Opis:
Th e paper presents issues associated with the calibration and supervision of railway specifi c measuring instruments. It starts with considerations regarding the benefi ts associated with the measuring instruments calibration, especially regarding calibration performed by accredited laboratories. Attention is paid to the importance of maintaining traceability and keeping knowledge about measuring instruments’ errors in the context of railway transport safety. It analyses why the number of metrological laboratories off ering accredited calibration of railway specifi c instruments in Poland is insuffi cient. Th e paper makes use of the experience of the Railway Institute Metrological Laboratory. In particular, it uses experience gained in 2017 during the accreditation of AC resistance measurements, which are utilized for accredited measurements of the resistance of slippers with fastening systems, wheel wear profi le measurements with analogue callipers, buff er centre line height over rails running surface measurements and wheel tread diameter measurements based on two contact-points.

Opis:
The article presents basic concepts related to accredited calibration laboratories in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025. It describes in detail one of the only few existing in Poland calibration laboratories which deals with instruments for sound measurements. This laboratory is an interesting case as it is the only one in Poland, located in a company developing new instruments, producing, selling them and conducting their service in all over the world. Thanks to this location, the laboratory is able to provide their services not only in Poland but also abroad, which could affect revenues. In the paper laboratory equipment is presented and the innovative ways to increase measurement throughput is discussed. The calibration and measurement capability developed on the basis of uncertainty budgets is given. The activities carried out during the calibration are presented as well as the contents of the first page of the certificate. In the conclusions the strengths of the laboratory are listed.

Opis:
Organizations certifying professions in the area of accounting and finance play an essential role in shaping and strengthening the professional status of its practitioners. Universities in Poland recognized the importance of international qualifications and established active cooperation with the Asociation of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) to accredit accounting and finance programs. The presented study aims to answer whether ACCA accreditation affects the professional development of accounting and finance specialists in Poland. Its role was also to identify factors that contribute to increasing the professional development of accounting and finance specialists in connection with the accreditation of study programs. To achieve these goals a questionnaire survey was conducted among students from three selected accredited universities in Poland. The analysis of the results obtained was carried out by the use of descriptive statistics and multiple regression. According to students' opinions, the employers' interest in graduates of accredited courses positively influences their career development. In addition to the interest of employers' mentioned above, surveyed women also indicated a higher quality of education in accredited courses, while men stressed the greater prestige of studies as a factor contributing to the development of their professional career. The results of this study are a valuable contribution to the discussion on professional development as well as the impact of accreditation institutions on the training of accounting and finance specialists.

Aby uzyskać produkt o najwyższej jakości potrzebny jest odpowiedni system jakości. Na uzyskanie wysokiej jakości w procesie produkcyjnym wpływa wiele czynników, w tym czynnik związany z pomiarem. Co raz częściej spotyka się w przemyśle współrzędnościową maszynę pomiarową jako "uniwersalne" urządzenie kontrolne. To niewątpliwie skomplikowane urządzenie pomiarowe wymaga odpowiedniego poświadczenia swojej dokładności w certyfikacie wzorcowania. Konieczne minimalne wymagania jakie powinien spełniać system zapewnienia jakości zostały zdefiniowane w normach ISO 9000. W przedsiębiorstwie struktura organizacyjna i procedury systemu zapewnienia jakości udokumentowane są w księdze jakości. W normie ISO 9000:2000 wprowadzono podejście procesowe po to, aby osiągnąć zadowolenie odbiorcy. Praktycznie to odbiorca wyrobu narzuca wymagania jakie musi spełnić producent, w tym również w aspekcie metrologicznym. W szczególności dotyczy to metody kalibracji WMP wybieranej przez odbiorcę. W artykule zwrócono uwagę na róż-\nice występujące w krajowych i międzynarodowych normach.
To obtain the product about the best quality is necessary the suitable system of the quality. On the obtainment of the high quality in the manufacturing process influences many factors, in this the measuring - factor. Often in the industry one comes together the coordinate measuring machine as "the universal" monitor. This complicated measuring - device demands the suitable certificate of the accuracy in the calibration certificate. The necessary minimum requirements for a QM system are set out in EN ISO 9000 standard. By quality management system (QM system), we mean the structural and procedural organization for performing tasks. In the ISO 9000:2000 norm one introduced the approach of a law suit for this, to reach the satisfaction of the receiver. The receiver forces what requirements must be realized by the producer, in this also in the metrological aspect. Especially refers this of the CMMs method calibration. In this paper looks at some of the difficulties caused by the lack of national or international standards for calibration of CMMs.

