Opis:
NFT gained widespread popularity in 2021, and world museums are the ones that have taken an interest in it. It was due to the financial problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Creating an NFT of the museum’s artwork and its sale is to be one of the solutions. In this paper, the Author analyses challenges and opportunities regarding the creation and sale of NFTs by museums in the eyes of Article 9 of the Act on Museums. This artiles emphasizes selected opportunities and challenges, such as the instability of the value of cryptocurrency, viewers’ interest in NFTs, the correlation between the ownership of an NFT and the museum’s artwork, and, last but not least, the equipment and staffing requirements. Before making the final decision, museums would have to face them. The penultimate part of the paper includes Polish museum professionals’ opinions on this topic.

The digital transformation of public relations has become possible with the introduction of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, immersive technologies, and data analytics. These technologies make it possible to create a metaverse where communication, knowledge acquisition, work, business, investment, creativity, and much more are available to everyone. The article offers an in-depth analysis of the institutional legal framework governing the international financial architecture within the realm of digital transformation. It explores regulatory mechanisms and developmental trends within the legal and financial systems of both the European Union and the Republic of Poland. The study delves into instances of commercial fraud involving digital assets, thoroughly examining their implications on the traditional financial system. In the virtual world, the capital market has no borders and jurisdictions. False and unreliable information has become an instrument of manipulation by society and is actively used by market participants. The conventional financial system experiences a loss of control over its functions, particularly in the process of converting fiat funds into digital assets. Decentralized finance regulated by cryptocurrency can replace the Bretton – Woods system. Blockchain is “a technology of utmost honesty” in data transmission. The task of society is to be guided by ethical, social, moral, and environmental aspects in the initial placement of information. The effectiveness of legal regulation of the digital environment is possible only with the adoption of regulations, rules, and recommendations of international organizations in the legislation of each country. A single principle of legal regulation will allow us to build a more just world and its sustainable development.

Na przestrzeni wieków w Uniejowie nigdy nie działała żadna mennica, nie doszło także do produkcji miejscowego pieniądza zastępczego. Dopiero w XXI w. pojawiły się w Uniejowie pamiątkowe żetony. Pierwsze uniejowskie numizmaty zostały wybite w 2006 r., a ostatnie pochodzą z 2019 r. W ciągu tych 13 lat mieszkańcy Uniejowa, turyści oraz kolekcjonerzy mogli zgromadzić aż 10 uniejowskich numizmatów.
Over the long history of Uniejów, no mint had functioned in the city nor any local token money was produced there. Only in the 21st century special souvenir coins from Uniejów appeared. The first of these tokens were minted in 2006, the last ones in 2019. Within these 13 years the inhabitants of Uniejów, tourists and also collectors could collect as many as 10 souvenir tokens from Uniejów.

Opis:
A wireless sensor system is an essential aspect in many fields. It consists of a great deal of sensor nodes. These sensor networks carry out a number of tasks, including interaction, distribution, recognition, and power supply. Data is transmitted from source to destination and plays an important role. Congestion may occur during data transmission from one node to another and also at cluster head locations. Congestion will arise as a result of either traffic division or resource allocation. Energy will be wasted due to traffic division congestion, which causes packet loss and retransmission of removed packets. As a result, it must be simplified; hence there are a few Wireless sensor networks with various protocols that will handle Congestion Control. The Deterministic Energy Efficient Clustering (DEC) protocol, which is fully based on residual energy and the token bucket method, is being investigated as a way to increase the energy efficiency. In the event of congestion, our proposal provides a way to cope with it and solves it using this method to improve lifespan of the sensor networks. Experiments in simulation show that the proposed strategy can significantly enhance lifetime, energy, throughput, and packet loss.

NFT zyskały ogromną popularność w 2021 r. i znalazły się w kręgu zainteresowań światowych muzeów, które borykają się z trudnościami finansowymi wywołanymi przez pandemię COVID-19. Tworzenie NFT na podstawie muzealiów i ich sprzedaż na rynku międzynarodowym dla muzeów może być jednym ze sposobów na pozyskanie dodatkowych funduszy na działalność tych instytucji. Celem opracowania jest analiza wyzwań i możliwości dotyczących tworzenia i sprzedaży NFT przez muzea, uwzględniając art. 9 Ustawy z dnia 21 listopada 1996 r. o muzeach. W artykule wskazano na wybrane szanse i wyzwania, takie jak: niestabilność wartości kryptowaluty, zainteresowanie zwiedzających daną tematyką czy relacja prawa własności NFT do prawa własności muzealiów oraz wymogi sprzętowe i kadrowe, z którymi muzeum musi się zmierzyć przed podjęciem ostatecznej decyzji. Przybliżone zostały również opinie na ten temat, pozyskane w ramach badania sondażowego przeprowadzonego we wrześniu 2022 r.

