Opis:
W artykule podjęto problem kompetencji informacyjnych nauczycieli w zakresie wykorzystywania metod i narzędzi ICT w kontekście nowych trendów technologicznych i towarzyszącym im przemianom cywilizacyjnym. W badaniach – diagnostyczno-korelacyjnych, ilościowo-jakościowych – zastosowano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego (ankietę i wywiad) oraz metody statystyczne. Zbadano 1160 nauczycieli i ustalono, że: 1) poziom kompetencji informacyjnych w większości można określić jako zadowalający (w świetle standardów wystarczający) do podejmowania działań na rzecz wdrażania ICT do zawodowej praktyki; 2) istnieje wyraźny związek (korelacja: wysoka, pozytywna – r ≈ 0,71) pomiędzy poziomem kompetencji informacyjnych nauczycieli w zakresie operowania informacją a poziomem wykorzystywania przez nich narzędzi ICT; 3) infrastruktura teleinformatyczna zapewnia zdecydowanej większości (95,9%) swobodny dostęp do komputera i Internetu; 4) ograniczeń w pełnym i twórczym egzystowaniu w świecie ICT, otwartej i permanentnej edukacji, należy doszukiwać się w przejawianych postawach ujawniających niedociągnięcia nauczycieli w sferze: a) świadomości potrzeby i skutków własnego działania w zakresie stosowania i projektowania narzędzi ICT; b) przyjmowania odpowiedzialności za skutki własnego zachowania się w zakresie wdrażania nowych trendów ICT.
The article presents the problem of teachers’ information competence in the area of application of ICT methods and tools in the context of new trends in technology and the accompanying civiliza- tional transformations. During diagnostic-correlative research of quantitative/qualitative character, the method of diagnostic survey was applied (poll and narrative interview) and statistical methods. The sample of 1160 teachers were examined and determined that: 1) represented by the respondents level of competence in the majority can be described as satisfactory (in the light of standards – sufficient) to undertake activities for the implementation of ICT in professional practice; 2) there ex- ists a distinct connection (correlation: high, positive – r ≈ 0,71) between the level of information competence in the field of information handling and the level of application of modern ICT tools; 3) ICT infrastructure provides the vast majority (95.9%) of teachers easy access to computers and the Internet; 4) The restrictions in all-inclusive and creative existence in the ICT world, in open and long-lasting education, can be found in the expression of the attitudes which reveal teachers’ shortcomings in the fields of: 1) awareness of the need and consequences of their activities in the use and design of ICT tools, and 2) assuming responsibility for the consequences of their own behaviour in the area of implementation of new technological trends in their professional practice.

The article presents the problems connected with the meaning of information literacy education for a man functioning in the environment that is dominated by information and communications technologies. As information more and more often is seen as a tool for the manipulation of human attitudes and behaviour, there is a need to undertake preventive actions against various pathologies in this respect. It involves the necessity of developing information awareness, education for information, betterment of information skills and formation of the information culture of the people in the infosphere. The typology of educational tasks in the field of broadly defined information competences treated as information culture has been presented. The tasks were divided into three groups, in which the tasks resulting from the realization and the student’s participation in the information process have been shown, then those resulting from the youth’s functioning in different fields of information culture and finally, tasks connected with the cultural aspect of information literacy. It has been shown that developing information competences by means of traditional teaching methods is not very effective. The most useful methods are those based on the theories of constructionism and connectivism. The idea of connectivism transplanted to the school didactics is perfectly realized in the development of information competences, whose essence is the ability to connect with the specified nodes or information resources, finding knowledge, maintaining and reinforcing connections, making decisions. However, a radical change in the education system would be necessary, as well as the change of the relationship between teachers and students.

