The paper presents results of studies undertaken by the authors, aimed at determination of character of influence of marker arrangement on real-time measurement of position and orientation of an object, using an exemplary optical tracking system PST-55. Such a system can be used for interaction in immersive Virtual Reality applications. To ensure better immersion of a user in a virtual environment, it is necessary to directly translate its actions into 3D image presented by the VR application. It is possible, among other things, by the application of systems for tracking user’s movements. During the presented studies, an object with infrared-reflective markers deployed on its surface was placed in the center of a rotary table, then it was measured by the tracking system to determine the influence of the object angular position on the accuracy of determination of its position and orientation by the examined device. The measurements were performed for several different arrangements of markers, to formulate guidelines for their deployment on objects used for work in a virtual environment.

For monodromy representations of holonomic systems, the rigidity can be defined. We examine the rigidity of the monodromy representations for Appell's hypergeonietric functions, and get the representations explicitly. The results show how the topology of the singular locus and the spectral types of the local monodromies work for the study of the rigidity.

The developed method of optimising a farmland arrangement system considers two basic directions when improving the layout of plots and farms: the aim of bringing farmlands closer to a farmstead site and the aim to improve the size and shape of plots. The basis for constructing this optimisation model comprises the division of consolidated land complexes into small elementary strips and the determination of distances between those strips and farmstead sites. The final result of the entire optimisation procedure is a complete digital map of a new farmland arrangement system. With this map, it is possible to compile all the documents necessary to create a cadastre. The time- and labour consuming processes of preparing data, constructing the model and solving it have been automated through the application of relevant software programs, thus, the method developed can be used in practice. The optimisation principles of farmland arrangement system were exemplified in the case of the village of Filipowice located near the city of Cracow. The optimisation performed resulted in, among other things, enlarging the mean plot area by four times and in bringing it 30% closer to a farmstead site.

Investigations on an arrangement of ten rural gardens in Naprawa village near Jordanów were based on inquiry method and local inspection of the gardens with an inventory of ornamental plants used for the arrangement. All gardens were established after construction of new houses. All, with the exception of one, were managed by women of 20 to 55 years old. Half of the garden owners work in different professions, the rest work at their home farms. The owners pay particular particular attention to the esthetical appearance of their gardens. Only two of the gardens were unattractive. Expansion and arrangement of new borders were observed in ten gardens. However in one garden, the expansion of lawn was at the cost of ornamental plants. Non of the gardens visited were arranged in the rural gardening tradition, except in two cases which were partially traditional. Analysis of the plants used for planting in the gardens indicate low use of annual plants in spite of biennials and no hardy perennials. Borders were planted most often with perennials using mainly native species which flower in spring time. Apart from typical, traditionally recommended species for planting in rural gardens, several new ones were introduced, which are not often used in these kinds of arrangements, with disregard for many traditional, very valuable ornamental plants.

Poprzez wprowadzenie ustawy z dnia 15 maja 2015 r. Prawo restrukturyzacyjne ustawodawca zdecydował się na powrotne normatywne i proceduralne rozdzielenie postępowań związanych z niewypłacalnością dłużnika. Niemniej jednak w ramach przepisów Prawa restrukturyzacyjnego ustawodawca zdecydował się na pozostawienie instytucji nawiązujących do postępowania upadłościowego. Jedną z takich instytucji jest układ likwidacyjny, który występowała na gruncie poprzednio obowiązującego stanu prawnego. Obecna regulacja układu likwidacyjnego ma bardziej szczątkowy zakres w porównaniu z przepisami Ustawy Prawo upadłościowe i naprawcze. W ramach niniejszego artykułu analizie poddaną zasadniczo kwestie związane z problematyką sposobów likwidacji majątku dłużnika, jak również zakresu sukcesji przy nabyciu przedsiębiorstwa na podstawie układu likwidacyjnego.
By introducing the Restructuring Law Act of 15 May 2015 the legislature decided to return to normative and procedural separation of proceedings related to the insolvency of the debtor. However, in the framework of the Restructuring Law some institutions referring to the bankruptcy proceedings have remained. One such institution is a liquidation arrangement. The current legal regulation of liquidation arrangement seems to be more fragmentary in comparison with the provisions of the Bankruptcy and Rehabilitation Law. This article comprises essentially issues of ways related to liquidation of the debtor assets as well as the scope of succession on the acquisition of the company on the basis of the liquidation arrangement.

