This is an experimental novel in which the idea of predestination has been developed. The writer uses aesthetic experience of literary predecessors and contemporaries. Quotations from other sources are frequent.

Opis:
A sensorless indirect stator-flux-oriented control (ISFOC) induction motor drive at very low frequencies is presented herein. The model reference adaptive system (MRAS) scheme is used to estimate the speed and the rotor resistance simultaneously. However, the error between the reference and the adjustable models, which are developed in the stationary stator reference frame, is used to drive a suitable adaptation mechanism that generates the estimates of speed and the rotor resistance from the stator voltage and the machine current measurements. The stator flux components in the stationary reference frame are estimated through a pure integration of the back electro-motive force (EMF) of the machine. When the machine is operated at low speed, the pure integration of the back EMF introduces an error in flux estimation which affects the performance torque and speed control. To overcome this problem, pure integration is replaced with a programmable cascaded low-pass filter (PCLPF). The stability analysis method of the MRAS estimator is verified in order to show the robustness of the rotor resistance variations. Experimental results are presented to prove the effectiveness and validity of the proposed scheme of sensorless ISFOC induction motor drive.

Opis:
The 1 to 1 relationships of charts of accounts, accounting journals and tables of accounting records with corresponding tables of accounts, business transactions and transactional records in the framework EPC II system have been presented in the paper. These tables are the main information kinds, that is tables in which one can write down all information needed for management and business process control in any enterprise, or they are composed of them. In this way it has been shown that the Theory of Enterprise Process Control is compatible with generally accepted accounting principles. This analysis is an example of demonstrating conformity of the EPC II theory with real management and process control systems. The main information kinds with their key attributes were taken from the complete list of them, which is included in the paper. What is more, the tight relationships between resource flow in business processes and turnover on the accounts of the framework EPC II system have been discussed. Owing to these relationships one can determine the impact of any decision variable on the accounting records in a given enterprise.

Opis:
Dynamically positioned vessels, used by offshore industry, use not only satellite navigation but also different positioning systems, often referred to as ‘reference’ systems. Most of them use multiple technical devices located outside the vessel which creates some problems with their accessibility and performance. In this paper, a basic concept of reference system independent from any external device is presented, basing on hydroacoustics and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) method. Theoretical analysis of its operability is also performed.

Artykuł stanowi wprowadzenie do tomu „Przeglądu Socjologii Jakościowej” poświęconego socjologii i antropologii w ich wzajemnych relacjach. Obie dziedziny zostały w nim opisane jako systemy komunikacyjne w perspektywie teorii Niklasa Luhmanna, by za pomocą przywołanej w ten sposób pojęciowości oraz mechaniki procesów systemowych ująć w perspektywie diachronicznej problem granic obu dziedzin. Autorki pokazują na przykładach tekstów konstytutywnych dla socjologii i antropologii, jak wyróżnicowywały się one, domykały i zaznaczały swoje granice, by później – głównie ze względu na zwielokrotnione i niejednorodne odniesienia do środowiska – nie być w stanie ich utrzymać.

Opis:
A new approach to manage actuator redundancy in the presence of faults is proposed based on reliability indicators and a reference governor. The aim is to preserve the health of the actuators and the availability of the system both in the nominal behavior and in the presence of actuator faults. The use of reference governor control allocation is a solution to distribute the control efforts among a redundant set of actuators. In a degraded situation, a reconfigured control allocation strategy is proposed based on on-line re-estimation of the actuator reliability. A benefit of incorporating reliability indicators into over-actuated control system design is the smart management of the redundant actuators and improvement of the system safety. Moreover, when the fault is severe, an adaptation approach using the reference governor is proposed. The reference governor unit is a reference-offset governor based on a discrete-time predictive control strategy. The idea is to modify the reference according to the system constraints, which become stricter after the occurrence of an actuator fault. The proposed approach is illustrated with a flight control application.

Standardization has contributed significantly to comparable analysis methods for power quality parameters. However, in order to have undisputable results, the measurement values themselves should also be comparable. This can only be achieved by traceability to international measurement standards. For this reason, at VSL, the Dutch national metrology institute, a fully traceable reference setup was developed for calibration of power quality analyzers. In this paper, we show the calibration results of the critical components of the reference setup, we demonstrate its applicability by test measurements on the public low-voltage supply system for specific parameters, and show its ability to simulate and generate events that can be detected and analyzed by both the equipment under test and the reference setup.

Tematyka pracy dotyczy satelitarnego wyznaczania współrzędnych punktów z wykorzystaniem naziemnych systemów satelitarnych danych referencyjnych funkcjonujących na terenie Polski, popularnie nazywanych sieciami stacji referencyjnych. Przedstawiona została historia, budowa i zasada działania takich systemów w Polsce. Od 1 lipca 2016 roku nieodpłatne dotąd dane referencyjne udostępniane w czasie rzeczywistym przez Małopolski System Pozycjonowania Precyzyjnego przestały być dostępne. W pracy przedstawiono i omówiono wyniki pomiaru testowego, które analizowano pod kątem ustalenia jakości wyznaczanych pozycji punktów oraz czy jest możliwe wskazanie najlepszego systemu satelitarnych danych referencyjnych w Polsce.
The subject of this work concerns the determination of the satellite coordinates of the points using ground-based satellite reference operating data for Polish territory, popularly called networks of reference stations. The history, construction and operation of such systems in Poland have been presented. Since July 1st 2016, the reference data, so far free, available in real time by the Malopolska Precise Positioning System are no longer available. The results of a test measurement, which were analysed for determining the quality of designated position points and whether it is possible to identify the best system of satellite reference data in Poland have been presented and discussed in the paper.

