Opis:
In the article specificity of the qualitative transformation of the contemporary personal identification practices and strategies in the context of actualization of positive and negative freedom is analyzed. The attempt to reveal ambiguity and discrepancy of the subject’s self-identification process which in modern conditions gets a «plastic» character of active functioning is made. The thesis that phenomenon «freedom» in it actual representations, which actively participating in formation and development of personal identity «plastics», opens in the macro social scale the possibilities of reflective and responsible formation by the individual her or his identity in the structure of diverse social practices is proved.

Opis:
The article presents the results of the empirically confirmed approbation of the training program for the formation of the personal identity of adolescents. A study of the psychological characteristics of adolescents’ identity and the factors that determine the success of the identity crisis is presented. The study reflects the implementation of two stages - ascertaining and forming. Reliable and valid psychodiagnostic methods are used: the method «Who am I?» of M. Kuhn and T. McPartland, methods of studying personal identity of L.B. Schneider, Spielberger- Hanin anxiety scale, the test of semantic life orientations of D.O. Leontiev. Novovolynsk high school № 4 named after T.G. Shevchenko was chosen as the experimental basis of the empirical study, with the participation of 30 respondents, aged 14-16. The first stage covers the data collection on the current state of personal identity of adolescents and the factors that are decisive in the process of its formation, among which are: low rates of «Communicative Self», «Material Self»; high scores according to two identity statuses (pseudo-positive, identity moratorium); low values on the subscales «Purpose in life», «Life process», «Life performance», «Locus of control Self», «Locus of control-life»; high level of anxiety. The areas in which the identity of the adolescent’s personality is best manifested have been identified - «Reflective Self», «Social Self». The formative stage represents the development of the training program «Know Yourself» in order to realize personal identity; comparative analysis of the results obtained during the ascertaining and formative research. As a result of verification of its relevance and effectiveness at the formative stage, a significant increase in the “Communicative Self” of adolescents; reducing the percentage of respondents with a pseudo-positive identity and a moratorium on identity; increase in the indicator of general meaningfulness; reduction of general anxiety. The effectiveness and efficiency of the training program are supported by the Student’s t-test, which presents the importance of indicators of the general level of anxiety and the general level of understanding. Perspective for further research is shown in a detailed study of indicators of personal identity crisis in adolescents in the form of empirical research, which aims to understand the success of adolescent identity and assess individual factors influencing the process of overcoming personal identity crisis.
У статті наведено емпіричні результати апробації тренінгової програми формування особистісної ідентичності осіб підліткового віку. Представлено дослідження психологічних особливостей особистісної ідентичності підлітків та факторів, що визначають успішність перебігу кризи ідентичності. Дослідження відображає реалізацію двох етапів - констатувального та формувального. Першим етапом охоплено збір даних про актуальний стан особистісної ідентичності підлітків та чинники, які є визначальними у процесі її формування, серед яких виділено: низькі показники «Комунікативного Я», «Матеріального Я»; високі показники двох статусів ідентичності (псевдопозитивна, мораторій ідентичності); низькі значення за субшкалами «Цілі в житті», «Процес життя», «Результативність життя», «Локус контролю-Я», «Локус контролю-життя»; високий рівень тривожності. Формувальним етапом репрезентовано розробку тренінгової програми «Пізнай себе», з метою усвідомлення показників особистісної ідентичності; порівняльний аналіз результатів, отриманих у ході констатувального та формувального дослідження. В результаті верифікації її актуальності та ефективності на формувальному етапі встановлено значне зростання показника «Комунікативного Я» підлітків; зниження відсотку досліджуваних із псевдопозитивною ідентичністю та мораторієм ідентичності. Результативність та ефективність тренінгової програми підкріплено t-критерієм Стьюдента, який презентує значимість показників загального рівня тривожності та загального рівня осмисленості.