Historyczny układ przestrzenny osady Nowosolna (obecnie osiedla na terenie Łodzi) jest unikatowym w skali europejskiej przykładem rozparcelowania działek i układu drogowego, który krzyżuje w jednym, centralnym punkcie osiem dróg. Ten wyjątkowy gwieździsty plan ewoluował na przestrzeni lat. Autorzy artykułu mają na celu zaproponowanie syntetycznego podsumowania aktualnego stanu wiedzy w zakresie ewolucji i przemian zachodzących w Nowosolnej, a także kontekstu jej współczesnych problemów. W tym celu dokonano przeglądu istniejącej literatury i źródeł archiwalnych, jak również współczesnej miejskiej polityki planistycznej. Rezultatem prac autorów jest stworzenie przejrzystego obrazu osady Nowosolna z uwidocznieniem jej walorów historycznych i współczesnych problemów.
The historical urban plan of Nowosolna settlement (currently a part of Łódź city) is an unique example on a European scale of the plots arrangement and road system, which cross eight roads in one, central point. This unique plan has evolved over the years. The authors of the article are intended to propose a synthetic summary of the current state of knowledge in the field of evolution and changes taking place in Nowosolna, as well as in the context of its contemporary problems. For this purpose, the existing literature and archival sources as well as contemporary urban planning policy were reviewed. The aim of the authors work is to create a readable image of the Nowosolna settlement with its historical values and contemporary problems highlighted.

Among the administrative arrangements (porozumienia administracyjne), one should distinguish a category of local-government arrangements (porozumienia samorządowe), i.e. those involving local government units. In the first place, it should be distinguished vertical arrangements, i.e. arrangements between units of different levels of the local government structure: arrangements between poviats (counties) and communes, between voivodeships (regions) and communes, and between voivodeships and poviats. Secondly, horizontal arrangements i.e. between communes, between poviats and between regions. Local government arrangements are a non-sovereign form of activity of the public administration, entered into with mutual declarations of intent of the parties. The basis for their conclusion is a resolution of the legislative body of a local government unit to agree to cooperate under the local government arrangement, while the very act of the arrangement is concluded by the executive body of the local government unit. The purpose of the local government arrangement is to ensure the fulfilment of a public task, to agree on its implementation and the necessary actions. The entrusting of public tasks by means of a local government arrangement is effected under public law and not by a civil contract. The arrangement relates to the implementation of already existing tasks, defined by specific legal provisions, resulting from the legal-systemic position of the parties to the arrangement, so they do not create new obligations arising from the arrangement concluded.
Pośród porozumień administracyjnych należy wyróżnić porozumienia samorządowe, czyli takie, których stronami są wyłącznie jednostki samorządu terytorialnego. Wyodrębnić należy: 1) samorządowe porozumienia wertykalne, czyli porozumienia między jednostkami różnych poziomów struktury samorządowej (powiatów z gminami, województw z gminami i województw z powiatami), oraz 2) samorządowe porozumienia horyzontalne, czyli międzygminne, powiatowe i wojewódzkie. Porozumienia samorządowe są niewładczą formą działania administracji publicznej. Są one zawierane na podstawie zgodnych oświadczeń woli uczestników porozumienia. Podstawą ich zawarcia jest uchwała organu stanowiącego jednostki samorządu terytorialnego w kwestii wyrażenia zgody na współpracę w ramach porozumienia samorządowego. Akt porozumienia jest natomiast zawierany przez organ wykonawczy jednostki samorządu terytorialnego. Celem porozumienia samorządowego jest zapewnienie realizacji zadania publicznego, uzgodnienie sposobu jego realizacji oraz niezbędnych w tym zakresie działań. Powierzenie zadań publicznych w drodze porozumienia samorządowego następuje w formie publicznoprawnej, a nie w drodze umowy prawa cywilnego. Porozumienie dotyczy realizacji zadań już istniejących, określonych konkretnymi przepisami prawa wynikającymi z prawno-ustrojowej pozycji podmiotów porozumienia, jego uczestnicy nie tworzą zatem nowych obowiązków wynikających z zawartego porozumienia.

The article identifies the main characteristics and features of the artistic arrangement of representative public buildings in Vienna that influenced analogical objects of Lviv in the second half of the 19th century. The issue of Vienna’s historicism and its peculiarities in interior decoration are also considered. The research involved selecting and analyzing key public buildings that are present in both cities, such as theaters, universities, the Diet (in case of Vienna – the Parliament), museums, courts and other sites with a broad representative group of rooms. These revealed common trends, direct and indirect quotations, both in artistic elements and in the overall order composition. The article also explores major public buildings in Vienna along with architects who have become role models and set some standards for the artistic design of the representative group of rooms. As a result, the influencing factors were identified, among which administrative, educational, cultural and economic issues are highlighted and reviewed.

The objective of the paper is to assess the situation of Polish regions (NUTS 2) and their progress in sustainable development regarding social inclusion. The study covers the period after Poland’s accession to the European Union (2004-2011). The implementation of ratio analysis and synthetic measure facilitated an evaluation of occurring tendencies. Taxonomic analysis was performed for the years 2006 and 2011. Linear arrangement methods and a common development pattern were applied in constructing the measure. The observed tendencies may be assessed as positive. All regions made progress towards the pattern even though the rate of occurring transformations was diversified. At the same time territorial disparities became smaller. Despite the recorded progress the situation in the country still requires to be improved. Among the most significant challenges encountered by Polish regions there are extensive income distribution inequalities, long-term unemployment, high percentage of population threatened with poverty and low participation of the disabled in the labour market.

