The article discusses Polish sentences which are based on the same pattern: '...w taki sposób, że...'. The semantic analysis of phrases with the sequence sposób 'manner' has shown that the basic context for the concept of a way, or manner, of doing something accounts for the relational character of this idea. The relation in question occurs between the action, which is mentioned in a sentence, and its description. This meaning can be found/indicated thanks to the thematic-rhematic structure of sentence which distinguishes two functions of '... w taki sposób, że...': expressing the process of doing something, and expressing the manner of doing the thing in question.

The purpose of this article is to provide the lexical analysis of predicates such as face à face (‘face to face’) and côte à côte (‘side by side’), which are generally reciprocal and symmetric. Some of them are also used in an unusual way, that is, the structures in which they appear do not meet the requirements set for symmetric constructions. This imbalance, as we will show, has for the origin a semantic difference between the arguments x and y which must belong to the same semantic class if we want them to be in a symmetric relation. The question of semantic similarity within the argument structures is thus of greater importance for the semantic completeness of the reciprocal predicates. The question will be for us to recognize if, when a semantic difference occurs, we would have to deal with different (non reciprocal) meanings and if so how to describe them.

This article focuses on the analysis of the semantic and syntactic properties of the motion verb nager in order to determine its objects and adverbs, according to the criterion of non-selection represented inde- pendently by different syntacticians or semanticians. The analysis has been carried out on the basis of  a comparative investigation with French and Polish as the main reference languages. The author’s goal is to compare the argument structures of the predicate nager and its homologues: pływa and płyn, in order to verify the universal status of their presuppositions and selectionnal restrictions.

Przedmiotowe opracowanie ma na celu przybliżenie postępowania prowadzonego w sprawie samowolnej zmiany sposobu użytkowania obiektu budowlanego lub jego części, dokonanej w szczególnym okresie tj. przed dniem 31 maja 2004 r. Aby prawidłowo przeprowadzić postępowanie w tej sprawie należy prześledzić przepisy ustaw, którymi dokonano nowelizacji ustawy z dnia 7 lipca 1994 r. Prawo budowlane. Znajdują się w nich uregulowania intertemporalne, których analiza wyznacza odpowiednie przepisy prawa, które należy zastosować.
The subject of the study is aimed at clarifying the procedures needed to change the way of using the building, or part of it, at own will, conducted within the particular period, ie. before May. 31. 2004. In order to carry out the related procedures correctly, one should get acquainted with the regulations of the acts, which have been used to amend the Building Law Act, introduced on Jul. 7. 1994. Intertemporal regulations are contained there, analysis of which would indicate the respective laws that would be used.

