Analyzing various classifications of sentence parts in Korean and Polish, it is easy to identify the existence of attributes in both of them, although the English term itself is not actually being used by Korean linguists, and thus might not be well known. Nevertheless, since the function of gwanhyeongeo (Kor. 관형어) in Korean, and attributes in Polish is similar, for the sake of transparency, this particular term will be used.The aim of this article is to propose a comprehensive classification of attributes in both target languages based on formal, syntactic and semantic parameters. In order to do it in the most exhaustive way, firstly different approaches concerning the definition of attributes, as well as the methods of their classification, proposed by various linguists in both languages will be examined. The author hopes to find out to which extent the typological differences between Korean and Polish are reflected in the attributes’ properties, according to which they can be classified.
Porównując różne klasyfikacje części zdania, istniejące w języku koreańskim i polskim, potwierdzimy występowanie przydawek. Pomimo, iż angielski termin określający przydawkę - ‘attribute’ nie jest stosowany przez koreańskich lingwistów, ze względu na podobieństwa gwanhyeongeo (kor. 관형어) w języku koreańskim i przydawkami w języku polskim oraz dla zachowania przejrzystości, termin ten będzie stosowany.Celem niniejszego artykułu jest zaproponowanie klasyfikacji przydawek w języku koreańskim i polskim, opartej na parametrach formalnych, syntaktycznych oraz leksykalnych. Aby precyzyjnie scharakteryzować przydawki, najpierw zostaną przeanalizowane różne definicje tej części zdania oraz metody ich klasyfikacji, zaproponowane przez różnych koreańskich i polskich językoznawców. Autor żywi nadzieję, iż niniejsze badanie ujawni, do jakiego stopnia różnice typologiczne istniejące pomiędzy językiem koreańskim i polskim są odzwierciedlone we własnościach, według których przydawki w obu językach mogą zostać sklasyfikowane.
한국어와 폴란드어에 각각 존재하는 다양한 문장 성분의 분류를 분석해 보면 양국 언어에서 관형어의 실재를 쉽게 확인할 수 있다. ‘Attribute’란 용어 자체가 한국 언어학자들에 의해 실제로 사용되지 않음으로써 잘 알려져 있지 않지만, 한국어 문장에서 관형어의 기능은 폴란드어 문장에서의 ‘attribute’와 기능이 유사하기 때문에 연구의 명확성을 위해서 ‘attribute’라는 용어를 사용할 것이다.본 연구의 목적은 두 언어에서의 형태적ㆍ통사적ㆍ의미적 매개 변수를 바탕으로 둔 포괄적인 관형어의 분류를 제안하는 데에 있다. 이 과제를 최대한 철저히 수행하기 위하여 먼저 한국과 폴란드의 여러 언어학자들이 관형어를 어떻게 정의하고 분류해 왔는지를 알아볼 것이다.본고는 한국어와 폴란드어 간의 유형론적인 차이가 관형어의 속성을 분류하는 방법에 어느 정도 반영되는지를 밝혀 내고자 한다.

Opis:
To apply decision making theory for Mining Method Selection (MMS) problem, researchers have faced two difficulties in recent years: (i) calculation of relative weight for each criterion, (ii) uncertainty in judgment for decision makers. In order to avoid these difficulties, we apply a Hierarchical Preference Voting System (HPVS) for MMS problem that uses a Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model to produce weights associated with each ranking place. The presented method solves the problem in two stages. In the first stage, weights of criteria are calculated and at the second stage, alternatives are ranked with respect to all criteria. A simple case study has also been presented to illustrate the competence of this method. The results show that this approach reduces some difficulties of previous methods and could be applied simply in group decision making with too many decision makers and criteria. Also, regarding to application of a mathematical model, subjectivity is reduced and outcomes are more reliable.
Przy wykorzystywaniu teorii decyzyjnych do zagadnień związanych z wyborem właściwej metody wybierania, badacze na przestrzeni lat napotykali na dwie zasadnicze trudności: (i) obliczenie odpowiedniego współczynnika wagi dla poszczególnych kryteriów oraz (ii) niepewność osądów dokonywanych przez decydentów. W celu uniknięcia tych trudności, zastosowaliśmy system głosowania zakładający hierarchię preferencji przy podejmowaniu decyzji odnośnie wyboru metody wybierania. W tym celu wykorzystano model DEA (metoda obwiedni danych) dla wygenerowania wag związanych z poszczególnymi pozycjami w rankingu. Proponowana metoda zakłada rozwiązanie problemu w dwóch etapach. W pierwszym etapie obliczane są wagi przyporządkowane poszczególnym kryteriom, w etapie drugim przeprowadzany jest ranking rozwiązań alternatywnych w odniesieniu do wszystkich kryteriów. Przedstawiono proste studium przypadku dla zilustrowania działania metody. Wyniki wskazują, że zastosowane podejście redukuje pewne niedogodności związane z poprzednio stosowanymi metodami i może być z powodzeniem wykorzystane do podejmowania decyzji grupowych, w sytuacjach gdy mamy do czynienia z wieloma decydentami i wieloma kryteriami. Ponadto, zastosowanie modelu matematycznego pozwala na ograniczenie subiektywizmu w ocenie, dzięki temu wyniki są bardziej wiarygodne.