W artykule przedstawiono ocenę procesu akredytacji laboratorium wzorcującego przyrządy pomiarowe. Opisano wymagania dotyczące systemu zarządzania i wymagania techniczne jakie powinno ono spełnić aby uzyskać, a następnie utrzymać, certyfikat akredytacji. Zwrócono także uwagę na istotny problem subiektywnej oceny laboratorium przez audytorów. Zwrócono uwagę na wagę akredytacji, pokazano mechanizmy jej działania i wykazano, że jej celem jest potwierdzenie jakości wykonywanych prac.
This article presents the evaluation of calibration laboratory in process of accreditation and describes technical and quality requirements which laboratory has to fulfill to achieve the certificate of accreditation. Authors try to emphasize significant problem of subjective authorization of calibration laboratory by assessors. Accreditation is the formal authorization of a laboratory. It demonstrates theirs capability, competence and credibility to carry out the tasks it should be able to do. The concept of calibration laboratory accreditation was developed to provide that a laboratory is competent to perform specific measurements. It provides feedback to laboratories as to whether they are performing their work in accordance with technical competence and appropriate standards especially PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. Laboratory accreditation is a mean to improve customer confidence in the measurement results issued by the laboratory. In Poland institution which makes formal authorizations of laboratories is Polish Center of Accreditation.(PCA). Laboratory has to do a plan to obtaining accreditation and nominate a responsible person as quality manager and technical manager. Accreditation Committee which consists of the lead assessor and technical assessors will examine laboratory. The number of technical assessors will depend on the number of disciplines applied for. If results of final assessment will be satisfying, Accreditation Committee recommends the accreditation for laboratory. Accreditation for a laboratory is valid for a period of four years but each year Accreditation Committee examines laboratories if they want to keep it.

W artykule opisano system oparty na uregulowaniach krajowych i międzynarodowych ustalający w wymiarze krajowym i ponadgranicznym ramy nadzoru rynku produktów i usług w celu zapewnienia ochrony interesów publicznych, takich jak ogólne zdrowie i bezpieczeństwo, zdrowie i bezpieczeństwo w miejscu pracy, ochrona konsumentów, ochrona środowiska i bezpieczeństwa publicznego.
In the article there are presented hypothesis proving that accreditation and conformity assessment system are the tools having essential influence on the level of public security. Activity of the accredited conformity assessment bodies are shown in six fields of security. In the article there is also described the system based on the national and international regulation, establishing within the national and cross border dimension the framework for market surveillance of products and services in order to ensure protection of public interests such as health and safety in general, health and safety at the workplace, protection of consumers, protection of the environment and public security.

Celem artykułu jest prezentacja wybranych przepisów, które definiują warunki funkcjonowania zewnętrznego systemu oceny jakości opieki zdrowotnej w podmiotach leczniczych. Wpisują się one w obszar kontroli realizowanej przede wszystkim przez administrację państwową. Przedstawiono również wyniki kontroli NIK w tej dziedzinie, wzbogacając je o standardy badań przyjmowane przez tę instytucję. Opracowanie uwzględnia obserwacje autora wynikające z jego pracy naukowej oraz doświadczeń zawodowych.
In the article, provisions have been discussed that define the conditions for the ope rations of the external system for evaluating the quality of healthcare in treatment entities. These are part of the audit conducted, in the first place, by the state admini stration. Also, the results of NIK’s audit in the area have been presented, enriched with the standards of NIK’s examination. The material includes the author’s observations stemming from his scientific dissertation and professional experience. They indicate that the persons who manage treatment entities frequently decide to implement ac creditation programmes of the CMJ. It can be assumed that its objective is to certify that the entity meets the standards for providing healthcare services. Unfortunately, due to the lack of legislative solutions that would provide for a proper, i.e. based on transparency and precise criteria, course of the accreditation process, it needs to be assumed that awarding an accreditation certificate may not translate into the actual improvement in the quality of the medical services provided to patients by the given entity. Considering that the level of such services set out in these standards has an impact on patients’ safety, it should be assumed that the accreditation system, tre ated as external control does not directly affect the operations of treatment entities. Modification of the existing quality assessment system is vital mainly from the per spective of preventing errors in the treatment process.