Background. Patients with obesity, including morbid obesity, commit numerous dietary mistakes. They prefer high-energy diets, but of poor nutritional value. Patients qualified for bariatric procedures show deficiencies in vitamins and minerals due to insufficient intake of vegetables, fruit and whole grain products. Objective. Analysis of dietary habits in morbidly obese patients prepared for bariatric surgery, including assessment of eating style and frequency of consumption of certain products. Material and methods. The study group contained 39 people aged 18 - 65 years, who were surveyed with a questionnaire elaborated in the Department of Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition, Medical University of Bialystok. The following factors were assessed: number of meals, snacking between meals and eating at night, types of snacks eaten, and frequency of consumption of certain foods. Results were analyzed using Statistica 9.0. Results. The majority of surveyed men (41.7%) ate three meals a day, whereas most women (40.7%) had at least 4 meals a day. Nearly 85% of the respondents admitted snacking between meals, mainly eating fruit, sweets and sandwiches. Whole grain cereal, milk and dairy products, fish, fruit, vegetables and pulses appeared in diet of patients qualified for treatment of obesity very rarely. Conclusions. Dietary habits of obese patients qualified for bariatric procedures are not consistent with recommendations. Therefore, these patients should receive nutritional education in order to foster proper eating habits that will help in the postoperative nutrition.
Wstęp. Osoby z otyłością, w tym z otyłością olbrzymią, popełniają liczne błędy żywieniowe. Dieta otyłych jest wysokoenergetyczna, jednak posiada niską wartość odżywczą. U osób zakwalifikowanych do zabiegów bariatrycznych występują niedobory witamin i składników mineralnych spowodowane niewystarczającym spożyciem między innymi warzyw, owoców oraz produktów pełnoziarnistych. Cel. Analiza zachowań żywieniowych pacjentów z otyłością olbrzymią przygotowywanych do operacji bariatrycznej, na którą składały się ocena trybu żywienia oraz częstotliwości spożycia poszczególnych artykułów spożywczych. Materiał i metody. Badaniem objęto grupę 39 osób w wieku 18 – 65 lat. Badanie przeprowadzono z użyciem kwestionariusza ankiety, opracowanego w Zakładzie Dietetyki i Żywienia Klinicznego UM w Białymstoku. Ocenie poddano między innymi ilość spożywanych posiłków, zwyczaj pojadania między posiłkami i jedzenia w nocy, rodzaj spożywanych przekąsek oraz częstotliwość spożycia wybranych produktów spożywczych. Analizę wyników wykonano w programie Statistica 9.0. Wyniki. Wykazano, że większość ankietowanych mężczyzn (41,7%) spożywała 3 posiłki dziennie, a kobiet (40,7%) przynajmniej 4 posiłki dziennie. Blisko 85% badanych pojadało między posiłkami, głównie owoce, słodycze i kanapki. Osoby zakwalifikowane do chirurgicznego leczenia otyłości zbyt rzadko spożywały produkty zbożowe z pełnego przemiału, mleko i przetwory mleczne, ryby, warzywa i owoce oraz nasiona roślin strączkowych. Wnioski. Sposób żywienia osób otyłych zakwalifikowanych do zabiegów bariatrycznych nie jest zgodny z zaleceniami żywieniowymi. Należy objąć ich edukacją, w celu kształtowania prawidłowych zachowań żywieniowych, które pomogą w późniejszym żywieniu pooperacyjnym.

Poddano analizie proces technologiczny produkcji obręczy kolejowych do kół bosych zestawów kołowych wagonów towarowych, a także przeprowadzono badania materiałowe wpływu procesu studzenia w dole chłodniczym oraz w spokojnym powietrzu w hali produkcyjnej obręczy po walcowaniu. Badania przeprowadzono według wymagań Karty UIC 810-1:2003 [4], normy PN-84/H-84027/06 [6] oraz Standardowej Karty Technologicznej [10] producenta obręczy. Wykonano również obliczenia metodą elementów skończonych MES naprężeń powstających w obręczach. W podsumowaniu stwierdzono, że stosowany proces produkcji zapewnia dobrą jakość obręczy kolejowych, a proponowana korekta studzenia obręczy nie ma wpływu na jakość gotowego wyrobu.
We analyzed the technological process of the production of railway tyres wheel sets of freight cars, as well as materials research conducted impact of the cooling process after rolling the tyres in the bottom of the refrigerant, and in the still air in the production hall. The study was conducted based on the requirements contained in the UIC 810-1: 2003 [4], PN-84 / H-84027/06 [6]. Also made possible the calculation of stresses in the tyres of existing finite element FEM. It concluded that the production process used for the good quality of railway tyres cooling and the proposed adjustment does not affect the quality of the finished product.

W grudniu 2017 r. Sejm uchwalił ustawę o zmianie niektórych ustaw w celu zwiększenia udziału obywateli w procesie wybierania, funkcjonowania i kontrolowania niektórych organów publicznych. Ustawa ta wprowadziła doniosłe zmiany w Kodeksie wyborczym, dotyczące między innymi struktury organów wyborczych, ich kompetencji, jak też zasad i sposobu głosowania przez wyborców. W artykule przedstawione zostały najważniejsze problemy związane z implementowaniem nowych reguł samorządowego prawa wyborczego w kontekście nadchodzących wyborów do jednostek samorządu terytorialnego.
In December 2017, the Sejm adopted the Act on amending certain acts in order to increase the participation of citizens in the process of selecting, operating and controlling certain public bodies. The Act introduced significant changes to the Electoral Code, including, inter alia, the structures of electoral bodies, their competences, as well as the rules and manner of voting by voters. The article presents the most important problems related to the implementation of new rules of local government electoral law in the context of the upcoming elections to local government units.

