Artykuł przedstawia wyniki analiz ośmiu programów komputerowych do nauki języka polskiego w gimnazjum i liceum. Pod uwagę wzięto m.in. ilość słowa (tekstu) w badanych multimediach, jego funkcje oraz relacje z innymi formami przekazu (obraz statyczny, obraz ruchomy, dźwięk), jak również to, czy i w jakim stopniu wykorzystano możliwości „słowa elektronicznego” (takie jego cechy, których nie posiada słowo „papierowe”). Badania wykazały, że w większości programów edukacyjnych warstwa tekstowa jest dominująca, nadrzędna, niemal samowystarczalna. Inne formy przekazu były stosunkowo nieliczne i wykorzystywane głównie ornamentacyjnie. Pomoce komputerowe niewystarczająco korzystały też z niepowtarzalnych możliwości komputera i formy elektronicznej słowa (np. mobilność danych, multimedialność, hipertekstowość).

Opis:
The paper presents new method of integration home digital network with Bluetooth wireless communication system. In this new application Bluetooth is used as one of the main ways of communication and information exchange between elements of the system for integrated, centralized control of the digital devices in the multimedia home platform. Bluetooth enables communication between multimedia gateway with the HTTP server inside and personal communication assistants (PCA), special kind of the remote control. The aim of the system is centralization of services in the multimedia gateway and integration of different services using only one control device.

The paper presents a new multimedia processing platform: KASKADA. V praktickej časti článku sme navrhli a vytvorili inovatívnu metódu (metódu P&E) tak, aby sa ňou zabezpečilo zvýšenie didaktickej efektívnosti vyučovania. Takto spracované inovatívne metódy sme aplikovali v didaktickom systéme s použitím (aj) multimediálnej techniky, spolu so spracovanými materiálmi ich overili a porovnali v praxi. Očakávaním bolo zlepšenie výkonu v prvých troch oblastiach Niemierkovej taxonómie (zapamätania, porozumenia, špecifického transferu) a aktívneho učenia sa žiakov nižšieho stredného vzdelávania prostredníctvom aplikácie nových metód do obsahu vyučovacieho predmetu Technika.
In the practical part, we have designed and created innovative methods (e.g. the P & E method) to ensure the increase of efficiency of didactic teaching. These innovative methods were applied in the didactic system with a use of (not only) multimedia technology and along with used documentation were verified and compared in practice. Expectation was an improvement in performance in the first three areas of Niemierko taxonomy (remembering, understanding, and specific transfer) and active learning of students in lower secondary education through the application of new methods in content of teaching Technical education. In each chapter of the monograph, we introduced the main objective of long-term work to seek the improvement of the quality of tech-nical education.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie roli francuskiej platformy e-learningowej Arche w systemie studiów na odległość Érudi, Études et Ressources Universitaires à Distance oraz w nauczaniu języka polskiego na Uniwersytecie Lotaryńskim (UL) w Nancy. W pierwszej części przybliżono pokrótce cele, motywy nauczania języków obcych oraz zarys historyczny platformy Arche. Następnie podjęto próbę scharakteryzowania profilu studentów podejmujących naukę języka polskiego na odległość za pośrednictwem Érudi w latach 2009-2015. Skoncentrowano się również na specyficznych zagadnieniach nauczania języka polskiego z wykorzystaniem materiałów multimedialnych oraz platformy Érudi, zwłaszcza w przypadku gramatyki oraz rozumienia ze słuchu. Na zakończenie przedstawiono aktualne sposoby nauczania języka polskiego na odległość na UL oraz propozycje usprawnienia funkcjonowania platformy i metod nauczania języka polskiego w ramach e-learningu, które stanowią część moich badań w przygotowywanej rozprawie doktorskiej.
The purpose of this article is to present the role of the French e-learning platform Arche in teaching Polish at the University of Lorraine in Nancy. In the first part I will present briefly the objectives and historical review of the platform Arche. Then I will attempt to characterize the profile of students choosing online classes of Polish language between 2009-2015. I will focus also on specific issues of Polish language teaching with the use of multimedia and platform especially for grammar and comprehension. At the end of the article I will present practiced ways of online teaching Polish at the University of Lorraine and proposals to improve the functioning of the platform and methods of teaching Polish.