The design of a new mixed attribute control chart adapted to a truncated life test has been pre-sented. It was assumed that the lifetime of a product follows the Weibull distribution and the number of failures was observed using a truncated life test, where the test duration was specified as a fraction of the mean lifespan. The proposed control chart consists of two pairs of control limits based on a binomial distribution and one lower bound. The average run length of the chart was determined for various levels of shift constants and specified parameters. The efficiency of the chart is compared with an existing control chart in terms of the average run length. The application of the proposed chart is discussed with the aid of a simulation study.

Opis:
A ranking approach based on grey correlative coefficient is presented to solve the multiple attribute decision making problems in which the attribute values and the weights take the form of the generalized interval-valued trapezoidal fuzzy number (GIYTFN). Firstly, the concept and the calculation rules of GIYTFN are introduced, the distance of GIYTFN is proposed. Secondly, the method of linguistic terms transformed into GIYTFN and the normalization method of GIYTFN is illustrated, and a grey relational decision making method based on the GIYTFN is presented in detail. The alternatives are ranked based on the grey correlative coefficient. Finally, an illustrative example is given to show the effectiveness of this method and the decision making steps.

Research background: The critical role of online games in e-commerce and the great competition among providers to enhance market share has significantly increased the need to use effective advertising patterns, techniques, and tools to attract users. There are two significant challenges to planning online media game selection. The first challenge is that there is no agreement on media selection criteria for online game advertising. The second challenge relates to the complexity of choosing advertising media. Purpose of the article: Given the multidimensionality and uncertainty in evaluating and selecting advertising media, especially in the case of online games, the need to provide a systematic framework for evaluating and selecting media is critical. Methods: The present study aims to provide a systematic framework based on multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) methods to evaluate and select the appropriate media for online game advertising. For this purpose, first, by reviewing the literature, a relatively comprehensive list of media selection criteria for online game advertising was extracted and then provided to experts in online game marketing and advertising in the fuzzy Delphi questionnaire. Then, based on their opinions, a localized decision model was obtained. Also, the Step-wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) method helped to determine the criteria' importance. In the next step, a preliminary list of online game advertising media was prepared and evaluated by experts based on the criteria obtained in the previous step. Finally, the media was ranked using the Additive Ratio ASsessment (ARAS) method. Findings & value added: Awareness of the criteria affecting the selection of online game advertising media and having a systematic framework for applying these criteria in advertising media selection decisions play a vital role in practical decisions. This research addresses one of the main gaps in the field of study by proposing a quantitative methodology for integrating information based on the knowledge of experts in the decision-making processes select advertising media for online games. Most traditional media selection processes are based solely on experience and estimation, and in practice, they are unable to systematically prioritize the alternatives due to the multiplicity of media available and the complexity of the decision-making process Interval-valued triangular fuzzy numbers (IVTFNs) can address the shortcomings of previous research while considering the uncertainties in this decision-making process. The findings of this framework can be good support for e-commerce managers and online game advertising practitioners.

This paper aims to propose a new multi-attribute decision making (MADM) method in complicated and fuzzy decision-making environment. To express both decision makers (DMs’) quantitative and qualitative evaluation information comprehensively and consider their high hesitancy in giving their assessment values in MADM process, we combine q-rung dual hesitant fuzzy sets (q-RDHFSs) with uncertain linguistic variables and develop a new tool, called the q-rung dual hesitant uncertain linguistic sets (q-RDHULSs). First, the definition, operations and comparison method of q-RDHULSs are proposed. Second, given the interrelationship among multiple q-rung dual hesitant uncertain linguistic variables (q-RDHULVs) we introduce some aggregation operators (AOs) to fuse q-rung dual hesitant uncertain linguistic (q-RDHUL) information based on the Muirhead mean, i.e. the q-RDHUL Muirhead mean operator, the q-RDHUL weighted Muirhead mean operator, the q-RDHUL dual Muirhead mean operator, and the q-RDHUL weighted dual Muirhead mean operator. To cope with MADM problems with q-RDHUL information, we propose a new method based on the proposed AOs. Afterwards, we apply the proposed method to an enterprise informatization level evaluation problem to verify its effectiveness. In addition, we also explain why our proposed method is more powerful and flexible than others.

