Media społecznościowe są obecnie jednym z narzędzi komunikacyjnych służących do utrzymywania bezpośredniej relacji z klientami przez całą dobę. Do sposobów komunikacji z klientem należy utworzenie fanpage'u firmy na portalu Facebook i publikowanie na nim cyklicznie różnych treści dotyczących marki w postaci tzw. postów. Celem artykułu było zbadanie zaangażowania konsumenta na fanpage'u marki na Facebooku. Relacja z konsumentem kształtuje się wówczas na kilka sposobów. Zazwyczaj klienci stają się fanami marek, dają tzw. lajki, a także komentują lub dzielą się z innymi użytkownikami portalu treścią postów, która ich zainteresuje. Tego typu działania konsumentów odzwierciedlają popularność postów marek. Co istotne, w pomiarze skuteczności serwisów mediów społecznościowych, a także przy obliczaniu wskaźnika zaangażowania zasadniczą rolę odgrywają liczby komentarzy, lajków czy też przypadków dzielenia się z innymi. Istotne jest zatem, aby osoby zarządzające treścią na fanpage'ach znały skuteczność różnych treści zamieszczanych w postach w celu zwiększenia responsywności i współczynnika zaangażowania fanów. W niniejszym badaniu autorka przeprowadziła analizę treści postów na Facebooku zamieszczanych na stronie firmowej wrocławskiego sklepu stacjonarnego Zdrowy Mięśniak z ekologiczną żywnością. Przeanalizowano posty zamieszczane na fanpage'u przez 1,5 roku – od 1 stycznia 2018 r. do 30 lipca 2019 r. – pod kątem treści, liczby komentarzy, lajków oraz udostępnienia postów. Badanie pokazało różnice w odbiorze tematyki postów przez użytkowników Facebooka. Wykazano, iż zdjęcia produktów z wykorzystaniem wizerunku człowieka wywoływały większą aktywność użytkowników i większy zasięg organiczny niż zdjęcia samych produktów. W badaniu wykorzystano jedynie marketing organiczny, czyli tylko posty niepromowane.

Zaburzenia płynności mowy stanowią pewien globalny fenomen, gdyż występują we wszystkich społeczeństwach. Jednocześnie istnieje wiele metod terapii logopedycznych dotyczących jąkania się. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badania dotyczące efektów jednej z nich, tj. Palin PCI – terapii interakcyjnej rodzic – dziecko, zastosowanej w przypadku pięcioletniego jąkającego się chłopca. W badaniu wykorzystano jakościową metodę case study, w której ramach wykorzystano kilka źródeł danych: analizę dokumentów z terapii, obserwację, a także indywidualne wywiady pogłębione z rodzicami. Badanie wykazało, że zastosowanie programu Palin PCI przyczyniło się do zmniejszenia niepłynności mowy chłopca, a także znacznej zmiany postaw rodziców względem jąkania się syna.
The speech fluency disorder is a global phenomenon as it occurs in all societies. At the same time, there are many speech therapy methods for stuttering. The article presents the results of a study on the results obtained through one of these methods: the Palin PCI, or the Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, used to treat a five-year-old boy who stutters. The study used a qualitative case-study research method, which included the use of several data sources: desk research, observation, as well as individual in-depth interviews with the parents. The study has shown that the use of the Palin PCI method reduced the boy’s disfluency and significantly changed the parents’ attitudes towards the boy’s stuttering.

The article addresses the issue of badania artystyczne (BA; literal translation: artistic research) in the field of performing arts, with a particular emphasis on movement, dance, and choreographic practices, and set in the Polish context. The authors aim to identify and describe examples of artistic research processes in the field defined above; to explore the specificity of BA practices and the contexts in which they are realized; to share tools, methods, and knowledge about them at the level of the BA practices themselves and of studies on BA. The paper is divided into five parts: 1) a definition of artistic research; 2) an auto-choreo-ethnographic reflection; 3) a spider-map of BA practices; 4) an in-depth analysis of three artistic research processes (I: Przyszłość Materii (The Future of Matter) by Magdalena Ptasznik; II: Badanie/Produkcja (Research/Production) curated by Maria Stokłosa; III: a continuum of practices by Ania Nowak); 5) ‘interlacing’ – a cross-sectional reflection. The structure of the narrative is based on two orders: a) a textual order – the main axis of the article; b) a graphics-mapping order – a complementary collection of visual-textual materials presented on the Research Catalogue platform.