Podstawowe rodzaje usług w sieciach LAN, obejmujące transfer plików czy pocztę elektroniczną, realizowane są przy wykorzystaniu mechanizmu typu best-effort, umożliwiającego dynamiczny dostęp do przepustowości kosztem obniżenia jakości usług ze względu na ograniczoną przepływność informacyjną w medium transmisyjnym. Wprowadzenie usług multimedialnych, takich jak interaktywne usługi wideofoniczne, wiąże się z koniecznością wykorzystania klasy usług VBR (Variable Bit Rate) zdefiniowanych dla techniki ATM, charakteryzujących się zmienną prędkością transmisji komórek i wymagających określonych zasobów sieci na ich realizację. Zasoby te rezerwowane są przez użytkownika w trakcie zestawiania połączenia w formie kontraktu z siecią. Zatwierdzenie warunków kontraktu powoduje rezerwację określonych zasobów sieci niezależnie od tego, czy są one faktycznie wykorzystywane - prowadzi to do małej efektywności wykorzystania dostępnych zasobów sieci. Zastosowanie w sieciach LAN mechanizmu transmisji typu best-effort umożliwia wykorzystanie także innych klas usług, takich jak ABR (Available Bit Rate) czy UBR (Unspecified Bit Rate), które podlegają znacznej degradacji w przypadku realizacji wideopołączenia za pomocą usługi typu VBR. W celu zapewnienia sprawiedliwego dostępu do zasobów, przy zachowaniu określonego poziomu jakości realizacji usługi wideofonicznej, wymagane jest informowanie źródła aplikacji wideo o aktualnie dostępnych zasobach. Możliwość taką stwarza wykorzystanie klasy usług ABR, dla której źródło usługi zmienia szybkość transmisji zależnie od sytuacji panującej w sieci. Niezbędna jest równocześnie modyfikacja zachowania źródła aplikacji wideo, polegająca na zmianie szybkości generowania ramek wideo na podstawie informacji przekazywanych przez usługę ABR. Umożliwi to efektywne wykorzystanie udostępnionych zasobów sieci, nawet w przypadku znacznego jej obciążenia. W artykule przedstawiono mechanizm wykorzystania informacji o stanie sieci przekazywanych przez usługę ABR do modyfikacji parametrów źródła aplikacji wideo oraz jego implementację w środowisku badawczym. Zaprezentowano również wyniki uzyskane w eksperymentach realizowanych z wykorzystaniem programu symulacyjnego.
Basic types of services in LAN networks include transfer of files as well as electronic mail, which are executed with the help of the "best-effort" mechanism providing dynamic access to the capacity at the expense of a decrease in service quality due to the limited flow of information in the transmission medium. Introducing multimedia services such as interactive video services requires application of Variable Bit Rate (VBR) class services defined for ATM technology which is characterized with a variable transmission speed of cells and necessary specific network resources for their implementation. The user reserves these resources during connection set up in form of a specific contract with the network. The approval of this contract conditions causes the reservation of specific network resources regardless of whether they are used, leading to low efficiency of exploitation of the available network resources. Using the "best-effort" transmission mechanism in LAN networks allows also for using other service classes, such as ABR (Available Bit Rate) or UBR (Unspecified Bit Rate) which undergo a considerable degeneration in the case of executing a video connection with the VBR service. It is required to inform the video application source of currently available resources to guarantee fair access to resourceswhile maintaining a specific level of quality of the video service execution. Such a possibility creates application of the ABR class service, for which the service source modifies the transmission speed depending on the situation in the network. Modifying the behaviour of video application is also essential, which consists in changing the speed of generating video frames based on the information transferred by the ABR service. This will allow for effective usage of the available network resources even in the cases of network considerable load. The paper presents the mechanism of using network status information transferred by the ABR service for modification of the video application source parameters as well as its implementation in a testing environment. The results obtained in experiments conducted with the use of a simulation program have been shown.