This article examines the subjective aesthetic criteria used to assess two Finnish translations of Hamlet, one by Eeva-Liisa Manner (1981) and the other by Matti Rossi (2013), both accomplished translators for the stage. A survey consisting of one general question (“Briefly describe your idea of how Shakespeare translation should sound in Finnish, and what you think are the qualities of a good Shakespeare translation”) and five text extracts was distributed on paper and electronically, generating 50 responses. For the extracts, respondents were asked whether one or the other translation most closely dorresponded to their idea of what a Shakespeare translation should sound like and why, along with questions on whether they would prefer to see or read one or the other. The results show that there are no strong shared expectancy norms in Finland regarding Shakespeare translation. Manner was generally felt to be more concise and poetic, while Rossi was praised for his exquisite use of modern Finnish. Respondents agreed that rhythm was an important criterion, but disagreed on what sorts of rhythms they preferred. Translation of the “to be or not to be” speech raised the most passions, with many strongly preferring Manner’s more traditional translation. The results suggest that Shakespeare scholars would do well to take variations in expectancy norms into account when assessing and analysing Shakespeare in translation.

In dem vorliegenden Beitrag wurde das semantische Merkmal der Zustandsänderung auf seine wortbildenden Wirkung hin untersucht und dabei das Deutsche mit dem Polnischen verglichen. Es konnte gezeigt werden, dass im Polnischen sowohl Resultativität als auch Kausativität stets formdifferenzierend ausschlagen und zur Bildung eines perfektiven Verbs führen, während Zustandsänderung im Deutschen nicht unbedingt immer morphologisch markiert sein muss, sondern sehr wohl auch zusammen mit ihrem Gegenteil im Basisverb aufgehen kann.
The present paper deals with change of state as a semantic feature and the formal consequences deriving from it with respect to German and Polish word building. It could be shown that in Polish resultativeness as well as its counterpart causativity are always morphologically marked thus giving rise to a perfective verb, whereas in German change of state does not necessarily lead to the creation of a separate verbal item requiring the adding of a prefix to the basis.

Kompozyty typu FML to laminaty zbudowane z łączonych adhezyjnie cienkich warstw metalowych i kompozytów polimerowych wzmacnianych włóknami. Przeprowadzono analizy numeryczne, których celem było oszacowanie wpływu sposobu obciążenia takich materiałów na ich wytrzymałość oraz możliwości kształtowania części z nich metodą gięcia. Zniszczenie hybrydowych kompozytów warstwowych może polegać na przekroczeniu wytrzymałości doraźnej któregoś komponentu lub delaminacji spowodowanej odrywaniem lub ścięciem międzywarstwowym połączenia adhezyjnego. W obliczeniach numerycznych uwzględniono ortotropowe właściwości komponentu kompozytowego i sprężysto-plastyczne komponentu metalowego oraz siły adhezji między łączonymi warstwami badanego materiału. Niezbędne do obliczeń stałe materiałowe wyznaczono eksperymentalnie dla kompozytu typu Glare (adhezyjnie połączone warstwy stopu aluminium oraz kompozytu szklano-epoksydowego). Eksperymentalnie wyznaczono również wytrzymałość na odrywanie kompozytu szklano-epoksydowego od stopu aluminiowego, a na podstawie danych literaturowych oszacowano wytrzymałość na ścinanie syciwa epoksydowego. Analizowano naprężenia w kompozycie warstwowym obciążonym poprzez rozciąganie, zginanie oraz skręcanie. Stwierdzono, że przy skręcaniu takiego materiału może wystąpić zniszczenie polegające na delaminacji oraz że po przekroczeniu granicy plastyczności komponentu metalowego w trakcie rozciągania, obciążenia przenoszone są głównie przez komponent kompozytowy. Z obliczeń numerycznych wynika również, że praktycznie nie ma możliwości kształtowania części z materiałów typu Glare metodą gięcia. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych analiz można również stwierdzić, że modelowanie w obliczeniach numerycznych części wykonanych z kompozytów warstwowych elementami powłokowymi nie pozwala uwzględnić wszystkich mechanizmów możliwych zniszczeń takich materiałów.