The subject of the article concerns the issue of constructing and reconstructing national identity. The object of interest here is a sociological case study of Serbian national identity. It includes reconstruction and interpretation of in-depth interviews conducted in Serbia with the representatives of Serbian symbolic elites. The concept of symbolic elites is approached in the discussed research from Teun van Dijk’s perspective. Thus, they are individuals and groups directly involved in the production of public opinion, who have an impact on the content of publicly available knowledge, and the creation and legitimization of public discourse. The work is embedded in the methodological framework of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) and is based on the assumptions of the Discourse‐Historical Approach (DHA). In this optics, the most important thing is the historical and social context of the studied process of the discursive construction of national identity. Therefore, the conclusions also touch upon the historical, political, and social perspective of the formation of Serbian national identity. The reflection also aims at presenting the analysis from the contemporary perspective (mainly in 2008-2020). Thus, paying attention to the political divisions in Serbia and the country’s road to democratization and European integration, the discussed research study shows the comprehensive specifics of the studied national identity.

A single-subject experiment, also known as quantitative case study or n = 1 research design, is an extraordinary but rarely used research method when it comes to education. This method combines precision of experiment with depth of qualitative analyses carried out on the basis of data obtained from a single subject under standardized observation. The paper presents formal characteristics, hypo[1]thesis verification conditions as well as strengths and weaknesses of the five single-subject experiment schemas, i.e.: (1) AB design, (2) reversal design ABAB, (3) multiple baseline design, (4) alternating treatment design, and (5) changing criterion design. Furthermore, graphic and non-graphic methods of testing hypotheses on causal relations between independent and outcome variables appropriate for the single-subject experiment are discussed.

Dziecko przedwcześnie urodzone to dziecko, którego stan psychomotoryczny i neurologiczny jest bardzo zróżnicowany, a dalszy jego rozwój zależy od wielu czynników biologicznych i środowiskowych. Ważną rolę odgrywa wczesna interwencja i stymulacja rozwojowa, w którą zaangażowani są rodzice dziecka. Muzykoterapia (MT) to forma wczesnej stymulacji rozwoju wcześniaków na oddziale intensywnej terapii noworodka (OITN). Działania muzykoterapeutyczne mogą wspierać i pomagać w osiąganiu stanu regulacji fizjologicznej i emocjonalnej zarówno dziecka, jak i jego rodziców. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest zaznajomienie czytelnika z możliwościami stosowania aktywnej muzykoterapii na OITN na przykładzie dziecka urodzonego w 27 tygodniu ciąży oraz jej matki (studium przypadku). Opis procesu muzykoterapeutycznego opartego na wybranych modelach muzykoterapeutycznych ilustruje możliwości prowadzenia muzykoterapii na oddziale. Zróżnicowane cele terapeutyczne opierały się na trzech obszarach: potrzeby dziecka, potrzeby matki oraz potrzeby dziecka i matki jako diady. Starano się również wskazać sposoby prowadzenia muzykoterapii w polskich warunkach szpitalnych, w którym jak dotąd nie była prowadzona tego typu interwencja. Opis przypadku pokazuje, że wprowadzenie terapii, która może być formą wczesnej interwencji, skupia się na rodzinie, na rozwijaniu wzajemnej relacji oraz na uczeniu się komunikacji. Ponadto może przyczynić się do poprawy jakości życia matki i dziecka. Istnieje potrzeba prowadzenia dalszych badań sprawdzających efektywność muzykoterapii na oddziale neonatologicznym na gruncie krajowym. Jednakże niniejszy opis przypadku oraz rosnąca liczba międzynarodowych badań wskazują na korzyści terapeutyczne prowadzonej muzykoterapii dzieci przedwcześnie urodzonych i ich rodziców.
A prematurely born child is a child whose psychomotor and neurological condition can be highly diversified and whose further development depends on a number of biological and environmental factors. An important role is played by early intervention and developmental stimulation which involves parents. Music therapy (MT) is a form of an early developmental stimulation for premature infants at neonatal intensive care units (NICU). Music therapeutic activities may support and help in the achievement of physiological and emotional regulation of a child as well as his/her parents. The aim of this article is to familiarize readers with possibilities offered by active music therapy conducted at NICU based on the example of a child born at 27 weeks and her mother (case study). The description of a music therapy process based on chosen music therapy models shows how to conduct music therapy at the unit. The therapeutic goals are focused on three areas: child’s needs, mother’s needs and child and mother’s needs as dyads. The author also tries to present ways how to conduct music therapy in Polish hospitals where this type of intervention has not been introduced yet. The case study shows that the introduction of music therapy, which can be a form of early intervention, focuses on the family, the development of a mutual bond as well as learning how to communicate. Moreover, it may improve both child’s and mother’s quality of life. There is a necessity to conduct more research into the effectiveness of music therapy at neonatal intensive care units in Poland. However, the case study in question as well as a growing number of international research shows the therapeutic benefits of music therapy for premature infants and their parents.