Wzory osobowe mają duży wpływ na formowanie się młodego człowieka, w tym również kandydata do zawodu nauczyciela. Wynika to z rozwojowej potrzeby posiadania wzorca w zakresie formowanego systemu wartości, postaw, zachowań i cech osobowych. Posiadanie wzorców osobowych jest też ważne z perspektywy kształcenia do zawodu nauczyciela, rozwoju kompetencji zawodowych oraz kształtowania się tożsamości. W artykule skoncentrowano się na wzorach osobowych nauczycieli obecnych w doświadczeniach osobistych kandydatów do tego zawodu. Celem badań było określenie wzorca nauczyciela (kategorie i cechy w obrębie celów życiowych, motywów działań i zachowań oraz cech osobowych) obecnego w życiu przyszłych nauczycieli szkół artystycznych. Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, że studenci uczelni artystycznej posiadają wciąż obecne i warunkujące rozwój wzorce osobowe w postaci nauczycieli ze szkół artystycznych.
Personal patterns have a great influence on the formation of a young person, including a candidate for the teaching profession. This is effect to the developmental need to have a pattern in the formed system of values, attitudes, behaviours and personal characteristics. Having personal patterns is also important from the perspective of training for the teaching profession, developing professional competences and shaping identity. The article focuses on the personal models of teachers present in the personal experiences of candidates for this profession. The aim of the research was to determine the teacher’s pattern (categories and characteristics within life goals, motives for actions and behaviours and personal characteristics) present in the lives of future teachers of art schools. The conducted research shows that students of an art university still have the current personal patterns that determine their development in the form of teachers from art schools.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań ukazujących zmiany w wymiarach tożsamości osobistej oraz w przekonaniach, emocjach i wartościach człowieka, które zachodzą w związku z wydarzeniami mającymi charakter indywidualny lub społeczny. W przeprowadzonym badaniu próbowano znaleźć odpowiedź na pytanie badawcze, jaki jest związek wymiaru tożsamości osobistej z doświadczanymi wydarzeniami o charakterze społecznym i indywidualnym. W badaniu uczestniczyły 142 osoby, w tym 82 kobiety i 60 mężczyzn. Do pomiaru wymiarów tożsamości posłużono się Skalą Wymiarów Rozwoju Tożsamości (Dimensions of Identity Development Scale, DIDS) autorstwa Luyckxa i in. w polskiej adaptacji Brzezińskiej i Piotrowskiego. Badanie przeprowadzone zostało w Polsce. Postawiona teza przewidywała, że wydarzenie indywidualne ma większy wpływ na zmiany tożsamości osobistej niż wydarzenie społeczne. Wykazano, że ilość zmian społecznych decyduje w większym stopniu o zmianach w obrębie wymiaru tożsamości osobistej Eksploracja ruminacyjna, natomiast percepcja wydarzenia indywidualnego – biorąc pod uwagę jego charakter – ma większe oddziaływanie na tożsamość osobistą niż wydarzenie społeczne, zwłaszcza w wymiarze Identyfikacja ze zobowiązaniem. Uzyskane wyniki mogą mieć znaczenie dla praktyki klinicznej w kontekście rozumienia skutków oddziaływań różnego rodzaju wydarzeń życiowych na rozwój lub regres człowieka w zakresie podejmowanych przez niego decyzji i obieranych celów w dalszej perspektywie czasowej.
The article presents research findings that show how the dimensions of personal identity and human beliefs, emotions and values change in the context of individual or social events. The study tried to find an answer to the research question: What is the relationship between the dimension of personal identity and the social and individual experiences? The study involved 142 people, including 82 women and 60 men. The Dimensions of Identity Development Scale (DIDS) by Luyckx et al., in the Polish adaptation of Brzezinski and Piotrowski, was used to measure identity dimensions. The study was conducted in Poland. The thesis was that a single event has a greater impact on personal identity change than a social event. It has been shown that the quantity of social change influences the changes within the dimension of personal identity Ruminate Exploration more strongly, while the perception of an individual event by its nature has more influence on personal identity than the social event, especially in the dimension Identification with Obligation. The results may be relevant to clinical practice to understand the impact of different life events on a person’s development or regression with respect to his or her long-term decisions and goals.