The recently proposed q-rung dual hesitant fuzzy sets (q-RDHFSs) not only deal with decision makers’ (DMs’) hesitancy and uncertainty when evaluating the performance of alternatives, but also give them great liberty to express their assessment information comprehensively. This paper aims to propose a new multiple attribute decision-making (MADM) method where DMs’ evaluative values are in form of q-rung dual hesitant fuzzy elements (q-RDHFEs). Firstly, we extend the powerful Schweizer-Sklar q-norm and t-conorm (SSTT) to q-RDHFSs and propose novel operational rules of q-RDHFEs. The prominent advantage of the proposed operations is that they have important parameters q and r, making the information fusion procedure more flexible. Secondly, to effectively cope with the interrelationship among attributes, we extend the Hamy mean (HM) to q-RDHFSs and based on the newly developed operations, we propose the q-rung dual hesitant fuzzy Schweizer-Sklar Hamy mean (q-RDHFSSHM) operator, and the q-rung dual hesitant fuzzy Schweizer-Sklar weighted Hamy mean (q-RDHFSSWHM) operator. The properties of the proposed operators, such as idempotency, boundedness and monotonicity are discussed in detail. Third, we propose a new MADM method based on the q-RDHFSSWHM operator and give the main steps of the algorithm. Finally, the effectiveness, flexibility and advantages of the proposed method are discussed through numerical examples.

Artykuł przedstawia wyniki dwóch projektów badawczych, dotyczących hierarchizacji postulatów przewozowych. W pierwszym z nich dokonano porównania klasycznego podejścia, polegającego na pytaniu pasażerów wprost o znaczenie poszczególnych postulatów z uporządkowaną regresją logistyczną, szukającą zależności pomiędzy satysfakcją ogólną, a satysfakcją z jakości cząstkowych. W drugim zestawiono uporządkowaną regresję logistyczną z wielomianową regresją logistyczną, opartą o model deklarowanego wyboru. Dodatkowo dokonano kilku prób modyfikacji tradycyjnego zestawu postulatów przewozowych. Z punktu widzenia metodologicznego, uporządkowana regresja logistyczna jest metodą umożliwiającą łatwe i szybkie diagnozowanie słabych oraz mocnych stron systemów transportowych, często nawet w oparciu o dane zastane. Natomiast wielomianowa regresja logistyczna wymaga znacznie bardziej skomplikowanych wywiadów, jednakże dostarcza bardzo użytecznych danych o decyzjach konsumenckich oraz umożliwia wycenę poszczególnych atrybutów jakościowych, takich jak np. pojedyncza przesiadka, czy określony poziom wyposażenia pojazdu. Metoda ta pozwala również na skuteczną ocenę jakości konkretnego przewoźnika, czy typu taboru. Wyniki badań wskazują, że zmiana metody doprowadza do zwiększenia znaczenia niskiej ceny i krótkiego czasu przejazdu, które w większości dotychczasowych badań miały drugorzędne znacznie. Przeprowadzone pilotaże wskazały także na dużą rolę takich aspektów związanych z komfortem podróży, jak: czystość, komfort termiczny, jakość pracy kierowców oraz wyposażenie pojazdów. Czynniki te nie były dotychczas traktowane jako samodzielne postulaty przewozowe, tymczasem warto je uwzględniać również przy klasycznej metodzie hierarchizacji potrzeb przewozowych.
The paper presents results of two research projects, aiming to prioritise quality attributes of urban public transport. The first project aims to compare the classic approach (i.e. direct assessment of the importance by passengers) with ordered logit model. The second one uses ordered and multinomial (based on stated choice experiments) logit models. Additionally, the traditional set of quality attributes has been redeveloped. From the methodological point of view, ordered logit modelling is a method that enables easy diagnosis of strengths and weaknesses of a transport system, often basing on an already collected dataset. Multinomial logit modelling requires more complicated data collection, but provides more complex data on customers’ choices and enables valuation of quality attributes. This method offers also effective assessment of a given operator or vehicle’s type. The conducted research shows, that the change of research method increases the importance of low price and short journey time, as well as such comfort attributes, as cleanless, thermal comfort, quality of drivers’ work and vehicles’ equipment, which haven’t been considered as independent quality attributes yet.