Aim of numerical analysis was to estimate loading effect on strength of these materials and opportunities to change their shape with bending method. Hybrid composite can be destructed when ultimate strength would exceed in one of components or delamination caused tensile or interlayer shear of adhesive bonds. Conducted numerical analysis considered orthotropic composite properties, elastic-plastic metal properties and adhesive strength between surfaces of researched material. Composite Glare type (adhesively joined layers of aluminum alloy and glass-epoxy composite) properties (materials constants) were experimentally tested. Tensile strength of adhesive bond between glass-epoxy composite and metal alloy layers was experimentally determined as well. Shear strength of epoxy impregnate was taken from the literature. The stresses has been analysed in laminar composite loaded by tensile, bending and torsion. Analysis of torsion showed that dealmination between FML layers can be the result of destruction. The tensile analysis showed that if the stress in metal exceeds the yield point, the loads are transformed mainly by composite layers. Numerical calculations showed that Glare type composite cannot be formed by bending. Additionally, it may be concluded that numerical analysis, where FML type composites are modelled using only shell elements, does not reveal all their destruction mechanisms.

The thesis studies five icons of Christ’s Passion painted on canvas in the manner of artists from the town of Rybotychi. It traces the role of iconpainting on canvas among Rybotychi painters. To compare the manner of iconpainting, icons of Christ’s Passion on wood were examined, including one with the signature of master Jakiv from Rybotychi dated 1675. It is the only icon of that iconography and manner with the author’s signature. On the basis of its manner and iconography, an icon from the village of Velykyj Vyslok was dated to the last quarter of the 17th century. Stylistic parallels between this icon and a few other icons on wood were traced. The shape of the canvas and iconography of two icons of unknown origin (from the National Museum in Krakow and the National Museum in Peremyshl) show that Rybotychi masters used common patterns, although these icons were painted by different authors. Based on the similarity of the icon from Krakow museum to Rybotychi icons from the end of the 17th century it was dated to the same time. The other two icons of Christ’s Passion on canvas feature a graphic manner similar to the popular local woodcuts of the time. Based on a 1703 icon from Brusno Nove village, the painting of an icon of unknown origin from the National Museum in Lviv was narrowed to the end of the 17th – beginning of the 18th centuries.