Współczesne czasy Z. Bauman, wybitny socjolog i filozof, nazwał epoką płynnej nowoczesności. Termin ten podkreśla specyfikę życia i jego odmienność w stosunku do wcześniejszej epoki nowoczesności. Zmniejszenie roli przemysłu i oparcie rozwoju gospodarczego na sektorze usług oraz nowoczesnych technologiach informacyjnych wpłynęły na zmiany we wszystkich dziedzinach życia człowieka. Szybkość, zmienność i nietrwałość stanowią podstawowe cechy życia współczesnego człowieka i determinują całkowicie jego życie i funkcjonowanie społeczne. Rozwój technik komunikowania się wpłynął na pojawienie się nowego rodzaju relacji społecznych oraz sposobów wyszukiwania i przekazywania informacji. Dlatego też często mówi się o społeczeństwie informacyjnym dla podkreślenia roli, jaką informacja pełni w życiu codziennym, społecznym i gospodarczym wszystkich ludzi. Zachodzące przemiany ekonomiczno-gospodarcze i społeczno-kulturowe wymagają odpowiedniej edukacji wychodzącej naprzeciw nowym problemom. Pojawia się postulat utworzenia nowej szkoły przygotowującej młodych ludzi do życia w płynnej nowoczesności. W artykule dokonano próby charakterystyki następujących przemian społecznych i kulturowych. Wskazano główne problemy współczesnej edukacji oraz kierunki jej rozwoju. Podkreślono konieczność jej głębokich przeobrażeń tak, aby z instytucji skostniałej i archaicznej stała się miejscem przygotowania młodego pokolenia do życia we współczesnym świecie.
Zygmunt Bauman, a prominent sociologist and philosopher named modern times the era of unstable modernity. The term stresses life specifics and its dissimilarity to the previous modernity era. Reducing the role of industry and supporting economic development in the sector of service and modern information technology influenced the changes in all areas of human life. The pace, volatility and impermanence are the basic features of modern human life and fully determine his life and social functioning. Development of communication techniques contributed to the emergence of a new type of social relations and means of finding and forwarding the information. That is why the term ‘information society’ is often used to emphasize the role played by information in everyday social and economic life of all the people. The economic and socio-cultural changes require an adequate, facing-theproblem education. There is a calling for a new school, that would prepare young people for the life in an unstable modernity. The author of the article presents the characteristic of the ensuing social and cultural changes. She outlined the main issues of a contemporary education and its development directions. She also emphasized the need of thorough transformations in order to change an archaic institutions into a new please where young generations can prepare for life in a contemporary world.

In this paper a new idea of digital images fingerprinting is proposed. The method is based on quaternion encryption in the Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) mode. Quaternions are hyper-complex numbers of rank 4 and thus often applied to mechanics in three-dimensional space. The encryption algorithm described in the paper is designed for graytone images but can easily be adopted for color ones. For the encryption purpose, the algorithm uses the rotation of data vectors presented as quaternions in a three-dimensional space around another quaternion (key). On the receiver's side, a small amount of unnoticeable by human eye errors occurs in the decrypted images. These errors are used as a user's digital figerprint for the purpose of traitor tracing in case of copyright violation. A computer-based simulation was performed to scrutinize the potential presented quaternion encryption scheme for the implementation of digital fingerprinting. The obtained results are shown at the end of this paper.

Článek prezentuje výsledky průzkumu, který byl orientován na zjištění současného stavu využívání multimédií ve výuce literární výchovy na 2. Stupni základní školy, například na odhalení toho, která multimédia, za jakých podmínek a jakým způsobem jsou učiteli při přípravě na výuku literární výchovy a ve výuce samotné využívána.
The paper presents the results of a survey that was focused on the current state of the use of multimedia in literary education at secondary school, for example, the disclosure of which multimedia, under what conditions and how the teachers in preparation for the teaching of literary education and teaching alone used.

In the paper, a proposal of new application for steganography is presented. It is possible to use steganographic techniques to control multimedia stream playback. Special control markers can be included in the sound signal and the player can detect markers and modify the playback parameters according to the hidden instructions. This solution allows for remembering user preferences within the audio track as well as allowing for preparation of various versions of the same content at the production level.

The paer analyses selected quantitative indicators in multimedia education. Multimedia education is a process where both teachers and students constantly acquire skills to benefit from the most effective and innovative solutions that support the learning process. Multimedia education is education using digital media such as image projectors, multimedia boards and computers with the internet access. In multimedia education, multimedia will not replace a teacher, but a teacher who uses multimedia effectively will replace a teacher who does not have the ability to do so. The study includes analysis of: cost per participant in the multimedia education program, effectiveness, and the monitoring of learning outcomes. In Poland, there are no studies evaluating “how schools made decisions concerning IT equipment “. If we compare schools to SMEs, we can determine by analogy what requirements make it necessary to update IT equipment in schools.