With respect to multiple attribute decision making problems with interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy information, some operational laws of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, score function and accuracy function of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are introduced. A combined optimization model based on the deviation method, by which the attribute weights can be determined, is established. For special situations, in which information about attribute weights is completely unknown, we establish another combined optimization model. By solving this model, we get a simple and exact formula, which can be used to determine the attribute weights. We utilize the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy weighted averaging (IIFWA) operator to aggregate the intuitionistic fuzzy information corresponding to each alternative, and then rank the alternatives and select the most desirable one(s) according to the score and accuracy functions. Finally, an illustrative example is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.

In this work, an efficient pedestrian attribute recognition system is introduced. The system is based on a novel processing pipeline that combines the best-performing attribute extraction model with an efficient attribute filtering algorithm using keypoints of human pose. The attribute extraction models are developed based on several state-of-the-art deep networks via transfer learning techniques, including ResNet50, Swin-transformer, and ConvNeXt. Pre-trained models of these networks are fine-tuned using the Ensemble Pedestrian Attribute Recognition (EPAR) dataset. Several optimization techniques, including the advanced optimizer Adam with Decoupled Weight Decay Regularization (AdamW), Random Erasing (RE), and weighted loss functions, are adopted to solve issues of data unbalancing or challenging conditions like partial and occluded bodies. Experimental evaluations are performed via EPAR that contains 26 993 images of 1477 person IDs, most of which are in challenging conditions. The results show that the ConvNeXt-v2-B outperforms other networks; mean accuracy (mA) reaches 85.57%, and other indices are also the highest. The addition of AdamW or RE can improve accuracy by 1-2%. The use of new loss functions can solve the issue of data unbalancing, in which the accuracy of data-less attributes improves by a maximum of 14% in the best case. Significantly, when the attribute filtering algorithm is applied, the results are dramatically improved, and mA reaches an excellent value of 94.85%. Utilizing the state-of-the-art attribute extraction model with optimization techniques on the large-scale and diverse dataset and attribute filtering has shown a good approach and thus has a high potential for practical applications.

In a previous paper three types of missing attribute values: lost values, attribute-concept values and "do not care" conditions were compared using six data sets. Since previous experimental results were affected by large variances due to conducting experiments on different versions of a given data set, we conducted new experiments, using the same pattern of missing attribute values for all three types of missing attribute values and for both certain and possible rules. Additionally, in our new experiments, the process of incremental replacing specified values by missing attribute values was terminated when entire rows of the data sets were full of missing attribute values. Finally, we created new, incomplete data sets by replacing the specified values starting from 5% of all attribute values, instead of 10% as in the previous experiments, with an increment of 5% instead of the previous increment of 10%. As a result, it is becoming more clear that the best approach to missing attribute values is based on lost values, with small difference between certain and possible rules, and that the worst approach is based on "do not care" conditions, certain rules. With our improved experimental setup it is also more clear that for a given data set the type of the missing attribute values should be selected individually.