The article tackles the issue connected with the parents' educational action in the sphere of forming the identity of young people. Identity understood most generally as identity in pedagogy and psychology is analyzed in two aspects: those of personal and social identity. In the description of identity as qualitative developmental change in the life cycle one should especially stop at the stage of adolescence. It is a time of dynamic change, of asking essential questions, and in Erikson's opinion, it is a time of conflict on the level: identity – dispersal of identity. Identity's developmental dynamism at the stage of adolescence is the resultant of different factors; the process of education in the family takes a significant place among them. Since formation of a young man's identity happens in the context of the whole of psychophysical development, the family's educational function should be carried out in agreement with the conception of man's integral education. The parents' educational action, supporting development of identity in young people should first of all aim at broadening the adolescents' self-knowledge, forming a clearly defined hierarchy of values, broadening the personal models, helping to verbalize their plans, aims and aspirations. Development of identity in adolescents can be hampered by educational errors. Attention mainly should be paid to the parents' overprotective attitudes, an autocratic style of education, the symbiotic bond between the parent and the child, disturbance of the inter-family borders or transmission of irrationality. The course of the educational process in the family in the area of identity formation in adolescents happens on the basis of identification and giving meanings (internalization). This is why it is so important who the parents are, what their sense of identity is, which identity they experience as the leading one. The parents' self-knowledge and self-definition as well as the quality of interfamily interactions is the beginning of formation of identity in their children and it is in this structure of The personal I and the social We that the parents' educational function is inscribed.

This study brings together theoretical considerations on the one hand, and presentation of the research process analysis on the other. The aim of the study was to present the selected demographic variables and their relationship to the variables that form the three essential components of a sense of personal identity. For the purposes of this analysis, it was assumed that when talking about demographic variables, the respondent's gender, structure of the respondent's family, and education of the respondent's parents will be taken into account. The question to be answered was how in the light of the changing reality and challenges facing the modern family the relationships of the above-mentioned variables with the variables forming the three basic components of the sense of personal identity are formed. The latter were identified as: self perception in the present time, self perception in the future and the value system of a respondent. The research processtook place in several stages, using four different research tools. The analysis of the acquired material showed that the indicated demographic variables in various areas significantly differentiate the variables adopted as components of the sense of personal identity. 
Niniejsze opracowanie skupia w sobie z jednej strony rozważania teoretyczne, z drugiej prezentację analizy procesu badawczego. Celem podjętego zagadnienia była prezentacja wybranych zmiennych demograficznych i ich związku ze zmiennymi tworzącymi przyjęte, trzy zasadnicze komponenty poczucia tożsamości osobistej. Na użytek niniejszej analizy założono, że mówiąc o zmiennych demograficznych będą brane pod uwagę: płeć badanego, struktura rodziny badanego i wykształcenie rodziców badanego. Poszukiwano odpowiedzi na pytanie, jak w świetle zmieniającej się rzeczywistości i wyzwań stojących przed współczesną rodziną kształtują się związki wyżej wymienionych zmiennych ze zmiennymi tworzącymi trzy zasadnicze komponenty poczucia tożsamości osobistej, za które przyjęto: percepcję siebie w czasie obecnym, percepcję siebie w przyszłości, system wartości badanego. Proces badawczy, wynikiem którego są informacje i spostrzeżenia, będące kluczowym wątkiem niniejszych rozważań, przebiegał wieloetapowo, wykorzystano w nim cztery różne narzędzia badawcze. Analiza pozyskanego materiału pokazała, że wskazane zmienne demograficzne w różnych obszarach znacząco różnicują zmienne przyjęte jako komponenty składowe poczucia tożsamości osobistej.