Technologia transferu danych głosowych i wideo, a więc danych multimedialnych, jest aktualnie jedną z najszybciej rozwijających się technologii internetowych. Kluczowym problemem związanym z realizacją usług multimedialnych w sieci IP jest równocześnie zapewnienie odpowiedniego poziomu jakości usług Quality of Service (QoS). Problem ten jest szczególnie widoczny w odniesieniu do mobilnych bezprzewodowych sieci IP, które z uwagi na oferowane możliwości znalazły się na przestrzeni ostatnich lat w centrum zainteresowania producentów, dostawców usług, użytkowników oraz projektantów sieci komputerowych. W artykule przedstawiono problematykę zapewnienia jakości QoS realizacji usług multimedialnych w sieciach o niskiej przepustowości ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem sieci standardu 802.11. W zasadniczej części zaprezentowano analizę mechanizmów wspierania jakości opracowanych w ramach rozszerzenia podstawowej wersji standardu 802.11 oraz mechanizmów związanych z modyfikacją parametrów strumienia danych wideo. Na tym tle przedstawiono koncepcję gwarantowania jakości usług wideo w sieci WLAN.
Implementation of the IEEE 802.11 technology for wireless local area networks (WLANs) has created a new opportunity to support real time and multimedia applications. The varying nature of WLAN channel over time can degrade the QoS level of multimedia service, which calls for elaboration of advanced QoS mechanism supporting multimedia services. The research works applied to video transmission over WLAN mostly concentrate on using link adaptation techniques or optimization of video stream by cross-layer signaling. It appears to be not sufficient as far as a provision of QoS for multimedia services is considered. The paper focuses on evaluation of cross-layer QoS architecture that enables the provision of QoS for multimedia services in military WLAN network. A general description of this architecture is presented with special emphasize on new approach to the multimedia rate control as well as implementation of cross-layer signaling. The paper covers the verification of the proposal by simulation method as well as a discussion of some selected results of simulation.

Wstęp i cel: Celem artykułu było opracowanie znaczących preferencji psychopedagogicznych prezentacji multimedialnej. Mają one decydujący wpływ na proces komunikacji multimedialnej. Wpływają one także na efektywność procesu dydaktycznego. Omówiono zagadnienia projektowania obrazów zamieszczonych na slajdach. Materiał i metody: Psychopedagogiczna analiza procesu przetwarzania informacji zakodowanej w komunikacie multimedialnym. Obserwacja zachowania odbiorcy podczas zajęć. Wyniki: Wykonanie prezentacji multimedialnych. Użycie ich w procesie dydaktycznym. Wnioski: Receptor wzroku i słuchu są najważniejszymi kanałami komunikacyjnymi w procesie dydaktycznym. Doprowadzają one do systemu poznawczego odbiorcy komunikatu multimedialnego najszerszy strumień informacji. Aby efektywnie oddziaływać na system poznawczy odbiorcy, prezentacja multimedialna musi być projektowana zgodnie z preferencjami psychopedagogicznymi. Stymulowany proces podwójnego kodowania informacji przyczynia się do tworzenia trwałych skojarzeń. Odbiorca lepiej zapamiętuje informacje. Poprawia i wydłuża się koncentracja uwagi odbiorcy.
Introduction and aim: The aim of the article was to develop a significant psychological and pedagogical preferences multimedia presentation. They have a decisive influence on the process of multimedia communication. They also affect the efficiency of the teaching process. Discusses design issues, images on the slides. Material and methods: Psychological and pedagogical analysis of process information encoded multimedia communication. Observation of the behavior recipients in the classroom. Results: Iimplementation of multimedia presentation. Use them in teaching process. Conclusions: Receptor eyesight and hearing are the most important communication channels in the teaching process. Lead to the cognitive system of the recipient of the message the widest media stream information. To bear on customer cognitive system, multimedia presentation must be designed in accordance with the psychological and pedagogical preference. Stimulated the process of double-encoding of information contributes to create lasting associations. The recipient stores better of information. Improves and increases the concentration of attention of the recipient.

The article deals with a specific form of entertainment, namely gamebooks – meeting place of two worlds: books and games. After the presentation of the assumptions and the history of the discussed phenomenon, it is analyzed in the context of multimedia and new forms of the book. The conclusion shows that probably the time of gamebooks is already gone but the idea of extending the book’s space and engaging the reader in the creating process enjoys its renaissance.
Artykuł podejmuje tematykę specyficznej formy rozrywki, jaką są gamebooki, łączące ze sobą świat gier i książek. Po przedstawieniu założeń i historii omawianego zjawiska przeanalizowano je w kontekście multimediów oraz nowych form książki. Poczynione ustalenia pokazują, że choć gry paragrafowe czasy świetności mają już za sobą, to przyświecająca im idea rozszerzania przestrzeni książki i angażowania odbiorcy w proces tworzenia dzieła przeżywa dziś renesans.