The paper deals with university knowledge transfer. The adjustment of relations between universities and enterprises makes knowledge transfer a necessary requirement for university development to ensure the implementation of market-oriented educational programs. The paper proposes use of modular competency-based and ontological approaches to ensure the university knowledge transfer. The initial data is presented in the databases of the university, authorized bodies of education and science, enterprises, business structures and professional standards. This data is processed and scanned for knowledge to be put into the knowledge database with technological (informational) and modular competency-based approaches. As part of a market-oriented innovation university concept the task is to improve the education system in relation to skills development. To solve this problem it is necessary to build a distributed information system of university knowledge transfer. It is necessary to create a unified educational space – an educational portal – to ensure the university knowledge transfer between all participants - teachers, students and employers. The study offers an architectural solution for a distributed information system.
Artykuł dotyczy transferu wiedzy uniwersyteckiej. Dostosowanie relacji między uniwersytetami a przedsiębiorstwami sprawia, że transfer wiedzy jest niezbędnym warunkiem rozwoju uniwersytetów, aby zapewnić realizację programów edukacyjnych zorientowanych na rynek. W artykule zaproponowano zastosowanie modułowego podejścia opartego na kompetencjach i ontologii, aby zapewnić transfer wiedzy uniwersyteckiej. Wstępne dane są prezentowane w bazach danych uniwersytetu, upoważnionych organów oświaty i nauki, przedsiębiorstw, struktur biznesowych i standardów zawodowych. Dane te są przetwarzane i skanowane w celu umieszczenia wiedzy w bazie wiedzy za pomocą technologicznych (informacyjnych) i modułowych podejść opartych na kompetencjach. W ramach zorientowanej rynkowo koncepcji uniwersytetów innowacyjnych zadaniem jest ulepszenie systemu edukacji w odniesieniu do rozwoju umiejętności. Aby rozwiązać ten problem, konieczne jest zbudowanie rozproszonego systemu informacji o transferze wiedzy uniwersyteckiej. Konieczne jest stworzenie jednolitej przestrzeni edukacyjnej – portalu edukacyjnego – aby zapewnić transfer wiedzy uniwersyteckiej między wszystkimi uczestnikami – nauczycielami, studentami i pracodawcami. Badanie oferuje rozwiązanie architektoniczne dla rozproszonego systemu informatycznego.

The article presents the results of the analysis of the labour market requirements reported by Polish employers. Relations between the type of specialty, enhanced by the competence profile, and the requirement of proficiency in English were sought. The empirical material came from the research implemented within the “Human Capital Balance” project (V edition – 2014). The research procedure consisted of grouping objects with the method of k-means and the induction of decision rules based on the application of theories of rough sets. The analysis was performed using the RSES 2.1 system.

The article deals with the interaction problems of pedagogical cultures and modern electronic (information and communication) educational platform on the competence approach basis in the process of e-book using in humanities. Purpose. The aim of this article is to outline the pedagogical and didactical opportunities of a new e-book using by students and teachers in the complex usage with other means of education and traditional textbook. The content, structure, main stages and criteria of effective functioning of electronic lesson design in Literature were defined. Methods. The mathods and forms of lesson elective course activities that were used in the classroom is a multimedia lecture, heuristic conversation, discussion with controversy and without it, preparation of training scenarios of teachers, training projects of students, usage of tests and statistical quantitative and qualitative indicators of studing. Results. The article reports the results of suggested educational methodology and e book using provides active interaction and development of traditional pedagogical cultures and modern electronic (information and communication) educational platform in order to gain informational skills – communicative, reading, social and cultural competences. It generates students’ needs in reading, cognitive interests, intellectual capacities, aptitudes, intercultural interests.

Opis:
The article reports on a study conducted as part of a one-term undergraduate general translation course. In the final assignment the students delivered L1 and L2 translations which were assessed based on their functionality/usability and other criteria related to preserving the content of the source text and assuring the adequacy of the target text (ITI 2014). The students then worked on the problematic sections marked by the instructor; they could either revise the excerpts or justify their decisions. The students were allowed to make use of electronic sources, which was recorded using Camtasia Studio. The recordings were analysed to examine the types of searches the students had made.

W artykule podjęto rozważania z zakresu szeroko rozumianej komunikacji naukowej, uwzględniając zagadnienia kompetencji uczestników aktów komunikacyjnych z obszarów science communication, scientific communication, scholarly communication. Kompetencje nakreślono, analizując bariery komunikacyjne, rozpatrując różnice wynikające z założeń IQ (inteligencji intelektualnej) oraz EQ (inteligencji emocjonalnej), sytuując komunikację naukową we wzorcu komunikacji synergicznej. Zaprezentowano modelowe koncepcje kompetencji opisanych w literaturze przedmiotu, lokalizując pojęcia information literacy, transliteracy i metaliteracy w odniesieniu do procesów zachodzących w komunikacji naukowej.
The article presents considerations associated with the broadly conceived scholarly communication, with reference to the problems associated with the competence of the participants of communicative acts in the area of science communication, scientific communication, scholarly communication. The competences were outlined by means of an analysis of communication barriers, with reference to the differences resulting from the premises of IQ (intellectual intelligence) and EQ (emotional intelligence), situating scholarly communication in the model of synergic communication. There is a presentation of the concepts of competences described in subject literature by means of anchoring the concepts of information literacy, transliteracy and metaliteracy in reference to the processes which occur in scholarly communication.