Based on ethnographic research in 28 young middle-class households in Warsaw, this paper examines the money practices of couples living together, including how they set rules for budgeting, spending, and saving money. Drawing from practice theory and working with evidence gathered among young Poles, the paper shows how the couples jointly create a financial arrangement and then ground it in daily practices, transform it, and adjust it to changing circumstances. As the partners share a practical understanding and the rules are intelligible to each of them, this arrangement reflects the current order in the given household. By reconstructing the explicit or tacit beliefs as to why certain money practices are appropriate, desirable, acceptable, or completely inadmissible, this paper argues that everyday money practices are moral in nature and that a financial arrangement requires moral justification.

W pracy przedstawiono wyniki analiz symulacyjnych parametrów komfortu wizualnego takich jak natężenie promieniowania i luminancja. Symulacje przeprowadzono dla dwóch typowych dni: 22-go czerwca oraz 22-go grudnia dla różnego typu zabudowy ulicowej. W analizach uwzględniono nie tylko wpływ kształtu zabudowy, ale także wpływ barwy elewacji przeciwległej. Badania przeprowadzono dla różnych orientacji ulicy oraz różnych typów nieboskłonów.
The paper presents the analyses of simulation of visual comfort parameters like illuminance and luminance. Simulations have been done for 22th of June and 22th of December for different scheme of building street. In analyses have been taken into account not only influence of shape of buildings but also influence of colour of opposite elevation. Research have been made for different direction and type of sky luminance model.

The subject of this article is a discussion of the legal provisions governing the Israeli and international legal systems governing the control of trade in cyber-surveillance tools. A detailed analysis of the current regulations is carried out with a view to classification and pointing out imperfections in the content of the current regulations. The author identifies the transformations in the content of the Wassenaar Arrangement, which resulted in an attempt to regulate this matter more comprehensively in Israeli law in 2016. Using the impact of the international NSO software scandal as an example, the role that an effective export control regime, including international regulation, plays in preventing cyber-surveillance tools from being used in ways that are dangerous to internationally recognized values is demonstrated.

The propulsion system of multi-mode ships cause many problems of proper the choise of propulsion system elements and theirs arrangement in the design process. This system has to fulfil at least two inverse demands. It ought to make possible efficient ship shift (transit mode) from the port to the off shore work place and return to base, to ensure a ship survive at sea in the worst sea condition possible on that sea area and to fulfil conditions of dynamic positioning accuracy (stationkeeping mode) at specified bad state of the sea - not to stop the ship work for long time. The dynamic positioning systems require multi-element ship propulsion application. The fulfilment, all required possibilities and accuracy of ship positioning by chosen propulsion system specified in the project data, is the most important project problem to obtain the minimum investment costs. The redimensioning of propulsion system, increasing the number of thrusters and theirs possibilities gives the benefits in dynamic positioning accuracy, but increases the investment costs. An expensive project may not be realized because of price. The aim of designer is the choice optimum solution of propulsion system, which is fulfils all expectations of ship owner and crew, and performs all project assumptions.

A field experiment was conducted to determine the effect of pigeon pea spatial arrangement and population density on the productivity of maize-pigeon pea intercropping. Treatments were consisted of two pigeon pea spatial arrangements and three population densities of pigeon pea using randomized complete block design with three replications. Spatial arrangement and population densities had significant influence on pigeon pea grain yield. Higher grain yield was obtained from the highest pigeon pea plant population density and 1:2 spatial arrangement (3.90 t/ha, 0.73 t/ha for maize and 3.74 t/ha, 0.75 t/ha for pigeon pea). Number of seeds/cob and biomass yield of maize were not significantly affected by pigeon pea spatial arrangement and population densities. The interaction effect of pigeon pea spatial arrangement and population density had a significant effect on maize biomass yield. The highest interaction effect on biomass yield was obtained from the lowest pigeon pea population density with 1:2 arrangements. Land use efficiency and monetary return was increased by increasing plant density and pigeon pea rows. Total LER of 1.16 and 1.24 was received from 1:2 and 250,000 plants ha-1. Under pigeon pea spatial arrangement of 1:2 and population density of 125,000 and 250,000 plants ha-1 maize-pigeon pea intercropping was found to be advantageous. The highest monetary return was also obtained from these treatments of 1:2 and 250,000 plants ha-1(28185 ETB ha-1 and 28106 ETB ha-1). Intercropping maize-pigeon pea gave a gross monetary advantage of 75% and 21% of their respective sole crops of maize and pigeon pea.