In the paper, we present the results of research of MPEG-2 streams transmission through CBR and VBR channel in ATM network. We applied not only experimental and measurement methods but analytical ones as well. A description of the proposed measurement station includes: installed hardware, created software and prepared experimental data. Next, we present the applied measurement method. In the following section, we define a term of the quality of multimedia transmission. The measurement results were compared with the results of the analytical station model. We proposed a functional description of dependence between ATM traffic parameters, video stream bit rate, and quality of multimedia transmission.

The abilities of work with Microsoft Visual Studio and Expression Studio for creating multimedia applications are shown in the paper. WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) is the latest Microsoft graphics engine and standard user interface programming. In work the media functions of Silverlight and WPF for quick and cost-effective delivery of audio and video and display them in the most popular browsers are presented.

In the foreseeable future multimedia will not replace natural teaching tools. However, there are a number of didactic situations where the use of indirect forms of reality description is advisable or even necessary. The article aims to present elementary pedagogical practice in the field of contemporary educational technologies and to show the creative quest and reflexive enrichment of the pedagogical style of teaching, in which particular skills are used. The presented problems contribute to future research into the analysis of teachers’ skills development in terms of the use of computer programmes in school management. What presents a challenge to the Digital School is education in cyberspace, e-learning, new technologies and solutions, accompanied by simultaneous prevention of media-related risks. Schools need to keep abreast of the rapidly changing reality – only in this way can they produce beneficial educational results for society in the 21st century.

Rozwój technologiczny mediów, a także kulturowe i cywilizacyjne zmiany w zjawiskach komunikacyjnych spowodowały zagęszczenie przestrzeni medialnej. Stwarza to nowe możliwości generowania przestrzeni komunikacyjnych w prawie wszystkich formach komunikacji społecznej. Zjawisko przyczyniające się do powstania tych procesów nazywamy konwergencją mediów. Konwergencja w kontekście kultury medialnej jest nie tylko procesem technologicznym, wzmacniającym transmisję przekazu czy zagęszczenie przestrzeni medialnej multimedialnymi nośnikami treści. Ma również wymiar pozatechnologiczny. Konwergencja mediów musi być postrzegana jako nadająca sens kulturze medialnej – zaciera granice w przestrzeni medialnej między różnymi kanałami przepływu treści, formami i formatami, zaciera granice między segmentami przedsiębiorstw medialnych, między czynnościami produkcji i konsumpcji przekazów. Dokonała istotnej zmiany w kulturze medialnej: spowodowała zmiany w sposobie korzystania z mediów przez adresatów mediów – z biernego na czynny. Epoka Internetu i konwergencji mediów stwarza niebezpieczeństwo utraty podmiotowości przez człowieka.
The technology development of the media as well as the cultural and civilization changes in the communication phenomena caused thickening of the media space. It creates the new possibilities of generating the communication spaces in almost all forms of social communication. The phenomenon which contributes to the creation 56 ROCZNIK PRASOZNAWCZY. ROK VI of these processes is defined as the media convergence. The convergence in the context of the media culture is not only a technological process strengthening the transmission of the media or thickening the media space by the multimedia carriers of the content but it also has a non-technological dimension. The media convergence must be perceived as the one which gives a sense to the media culture. It blurs the line between different channels of the content flow, forms and formats in the media space. It also blurs the line between the segments of the media enterprises and between the production activities and the media consumption. The media convergence changed basically the media culture and it caused the changes in the way of using the media by the media audiences – from passive to active. The Internet era and the media convergence pose a danger to the loss of subjectivity by a human being.

The article analyses the relation between the process of media convergence and hybridization of contemporary reportage. The integration of old and new media in a single journalistic report of hybrid character is being analysed here. The author presents this phenomenon using Dzienniki kołymskie by J. Hugo-Bader as an example. It is a work which oscillates between travel diary and travel reportage, it was first published in sections on an Internet press portal. Additionally, the specific character of multimedia journalism and the poetics of digital reportages are commented on in the article.

Multimedia shooting training systems are increasingly being used in the training of security staff and uniformed services. The next stage of the system development is to make possible training by firing in dynamic scenarios, using combat weapons and live ammunition against visible targets moving on a screen. The use of infrared camera for detecting the position of impact of a projectile is presented in this paper. Due to the thermophysical properties of materials used in anti-ricochet covers, heat transfer takes place relatively slowly and thermal trace of impact of the projectile is visible from several seconds to several minutes. To eliminate this problem it has been proposed to use two algorithms in the detection system of Snieznik.

