This article presents impact of antropopression to landscape of Phi Phi Islands. Also natural values of the landscape are presented. There are pointed unique places in the area. There is shown that not always rising popularity of the place is positive. Too many tourists may cause problems, and these problems are presented. A serious threat to the uniqueness and naturalness of the place is the irresponsible treatment of nature by humans.
Artykuł przedstawia wpływ antropopresji na krajobraz wysp Phi Phi. Zaprezentowano również walory krajobrazowe. Ukazane zostały unikalne miejsca, które znajdują się w omawianej okolicy. Pokazano, że nie zawsze rosnąca popularność danego miejsca jest pozytywna. Zbyt wielu turystów może powodować problemy, które zostały opisane. Poważnym zagrożeniem dla unikalności i naturalności miejsca jest nieodpowiedzialne traktowanie przyrody przez ludzi.

In this article we introduce the concept of second Φ--variation in the sense of Schramm for normed-space valued functions defined on an interval [a; b] ⊂ R. To that end we combine the notion of second variation due to de la Vallée Poussin and the concept of φ-variation in the sense of Schramm for real valued functions. In particular, when the normed space is complete we present a characterization of the functions of the introduced class by means of an integral representation. Indeed, we show that a function [formula] (where X is a reflexive Banach space) is of bounded second Φ-variation in the sense of Schramm if and only if it can be expressed as the Bochner integral of a function of (first) bounded variation in the sense of Schramm.

In this paper we prove that if a Nemytskij composition operator, generated by a function of three variables in which the third variable is a function one, maps a suitable large subset of the space of functions of bounded total φ-bidimensional variation in the sense of Riesz, into another such space, and is uniformly continuous, then its generator is an affine function in the function variable. This extends some previous results in the one-dimensional setting.

Opis:
A sensing system utilizing a standard optical fiber as a distributed sensor for the detection and localization of mechanical vibrations is presented. Vibrations can be caused by various external factors, like moving people, cars, trains, and other objects producing mechanical vibrations that are sensed by a fiber. In our laboratory we have designed a sensing system based on the Φ-OTDR (phase sensitive Optical Time Domain Reflectometry) using an extremely narrow laser and EDFAs.

Opis:
We present a feasibility study of fast events parameters estimation algorithms regarding their execution time. It is the first stage of procedure used on data gathered from gas electron multiplier (GEM) detector for diagnostic of plasma impurities. Measured execution times are estimates of achievable times for future and more complex algorithms. The work covers usage of Intel Xeon and Intel Xeon Phi - high-performance computing (HPC) devices as a possible replacement for FPGA with highlighted advantages and disadvantages. Results show that less than 10 ms feedback loop can be obtained with the usage of 25% hardware resources in Intel Xeon or 10% resources in Intel Xeon Phi which leaves space for future increase of algorithms complexity. Moreover, this work contains a simplified overview of basic problems in actual measurement systems for diagnostic of plasma impurities, and emerging trends in developed solutions.

This study was conducted in July 2016 around Putri Island and Cikiong Beach, Batujaya District, Karawang Regency, West Java - Indonesia to know the types of surficial sedimentary that makeup Putri Island. Field survey activities were carried out to collect sediment samples using a 1-meter long piston core. The sampling locations were carried out at five stations by considering representativeness and ease of accessibility. Sediment analysis using the sieve or granulometric method to produce grain size information on the phi (φ) scale. Sediment types were classified based on grain size using the Wentworth scale and followed by the Folk’s ternary diagram. The study results show that the sediment covering the bottom of the waters around Putri Island is composed of seven types of sediment, namely gravel, very coarse sand, coarse sand, medium sand, fine sand, very fine sand, and silt. It can be seen that sand dominates the sediment fraction which reaches 94% followed by 4% mud and 2% gravel. If classified based on the main component of the Folk’s ternary diagram, the seabed of this area has three types of sediment textures, namely slightly gravelly sand [(g) S], Sand [S], and gravelly sand [gS]. Judging from the constituent elements of the sediment, it can be said that the sedimentation that occurs in the study location is composed of alluvial deposits. The formation of this sediment is dominated by material carried by the river flow through fluvial and tidal processes.

The paper provides the suf ficient conditions, warranting that on alpha(.)-monotone multifunction [Gamma : X --> 2^Phi] is single-valued and continuous on a weakly angle-small set. As an application it is shown that a strongly alpha(.)-paraconvex (i.e. uniformly approximate convex) function defined on an open convex subset of a Banach space having separable dual is Frechet differentiable on a residual set.

Opis:
The aim of each health care system is to protect citizens from ill health consequences and provide them with health care services they need. There are two main solutions to assure health care - social health insurance system and budgetary model. Despite domination of universal public system, in many countries private solutions develop alongside. Private health insurance (PHI), in contrary to public systems, calculate premium according to individual risk and it is (usually) purchased voluntarily. PHI exists in all EU countries playing different role in each. In Poland PHI is not well developed yet. This article presents main characteristics of PHI and current situation of PHI on Polish health care market. A brief history of attempts to introduce PHI in Polish health care system are described, with special focus on the last bill prepared by the Ministry of Health in March 2011. The latest proposal is analysed in details, based on international experience in PHI. The paper also evaluates possible influence of proposed Polish regulations on main actors in health care sector. Conclusions present key problems and recommendations for the process of introducing/developing PHI in health care system.

Opis:
Increasing security in Polish maritime areas is not only a priority for maritime administration, but all users of this zone. The article proves the general assumptions of the implementation of the National Maritime Safety System as well and the method of implementation of its individual elements. Detailed system information was included PHI-CS and Information Exchange System and Sailing Safety. An attempt was made to investigate the scope of modernization of the System of Information and Navigation Safety System. The article describes elements: the national Safe Sea Net system, rules of passenger registration, databases, ICT connections.
Zwiększenie bezpieczeństwa na polskich obszarach morskich jest nie tylko priorytetem administracji morskiej, ale wszystkich użytkowników tej strefy. W artykule przedstawiono zarówno ogólne założenia realizacji Krajowego Systemu Bezpieczeństwa Morskiego, jak i jego poszczególne elementy. Zawarto szczegółowe informacje systemu PHI-CS oraz systemu wymiany informacji i bezpieczeństwa żeglugi. Podjęto próbę zbadania zakresu modernizacji systemu wymiany informacji i bezpieczeństwa żeglugi. Opisano następujące elementy: krajowy system Safe Sea Net, zasady rejestracji pasażerów, bazy danych, połączenia teleinformatyczne.