The article deals with digital competence, which is one of the main components of the professional competence of future teachers, as well as discloses the foreign experience of the development of future teachers’ digital competence. European standards for the determination of digital competence are analysed – in particular, the digital competence profile of the teacher Digital Competency of Educators (DigCompEdu), which includes six areas of teachers’ digital competences. The article outlines approaches to the description of educational outcomes concerning the digital competence of teachers. The analysis of the experience of foreign countries (Lithuania, Estonia, Austria, Norway, the Netherlands, Western Australia, Slovenia on the problem of developing the digital competence of teachers in the process of their professional training in higher education institutions and professional development of practising teachers) has been carried out taking into account the scope of digital competence. The reforms in the education of foreign countries concerning the digitalisation of education and the development of teachers’ digital competence are considered. Academic courses, foreign educational platforms, communities for teachers’ professional training and professional development on digital technologies are described and analysed. The analysis of the work of foreign researchers allows to make conclusions about the approaches to classification and description of the types of teachers’ digital competence.

The article deals with a phased approach to the development of information competence of future teachers of visually impaired, which was implemented in teaching students of "Special education (pedagogy for the blind)." General pedagogical and special literature about the introduction of the latest computer technologies in educational process of secondary and higher education was analyzed, as well as the level of development of this in Ukraine. The interpretation of the concepts of "computer training", "information and computer competence of tiflopedagog" and "readiness to use the latest computer technology by future teachers" was high lighted. The content of training in computer technology was identified and justified for the future teachers of visually impaired, which is a system of information and disciplines of computer sphere, associated with the study of the multifaceted phenomenon of information technologies, as well as the patterns and characteristics of its manifestations in various spheres of professional work of teachers of visually impaired. The efficiency of a phased approach is shown on training of students of the Faculty of Correctional Pedagogy and Psychology of National Pedagogic University named after N.P. Dragomanov.

Opis:
Článek přináší informace a zkušenosti s projektovou výukou mediální výchovy studentů katedry informačních a komunikačních technologií Pedagogické fakulty Ostravské univerzity (dále katedra ICT), tedy budoucích učitelů na základních a středních školách. Tato výuková metoda, při které studenti realizují projekt vlastních novin, se velmi osvědčila, protože vlastní tvůrčí a produkční činnost (learning by doing) je velmi účinná při posilování motivace, dlouhodobém zapamatování znalostí a získávání dovedností. Mediální výchova v tomto pojetí je na katedře ICT zaměřena prakticky. V jednotlivých částech studenti získávají přehled o základech žurnalistiky, digitální fotografie, zvuku a videa. Rozvoj mediální gramotnosti u studentů oboru Informační technologie ve vzdělávání má rovněž pozitivní vliv na posilování jejich informačních kompetencí.
The article presents information and experience with media education project teaching students of the Department of Information and Communication Technology, Pedagogical Faculty of Ostrava University (Department of ICT), that future teachers in primary and secondary schools. This teaching method in which students carry out a project of its own newspaper, proved very useful, because the creative and production activities (learning by doing) is very effective in enhancing motivation, long-term memorization of knowledge and skills. Media education in this concept is the Department of ICT focused practice. In the individual chapters, students gain an overview of the basics of journalism, digital photos, audio and video. Developing media literacy among students majoring in Information Technology in Education also has a positive effect on strengthening their information skills.

Purpose. With the development of information society the main task of training future and current teachers is to teach them to use modern information and communication technologies in the educational process, causing the need for changes in the traditional system of education of teachers. The development of science and technology requires teacher training in the effective use of its achievements, competently directed personal development of students creatively working to improve the educational process, use and demonstrate the use of modern information technology. Methods. The effective development of information and communication competencies of teachers technologies during training in the system of postgraduate education depends on the orientation of the educational process on the principles of person-centered and activity approaches learning and application of methods, tools and organizational learning, which involve the use of information and communication technology. Results. Developed and implemented methodological elements of the system based on determining components of information competence of the teacher of technology to new levels of professional training of teachers technologies. It should be noted that the use of modern information and communication technologies in learning technologies (lessons work) significantly improves the level of teaching, provides a choice of place, time, content and learning, promotes better learning students; In addition, these technologies allow you to create a complete online learning space for students and teachers of self.
