    Opis:
    The International Classification of Function, Health and Disability (ICF) underscores a functional approach to aphasia assessment and therapy. The widespread uptake of the ICF necessitates a reflection whether the existing knowledge base on the Polish language of aphasia will permit speech‑language pathologists in Poland to make a strong contribution to this international trend. Using the PRISMA‑ScR methodology, a scoping review was conducted to describe and summarise the current state of research on the impact of aphasia on the subsystems of the Polish language and its mental processing. The findings indicate that although empirical studies of the Polish language of aphasia have so far addressed all the language subsystems, the level of scientific evidence in this area is low and the resulting knowledge base is incomplete and fragmented. There are significant research gaps, particularly in regard to pragmatics and discourse in aphasia, which need to be filled, so that the new empirical evidence can be used to develop functionally oriented and consequence‑based clinical tools and methods.

    Wstęp. Obecna koncepcja niepełnosprawności zakłada, że stopień niepełnosprawności jest wypadkową stanu zdrowia fiycznego i psychicznego oraz warunków środowiskowych, w których żyje osoba niepełnosprawna. Dlatego również na społeczeństwie spoczywa odpowiedzialność za taką modyfkację środowiska, aby poprawie uległy warunki uczestnictwa i aktywności osób niepełnosprawnych w życiu społecznym i zawodowym. Cel. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie problematyki rehabilitacji osób niepełnosprawnych i kwestii związanych z ich zatrudnieniem. Materiał i metoda. Oparto się na danych opublikowanych przez Zakład Ubezpieczeń Społecznych (ZUS), Kasę Rolniczego Ubezpieczenia Społecznego (KRUS) i Państwowy Fundusz Rehabilitacji Osób Niepełnosprawnych (PFRON), biuro Pełnomocnika Rządu ds. Osób Niepełnosprawnych oraz na wynikach Narodowego Spisu Powszechnego Ludności i Mieszkań przeprowadzonego w Polsce w 2011 roku. Przeanalizowano ponadto akty prawa krajowego i międzynarodowego z ostatnich kilkunastu lat. Wyniki: W 2013 roku w Polsce rentę z tytułu niezdolności do pracy pobierało 1 075 000 osób., zaś rentę z tytułu niezdolności do pracy w gospodarstwie rolnym otrzymywały 216 373 osoby. Według Badania Aktywności Ekonomicznej Ludności Polski (BAEL) w 2013 roku aktywnych zawodowo było 27,3% osób niepełnosprawnych w wieku produkcyjnym. Istotne znaczenie ma zapewnienie osobom niepełnosprawnym zdobycia lub utrzymania zatrudnienia, a więc możliwie pełnej integracji społecznej. Wydane na ten cel pieniądze są inwestycją, która się zwraca, a nawet daje korzyści społeczne i ekonomiczne. Podsumowanie, Konieczne jest holistyczne podejście i koordynacja całego procesu leczenia, rehabilitacji i zatrudnienia osób niepełnosprawnych uwzględniające współodpowiedzialność pracodawcy, połączenie usług medycznych, spo- łecznych i zawodowych, odpowiednie doradztwo, zastosowanie modelu biopsychospołecznego (ICF) w ocenie efektów rehabilitacji osób niepełnosprawnych.
    Introduction. According to the current concept of disability the degree of impairment is a product of physical and psychological health as well as environmental conditions in which a disabled person lives. Therefore, it is also the society that is responsible for modifying the environment so as to improve the conditions of participation and activity of the disabled persons in social and professional life. Objective. The objective of this work is to present the problem of rehabilitation of persons with disabilities and issues related to their employment. Materials and method: The work is based on data published by ZUS (the Polish Social Insurance Institution), KRUS (the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund), PFRON (the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disables Persons), Offi of the Government Plenipotentiary for Disabled People and on the results of the 2011 Polish Census of Population and Housing. Also acts of Polish and international law from the last dozen of years have been analysed. Results. In 2013 in Poland, 1 075 000 people received the inability to work benefi and 216 373 persons received the benefi related to inability to work on a farm. According to the Polish Research on Economic Activity of the Population (BAEL), 27.3% of disabled persons in the working age led an active professional life in 2013. It is crucial to ensure that the disabled persons access or maintain employment and thus to provide for their largest possible social inclusion. The expenses on this are an investment that pays back and even generates social and economic profis. Conclusion. It is necessary to adopt a holistic approach and to coordinate the entire process of treatment, rehabilitation and employment of persons with disabilities, taking into account employer’s co-responsibility, combination of medical, social and vocational services, appropriate counselling and application of a biopsychosocial model (ICF) in evaluating the effcts of rehabilitation of the disabled persons.

