In the philosophical works of Kolakowski, the concept of inconsistency is a guideline that moves the subject closer to truth. Truth disappears when consistency prevails, that is a logic, a method, a tradition of thinking. And there is no need to reject the sequence in general, as there is no need to follow it. But there is a conflict between Kolakowski as the Thinker and Kolakowski as the Human Being. The first one tries to find the best way to describe the world with concepts, the second one wants to gain a comfortable existence in the world. The first needs doubt, the second wants to feel certainty. The philosopher as the Human Being wants to have a firm belief in those things the Thinker can only be hopeful of. The purpose of the article is to show how the Human Being and the Thinker compete in Kolakowski’s works, as their understanding of truth and the ways to it are different. Kolakowski’s paradox is that the inconsistency of the mind should advance us towards the truth, but it reinforces doubts whether truth is possible in general. If you replace the inconsistency with faith, the prospect becomes even foggier. Consequently, the author concludes that Kolakowski stayed in the state of uncertainty regarding how to solve the conflict. Theoretically, he prescribes the need for faith but does not explain how to practically combine faith and doubt in one head. The Thinker often wins with the Human Being and then retreats and comes back again. The Thinker and the Human Being are not an identical opposition to rational and irrational. It is a conflict which concerns the two subject guidelines: will to know and will to exist.

In literature Belarusian emigrant poetess Natalya Arseneva is famous for her love to native nature and autumn. The article discusses another crucial fact – Arseneva is a poetess of evening and night. Her fascination with night landscape observed in her first poems can be found in her entire creation process. Arseneva’s night is neither dark nor gloomy. On the contrary, the night excites by its beauty and multicolor. The moon and stars are an inseparable element of the night landscape. For Arseneva night is the time of reflection and dreams.

Opis:
Małżeństwo jako instytucja prawna zostało uregulowane zarówno w polskim prawie rodzinnym, jak i w prawie kanonicznym Kościoła katolickiego. W obu tych porządkach prawnych przewidziano również instytucje, których wykorzystanie może zadecydować o dalszym bycie prawnym konkretnego związku małżeńskiego. W polskim prawie rodzinnym zalicza się do nich ustalenie istnienia lub nieistnienia, unieważnienie i rozwiązanie małżeństwa, natomiast w prawie kanonicznym Kościoła katolickiego – stwierdzenie nieważności i rozwiązanie małżeństwa. Mimo, że analiza tych instytucji prawnych pozwala dostrzec pewne podobieństwa między poszczególnymi z nich, to jednak prowadzi do ogólnego wniosku, że instytucje cywilne i instytucje Kościoła katolickiego nie mogą być ze sobą utożsamiane.
Marriage, as a legal institution, has been regulated in both the Polish family law and the Canon law of the Catholic Church. Either of these legal systems has established the institutions which may make a decision on the legal continuation of marriage. The Polish family law includes the judgement of existence or non-existence, nullity and dissolution of marriage, while the Canon law of the Catholic Church embraces an annulment and dissolution of marriage. Despite the fact that the analysis of these legal institutions reveals some similarities, however, it leads to the general conclusion that civil institutions and the institutions of the Catholic Church cannot be considered equivalently.

In this article I present a philosophical considerations of theological heresy of presbyter Arius from the perspective of Aquinas’ criticism included in his works, with special honors Summa contra Gentiles. I show the role of Aristotle’s philosophy in creating the ancient Arianism, as well as its scholastic overcome. Analyzing the arguments of Arius, I familiarize myself with the concept of birthing Word as metaphysical substantial change, the transition from potency to act or movement perfecting. We are getting to know the thinking of Aquinas, exploring arguments of Alexandrian presbyter with the help of the same philosophy of Stagirite and winning this timeless intellectual startup.

Opis:
The issues connected with the rule of accusatorial procedure in Polish criminal proceedings were discussed against the backdrop of general theoretical topics and chosen issues of criminal proceeding’s theories. The authoress of the article shows the chosen topics of law’s theories related to the problem of law system’s rules, law’s rules and points out the influence of R. Dworkin’s and R. Alexy’s theories on the taxonomy of criminal proceeding’s rules. Later, she points out the device of compassing the legal norm as a criminal proceeding’s rule, its importance in criminal proceeding and character in law’s system. The problem of accusatorial procedure’s rule was discussed in a narrow meaning and contains the general questions connected with the concept of this rule in a system of criminal proceeding’s rules, correlation with another legal rules and functions executed by this rule.
Problematyka zasady skargowości w polskim procesie karnym została poruszona na płaszczyźnie ogólnych zagadnień teoretycznoprawnych i wybranych kwestii teorii procesu karnego. Autorka artykułu przedstawia wybrane zagadnienia teorii prawa dotyczące problemu zasad systemu prawa, zasad prawa, a także wskazuje wpływ teorii R. Dworkina i R. Alexy’ego na systematykę zasad procesu karnego. W dalszej części pracy zwraca uwagę na sposób ujmowania normy prawnej w kategorii zasady procesu karnego, jej wagi w procesie karnym i roli, jaką dana norma – zasada procesowa pełni w systemie prawa. Problem zasady skargowości został ujęty w znaczeniu wąskim i obejmuje ogólne zagadnienia dotyczące pojęcia, miejsca tej zasady w systemie zasad procesu karnego, korelacji z innymi podstawowymi zasadami procesu oraz realizowane przez nią funkcje w prawie karnym procesowym.