Artykuł jest próbą przedstawienia postów instagramowych jako nowej formy dziennika osobistego. Szczególny nacisk położono na wyróżnienie takich cech dziennika, które są charakterystyczne także dla wpisów na Instagramie, oraz na ich analizę na przykładzie tekstów Julii Slyvki – młodej pisarki, doktora filologii i blogerki z Ukrainy. Zwrócono uwagę na historię i teorię autobiografii w procesie ewolucji dyskursu literaturoznawczego, który rozszerzał swój zakres dzięki uwzględnianiu coraz zasobniejszej biblioteki różnorodnej literatury dokumentu osobistego. Wskazano, że na zmiany w obrębie praktyk lekturowych niebagatelny wpływ miały nowe odmiany gatunków autobiograficznych, tworzonych w przestrzeni Internetu, a zwłaszcza na portalach społecznościowych. Literatura dokumentu osobistego w dużej części przeniosła się bowiem do Sieci, szczególnie w czasie pandemii, i zyskała nową formę, dlatego stanowi ciekawe pole zarówno dla badaczy, jak i samych twórców.
This article is an attempt to define Instagram posts as a new form of personal journal. In the study, particular emphasis was placed on distinguishing the features of a personal diary characteristic of Instagram entries, comparing them on the example of texts by Julia Slyvka — a young writer, PhD, blogger from Ukraine. Both the history and the theory of autobiography, along with the evolution of literary discourse, changed their face, they became richer, thanks to taking into account the increasingly richer library of diverse personal document literature. In addition, the changes in reading practices were significantly influenced by new varieties of autobiographical genres created in the Internet space, especially on social networks. The literature of the personal document has largely moved to the Internet, especially during the pandemic, has gained a new form (it has been made public) and therefore is an interesting field for both researchers and authors.

Celem prezentowanego programu badawczego było sprawdzenie, jak tożsamość człowieka wpływa na skłonność do posługiwania się stereotypami „klasycznymi” (egzemplarycznymi), w przypadku których przedmiotem stereotypizacji jest typowy przedstawiciel danej kategorii, oraz stereotypami spiskowymi, które są reprezentacjami grup jako całości. Badania osadzone były w teorii tożsamości osobistej i społecznej M. Jarymowicz. Wykazano, że najsilniejsza skłonność do myślenia stereotypowego, bez względu na jego rodzaj, jest charakterystyczna dla osób o tożsamości społecznej, podczas gdy najniższa jest właściwa dla tożsamości indywidualnej. Na podstawie uzyskanych zależności można również wnioskować, że osoby o tożsamości zrównoważonej są wyposażone w zdolności właściwe dla tożsamości społecznej i indywidualnej, a większa skłonność do posługiwania się przez nich stereotypami spiskowymi niż klasycznymi może wskazywać na to, że tożsamość społeczna pełni kluczową rolę w stereotypizacji spiskowej.
The purpose of the current study was to investigate the relationship between identity and readiness for classical and conspiracy stereotyping. The conspiracy stereotypes are holistic representations of the entire out-groups, whereas the classical stereotypes are mainly trait-theories of a typical out- -grouper. The obtained results suggest that the strongest propensity for both kinds of stereotyping is typically related to social identity whereas the lowest – to individual identity. It was also observed that the individuals with the well-balanced identity (when the personal and the social identity is well developed) have the cognitive tools characteristic for both personal and social identity. It can be assumed that social identity plays an important role in conspiracy stereotyping, as subjects with well-balanced identity were more prone for this kind of stereotyping, which is extensively discussed in the paper.