The current technological advances in many areas leads to the fact that knowledge within five years of 50% change. In this reality, the school and the teacher has to keep up with such a violent and rapid changes. The student should acquire encyclopedic knowledge. The conventional approach to teaching has led to poor performance of students in chemistry and some other subjects. Research has shown that students would learn better should they participate in the teaching-learning process. This study determined the effectiveness of hypermedia and multimedia learning strategies in the academic performance of chemistry students in Osogbo, Nigeria. The pre-test, post-test, control group quasi-experimental design was adopted for this study. Forty students from four schools within the Osogbo central area in Nigeria participated in this study. The instruments used for data collection were: Hypermedia Instructional Package, Multimedia Package and Chemistry Students Achievement Test. Three null hypotheses were tested at 0.05 significance level. Data collected were analyzed using Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). Treatment had a significant effect on chemistry students’ post-test achievement scores. Students exposed to learning strategies performed better, with higher adjusted post-test mean score, in comparison with their counterparts who were not exposed to any of the two learning strategies.
Konwencjonalne podejście do nauczania doprowadziło do słabych wyników uczniów w zakresie chemii i niektórych innych przedmiotów. Badania wykazały, że uczniowie uczyliby się lepiej, gdyby uczestniczyli w procesie nauczania i uczenia się. Badania te określiły skuteczność hipermedialnych i multimedialnych strategii uczenia się w osiągnięciach akademickich studentów chemii w Osogbo w Nigerii. Do tego badania przyjęto projekt pre-test, post-test, grupy kontrolnej quasi-eksperymentalnej. W badaniu tym wzięło udział czterdziestu studentów z czterech szkół z centralnego obszaru Osogbo w Nigerii. Do zbierania danych wykorzystano następujące narzędzia: Hipermedia Instructional Package, Multimedia Package oraz Test Osiągnięć Uczniów Chemii. Trzy hipotezy zerowe zostały przetestowane na poziomie istotności 0,05. Zebrane dane analizowano za pomocą Analizy Kowariancji (ANCOVA). Postępowanie terapeutyczne miało istotny wpływ na wyniki studentów chemii po teście. Uczniowie poddani działaniu strategii uczenia się osiągali lepsze wyniki, z wyższymi skorygowanymi średnimi wynikami z testów, w porównaniu z ich odpowiednikami, którzy nie byli poddani żadnej z dwóch strategii uczenia się.

Cracow’a Main Market Square is not only an urban area of outstanding cultural value, magnified by the unique architectural monuments, but also a commercial centre, an open show-room and a public area of great utility to Cracow. The remains of the medieval trading stalls were discovered in 1963, when the paving was substituted with flagstones, whereas after 2003 archelogists unearthed, among other things, the cellars of Kramy Bogate (The Rich Stalls) and Kramy Wielkiej Wagi (Stalls of Great Importance). The archeologists’ work conducted in the centre of a large city evoked great emotions and have led to discussions about the use of the area. The debate lasted several years and involved scientists, politicians and the media. This resulted in the creation of a modern, multimedia museum below the level of the ground.

Rozwiązania w zakresie personalizacji e-learningu omówiono w następującej kolejności: systemy tworzenia i zarządzania treściami multimedialnymi, spersonalizowane podręczniki elektroniczne i programy szkoleń, agenci w spersonalizowanym środowisku uczenia się, zasoby sieciowe. W zakończeniu artykułu zawarto wnioski dotyczące personalizacji w e-learningu w różnych środowiskach uczenia się.
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the selected professional solutions in the field of personalization of e-learning for the benefit of its creators and users. For this purpose, study of the literature of the subject registered in databases was carried out: Library and Information Science Abstracts (LISA), Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA), Education Resources Information Center (ERIC). The following solutions were discussed: systems for creating and managing multimedia content, personalized e-books and curricula, agents in a personalized learning environment, Web resources.

In this paper Quaternion Feistel Cipher (QFC) with an infinite key space based on quaternion Julia sets is proposed. The basic structure of the algorithm is based on the scheme proposed in 2012 by Sastry and Kumar. The proposed algorithm uses special properties of quaternions to perform rotations of data sequences in 3D space for each of the cipher rounds. It also uses Julia sets to form an infinite key space. The plaintext is divided into two square matrices of equal size and written using Lipschitz quaternions. A modular arithmetic was implemented for operations with quaternions. A computer-based analysis has been carried out and obtained results are shown at the end of this paper.