Akredytacja będąca gwarantem jakości jest odpowiedzią na rozwój globalny w wielu dziedzinach życia społecznego. Taką dziedziną jest również kształcenie. Stąd też placówki kształcenia legitymujące się posiadaniem certyfikatu stanowią wiarygodne miejsce zdobywania nowych kompetencji. W artykule podjęto się próby przedstawienia problematyki akredytacyjnej na kanwie obowiązujących przepisów prawa. Za pomocą metody analizy normy prawnej jednoznacznie wskazano na zasadność zarówno ubiegania się o akredytację, jak i jej uzyskiwania. W konkluzji sformułowano tezę, że w kontekście wartości, jaką jest akredytacja, powinna ona mieć cechy obligatoryjności, nie zaś – jak to jest w aktualnych przepisach prawa – jedynie fakultatywności.
Accreditation, which guarantees quality, embodies a response to the global development in many areas of the social life. Education is an analogous field. Therefore, the educational institutions awarded a certificate constitute a reliable place for acquiring new competences. The article attempts to present accreditation issues on the ground of the applicable law. Through analysis of the legal norms, the application of accreditation and the process of obtaining it, is presented in the paper. This leads to the conclusion that in the context of the value of accreditation, it should have the obligatory aspect rather than - as it is under currently binding law - only optional character.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wymagań konsumentów dotyczących jakości usług świadczonych przez medyczne laboratoria diagnostyczne, jak również czynników, które wpływają na wybór danego laboratorium przez konsumentów. Ponadto dokonano oceny podstawowej wiedzy konsumentów na temat akredytacji laboratoriów. W artykule przedstawiono przepisy prawne dotyczące medycznych laboratoriów diagnostycznych, wymagania związane z akredytacją tych usług, a także wyniki badania ankietowego przeprowadzonego wśród konsumentów korzystających z usług medycznych laboratoriów diagnostycznych na rynku trójmiejskim.
The aim of the article is to present the consumers’ requirements concerning the quality of the services provided by medical diagnostics laboratories, as well as factors which influence the consumers’ choice of a particular laboratory. Moreover, the evaluation of the consumers’ basic knowledge about the laboratory accreditation was carried out. The article discussed legal provisions regarding medical diagnostics laboratories, requirements connected with the accreditation of these services, as well the results of the survey study conducted among the consumers who are provided services by medical diagnostics laboratories on the Trójmiasto market.

Artykuł opisuje koncepcję badania uwarunkowań funkcjonowania akredytowanego systemu zarządzania jakością w akredytowanym laboratorium badawczym. W Polsce jednostką udzielającą akredytacji jest Polskie Centrum Akredytacji. Do tej pory analizowane były m.in. procesy badawcze i proces akredytacji. Nie prowadzono badań dotyczących funkcjonowania akredytowanego systemu zarządzania jakością w laboratoriach badawczych. Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia sposób wyboru grupy badawczej oraz etapy prowadzenia badań. Praca w dalszej części zmierza do zbadania uwarunkowań funkcjonowania akredytowanego systemu zarządzania jakością oraz określenia obszarów systemu zarządzania jakością, które stwarzają laboratoriom najwięcej problemów.
The work describes the concept of investigation conditions of accreditation quality management system in a research laboratory. In Poland, the institution that granting accreditation is Polish Centre for Accreditation. Until now, theresearch processes and the accreditation process have been analyzed, but there were no studies on the functioning of the quality management system in accredited testing laboratories. This article shows how will be selected the research group and the stages taking under research. The work aims to investigate the conditions functioning of an accredited quality management system and identify areas of quality management system, which create laboratories most problems.