Im Artikel wird das Problem der personalen Identität aus psychologischer Perspektive bei Derek Parfit betrachtet. Indem ich von den in der Literatur vorhandenen Vorahnungen (M. Proust, A. Solschenizyn) ausgehe, zeige ich, dass der Mangel an psychologischer Verbindung nicht den Identitätsverlust nach sich ziehen muss, sondern als eine Nachfolge der aufeinander folgenden Ich-Identitäten dargestellt werden kann. Dabei wird jedoch hervorgehoben, dass die Sequenz der Identitäten kein ontologischer Standpunkt ist, sondern eine Darstellungsweise der differenzierten Stufen der psychologischen Verbindungen.
Examined is the notion of personal identity from the psychological perspective of Derek Parfit. Referring to the perception of intuition found in literature ( in works by M. Proust, A. Solzhenitsyn) the author concludes that the lack of psychological connections does not necessarily lead to loss of identity and can be described as a sequence of consecutive egos. He points out, however, that a series of the egos does not constitute an ontological position but is a way of describing versatile degrees of psychological links.
W artykule rozważam problem tożsamości osobowej w perspektywie psychologicznej Dereka Parfita. Wychodząc od intuicji obecnych w literaturze (M. Proust, A. Sołżenicyn), pokazuję, że brak łączności psychologicznej nie musi pociągać za sobą utraty tożsamości, a może być opisywany jako sukcesja następujących po sobie jaźni. Akcentuję jednak, że seria jaźni nie jest stanowiskiem ontologicznym, lecz sposobem opisu zróżnicowanych stopni łączności psychologicznych.

Rewolucja, obejmująca inteligentne technologie, cyfrowe innowacje oraz zaawansowany postęp technologiczny wkracza we wszystkie sfery ludzkiego życia, a szybko rozwijająca się tzw. rozszerzona rzeczywistość, poprawiająca istniejącą rzeczywistość na lepiej przyswajalną, ewoluuje się z dnia na dzień. Tworzą się nowe typy interakcji między jednostką a społeczeństwem, radykalnie zmieniają się formy wzajemnego komunikowania się jednostek. Mogą one prowadzić do utraty części podmiotowości i sprawności intelektualnej. W prezentowanej pracy przedstawiono niektóre teoretyczne i praktyczne aspekty wpływu tych zjawisk na tożsamość jednostki oraz podkreślono konieczność uzyskania nowych kompetencji komunikacyjnych w procesie edukacji.
The revolution, embracing smart technologies, digital innovations and advanced technological progress, enters all spheres of human life and the rapidly growing, so-called augmented reality, improving existing reality in order to make it more comprehensible, evolves overnight. New types of interactions between the individual and society are created and the forms of mutual communication between individuals are radically changing. They can lead to the loss of some part of one’s subjectivity and mental performance. The paper presents some theoretical and practical aspects of the influence of these phenomena on personal identity and it also emphasizes the need to acquire new communication competences in the educational process.