In this paper, an existence theorem for nth order perturbed differential inclusion is proved under the mixed Lipschitz and Carathéodory conditions. The existence of extremal solutions is also obtained under certain monotonicity conditions on the multi-functions involved in the inclusion. Our results extend the existence results of Dhage et al. [7,8] and Agarwal et al. [1].

Ten tekst to moja pierwsza reakcja na artykuł Profesora Artura Andrzejuka Struktura bytu w «Summa contra Gentiles» Tomasza z Akwinu, opublikowany w „Roczniku Tomistycznym / Annuaire Thomiste” N° 6 (2017). Cel, który mi tu przyświecał. – Jeżeli jest krytyczny, to bynajmniej nie w sensie grecko-obiegowym „polemos / polemiki” (pozytywno-negatywnej, zaangażowanej-rewandykującej… oceny) lecz jedynie w sensie grecko-kantowskim „krinein / (z)różnicowania” (neutralnej--bezstronnej-wyodrebniąjącej… identyfikacji)! – Chodzi tu o precyzyjne wskazanie aspektów Tomaszowej doktryny bytu, które są w tym artykule tematycznie przedstawione i, o usytuowanie ich w ramach tej doktryny jako całości (tzn. w jej stanie sfinalizowanym-ostatecznym, w momencie śmierci Świetego Tomasza). - Oczywiście, tylko na tyle, na ile, skądinąd, ja sam jestem w stanie te doktrynalna całość zrozumieć-przedstawić… Przy okazji (tytułem wyjściowej wskazówki) nie jestem tomistą ortodoksyjnym- wojującym... - Moje zaintersowanie doktryną Tomaszową-Tomistyczną jest tu czysto tekstowe-historyczne. W artykule dokonano przeglądu problematyki sterowania optymalnego systemami o parametrach rozłożonych z opóźnieniami w warunkach brzegowych. In this article the review of optimal control problems for distributed parameter systems with boundary conditions involving time delays is performed. The principal problems, namely: existence and uniqueness of solutions, distributed and boundary optimal control, optimal feedback control, controllability and mathematical models of distributed parameter systems are presented.

We consider a generalization of the classical risk model when the premium intensity depends on the current surplus of an insurance company. All surplus is invested in the risky asset, the price of which follows a geometric Brownian motion. We get an exponential bound for the infinite-horizon ruin probability. To this end, we allow the surplus process to explode and investigate the question concerning the probability of explosion of the surplus process between claim arrivals.

Opis:
Thesis. The aim of the paper is to interpret Kierkegaard's concept of repetition as a way of creating and experiencing authentic existence in an environment that is set up to repeat this same, inauthentic content of consciousness. Concept. Repetition is associated with determinism and represents social stagnation. Repetition creates the conditions for an inauthentic existence. The article offers an interpretation of Kierkegaard's concept of repetition, which is the repetition of another and produces authentic existence. Results and conclusions. Repetition automatically produces of the same. The repetition of one's choice of oneself is a process of creating spirit and individuality, which is a fundamental principle of authentic existence. Creating an authentic personality is one of the ways to solve the current crisis in society, which is associated with an inauthentic experience of existence, abdication of responsibility and repetition of lies. Cognitive value. The postmodern society associated with the use of the media is not the cause of social disorientation. It is a means that an individual uses to repeat the same. The social environment and magic themselves are not negative, the negative is the inauthentic attitude of a person to them.

A differential equation of the form (q(t)k(u)u')' = F(t,u)u' is considered and solutions u with u(0) = 0 are studied on the halfline [0,∞). Theorems about the existence, uniqueness, boundedness and dependence of solutions on a parameter are given.

Opis:
Tadeusz Klimski studied three ancient and medieval authors: Saint Augustine, Johannes Scotus Eriugena and Honorius of Autun, and devoted them his publications in „Studia Philosophiae Christianae”. He studied in their texts the issues of truth, proceeded from Aristotle who defined philosophy as „the knowledge of the truth”. According to T. Klimski, knowability of truth was by St. Augustine radically dependent on God, and in the philosophy of Eriugena truth was equated directly with him. Honorius of Autun in his works connected the truth with the essence of things, however, he has not seen existential aspect resulting from the definition of God as semper esse. According to T. Klimski, these philosophers, because they were neoplatonists they haven’t come to the truth with existence, with esse, as something most fundamental for the understanding of being.