Blockchain has been one of the leading technology breakthroughs in recent years. It has enabled the creation of multiple cryptocurrencies and tokens which, amongst others, financed the activities of various startup projects. The last few years have seen the emergence of another blockchain-enabled product – Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) which are a digital certificate of ownership. Both NFTs and tokens are wider part of the creation of a metaverse – a new digital, online environment. This article analyses theoretical aspects of cryptocurrencies, tokens, NFTs and metaverse. The fundraising and token issuance aspects are analysed here based on examples of startups Metahero, Ultiarena and Bloktopia.
Blockchain to jeden z wiodących przełomów technologicznych ostatnich lat. Umożliwił on stworzenie wielu kryptowalut i tokenów, które m.in. pozwoliły sfinansować działalność różnych projektów startupowych. Ostatnie lata zaowocowały pojawieniem się kolejnego produktu bazującego na blockchain – Non Fungible Tokens (NFT), które są cyfrowym certyfikatem własności. Zarówno NFT, jak i tokeny są szerszą częścią tworzenia metaverse – nowego cyfrowego świata. Artykuł analizuje teoretyczne aspekty kryptowalut, tokenów, NFT i metaverse. Aspekty fundraisingu i emisji tokenów zostały opracowane na przykładach startupów Metahero, Ultiarena i Bloktopia.

The financial crisis of 2007/08 had shattered the global financial system and led – besides a flood of regulations – to a wide range of new concepts and business models. One of these new concepts was “Bitcoin”, a private digital monetary system, which is characterized by decentralization, transparency and immutability. To date the underlying Blockchain or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) has evolved and offers an extensive range of possibilities, particularly in the financial industry. So far, an EU-wide legal basis for Blockchain or DLT applications and services is missing. France and the Principality of Liechtenstein took a step forward and adopted national laws trying to offer legal certainty in this field. This article aims to provide a comparison of the two acts and underline the similarities and differences.

This article focuses on the very first working draft of new crypto-asset regulation within the European Union. The primary aim of this article is to evaluate the newly defined institutes in the draft and confirm or disprove the hypothesis that this new system of crypto-assets may be implemented to the actual regulation of capital markets as well as payment system, in effect within the European Union. As mentioned above, hypothesis will count on an ideal adoption of the MiCA regulation into the existing legal framework of both, capital markets as well as payments regulation in the European Union, not interfering with existing laws or regulations. Within the first part of this article, synthesis will be used as well as compilation for the description of crypto-asset categories and of the issuers of crypto-assets or crypto-asset service providers. Subsequently, analysis will be applied for the specification of missing elements for the purpose of finding the right connection and implementation into the existing regulation of capital markets and payments industry.

Postępujący rozwój nowych technologii przyczynia się do coraz częstszego wykorzystania smart kontraktu w obrocie konsumenckim. W kontekście potencjalnych zagrożeń, które mogą spotkać konsumentów, szczególnie istotna jest niezmienialność smart kontraktów. W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono dlaczego należy poświęcić uwagę konsumentom korzystającym z inteligentnych kontraktów. Artykuł koncentruje się na możliwych rozwiązaniach problemów towarzyszących konsumentom dokonującym czynności prawnych przy użyciu smart kontraktów na każdym etapie dokonywania transakcji, począwszy od etapu przedkontraktowego, przez zawarcie umowy, aż do jej wykonania.

W artykule podjęto pytanie, jakie koncepcje wychowawcze w opiece pobytowej odpowiednio przygotowują młodzież do opuszczenia placówki opiekuńczej i rozpoczęcia samodzielnego życia. W tym celu w artykule zebrano dwie debaty i obszary badawcze: Jeden dyskurs dotyczy wyników badań dotyczących szczególnej sytuacji osób usamodzielniających się, które często muszą poradzić sobie przy mniejszych zasobach niż rówieśnicy, którzy opuszczają dom rodzinny. Drugi dyskurs dotyczy krytyki grup opieki pobytowej, które działają w oparciu o system kar i systemy żetonowe. Jest to szczegółowo omawiane na podstawie studium przypadku grupy, w której personel nadużył władzy w imię behawioralnego podejścia IntraActPlus. Analizy danych dokonano na podstawie fragmentów codziennej dokumentacji profesjonalistów. Pokazano, jak systematyczne kary wpływają na interakcje i relacje wychowawcze między profesjonalistami a młodymi ludźmi będącymi pod opieką oraz jak potrzeby młodych ludzi gasną dzięki ściśle behawiorystycznemu spojrzeniu na działania i codzienne życie nastolatków. Na tle ustaleń empirycznych wyciągnięto wniosek, w jaki sposób koncepcje grupowe mogą promować młodych ludzi w procesach rozwoju subiektywnego, w nauce radzenia sobie z konfliktami oraz w procesie ich usamodzielniania się.
The article deals with the question of what kind of educational concepts in residential care adequately prepare young people for leaving care, and for the transition to a self-determined life. For this purpose, two debates, and research fields are brought together in the article: One discourse concerns the re-search findings on the specific situation of care leavers, who often have to master the transition to self-employment with fewer resources than peers, who move out from family home. The other discourse concerns the critique about residential care groups, which work with systematic punishment and token systems. It is discussed in depth on the basis of a case study of a group in which the staff abused power in the name of the behavioural IntraActPlus approach. Data analyses is done by excerpts from the daily documentation of the professionals. It is shown how systematic punishment affects the inter-action, and educational relationship between professionals and young people in care, and how the young people ́s needs are faded out by a strictly behaviouristic perspective on adolescents actions and everyday life. Against the background of the empirical findings, the conclusion is drawn as to how group concepts can promote young people in care in subjective development processes, in learning to handle conflicts, and in their independence processes.