Sposób korzystania z gruntu oddanego w wieczyste użytkowanie określają nie tylko przepisy ustawy i zasady współżycia społecznego, ale również umowa lub decyzja ustanawiająca prawo. Jeżeli oddanie gruntu w użytkowanie wieczyste następuje w celu wzniesienia budynków lub innych urządzeń, umowa powinna wskazywać m.in. termin rozpoczęcia i zakończenia robót, Skarb Państwa oraz jednostki samorządu terytorialnego są zobowiązane do kontroli sposobu zagospodarowania nieruchomości oddanych w użytkowanie wieczyste oraz do podejmowania stosownych działań w sytuacji wykorzystywania nieruchomości w sposób niezgodny z umową lub decyzją. Podstawową kwestią jest określenie celu użytkowania wieczystego, co w praktyce jest utrudnione szczególnie w przypadkach gdy użytkowanie wieczyste nie powstało w drodze umowy, lecz w trybie decyzji uwłaszczeniowych wydawanych w latach: 1990-1997. Celem opracowania jest analiza skutków zmiany sposobu korzystania z nieruchomości przez użytkownika wieczystego. Zagadnienia te w praktyce budzą wiele wątpliwości odnośnie zasad prawidłowego postępowania oraz konsekwencji dla użytkowników wieczystych. Pojawiające się wątpliwości interpretacyjne potęguje niejednolita linia orzecznictwa sądowego oraz nieprecyzyjne przepisy. W artykule przedstawiono przesłanki rozwiązania użytkowania wieczystego, ustalania dodatkowych opłat rocznych oraz zmiany stawki procentowej opłat rocznych a także problemy geodezyjno-prawne występujące na tym tle w praktyce. Część obszaru badawczego poświęcono zagadnieniom zmiany treści prawa użytkowania wieczystego. Problem ten aktualnie nabiera istotnego znaczenia gdyż dotyczy gruntów które stały się przedmiotem użytkowania wieczystego w drodze uwłaszczenia osób prawnych, w tym przedsiębiorstw. Obrót nieruchomościami przez uwłaszczone przedsiębiorstwa skutkuje koniecznością dostosowania celu użytkowania wieczystego do zamierzeń inwestycyjnych nabywców nieruchomości. Powstaje jednak problem dopuszczalności zmiany celu użytkowania wieczystego którego źródłem jest decyzja administracyjna stwierdzająca uwłaszczenie państwowych i komunalnych osób prawnych. Analizy dokonano w oparciu o obowiązujące przepisy, wybrane orzecznictwo sądowoadministracyjne oraz wyniki badań dotyczących nieruchomości Gminy Miejskiej Kraków niezagospodarowanych przez użytkowników wieczystych zgodnie z umową lub decyzją w latach: 2010-2014.
The manner of use of the land let into perpetual usufruct is specified not only the by the legal provisions or the principles of social coexistence, but also by an agreement or a decision conferring this right. If letting land for perpetual usufruct is aimed at erecting building structures or other equipment, the agreement should also specify the date of the commencement and the completion of the works. The State Treasury and local government units are required to control the manner of use of the real estate let into perpetual usufruct, and to take appropriate action in the case the real property is used in the manner inconsistent with this agreement or decision. The main issue is to determine the intended purpose of perpetual usufruct, which is difficult in practice, especially in the cases where perpetual usufruct was not established by way of an agreement, but by enfranchisement decisions issued in the years 1990-1997. The aim of the study is to analyze the effects of change in the manner of use of real estate by perpetual user. These issues, in practice, raise numerous doubts about the rules of proper conduct as well as the consequences for perpetual users. The emerging interpretation ambiguities are intensified by inconsistent judicial decisions and imprecise regulations. The article presents assumptions for the dissolution of perpetual usufruct, imposing additional annual fees and changing the percentage rate of the annual fees, as well as surveying and legal problems occurring accordingly in practice. A part of the research was devoted to changes in the content of the right of perpetual usufruct. This problem is currently getting more and more significant because it concerns the land which were let into perpetual usufruct by enfranchisement of legal persons, including companies. Real estate transactions by affranchised companies results in the need to adapt the intended purpose of perpetual usufruct to the investment plans of the buyers. However, there is a possibility to change the intended purpose of perpetual usufruct by administrative decision declaring the enfranchisement of state and municipal legal persons. The analysis was carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations, the selected case law of administrative courts and the results of the research on the real estate of the Municipality of Krakow, which were used by perpetual users inconsistently with the agreement or decision in the years 2010-2014.

Artykuł dotyczy koncepcji kryminalistycznych cech przemocy domowej na Ukrainie. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań, a także analizy praktyk śledczych i sądowych ustalono, że proponowany skład kryminalistycznych cech przemocy domowej obejmuje: czas, miejsce, środki, sposób popełnienia przestępstwa, tożsamość ofiary, tożsamość sprawcy, „wzór śladu” – ściśle powiązane ze sobą elementy.
The work is dedicated to the concept and composition of the forensic characteristics of domestic violence in Ukraine. An analysis of the work of forensic scientists on the concept and elements of forensic characteristics was done. On this basis, as well as on the analysis of the investigative and judicial practice, the composition of the forensic characteristic of domestic violence is proposed. It was investigated that to those elements are included: time, place, means, crime manner, victim’s person, offender person, “trace pattern”, which are closely correlated with each other. The analysis of each of the elements is carried out.