The operating zone of a radio navigation system is one of its main operating features. It determines the size of a water body in which the system can be used, while guaranteeing vessels’ navigation safety. The DGPS system in the LF/MF range is now the basic positioning system in coastal waters around the world, which guarantees not only metre positioning accuracy, but it is also the only one to provide navigators with signals on positioning reliability. This paper describes and summarises over twenty years of studies dealing with the operating zone of the Polish DGPS reference station network. This paper is the fifth in a series of publications whose aim was to present in detail the process of installation, testing and long-term evaluation of the navigational parameters of the Polish DGPS system, launched in 1995. This paper includes the theoretical foundations of determination of the Dziwnów and Rozewie DGPS reference station operating zones in the years 1995-2018. Moreover, it presents the measurement results for the signal levels and the results of their analyses, which determine the station operating zones.

W opracowaniu przedstawiono w historycznym zarysie rozwój myśli strategicznego rozwoju kraju – w okresie stowarzyszeniowym z Unią Europejską (1991–2004), a następnie w trakcie pełnego członkostwa Polski w UE. W pierwszym ujęciu omówiono strategię szokową L. Balcerowicza, „Strategię dla Polski” G. Kołodki oraz Narodową Strategię Integracji w latach 1997–2003. Wskazano też na uchwaloną przez Sejm w 2000 roku „Długookresową strategię trwałego i zrównoważonego rozwoju Polski w perspektywie 2025 roku”. W dalszych rozważaniach zaprezentowano treści zawarte w traktacie akcesyjnym do UE i w Narodowym Planie Rozwoju na lata 2004–2006 oraz Narodowe Strategiczne Ramy Odniesienia na lata 2007–2013. W ostatniej części opracowania nawiązano do Strategii „Europa 2020” i w jej kontekście omówiono główne treści i założenia Średniookresowej Strategii Rozwoju Kraju 2020, w tym diagnozę na potrzeby tej strategii oraz obszary strategiczne z uwzględnieniem celów i priorytetów rozwojowych. Nawiązano także do wstępnych założeń strategii rozwoju kraju w perspektywie 2030 roku.
This article presents a historical outline of the development of thought of national development strategy – within the EU association period and then with full membership of Poland in EU. The first part describes the shock strategy of L. Balcerowicz, the “Strategy for Poland” of G. Kołodko and the National Strategy for Integration in 1997-2003. On the other hand, the “Long-term Strategy for Sustained and Sustainable Development – Poland 2025” adopted by the Sejm in 2000 was discussed. Further considerations focus on the content of the Treaty of Accession to EU and the National Development Plan for 2004-2006 as well as the National Strategic Reference Framework for 2007-2013. The last part of this article refers to the Strategy “Europe 2020” and within the context thereof, the main points and assumptions of the Mid-term National Development Strategy 2020 were presented including the diagnosis for the purposes of this strategy as well as strategic areas taking into account developmental objectives and priorities. A reference was also made to the preliminary assumptions of the national development strategy in the perspective of 2030.

Opis:
This article presents data acquisition system developed for the use primarily in Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems. The system consists of several modules which independently function as Air Data Computer, Attitude and Heading Reference System and Flight Data Recorder. Each module works independently from other modules and also provides capability of real time data transmission. The system is capable of wireless data transmission via ZigBee wireless data protocol. The research may be considered as important and valuable due to the fact that it describes innovative concept of “wireless sensors” system. These type of systems are currently only beginning to appear in commercial applications and such wireless systems appear to be a future of metrology in RPAS applications. Features of each module are stated in the article. The prototype device has been tested and confirmed to be operationally functional.

Opis:
The determination of the height in the vertical reference frame in force in Poland is based both on national regulations (Council of Ministers Regulation, 2012) and on the resolution adopted by the EUREF subcommittee in Tromsø (Resolution No. 5, EUREF Symposium, 2000). Currently, the PL-KRON86-NH vertical reference frame is in use in Poland – a normal height system referred to a quasi-geoid of the average level of the Baltic Sea determined by the zero level of the mareograph in Kronstadt. According to the Regulation, by the end of 2019, Poland will adopt the PL-EVRF2007-NH vertical reference frame, i.e. a normal height system referred to the zero level of the mareograph in Amsterdam. The authors present a method of determining normal heights of seabed referred to the zero level of the mareograph in Amsterdam for coastal areas of the Baltic Sea. This method uses GNSS measurements, the EGM 2008 model and depth measuring methods typical for underwater mining.