W laboratoriach Państwowego Zakładu Higieny wykonujących badania dla klientów zawsze przestrzegano zasad dobrej praktyki laboratoryjnej i dbano o rzetelność wyników badań. W 2003 r. laboratoria wykonujące badania z zakresu bezpieczeństwa żywności powołano do roli krajowych laboratoriów referencyjnych. To, oraz konieczność dostosowania standardów pracy do wymagań ustawodawstwa WE oraz potwierdzenia posiadanych kompetencji przez niezależną organizację doprowadziło w 2003 r. do podjęcia decyzji o ubieganiu się o akredytację Polskiego Centrum Akredytacji. Przedstawiono następujące etapy budowy i wdrażania systemu zarządzania: szkolenia, modyfikacja struktury organizacyjnej Instytutu, opracowanie dokumentacji systemu zarządzania, remonty, wdrożeniu nadzoru nad wyposażeniem pomiarowym i badawczym, audity wewnętrzne oraz przegląd zarządzania. Zwrócono uwagę na przydatność wcześniejszych doświadczeń i osiągnięć w zakresie walidacji metod badawczych oraz zapewniania jakości wyników poprzez organizację i udział w badaniach biegłości. Podano aktualny stan akredytacji metod badawczych stosowanych przez laboratoria PZH wykonujące badania w zakresie chemii, mikrobiologii, radiobiologii i diagnostyki medycznej.
The rules of good laboratory practice have always been observed in the laboratories of National Institute of Hygiene (NIH) and the reliability of the results has been carefully cared after when performing tests for clients. In 2003 the laboratories performing analyses related to food safety were designated as the national reference laboratories. This, added to the necessity of compliance with work standards and requirements of EU legislation and to the need of confirmation of competence by an independent organisation, led to a decision to seek accreditation of Polish Centre of Accreditation (PCA). The following stages of building and implementation of management system were presented: training, modifications of Institute's organisational structure, elaboration of management system's documentation, renovation and refurbishment of laboratory facilities, implementation of measuring and test equipment's supervision, internal audits and management review. The importance of earlier experiences and achievements with regard to validation of analytical methods and guarding of the quality of the results through organisation and participation in proficiency tests was highlighted. Current status of accreditation of testing procedures used in NIH laboratories that perform analyses in the field of chemistry, microbiology, radiobiology and medical diagnostic tests was presented.

Material characterization and assessment is a crucial stage in most of aviation and aeronautical research and a basis for further design and testing of more complex aircraft elements and structures. Material test’s reliability can only be guaranteed by conducting them at independent and reliable laboratories, operating based on a management system assessed by a third-party such as the accreditation according to the ISO / IEC 17025 or NADCAP or having the qualification of the second-party based on specific customer requirements. This paper introduces basic requirements for material testing laboratories according to accreditation systems and describes its responsibilities as qualified and reliable testing suppliers.

Opis:
Continuous program improvement and expectations of productivity of academic departments necessitate the use of web-based information sharing. This paper outlines how simple-to-use web-based environments such as documents repositories and collaborative ABET workspaces can improve the workflow of an academic department. They can boost the departmental productivity and faculty involvement in many aspects of teaching and accreditation efforts, and assist with faculty, staff and students interaction. Such environments reduce email communications and can vary by their degree of interactivity. Document repositories can be read-only, while interactive workspaces will typically extend read-write privileges to all participants. Furthermore, collaborative workspaces offer a democratic and open environment that encourages faculty and staff interaction. Finally, such workspaces remain easily scalable for projects of any size, and offer simplicity of navigation and easy-to-organize table of contents. The discussion of web-based tools has been illustrated with several examples of departmental repositories and interactive workspaces. Implementation guidelines are also offered for those interested in custom design of such tools.

This article presents the requirements for the establishment of an accredited testing laboratory for photovoltaic modules with crystalline silicon. A process of the construction of the testing laboratory for PV modules, based on the expansion of an existing accredited testing laboratory, is proposed. The chosen standard test procedures in the field of the safety and quality of the operation of photovoltaic modules with crystalline silicon are described in detail. The analysis can help in making a rational decision on the appointment of an accredited laboratory for photovoltaic modules, particularly when there already is apparatus for performing tests in accordance with the Low Voltage Directive and the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive.
W artykule zaprezentowano wymagania dotyczące utworzenia akredytowanego laboratorium badawczego modułów fotowoltaicznych z krzemu krystalicznego. Zaproponowano proces utworzenia laboratorium badań modułów PV na bazie rozbudowy istniejącego akredytowanego laboratorium badawczego. Przedstawiono szczegółowo wybrane normatywne procedury badawcze z zakresu bezpieczeństwa i jakości funkcjonowania modułów fotowoltaicznych z krzemu krystalicznego. Zaprezentowana analiza może wspomóc podjęcie racjonalnej decyzji o powołaniu akredytowanego laboratorium badań modułów fotowoltaicznych, w szczególności w przypadku posiadania wyposażenia do realizacji badań zgodnych z wymaganiami Dyrektywy Niskonapięciowej lub Kompatybilności Elektromagnetycznej.

The paper addresses the benefits from accreditation of an Engineering program. The criteria for accreditation are also being discussed as well as the cost of domestic and outside of the United States (US) accreditation. The paper also contains procedures for curriculum development as well as evaluation and assessment. Implementation of a comprehensive continuous quality improvement process (CQI) for individual courses as well as the entire Engineering program is being discussed and analyzed. The conclusions include practical recommendations for the effective closing of the CQI loop.

