu mycia w zależności od uzyskanego stopnia skuteczności mycia. Celem pracy było określenie zależności nakładu energetycznego i skuteczności mycia w systemie CIP. Badania przeprowadzono na laboratoryjnej dwu zbiornikowej stacji mycia. Środkiem myjącym była czysta woda wodociągowa. W wyniku przeprowadzonych badań stwierdzono, że nakład energetyczny nie zawsze przekłada się na wyższą skuteczność procesu. Wyznaczono zbiory wyników badań pod kontem zużycia energii i efektów mycia.
The study presents results of studies concerning the energy needs of the cleaning process depending on the obtained degree of washing effectiveness. The aim of the study was to determine the relation of the energy and the effectiveness of the CIP system. The study results found that energy effort does not always mean that the effectiveness of the process will be higher. Collections of the research results in terms of energy consumption and the effects of cleaning were determined.

The paper attempts to define the relationship between the degree of cleaning plates the heat exchanger and the amount of energy needed to carry out the process. The results in graphical form, determining positive and negative conditions for cleaning in the aspect of energy consumed was shown at the figures.

Opis:: Praca naukowa finansowana ze środków na naukę w latach 2010 - 2011 jako projekt badawczy Nr N N313 136838 W artykule przedstawiono wyniki pracy badawczej, dotyczącej oddziaływania czynników mechanicznych na skuteczność mycia rurociągu metodą CIP w branży mleczarskiej. Badania przeprowadzono na laboratoryjnej dwuzbiornikowej stacji mycia. Środkiem myjącym była czysta woda wodociągowa. Badano wpływ prędkości przepływu, ciśnienia, temperatury i objętości wody myjącej, na jakość procesu. Skuteczność mycia jako funkcję mierzonych wielkości aproksymowano wielomianem stopnia drugiego z interakcjami czynników. Przeprowadzono analizę otrzymanej funkcji regresji opisującej skuteczność mycia w systemie CIP. W wyniku przeprowadzonych badań stwierdzono, iż największy wpływ na skuteczność mycia ma prędkość przepływu czynnika myjącego.
Paper presents the measured results the impact of mechanical factors on pipeline cleaning effectiveness CIP. The study was conducted on laboratory for double-tank cleaning station. Cleaning agent was running water. The study was conducted to determine the effect of flow, pressure, temperature and volume of wash water in the quality of the process. Cleaning effectiveness as a function of the measured values were approximated by second degree of polynomial with interaction of input factors. The regression function describing the effectiveness of CIP system was analyzed. The highest influence on the effectiveness of cleaning has of flow velocity.

Investigations on the process of enzymatic cleaning the cucumber seeds have been presented. The present method includes disinfection in hydrochloride acid (virus removal), washing in water up to pH=4 and processing the seeds in enzyme. A method and an apparatus for its application were described.

Opis:: Celem pracy zaprezentowanej w artykule było badanie zmian parametrów czynnika myjącego w systemie Clean In Place. Na podstawie badań możliwe jest wyznaczenie charakterystycznych faz procesu mycia i analiza intensywności usuwania zabrudzeń. Parametry procesu mycia monitorowano za pomocą aparatury pomiarowej do pomiarów ciągłych. Na stanowisku laboratoryjnej stacji mycia CIP dokonywano pomiaru wartości parametrów cieczy myjącej: mętności, przewodności i pH. Stwierdzono cykliczność procesu i zależności w wymywaniu składników kwasowych i zasadowych.
The aim of this work was introduction position to cleaning in the closed configuration with the possibility with measurement on line. It is possible to delimitation of the characteristic phase of the cleaning process in CIP system and it is possible to analysis intensity of soils removing. Parameters of the cleaning process were monitoring by the measuring equipment for continuous measurement. On the position were measure value parameters of cleaning liquid: dimness, conductivity, pH. During investigation were affirmed cycle of process and dependence in cleaning acidic and alkaline components.