The objective of this paper was to analyse the impact of parameters and drying method on the increase of the volume of dried apple slices and cubes during their rehydration. Ligol apples (cut into 3 and 10 mm slices and 10 mm cubes) were dried with the following methods: natural convection (temperature of drying 60ºC), forced convection (a tunnel drier, parameters of drying air: 50, 60, 70ºC and 0,5, 2 m·s-1), fluid drying (60ºC and 6 m·s-1). Dried fruit were rehydrated in the distilled water of 20ºC temperature. Determination of volume was carried out with an uplift pressure method in petroleum ether. Tests proved the impact of ground dried particles and the impact of drying method on the increase of the volume of dried apples during their rehydration. The final volume of the rehydrated dried fruit increased along with the reduction of drying temperature, these differences in numerical values were low, but statistically significant.
Celem pracy była analiza wpływu parametrów i metody suszenia na wzrost objętości suszonych plastrów i kostek jabłek podczas ich rehydracji. Jabłka odmiany Ligol (plastry o grubości 3 i 10 mm, kostki sześcienne o boku 10 mm) suszono następującymi metodami: konwekcja naturalna (temperatura suszenia 60ºC); konwekcja wymuszona (suszarka tunelowa, parametry powietrza suszącego: 50, 60, 70ºC oraz 0,5, 2 m·s-1); suszenie fluidalne (60ºC i 6 m·s-1). Susz rehydrowano w wodzie destylowanej o temperaturze 20ºC. Oznaczenie objętości wykonano metodą wyporu w eterze naftowym. Badania wykazały wpływ rozdrobnienia suszonych cząstek i wpływ metody suszenia na wzrost objętości suszonych jabłek podczas ich rehydracji. Końcowa objętość rehydrowanego suszu rosła z obniżeniem temperatury suszenia, różnice te w wartościach liczbowych były niewielkie, ale statystycznie istotne.

Recenzowana publikacja poświęcona jest problematyce równości w Ukrainie. Autorki zwracają uwagę na istniejące obszary opresji wobec kobiet, utrwalone przez tradycję. Wskazują na rosnącą w Ukrainie świadomość równości płci dzięki implementacji przepisów i edukacji w tym zakre-sie, a także za sprawą działalności różnych organizacji międzynarodowych. Działania organizacji pozarządowych, dobra polityka równościowa, ale przede wszystkim zmiana postaw sprawiają, że życie kobiet i mężczyzn w Ukrainie zmierza do pełnej równości.
This review concerns the book by Oksana Yarosh, Nadia Pashkova, Anna Perepeliuk Choloviky jak sojuznyky [Men as allies], published (online) in  2022 by International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). The reviewed publication is devoted to the issue of equality in Ukraine. The authors draw attention to existing areas of oppression against women, perpet-uated by tradition. They point to the growing awareness of gender equality in Ukraine thanks to the implementation of legislation and education in this area, as well as the activities of var-ious international organisations. Thanks to the activities of non-governmental organisations, good policies but, above all, thanks to the change in attitudes of relations, the life of women and men in Ukraine is moving towards full equality.
Rezensiert wird die Publikation von Oksana Yarosh, Nadia Pashkova, Anna Perepeliuk Choloviky jak sojuznyky. Posibnyk [Männer als Verbündete], erschienen online 2022, verlegt von International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). Die rezensierte Publika-tion ist dem Thema Gleichstellung von Frau und Mann in der Ukraine gewidmet. Die Autorinnen machen auf jene Bereiche der Unterdrückung von Frauen aufmerksam, die durch Tradition aufrechterhalten werden. Sie verweisen auf das wachsende Bewusstsein für die Gleichstellung der Geschlechter in der Ukraine dank der Umsetzung von Gesetzen und Bildungsmaßnahmen in diesem Bereich sowie der Aktivitäten verschiedener internationaler Organisationen. Auch die Aktivitäten von Nichtregierungsorganisationen, gezielte politische Maßnahmen, aber vor allem der Bewußtseinswandel tragen dazu bei, dass sich das Leben von Frauen und Männern in der Ukraine auf eine vollständige Gleichstellung zubewegt.

