Let f(z), $z = re^{iθ}$, be analytic in the finite disc |z| < R. The growth properties of f(z) are studied using the mean values $I_δ(r)$ and the iterated mean values $N_{δ,k}(r)$ of f(z). A convexity result for the above mean values is obtained and their relative growth is studied using the order and type of f(z).

Let P(D) be a partial differential operator with constant coefficients which is surjective on the space A(Ω) of real analytic functions on an open set $ Ω ⊂ ℝ^n$. Then P(D) admits shifted (generalized) elementary solutions which are real analytic on an arbitrary relatively compact open set ω ⊂ ⊂ Ω. This implies that any localization $P_{m,Θ}$ of the principal part $P_m$ is hyperbolic w.r.t. any normal vector N of ∂Ω which is noncharacteristic for $P_{m,Θ}$. Under additional assumptions $P_m$ must be locally hyperbolic.

Opis:
Air leakage of auxiliary ventilation ducting systems is the most common reason for the insufficient fresh air in the working face in underground mine. This value is important design parameter for mine auxiliary ventilation system that operates more effectively, with lower cost. Therefore, determination of air leakage along auxiliary ventilation ducting systems has been examined. Also, factors which affect air leakage in the ducting system have been investigated. Experimental data are made on 0.7 m and 1 m diameter ducts over sections of ducts installing towards the working face in Quang Ninh mine.

Abstract: In this work we define a new operator using the extended generalized Sălăgean operator and extended Ruscheweyh operator. Denote by $DR^{m,n}_{\lambda}$ the Hadamard product of the extended generalized Sălăgean operator $D^{m}_{\lambda}$ and extended Ruscheweyh operator $R^{n}$, given by $DR^{m,n}_{\lambda}$ : $\mathcal{A}_{\zeta}^{*} \rightarrow \mathcal{A}_{\zeta}^{*}, DR_{\lambda}^{m,n} f (z, \zeta) = (D_{\lambda}^{m} * R^{n}) f (z, \zeta)$ and $\mathcal{A}_{n, \zeta}^{*} = \{f \in \mathcal{H}(U \times \overline{U}), f(z, \zeta) = z+a_{n+1} + \ldots, z \in U, \zeta \in \overline{U}\}$ is the class of normalized analytic functions with $\mathcal{A}_{\zeta}^{*} \rightarrow \mathcal{A}_{\zeta}^{*}$. The purpose of this paper is to introduce sufficient conditions for strong differential subordination and strong differential superordination involving the operator $DR_{\lambda}^{m,n}$ and also to obtain sandwich-type results.

We investigate the third Hankel determinant problem for some starlike functions in the open unit disc, that are related to shell-like curves and connected with Fibonacci numbers. For this, firstly, we prove a conjecture, posed in [17], for sharp upper bound of second Hankel determinant. In the sequel, we obtain another sharp coefficient bound which we apply in solving the problem of the third Hankel determinant for these functions.

We furnish several necessary and sufficient conditions for the following property: For a topological space X, a continuous selfmapping S of X and a family τ of continuous selfmappings of X, the image under S of every τ-universal element is also τ-universal. An application in operator theory, where we extend results of Bourdon, Herrero, Bes, Herzog and Lemmert, is given. In particular, it is proved that every hypercyclic operator on a real or complex Banach space has a dense invariant linear manifold with maximal algebraic dimension consisting, apart from zero, of vectors which are hypercyclic.