    The present work is aimed at the analysis of gross and relative values of inbound tourism by countries of destination for the purpose of their classification. As a result of confronting total and specific (per 1 km of conventional radius of the country’s territory) numbers of international tourist arrivals with the median values for 100 countries of the world as of 2016, countries of destination were divided into four classes. Small countries of intensive inbound tourism are predominantly represented by tropical islands of the Caribbean Basin and Indian Ocean, as well as by the Mediterranean region. Over half of big countries of intensive inbound tourism are located in Europe and the Mediterranean destinations were the most often visited ones. Big countries of extensive inbound tourism show significant volume of inbound tourism in the first place due to their significant territories. Among these, there were Scandinavian destinations of Europe, Canada and Russia. The low intensity of their inbound tourism is explained by the unfavourable climate for human thermal-physiological sensations. Small countries of not-intensive inbound tourism had considerably less volume and intensity of tourism arrivals due to their small territories, unfavourable geographical conditions, but, what is most essential, also due to the poverty. In addition, cost indicator, that is receipts from inbound tourism per one arrival, was taken into account in the analysis. The factors that have influence over it were also disclosed.

    Wprowadzenie: W Polsce, podobnie jak w innych krajach należących do Światowej Organizacji Zdrowia (WHO), trwają prace nad wdrożeniem najnowszej klasyfikacji chorób i problemów zdrowotnych ICD-11. Formalnie została ona wprowadzona 1 stycznia 2022 roku. W okresie pięciu lat musi zastąpić dotychczasową klasyfikację ICD-10. Cel badań: Celem niniejszego opracowania było wskazanie konsekwencji wprowadzenia ICD-11 w obszarze badań oraz praktyki psychologiczno-pedagogicznej. Ponadto istotnym celem było również prześledzenie procesu wdrażania nowej klasyfikacji w Polsce. Dodatkowo dokonano przeglądu najważniejszych zmian wprowadzonych przez ICD-11 w ujęciu horyzontalnym, a więc porównawczym z ICD-10, oraz wertykalnym, polegającym na wskazaniu nowych pozycji w klasyfikacji, niemieszczących się w dotychczasowej systematyce. Stan wiedzy: Biorąc pod uwagę implikacje ICD-11 w psychologii i pedagogice, szczególnej uwagi wymaga rozdział 6 dotyczący zaburzeń psychicznych, zachowania i neurorozwojowych. Pedagog i psycholog, którzy wchodzą w skład różnych zespołów diagnostyczno-terapeutycznych, współpracują najczęściej z lekarzem psychiatrą oraz neurologiem, a to implikuje wykorzystanie praktyczne ICD-11. Znajomość klasyfikacji i umiejętność sprawnego wyszukiwania informacji w ICD wydają się niezbędną umiejętnością dla praktyków. Podsumowanie: Proces wdrażania ICD-11 potrwa w naszym kraju co najmniej do 2025 lub nawet do 2026 roku. W tym okresie nadal w praktyce medycznej będzie stosowana klasyfikacja ICD-10, co implikuje jej dalszą obecność również w praktyce psychologiczno-pedagogicznej, a także w badaniach naukowych wykorzystujących aktualne diagnozy.
    Introduction: In Poland, as in other countries belonging to the World Health Organization (WHO), work is underway to implement the latest classification of diseases and health problems ICD-11. It was formally introduced on January 1, 2022. It must replace the current ICD-10 classification within five years. Research Aim: The aim of this study was to indicate the consequences of introducing the ICD-11 in the area of research and psychological and pedagogical practice. Moreover, an important goal was also to trace the implementation of the new classification in Poland. In addition, the most important changes introduced by the ICD-11 were reviewed in a horizontal approach, and so comparative with the ICD-10 and vertical, consisting in the identification of new items in the classification that do not fit into the current systematics. Evidence-based Facts: Given the implications of the ICD-11 in psychology and pedagogy, Chapter 6 on mental, behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders deserves special attention. A pedagogue and a psychologist who are part of various diagnostic and therapeutic teams, most often cooperate with a psychiatrist and a neurologist, and this implies the practical use of ICD-11. Knowledge of classification and the ability to efficiently retrieve information in the ICD appear to be a necessary skill for practitioners. Conclusion: The process of implementing ICD-11 in our country will last at least until 2025 or even until 2026. During this period, the ICD-10 classification will still be used in medical practice, which implies its further presence also in psychological and pedagogical practice, as well as in scientific research using current diagnoses.