W artykule przedstawiono analizę kształtowania się ceny transakcyjnej w czasie, którą przeprowadzono dla bazy lokali mieszkalnych, usytuowanych w dzielnicy Krowodrza w Krakowie, które w okresie od września 2004 r. do października 2005 r. były przedmiotem obrotu rynkowego. W celu zbadania trendu zmian cen transakcyjnych w czasie wykorzystano model regresji, model postaci iloczynowej oraz model interwałowy. W pierwszej części przeprowadzono obliczenia w oparciu o całą bazę zawierającą dane o 307 lokalach mieszkalnych. Uzyskane wyniki, wskazały na mały udział czasu w samodzielnym wyjaśnianiu zmienności cen transakcyjnych, który w przypadku modelu regresji nieliniowej wyniósł 26%, a w modelu postaci iloczynowej - 3%. W modelu interwałowym średnie odchylenie standardowe cen transakcyjnych wyniosło 60,78 zł/m2 ze średnim rozproszeniem równym 0,31. W związku z tym w dalszej części, wprowadzono kolejny atrybut jakim jest lokalizacja oraz dokonano na jego podstawie podziału bazy nieruchomości na 5 grup według przynależności do obrębów ewidencyjnych. Dla każdej z tych grup przeanalizowano trend zmiany ceny transakcyjnej w czasie, posługując się modelem regresji oraz postaci iloczynowej. Uzyskane wyniki prowadzą do wniosku, iż czas samodzielnie w małym stopniu wyjaśnia zmienność ceny transakcyjnej, stąd konieczne jest rozpatrywanie charakteru tych zmian z uwzględnieniem innych atrybutów nieruchomości.
The article presents the analysis of properties market prices in the aspect of time influence, which is showed for data base containing information about apartments, situated in Krowodrza district in Kraków, which where the subject of market transaction from September 2004 till October 2005. In research of time influence on market price of properties, are used three models: regression model, interval model and ratio form model. First part, present calculations based on all data base of 307 apartments. The results shows small part of time in individual explaining the changes of properties prices which equal 26 % in regression model and 3% in ratio form model. In interval model average variation equal 60.78 PLN/m2 with average dispersion 0.31. In connection with it, in further calculations was used one more attribute-location, all data base was divided on 5 groups based on their belonging to cadastre districts. In each of this group, was analysed time influence on market price of properties using nonlinear regression model and ratio form model. Received results shows that time has small individual part in explaining changes of the properties prices that is why the character of these changes should be analysed with other attributes of property.

For transport planning and policy-making, visualising the relationship among attributes; gender, education, occupation, age with travel pattern and mode choice is important. Household Interview Survey (HIS) is one of the major inputs in transport study which contains information about travel and demographic characteristics. From the analysis of 28,235 households in Dhaka city, this study represents the social demographic characteristic of Dhaka city based on the household survey. It was found that 89.79% of dwellers make double trips in a day and the trip rate per trip maker is 2.16, where 14% of total trips are generated at morning peak time between 7 to 8 am. The bus is the most preferable mode share and its contribution is about 35%. The scenario changed in a multimodal trip case and walking was the domination mode share with about 45% of total trips. Vehicle ownership had a vital rule in particular mode choice, especially in car and motorcycle household ownership case. Significant impact on travel patterns and mode choice criteria was found with gender, education, occupation, age, household income, trip purpose and time and vehicle ownership, which can help to formulate the strategic plan to solve the transport-related problem in Dhaka.

Large volumes of data are generated during DNA microarrays experiments. Database management systems (DBMS) are increasingly applied to these data, providing optimum processing and management from multiple microarray experiments. In this study, freely accessible DBMS software versions were compared (Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express Edition, Oracle Database 10g Express Edition, DB2 Express-C 9.7.2, MySQL 5.1, and PostgreSQL 9.0). We examined them in the context of possible Entity-Attribute-Value (EAV) application as an optimal organization method for microarray data. It was confirmed in the comparative analysis of component data processing methods, consistent with the EAV model, that efficient methods for microarray data analysis are available in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express Edition and PostgreSQL 9.0 systems. Also, DNA microarray data processing was confirmed to be more efficient with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express Edition as compared with PostgreSQL 9.0. The EAV method was also shown to be suitable for use with open-source versions of DBMS software as an optimum storage model for DNA microarray data. In terms of data processing methods and performance, the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express Edition proved to be the best among compared database systems.

Bikes are becoming an increasingly popular and reliable mode of transportation in developing countries because of their efficiency and ability to navigate through rough terrain and narrow roadways. Bikes are more vulnerable to road accidents and their riders’ safety is the main concern at present days. Hence, it is essential to reduce the possibility of accidents caused by bike riders. The main reason for bike accidents is bike rider behaviours in the form of traffic rules violations. The paper’s main aim is to categorize the importance of seven attributes on traffic rules violations, including bike rider behaviours, road features, ambient conditions, driving skills, type of license, bike age/tenure and riding without a safety device (helmet). Bike riders’ violations that can lead to an accident and the impact of attributes have been analyzed using the structural equation modelling (SEM) technique. To analyze these attributes, 450 bike riders have been interviewed in Bhubaneswar, India. It has been concluded that bike rider behaviours are the most significant attribute of violations. Since most bike riders are young, with low income and education, paying more attention to their training and education before issuing a driving license is necessary. In addition, those who do not use safety devices (helmets) are more susceptible to committing violations. This relates to the lack of enough control and enforcement in developing cities. Also, it shows that the current traffic fines for not using safety devices (helmets) are not enforced enough. Finally, considering this research’s outcomes can help minimize traffic rules violations among bike riders, which is a step towards safer roads.