Opis:: Objectives: Cleaning products are considered less hazardous than those used in other sectors. Suppliers and distributors are less conscientious when it comes to informing users on health risks. The aim of the study was to elaborate on the usefulness and clarity of information in the safety data sheets (SDS) for cleaning products, and considering if the use of these SDSs can be seen as a risk factor towards occupational exposure to hazardous chemicals in the sector. Material and Methods: Safety data sheets were selected based on the risk level of the product assigned in an industrial sector scheme. 320 SDSs for cleaning products were reviewed. Constituent components found in the products over a given threshold were listed and available information thereof used to assess the perceived non-hazard consideration of the chemicals. Results: The contents of the SDSs was generic and mostly incomplete. Safety measures and health information lacked sufficient specificity despite varying compositions and concentrations of components. There is generally incompatibility between mentioned sections on the suggested non-hazardous nature of the products and health effects. Not all substances used in these products have harmonized classifications, which makes them open to various classification of the products and the suggested safety measures. This results in different companies classifying similar products differently. Risk management measures and suggested personal protective equipment (PPEs) are given haphazardly. Physical properties relevant to risk assessment are not included. Conclusions: The safety data sheets are ambiguous, and they lack relevant and important information. Inadequate information and risk assessment concerning the products can lead to workers being exposed to hazardous chemicals. Underestimation of the hazard contribution of the components of the products and the insufficient, non-objective mention of appropriate control and protective measures are the major contributing elements. There is a need to test the products in order to establish health effects and product specific safety measures.

Opis:: The paper presents the selected results of tests on ablational laser removal of polymer lacquer coating with metallic filler (aluminium plates). The fibre laser with the Galvo head of the following parameters: the radiation wavelength λ = 1064nm, the exposition time of the laser impulse τ = 25ns, and the repetition frequency 30-500kHz was used. By changing the power thickness, repetition frequency, and scanning speed various effects of varnish, coating removal were obtained. The melting of the colourless lacquer coat was observed when small power thickness was applied. Multiple scanning with the laser beam of higher power thickness resulted in sequential removal of several to tens of micrometers of the lacquer coating. This technology brings very good perspectives for the renovation of lacquer coating systems in present vehicles (bodies, frames).

Opis:: A 2 orders of magnitude range of van der Waals interactions is considered here to take the majority of the variety of shapes and materials of actual particles into account. Comparing these interactions with the repulsive forces generated by electrostatic charges, drag, surface tension, shock waves, high accelerations and aerosol particles, the intrinsic capabilities and limitations of the different cleaning processes can be predicted. Three kinds of particle-removal processes have been identified { universal processes capable of removing all particle sizes and types, even from patterned wafers, processes that present the same theoretical ability but are actually limited by the accessibility of the particles, and finally cleanings that are not able to remove all particle sizes.

Opis:: W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczących skuteczności usuwania zanieczyszczeń białkowych metodą mycia pianowego z 8 różnych powierzchni wykorzystywanych w przemyśle spożywczym (gres, gumoleum, płytki antybakteryjne i tradycyjne, stal nierdzewna). Powierzchnie zanieczyszczano białkiem pochodzącym z mleka i białka jaja kurzego, a następnie poddawano procesowi mycia przy zmiennych parametrach ciśnienia sprężonego powietrza i czasu kontaktu środka myjącego z badaną powierzchnią. Na podstawie wyników badań stwierdzono, że największy wpływ na skuteczność usuwania zanieczyszczeń białkowych ma ciśnienie sprężonego powietrza.
The paper presents results of the research on efficiency of removing the protein deposits by using foam cleaning technique. Eight surfaces used in the food industry (tiles, linoleum, antibacterial and traditional tiles and stainless steel) constituted the research object. Surfaces were contaminated by protein derived from milk and egg proteins and they were cleaned by foam technique at variable parameters of compressed air pressure and the contact time of the detergent with the tested surface. The results of the research confirmed that compressed air pressure of cleaning solutions has the highest influence on the protein deposits removal.

Opis:: Lack of the quality of the information that is integrated from heterogeneous sources is an important issue in many scientific domains. In toxicology the importance is even greater since the data is used for Quantitative Structure Activity Relationship (QSAR) modeling for prediction of chemical toxicity of new compounds. Much work has been done on QSARs but little attention has been paid to the quality of the data used. The underlying concept points to the absence of the quality criteria framework in this domain. This paper presents a review on some of the existing data quality assessment methods in various domains and their relevance and possible application to predictive toxicology, highlights number of data quality deficiencies from experimental work on internal data and also proposes some quality metrics and an algorithm for assessing data quality concluded from the results.