Artykuł traktuje o kwestiach związanych z partycypacją człowieka w cyberprzestrzeni w kontekście zagadnienia tożsamości osobowej oraz wyzwań związanych z technologicznym zapośredniczeniem komunikacji. Horyzont badawczy wyznacza przy tym zagadnienie teatralności życia; akcent położony zostaje na znaczenie autoekspresji i autokreacji oraz wpływu otoczenia społecznego na jednostkę. Technologie cyfrowe stworzyły nowe warunki autoprezentacji, umożliwiając jednostkom kształtowanie ich tożsamości w bardziej zdecentralizowany i fragmentaryczny sposób. Omówione zostają takie aspekty cyfrowego uobecnienia, jak: warunki awataryzacji, relacja awatar–użytkownik oraz zapośredniczone środki ekspresji. Artykuł sugeruje, że jednym z głównych wyzwań, przed którymi stoją ludzie w świecie zapośredniczonym cyfrowo, jest utrzymanie spójnego poczucia siebie. Wymaga to przyjęcia bardziej zniuansowanych i wieloaspektowych ujęć tożsamości osobowej, które uwzględniają uwikłanie jednostki w relacyjność (z samą sobą, z jej awatarami oraz z innymi ludźmi).
Der Artikel befasst sich mit Fragen der Teilnahme des Menschen im Cyberspace im Zusammenhang mit der Frage nach der persönlichen Identität und den Herausforderungen, die sich durch die technologische Vermittlung von Kommunikation ergeben. Der Forschungshorizont wird durch die Frage nach der Theatralität des Lebens bestimmt; der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Bedeutung des Selbstdarstellung und der Selbstgestaltung sowie auf dem Einfluss des sozialen Umfelds auf das Individuum. Die digitalen Technologien haben neue Bedingungen für die Selbstdarstellung geschaffen, die es dem Einzelnen ermöglichen, seine Identität auf stärker dezentralisierte und fragmentierte Weise zu gestalten. Es werden solche Aspekte der digitalen Präsenz wie die Bedingungen der Avatarisierung, die Avatar-Nutzer-Beziehung und die vermittelten Ausdrucksmittel besprochen. Der Artikel legt nahe, dass eine der größten Herausforderungen für Menschen in einer digital vermittelten Welt darin besteht, ein kohärentes Selbstbewusstsein zu bewahren. Dies erfordert eine Annahme von differenzierteren und facettenreicheren Ansätzen zur persönlichen Identität, die die Verstrickung eines Individuums mit der Relationalität (mit sich selbst, mit ihren Avataren und mit anderen Menschen) mit einbezieht.
The article deals with issues related to human participation in cyberspace in the context of the problem of personal identity and the challenges associated with remote forms of communication. The research perspective is based on the notion of the theatricality of life, in matters such as self-expression and self-creation as well as with regard to social coexistence. Digital technologies gave rise to new opportunities for self-representation, enabling individuals to shape their identities in more decentralized and fragmented ways. The article focuses on aspects of digital presence such as conditions of avatarization, the avatar-user relationship, and digital forms of self-expression. The article suggests that one of the main challenges people face in a digitally mediated world is to maintain a coherent sense of self. It requires embracing a more nuanced and multifaceted understanding of personal identity, which takes into account the individual’s entanglement in relationality (with oneself, with one's avatars, and with other people).

I argue in this essay that Richard Swinburne’s revised version of Descartes’ argument in chapter 5 of his Are We Bodies or Souls? does not quite get him to the conclusion that he requires, but that a modified version of his treatment of personal identity will do the trick. I will also look critically at his argument against epiphenomenalism, where, once again, I share his conclusion but have reservations about the argument.

Many dualists say that bodily activity is causally necessary for thinking. But if a material thing can cause thinking, why can’t it think? No argument for dualism, however convincing, answers this question, leaving dualists with more to explain than their opponents.

Against the backdrop of contemporary sociological theories of love, this article explores the disappearance of the other in contemporary love relationships by focusing on the relationship between love and depression. The aim of the article is twofold: first, to provide a theoretical framework to be able to grasp in what ways the other is threatened with erosion in contemporary love relationships and why this may cause depression; second, to exemplify it with empirical data consisting of human documents such as novels, interviews, sms- and messenger-correspondence. The first section, excluding the introduction, consists of methodological reflections. The second section introduces Hegel’s thinking on love and discusses the perception of it by thinkers such as Honneth, Sartre, and Beauvoir, as well as its parallels with Giddens’s idea on confluent love as a new egalitarian paradigm for equality in intimate relationships. The third section is mainly devoted to Kristeva’s theory of the melancholic-depressive composite, but also introduces Illouz’s concept of autotelic desire. In the fourth section, Han’s idea of “the erosion of difference” and Bauman’s thinking on “the broken structure of desire” are discussed in relation to the use of Tinder in contemporary culture. The fifth section consists of an analysis of excerpts from contemporary love novels and interviews that illustrates the disappearance of the other in contemporary love relationships. In the sixth section, a number of longer passages from a messenger conversation, ranging over a couple of months in duration, is reproduced and interpreted, mainly by help of Kristeva’s thinking, in order to make visible the relation between the erosion of the other and melancholic depression. The article ends with a short conclusion.