This article focuses on the challenges faced by single-parent foster families. The scope of problems includes theoretical issues concerning such notions as family and incomplete family. The function of foster family in the light of the Act of 9 June 2011 on family support and foster care system was also presented. The article presents the results of research conducted by the author within the framework of her Bachelor’s thesis. Methodological assumptions of the research were also described and their results were presented on the basis of which conclusions and recommendations were formulated concerning the improvement of the support and health care system as well as the change of attitude in the perception of foster families run by single people.

Artykuł stanowi opracowanie hasła case study (studium przypadku) ze zwróceniem uwagi na historię terminu i jego transdyscyplinarne zastosowanie: wychodząc od medycyny i socjologii, przez prawo, psychiatrię, psychologię i seksuologię, kończąc na literaturoznawstwie. Autorka stara się zarysować rozróżnienie między studium przypadku jako formą gatunkową (Brigit Lang, Joy Damousi, Alison Lewis, Yiannis Gabriel) a studium przypadku jako strategią badawczą (Bent Flyvbjerg, Gerring John, Ryszard Nycz) – stosowaną od niedawna także w literaturoznawstwie. Wyznaczaniu zakresu oraz cech case study towarzyszy analiza opisu jako kluczowego narzędzia wspierającego przebieg „opowieści o przypadku”.
The article discusses case study with a focus on the history of the term and its transdisciplinary application, from medicine and sociology, through law, psychiatry, psychology, sexology, and literary studies. The author discusses the differences between case study as a genre (Brigit Lang, Joy Damousi, Alison Lewis, Yiannis Gabriel) and case study as a research strategy (Bent Flyvbjerg, Gerring John, Ryszard Nycz), which has been recently also employed in literary studies. Determining the scope and features of case study is accompanied by an analysis of description as a key tool in formulating “the story of the case.”

The paper analyses the specificity of the phenomenon of loneliness experienced in Alzheimer’s disease. The theoretical part contains a discussion on the issue of solitude and loneliness as described in the scientific literature, as well as on the significance of various manifestations of loneliness for the possibility of achieving existential fulfilment. Particular attention has been paid to the context of unaccountable loneliness caused by destructive changes in Alzheimer’s disease. It disrupts the ability to remember and perceive oneself in relation to one’s social environment. In the empirical part which uses the qualitative research approach, an in-depth reflection on the multi-faceted, very complex nature of experiencing loneliness by an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s disease is presented. The analysis was conducted on the basis of her own entries in her daily notebook concerning the ways of experiencing loneliness as a source of existential suffering. The analysis of the collected research material enabled the identification of several manifestations of the loneliness of an elderly person which do not correspond with the typical image of loneliness experienced by an individual unaffected by dementia. The analysis captured the subtle nature of existential suffering, which reflects the specificity of the deepening personal degradation of an elderly person caused by Alzheimer’s disease.
Artykuł dotyczy analizy specyfiki zjawiska samotności doświadczanego w sytuacji choroby Alzheimera. Część teoretyczna dotyczy dyskusji nad kwestią samotności i osamotnienia omawianą w literaturze naukowej, a także znaczenia różnych przejawów samotności dla możliwości osiągania spełnienia egzystencjalnego człowieka. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na kontekst niezawinionego osamotnienia wywołanego przez destruktywne zmiany choroby Alzheimera, które zaburzają zdolność zapamiętywania oraz postrzegania siebie w relacji z własnym otoczeniem społecznym. W części empirycznej zrealizowanej w podejściu badań jakościowych rozwinięto pogłębiony namysł nad nieoczywistym, bardzo złożonym charakterem doświadczania osamotnienia przez starszą osobę chorą na Alzheimera. Poddano analizie własnoręcznie zapisywane przez nią w notatniku codziennym wpisy dotyczące sposobów doświadczania osamotnienia jako źródła cierpienia egzystencjalnego. Analiza zgromadzonego materiału badawczego pozwoliła na wyodrębnienie kilku przejawów osamotnienia Seniorki nieprzystających do typowego wyobrażenia osamotnienia doświadczanego przez człowieka niedotkniętego chorobą typu demencyjnego. W analizie uchwycono subtelny w swej złożoności charakter cierpienia egzystencjalnego będącego odbiciem specyfiki pogłębiającej się degradacji osobowej Seniorki powodowanej chorobą Alzheimera.