A laboratory is an organization which operates a quality system, has technical competence, generates valid results and its quality system and technical competence are conformed and recognized. A cryptology laboratory operates in information technology security area, where cryptographic methods of information protection play main role. Appropriate confidence, correctness and effectiveness of security services is needed and may be achieved trough development, evaluation, accreditation and certification processes performed by competent and commonly recognized organizations like: laboratories, certification and accreditation bodies. We describe in the paper the accreditation and certification structure and the IT security framework and also the role of the cryptology laboratory in this structure and framework.

In this paper the activity at the accredited Calibration Laboratory of the Building Research Institute in 2012 is described. Laboratory initiated the system of management and PCA granted the certificate of accreditation in 2008. The task of laboratory to be accredited is the maintenance of initiated system of management as well as his improvement. The standard requirements of Polish Centre of Accreditation (PCA) are described in PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 General requirements for the competence of the testing and calibration laboratories.

Ważnym i trudnym etapem na tym polu było ubieganie się - i po znacznych trudach uzyskanie - prawa do nadawania absolwentom tytułu zawodowego: magister inżynier architektury krajobrazu. Kolejnym wielkim krokiem w doskonaleniu młodego kierunku stało się dążenie do jego międzynarodowej akredytacji. Po kolejnej serii poważnych starań i zabiegów, w ostatnich dniach sukces ten został osiągnięty. Kierunek Architektura Krajobrazu na Wydziale Architektury w Politechnice Krakowskiej uzyskał międzynarodową akredytację ze strony EFLA - European Foundation for Landscape Architects, czyli Europejskiej Fundacji Architektury Krajobrazu.
Author of the article, in the middle of the 90', managing a initiating group composed of friends, professors and assistants of IAK on Department of Architecture at Cracow University of Technology, operating within course of Architecture and Urban Design, has started efforts to create on the CUT, on the same Department - course of Landscape Architecture. After very difficult years of effort, it was crowned with success - the inferred and prepared course of Landscape Architecture has become a fact and every year it presents higher quality. The important and difficult phase was competing - after many difficulties - to right of awarding by the professional title: MSc in Landcsape Architecture. The next step in improvement of the young course was aspiration of the international accreditaion. After next number of efforts, the success was achieved few day ago. The course of Landscape Architecture at Department of Architecture on CUT has obtained international accreditation from EFLA - European Foundation for Landscape Architects.

Opis:
The origin and development of engineering pedagogy as a subdiscipline of pedagogy in Ukraine and in foreign countries is analyzed. The outstanding role of the founder of IGIP Professor Adolf Melecinek in the processes of formation of an international scientific school of engineering pedagogy and creation of conditions for professional-pedagogical and psychological training of teachers of technical disciplines as a factor in training competitive engineers is discussed. The essence, content and structure of professional training of future engineers with the aim of forming professional competences are highlighted. The features of the cognitive and practical activities of future engineers are revealed. The components and conditions for increasing the efficiency of the formation of the engineer’s professional competence and his readiness have been determined. Particular attention is given to the quality of academic teaching is decisively determined by the qualifications and competencies of the teaching staff, which also include university pedagogical capabilities. Therefore, it has been substantiated that with the growing environment and consciousness of “outcome-based education”, the importance of engineering pedagogy has increased manifold.
Artykuł dotyczy pochodzenia i rozwoju pedagogiki inżynierskiej w Ukrainie i w innych krajach. Omówiono wybitną rolę założyciela IGIP profesora Adolfa Melecinka w procesach kształtowania się międzynarodowej szkoły naukowej pedagogiki inżynierskiej oraz tworzenia warunków do profesjonalnego pedagogicznego i psychologicznego przygotowania nauczycieli dyscyplin technicznych jako czynnika kształcenia konkurencyjnego inżyniera. Zwrócono uwagę na istotę, treść i strukturę szkolenia zawodowego przyszłych inżynierów w celu kształtowania kompetencji zawodowych. Ujawniono cechy poznawczej i praktycznej działalności przyszłych inżynierów. Określono składowe i warunki zwiększenia efektywności kształtowania kompetencji zawodowych inżyniera oraz jego gotowości. Szczególną uwagę przywiązuje się do jakości nauczania akademickiego, która w decydującym stopniu determinowana jest kwalifikacjami i kompetencjami kadry dydaktycznej, do których zalicza się również uniwersyteckie możliwości pedagogiczne. Zaznaczono, że wraz z rosnącym środowiskiem i świadomością „edukacji opartej na wynikach” znaczenie pedagogiki inżynierskiej wzrosło wielokrotnie.

