W opracowaniu przestawiono przeprowadzone analizy zużycia paliwa oraz oceniono wielkość ponoszonych kosztów w okresie 4 zimowych miesięcy pracy dwóch ciągników rolniczych JCB Fastrac 3190 i 3220. Badaniom podlegała weryfikacja danych zapisanych w raportach systemu monitoringu GPS z danymi księgowymi otrzymanymi od pracowników administracyjnych gospodarstwa usługowego. Zasadność wykorzystania systemu monitoringu w gospodarstwie potwierdzono na podstawie wykonanej analizy finansowej zysków i strat, w której obliczono koszty użytkowania ciągników oraz sumaryczne koszty pracy obciążające gospodarstwo.
The study presents the conducted analyses of fuel consumption and evaluates the amount of costs, which were incurred by two tractors JCB Fastrac 3190 i 3220 during 4 winter months. The study consisted in verification of data reported by the GPS monitoring system in comparison with accounting data received from administrative employees of a service farm. Validity of using the monitoring system on the farm was confirmed based on financial analysis of profits and loses which was carried out, within which, the costs of using tractors and the total costs of the work charging the farm were calculated.

Opis:
The article presents conception of authors management and monitoring system based on GPS, for application in the transport and land and air communication. This system arises as an answer to demand of local Civil Services, which are member of a crisis management. System purpose is to increase the effectiveness and safeties during salvage actions. In following years the system evolved, allowing its use not only in land conditions but also in the transport and the air lifesaving. Article shows future plans connected with the system development and the extension with ADS-B system (Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast).

The paper presents study results about determination Wide-Lane Hardware Delays in GPS system. For this purpose GPS data from RYKI reference station were used. Melbourne-Wübbena linear combination were applied for estimation WHD. Computations were executed in SciTEC software, which code source was written in Scilab 5.4.1. Firstly, results from SciTEC software show that WHD are very stable over few days. In this paper 4 experiments are presented. Accuracy of WHD in submitted paper is less than 2 ns. Over few days, magnitude order of mean SWHD is ± 1 ns, what corresponds to 0.3 cycle of wavelength in L6 combination. Difference between maximum and minimum value of SWHD over 6 days is about ± 2.5 ns. RWHD over few days are so very stable, with mean value about 0.154 ns. Standard deviation of daily repeatability RWHD parameter is less than 0.07 ns, what corresponds to 2% of wavelength in L6 combination.

Opis:
The purpose of this study was to present the possibilities of using available Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI) created by the users of OpenStreetMap program and sports applications such as GPies.com or Endomondo to monitor the traffic in the forest area. In addition, areas where, due to high traffic, potential conflicts between different user groups may occur, were marked out. The research area covered two mountain forest districts located in the Sudetes Mountains: Szklarska Poręba and Świeradów, which due to their tourist values and an extensive network of hiking and cycling trails arouse society’s interest. In the area, 2896 unique activities divided into cycling, running and hiking were registered. It was shown that 7.3% of the length of routes used by pedestrians, 13.6% of the length of routes for runners and 11.0% of the length of routes for cyclists are characterized by high intensity of traffic, while 30.3%, 28.4% and 37.7% of routes for the indicated groups, respectively, are characterized by medium intensity of traffic. On other routes, low intensity of utilization was observed. Existing hiking and cycling trails were pointed out as the most frequently used routes. The specially designed bicycle routes, the so−called ‘Single track’, located in the Świeradów Forest District, were popular among the users. The highest traffic occurred in the morning and afternoon, on weekends and in the summer months. According to the adopted assumptions, there is a high risk of conflicts between runners and cyclists at about 1.5% of the route length as well as 2.1% of the length of routes used simultaneously by pedestrians and cyclists. It should be stated that VGI data can be used to monitor traffic in forest areas and constitute one of the elements of the decision support system (DSS). A certain weakness of VGI data from the sports applications used in this study could be the lack of the possibility of creating user profiles. Consequently that causes lack of more detailed data on this subject (age, sex, etc.). The limitation in the data useage is the privacy policy, which allows downloading only such data that has been made available for public use in the application resources.

Opis:
This paper presents the results of studies on the determination of an aircraft’s trajectory and positioning accuracy. The PPP method was applied to determine the aircraft’s position in kinematic mode for code observations in the GPS system. Computations were executed in the “PPP_KINEMTIC” software, whose source code was written using the Scilab 5.3.2 platform. The PPP_KINEMTIC software allows for the latitude coordinate to be estimated with accuracy between 1 and 6 m, the longitude coordinate to be estimated with accuracy between 0.5 and 2.5 m, and the ellipsoidal height to be estimated with accuracy between 1 and 7 m. The average value of the MRSE term equals 5 m with a magnitude between 1 and 8.5 m. In the paper, general libraries of the PPP_KINEMTIC application were presented and the PPP method was characterized too.