Opis:
Zmiany w zakresie mowy i komunikacji obserwuje się zarówno w otępieniu z ciałami Lewy’ego (DLB), jak i w chorobie Alzheimera (AD). Badanie miało na celu wyodrębnienie różnic międzygrupowych i ich aspektów leksykalnych i syntaktycznych w mowie wiązanej. W badaniu uczestniczyło 12 pacjentów z DLB oraz 13 osób z AD. Analizie poddano przetranskrybowane wypowiedzi będące opisem obrazka sytuacyjnego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem pierwszej minuty narracji. W wypowiedziach pacjentów z DLB odnotowano mniejszą liczbę słów i zaimków określonych niż w wypowiedziach osób z AD. Chorzy z AD tworzyli natomiast dłuższe wypowiedzi i w ciągu minuty wypowiadali więcej słów. Wyniki zinterpretowano w odniesieniu do profilu poznawczego typowego dla DLB oraz AD. Zaburzenia dyskursu w AD są związane z deficytami leksykalno-semantycznymi, które zubożają zawartość informacyjną tworzonej wypowiedzi.
Changes in speech and communication are seen in both dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) and Alzheimer’s disease (AD). The study aimed at delineating differences between two groups in terms of lexical and syntactic aspects of connected speech. 12 patients with DLB and 13 patients with AD participated in the study. Transcriptions of patients’ recordings documenting the performance of the picture description task were analysed, with emphasis on the first minute of the recording. DLB patients used fewer words and definite pronouns than AD patients. Individuals with AD produced longer utterances and used more words per minute. The results are interpreted in the context of cognitive profile typical for DLB and AD. Discourse inefficiency in AD seems to be related to lexical and semantic deficits leading to lower idea density.

Nowadays the fields of MANET have yielded more and more popularity and thus MANET have become a subject of great interest for the researchers to enforce research activities. Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is the cooperative engagement of a collection of mobile nodes without the required intervention of any centralized access point or existing infrastructure. There is an increasing trend to adopt mobile ad hoc networking for commercial uses. Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is an emerging area of research to provide various communication services to the end users. But these communication services of Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) use high capacity of bandwidth and a big amount of internet speed. Bandwidth optimization is indispensable in various communications for successful acceptance and deployment of such a technology. Thinking of this, I propose a New Bandwidth Optimization Technique that Enhance the Performance of Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET). The new Bandwidth optimization technique which is more efficient in terms of time delay in Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) can redirect a new way towards optimization development in network communication and device junction technology.

Poszukiwania nowej ontologicznej kategorii w języku: podtypy zdarzeń Przeprowadzone analizy nieosobowych konstrukcji zwrotnych z logicznym podmiotem w celowniku, a także dyspozycyjnych konstrukcji medialnych właściwych językowi polskiemu pozwalają nam sformułować hipotezę, że inwentarz konceptualizacji zdarzeń w teorii języka powinien być poszerzony o kategorię podtypów zdarzeń, obok typów zdarzeń i zdarzeń pojedynczych. Morfo-syntaksa i syntaksa zdań z powyższymi konstrukcjami wydają się sugerować, że taka dodatkowa kategoria jest niezbędna, aby wyjaśnić zjawiska występowania modyfikacji adwerbialnych sposobu w odniesieniu do modyfikacji czasu i miejsca, a także występowania podmiotu logicznego czy też wykonawcy czynności w niecharakterystycznej dla języka polskiego formie przypadka. Podobnie wyjaśnienia wymagają ograniczenia dotyczącego występowania w takich zdaniach przysłówków nakierowanych na wykonawcę czynności. Wydaje się, że zaproponowanie dodatkowej kategorii podtypu wydarzenia może pomóc wyjaśnić genezę takiej charakterystycznej (morfo)syntaksy zdań.
Our analyses of reflexive impersonals with dative logical subjects and of dispositional middles proper in Polish result in the hypothesis that the inventory of event categories represented in linguistic theory should be broadened to include event sub-kinds, alongside event kinds and event tokens. The morpho-syntax and syntax of clauses containing the two types of structures mentioned above seem to suggest that one more ontological category is needed to account for the distribution of manner modifiers vs. spatio-temporal modifiers, logical subjects (or agentive participants) in the non-canonical case forms, as well as to explain the distribution of agent-oriented adverbs in the relevant sentences in Polish. Reflexive impersonal clauses with dative logical subjects and the ones containing dispositional middles proper differ significantly from the clauses addressing event kinds and event tokens. Consequently, they require a different treatment in linguistic theory.