In an ever changing business environment it is necessary for management accounting scholars, researchers and practitioners to be able to comprehend and facilitate change. The ability to constantly change research approaches to be appropriate to the research project is important for success. Research indicates that grounded theory and case study are two approaches that can be used in management accounting research. However, rarely used in management accounting research, it has the potential to contribute at all levels of management accounting research. The paper provides an individual account of using this approach. The purpose of this study was to provide guidelines for using a hybrid of grounded theory and case study methodologies in management accounting research.
W ciągle zmieniającym się środowisku biznesowym konieczne jest, aby naukowcy z dziedziny rachunkowości zarządczej, badacze i praktycy byli w stanie zrozumieć i ułatwić zmianę. Zdolność do ciągłej zmiany podejść badawczych w celu dostosowania ich do projektu badawczego jest bardzo ważna dla sukcesu. Badania wskazują, że ugruntowana teoria i studium przypadku to dwa podejścia, które można zastosować w badaniach rachunkowości zarządczej. Jednak rzadko stosowane w rachunkowości zarządczej badanie ma potencjał, aby przyczynić się do badań na wszystkich poziomach rachunkowości zarządczej. Artykuł przedstawia indywidualne podejście do stosowania tego podejścia. Celem tego badania było przedstawienie wytycznych dotyczących stosowania mieszanki ugruntowanej teorii i metodologii studium przypadku w badaniach rachunkowości zarządczej.

Opis:
Professor Z. Krygowska in her article, opening the frst issue of the PTM (Polish Mathematical Society) journal Didactics of mathematics (Dydaktyka Matematyki), (Krygowska, 1981) noted that the teacher and his preparation, and thus the problems of teaching mathematics, are never ahistorical. We live here and now, our pupils (students, doctoral students) are immersed in the contemporary time and in the current form of being. The Internet, computer games, the considerable computational capabilities even of smartphones (and, more specically, the relevant applications) - seem to solve many of the needs that were once met by mathematical skills. Mathematics is becoming more useful and, at the same time, less noticeable by people (a so-called - background usability). What 10 years ago was a strong motivating element, is now ceasing to be a problem.

This article presents the theoretical and empirical study of youth activity in the virtual world. Theoretical issues of media pedagogy regarding youth participation in cyberspace were presented. A qualitative study was conducted using a case study method of young people showing excessive activity in the virtual world. Sub-municipal government is an instrument that complements traditional forms of citizen participation and as such contributes to the democratization of the decision-making process on local interests. The main task of sub-municipal government in Croatia is to serve as the consultation and communication mechanism within local units, allowing alternative representation of small communities’ interest, parallel with local councils. However, sub-municipal government has a rather weak position in terms of autonomy, financing, low transparency, size and other. Nevertheless, examples of some Croatian cities demonstrate the democratization potential of sub-municipal government. In this paper, a survey has been conducted in the city of Rijeka (third biggest in Croatia) with questionnaire being send to all of its sub-municipal units. The goal of the survey was to assess which roles sub-municipal units have. The results have shown that the role of sub-municipal local units as activators of local activities is the most developed one. The results are then used to provide guidance for further improvement of sub-municipal system in Croatia.

Opis:
The goal of this article is to answer the question: what actions in the area of communicating online social presence increase the consumer’s clickthroughs and online sales of the promoted offer in the affiliate marketing context. Six cases that concern visual communication of social presence, consumer’s clickthroughs and sales have been analysed in the study. A replicable relationship between visually communicating social presence on a Facebook fan page and on the affiliate’s blog, consumers’ clickthroughs and sales value have been identified. Managerial implications of the research results are that affiliates should communicate: 1) product in use, 2) photo made by the affiliate, and expect a positive impact on both clickthroughs in the tracking link and sales. New knowledge from this study is the identified impact of social presence in visual communication on sales, while the authors of earlier studies checked the impact of social presence only on trust, purchase intent or likes, comments and conversion online.
Celem artykułu jest odpowiedź na pytanie: jakie działania w zakresie komunikowania obecności społecznej online zwiększają liczbę kliknięć konsumentów i sprzedaż promowanych ofert online w kontekście marketingu afiliacyjnego. W badaniu przeanalizowano sześć przypadków dotyczących wizualnej komunikacji obecności społecznej, kliknięć klientów i sprzedaży. Zidentyfikowano powtarzalny związek między wizualną komunikacją obecności społecznej na fanpage’u Facebooka i blogu partnera afiliacyjnego, kliknięciami klientów i wartością sprzedaży. Jeśli komunikacja wizualna oferty zawiera: 1) produkt w użyciu, 2) zdjęcie wykonane przez partnera afiliacyjnego, to można oczekiwać pozytywnego wpływu na kliknięcia w link przekierowujący na stronę reklamodawcy i na sprzedaż. Nową wiedzą z przeprowadzonego badania jest zidentyfikowany wpływ obecności społecznej w komunikacji wizualnej na sprzedaż, podczas gdy autorzy wcześniejszych badań sprawdzali wpływ obecności społecznej tylko na zaufanie, zamiary lub upodobania, komentarze i konwersję online.