W artykule przedstawiono opis usterek cieplno-wilgotnościowych występujących w lokalu mieszkalnym, będących następstwem niewłaściwego sposobu jego użytkowania. Wielorodzinny budynek mieszkalny zaprojektowany został jako intensywnie rozczłonkowany w rzucie poziomym, z licznymi przezroczystymi przegrodami pionowymi. Zaprojektowane przegrody pionowe i poziome rozpatrywane jako pojedyncze elementy spełniały wymagania przepisów szczegółowych w zakresie ochrony cieplnej, jednak podwyższona wilgotność w pomieszczeniach mieszkania oraz ograniczona wentylacja przyczyniły się do rozwoju korozji biologicznej na wewnętrznych powierzchniach w okolicy węzłów stropowo-ściennych. W pracy omówiono mechanizm powstawania dyskomfortu eksploatacyjnego oraz przedstawiono propozycje działań mających na celu usunięcie występujących usterek.
The article presents a description of hygrothermal technical faults in a building apartment, caused by an improper residential habits. The multi-family residential building was designed with multiple irregularly located windows. Although the vertical structure elements of the building are properly designed and satisfy the technical requirements, the increased humidity and the reduced ventilation rate in the appartment caused a biological corrosion on the internal surfaces of floor-wall junctions. The paper describes the mechanism of residential discomfort due to the indoor hygrothermal conditions and proposes the solution which eliminates the risk of further hygrothermal technical faults of a building.

The objective of this article is to describe surveys carried out in Poland which facilitated a comparison of selected forms of cultural activity and ways of cultural participation by people in their early and late adulthood, as well as its conditions and associated opinions. The analysis demonstrated that the model of cultural participation changes with age, which is a factor strongly differentiating between the mentioned fields of research. The majority of young people prefer mediated cultural participation, in which the Internet plays a significant role. Seniors prefer direct and elite forms of cultural activity. The respondents also differ in the way they assess the attractiveness of the forms of direct contact with culture. Most young people find popular music concerts and film screenings attractive, while seniors tend to go to classical music concerts, operettas and theatre performances. Adults also differ in respect of their opinions on the benefits of cultural participation and the majority of the associated barriers.

W artykule przedstawiono klasyfikację kierunków rekultywacji i zagospodarowania opartą o wcześniejsze klasyfikacje, lecz uzupełnioną o nowe kierunki. Opisano i zobrazowano przykładami kierunki dotychczas nie klasyfikowane i rzadziej stosowane jak np. kierunek kulturowy, o funkcjach kontemplacyjnych wcześniej nie definiowany, ale realizowany na terenach pogórniczych związanych z martyrologią II wojny światowej. Do każdego kierunku ogólnego przypisano kierunki szczegółowe - funkcje jakie może pełnić zrekultywowany obiekt zwracając uwagę, że nie jest możliwe stworzenie zamkniętej klasyfikacji, gdyż te same funkcje można przypisać kilku kierunkom. Przedstawiono sposób wyboru optymalnego kierunku rekultywacji i zagospodarowania oparty o wcześniejszą charakterystykę i analizę czynników opisujących zarówno obszar wymagający działań naprawczych jak również jego otoczenie. Podkreślono, że powszechnie stosowane kierunki leśny i rolny niekiedy mogą być przekreśleniem innych możliwości wynikających ze specyfiki obiektów oraz potrzeb społecznych czy gospodarczych.
The classification of the modes of reclamation and redevelopment based on the previous classifications, but supplemented by new modes are presented in this article. Previously unclassified and rare use modes of reclamation are described and illustrated by examples, e.g. cultural modes, with contemplation function carried out on the post-mining areas which are martyrdom places connected with World War II. Specific ones - functions, which can reclaimed areas can fulfill have been ascribed to each general mode. Attention is paid on the fact, that there is not possible to create a closed classification, since the same functions can be ascribed to some others modes of reclamation. The manner of choosing the optimal modes of reclamation and redevelopment based on a previous characteristic and analysis of the factors (environmental, spatial, technical, cultural, social, economic), which describe post-mining areas and its surroundings are presented. It has been emphasized that the commonly used forest and agricultural modes of reclamation can sometimes squander other possibilities resulting from the characteristic of the objects, which need to be reclaimed as well as social or economic needs.