    Wstęp: W wieloprofilowym i długofalowym procesie usprawniania dzieci z mózgowym porażeniem dziecięcym bardzo ważną rolę pełni ujednolicona dokumentacja medyczna, prowadzona w formie papierowej lub elektronicznej. Cel pracy: W pracy przedstawiono propozycję dokumentacji medycznej dzieci z porażeniem mózgowym, niezbędnej dla członków zespołu terapeutycznego. Pierwsza część wypełniana przez lekarza rehabilitacji medycznej – rehabilitacyjna karta badania, zawiera informacje potrzebne dla wszystkich członków zespołu terapeutycznego. Drugą część złożoną z kilku dokumentów, wypełniają poszczególni członkowie zespołu terapeutycznego. Autorzy proponują uporządkowany sposób dokumentowania stanu pacjenta oraz jego potrzeb w zakresie rehabilitacji, w oparciu o założenia Międzynarodowej Klasyfikacji Funkcjonowania, Niepełnosprawności i Zdrowia. Wnioski: Zgodnie z aktualnymi standardami postępowania z dziećmi niepełnosprawnymi w planowaniu wieloprofilowej rehabilitacji biorą udział członkowie zespołu terapeutycznego, którzy powinni posługiwać się ujednoliconą dokumentacją, nie tylko w jednym ośrodku, ale w całym kraju
    Introduction: It is very important to use unified rehabilitation forms and documents in multidisciplinary and long-term process of rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy (CP). Aim of the paper: The paper presents a scheme of documentation for children with CP which is necessary for members of a rehabilitation team. This document consists of two parts. The first part is completed by a physiatrist - conjoint rehabilitation form consisting of information necessary for all specialists working in a team. The second part contains several documents and is filled by every member of the rehabilitation team. The authors propose a structured way of documenting the patient’s condition and his/her needs for rehabilitation according to ICF. Conclusion: According to current standards in dealing with CP children, members of the therapeutic team should employ consistent documentation in all rehabilitation centers while planning multidisciplinary rehabilitation.

    The article presents the scale of the professional activity of women who lived in Cracow in the second half of the 19th century. The author’s intention has been to verify – at least in relation to the urban population – the common belief that before the First World War women did not take up paid jobs to a larger extent. The analysis contains the Historical International Standard Classification of Occupations (HISCO). The records of censuses of 1869, 1880 and 1890 have been the main source for the analysis; thanks to them it was possible to create a database of urban inhabitants. After having analysed the changes in the size of the population of Cracow in the second half of the 19th century the author attempted to assess what the percentage of the dynamic increase of the Cracow’s population might be accounted for by immigrants, identified through their place of birth and citizenship. The incoming population changed the structure of the Cracow’s community as far as age and sex are concerned. The majority of the immigrants were young adults, mostly women, and they were looking for a job. In 1869 every sixth woman that lived in Cracow was working; eleven years later – every third, and after another 10 years – nearly 40% of them. Three quarters of professionally active women from Cracow were Roman Catholic, and only one quarter – Jewish. The article also presents the structure of marital status of working women from Cracow and the type of jobs they had – according to the main groups of HISCO. It has been proved that the women did not take up jobs motivated by the war crisis; at the end of the 19th century in Cracow there were more working women than in 2012 in Polish towns.