Standardy i wskazówki zapewniania jakości dla EOSW (ESG) zostały wprowadzone w 2005 roku i nieco zmodyfikowane w roku 2015, jako element Procesu Bolońskiego. Ustanowiły one ramy dla wewnętrznych i zewnętrznych systemów zapewniania jakości w uczelniach i systemach szkolnictwa wyższego w Europie. W pewnej mierze ukształtowały one polski model akredytacji, jednakże pomiędzy nim a zaleceniami ESG dają się zauważyć rozbieżności, zwłaszcza dotyczące postulatu budowy kultury jakości w polskich uczelniach.

The quality management systems compliant with the ISO 9001:2009 have been thoroughly researched and described in detail in the world literature. The accredited management systems used in the testing laboratories and compliant with the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 have been mainly described in terms of the system design and implementation. They have also been investigated from the analytical point of view. Unfortunately, a low number of studies concerned the management system functioning in the accredited testing laboratories. The aim of following study was to assess the management system functioning in the accredited testing laboratories in Poland. On 8 October 2015, 1,213 accredited testing laboratories were present in Poland. They investigated various scientific areas and substances/objects. There are more and more such laboratories that have various problems and different long-term experience when it comes to the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the management systems. The article describes the results of the conducted expert assessment (survey) carried out to examine the conditions for the functioning of a management system in an accredited laboratory. It also focuses on the characteristics of the accredited research laboratories in Poland. The authors discuss the selection of the external and internal conditions that may affect the accredited management system. They show how the experts assessing the selected conditions were chosen. The survey results are also presented.

W opracowaniu przedstawiono rozwój prywatnych podmiotów doradczych, przy czym w pierwszej kolejności analizowano zjawisko w skali całego kraju, a następnie przeprowadzono sondaż wśród 58 respondentów. W okresie od 2008-do 2012 roku powstało 157 licencjonowanych podmiotów doradczych, które w większości były kierowane przez mężczyzn (63,7%). Lokalizację znalazły przede wszystkim na terenie gmin i innych miejscowości wiejskich (52,2%), w mniejszym zaś zakresie w miastach powiatowych czy wojewódzkich. Badani doradcy charakteryzowali się wyższym wykształceniem, pozostawali na ogół w młodym wieku i w większości przypadków, zakładając prywatną firmę doradczą, przedtem pracowali w ODR. Wśród motywów skłaniających ich do pracy na własny rachunek wymieniano chęć usamodzielnienia się czy sprawdzenie się w biznesie. Główną uwagę w procesie doradczym zwracali na udzielanie porad odnośnie dopłat bezpośrednich, PROW, w tym zwłaszcza korzystania z usług doradczych w powiązaniu ze spełnianiem wymogów wzajemnej zgodności oraz prowadzaniem dokumentacji rolniczej.
The paper presents the development of private advisory bodies. First there was analyzed the phenomenon in the whole country and then conducted a survey of 58 respondents. During the period 2008-2012 there were created 157 licensed advisory entities, most of which were run by male owners (63.7%). There were mainly located in rural municipalities and villages (52.2%) and to a lesser extent in county and provinces towns. The surveyed advisors were characterized by higher education level and generally remained at a young age, in most cases assuming a private consulting firm and previously worked in the state advisory center. Among the motives for their work on their own they mentioned the desire to become independent and trying themselves in business. The main attention in the counseling process was paid to give advice with regard to direct payments, RDP, use of advisory services in connection with the fulfillment of cross-compliance requirements and conducting agricultural documentation.

Opis:
Surgical interventions in patients with peritoneal metastases combined with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) and systemic treatment are becoming more common and, when applied to selected patient groups, they reach 5-year survival rates of 32–52%. Good clinical outcomes require experienced and well-equipped healthcare centers, experienced surgical team and adequate patient qualification process. As a result of the discussion on the need for evaluation of quality of care and treatment outcomes and at the request of the Peritoneal Cancer Section of the Polish Society of Surgical Oncology, accreditation standards have been developed and the Accreditation Committee has been established for healthcare centers providing cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC for the management of primary and secondary peritoneal cancers.