Artykuł ukazuje istotny aspekt cywilnoprawnej instytucji przedawnienia roszczeń dotyczący tego, czy i jeśli tak, to w jaki sposób upływ terminu przedawnienia dochodzonego przed sądem roszczenia jest brany przez ten sąd pod uwagę, przy czym problematyka ta została ujęta w taki sposób, by ukazać zależność pomiędzy motywacją, jaką kieruje się ustawodawca – względami polityki społecznej a dokonanym przez niego wyborem metody uwzględniania upływu terminu przedawnienia. Rozważania rozpoczynają się od zakreślenia obszaru poruszanej tematyki, po czym następuje pokazanie prezentowanych w literaturze prawniczej argumentów mających przemawiać na rzecz każdego z dwóch konkurencyjnych sposobów uwzględniania upływu terminu przedawnienia, to jest z urzędu lub na zarzut tego, przeciwko komu roszczenie przysługuje. Czynione jest to przy wykazaniu powiązań pomiędzy poglądami w tym zakresie a przychylaniem się do koncepcji socjalistycznych albo liberalnych. Na tym tle pokazane zostały przemiany rozwiązań w omawianym zakresie związane z niepożądanymi zjawiskami społecznymi, jakie pojawiły się w praktyce stosowania elektronicznego postępowania egzekucyjnego przewidzianego polskim kodeksem postępowania cywilnego, a także pokazana została konstrukcja silnie motywowana względami społecznymi (przedstawionymi w tekście) wprowadzona ustawą z 13 kwietnia 2018 r. nowelizującą kodeks cywilny, przynosząca istotne przeobrażenia w kwestii sposobu uwzględniania upływu terminu przedawnienia roszczeń, skutkująca powstaniem swoistego dualizmu w tym zakresie w polskim prawie cywilnym. Pokazano przy tym między innymi elastyczność wprowadzonej regulacji (np. zastrzeżenie jako zasady uwzględniania przez sąd z urzędu przedawnienia roszczenia dochodzonego od konsumenta, ale z zastrzeżeniem możliwości odstępstw od tego), a także skonfrontowano założenia wskazane w uzasadnieniu tej ostatniej powołanej ustawy z możliwością ich osiągnięcia dzięki kształtowi wprowadzonych nią przepisów.
The article presents an important aspect of the civil law limitation period of claims, namely whether – and if so, how – the expiration of the limitation period for a claim brought before a court is taken into consideration by the court. This issue is presented in such a way as to show the relationship between the motivation which the legislator is guided by – social policy considerations – and its choice of the method of taking into account the expiration of the limitation period. The reflections start with a presentation of the subject matter, followed by an indication of the arguments presented in legal literature in support of each of the two competing ways of taking into account the expiration of the limitation period, that is, ex officio or only when the person against whom the claim is due raises an objection. This is done while demonstrating the connections between views in this area and the acceptance of socialist or liberal concepts. Against this background, there are shown changes in solutions in the discussed area related to unwanted social phenomena that appeared in the practice of the use of electronic enforcement procedure provided for by the Polish Code of Civil Procedure. The author also describes the construction, which is strongly motivated by social considerations (presented in the text), introduced by the Act of 13 April 2018 amending the Civil Code, which brings significant changes in the manner of taking into account the expiration of the period of limitation of claims, with the resulting particular dualism in this area of Polish civil law. Among other things, the text discusses the flexibility of the introduced regulation (e.g. stipulating as a rule for the court to take into account the expiration of limitation of claim claimed from the consumers, but with a possibility of departing from the rule). Furthermore, the assumptions indicated in the justification for the aforementioned Act are confronted with the possibility of achieving the desired state thanks to the wording of the provisions introduced by said Act.
