Opis:
Regarding the rapidly growing satellite altimetry database and corresponding products worldwide, an investigation of different mean dynamic ocean topography (MDT) models was assessed to be important for further use in geodetic applications. The efficiency and quality of different MDT models are discussed in view of adopted geoids as reference surfaces. The models used are: 1) The ECCO model based on hydrology and altimetry data, 2) The combined MDT Rio-05 constructed in CSL AVISO (2005) from data for the period 1993-1999, 3) The combined MDT CNES-CLS09 model at the grid points 15’x15’ based on altimetry and hydrology data for the period 1993-2007 (CSL AVISO, 2009), 4) The DNSC08MDT solution of mean dynamic topography (Danish National Space Center) obtained from the geometrical differences between the DNSC08 mean sea surface and the EGM2008 geoid model. The concluding results of the investigation are: 1) statistics of all mean dyamic topography models leads to the approximately same standard deviations about 70 cm and range from -2 m to 2 m; 2) all differences among various MDT models give much smaller standard deviations about 6 – 15 cm; 3) all such differences among various MDT give larger mean deviation, which can be explained by different geoid models or reference surfaces adopted for each solution; 4) better agreement provides MDT CNES-CLS09 and DNSC08MDT models. As a result, we prefer MDT CNES-CLS09 and DNSC08MDT solutions since their noise level corresponds to an estimated accuracy of modern satellite altimetry data.

Opis:
Dynamic loads of the connecting bolts in a universal joint can greatly affect the bolt fatigue and fracture, as well as the machinery safety and stability. But few researches focused on those. To obtain the dynamic load characteristics of the connecting bolts in a universal joint, this paper established a flexible dynamic model for the connecting bolts. A multibody dynamic model of a universal joint is developed. The dynamic loads on the connecting bolts of the universal joint are analyzed. The influences of the preloads, speeds and loads are studied. The amplitude and frequency properities are obtained. The effect of the preload is small when the preload is in the range of 80%~120% of the standard value. The load and speed have great influence on the time- and frequency-domain dynamic loads of the bolts. The flexible dynamic model of the connecting bolt is closer to the actual situation than the rigid model since it can consider the preload and deformation of the bolts. This study can provide guidance for the fatigue life prediction of the universal shaft and its bolts.

Opis:
This work shows that in a two-period framework increase in risk-aversion is not a sufficient condition to invest more in self-insurance, as it is in one-period setting (Dionne and Eeckhoudt). We prove that other factors important for decision-making exist. Relationship between size of loss and future and present income is crucial in this problem. We consider two cases – when an effort to prevent risk precedes its effect and when it is simultaneous. We show that those cases are mathematically and economically different.

Opis:
Nowadays, growing attention is directed towards energy efficiency and issues related to respecting energy. An extremely vital role at improving energy efficiency plays the cogeneration technologies. In the 2012/27/UE Directive [1], the gas turbines [2] in combination with heat recovery, combustion engines [3, 4], steam engines [4], fuel cells [5-7], microturbines [8], Rankine organic cycle [9, 10], Stirling engines [11-15], and others, were included among cogeneration technologies, in which electric energy is produced from waste heat in the combined process. In this work, the distributed generation sources have also been addressed. From the perspective of the article herein, the sources equipped with the crankshaft assembly have been particularly emphasised. This mechanism converts chemical energy of, among others, fuel or working element into mechanical energy (the piston reciprocating motion is converted into rotary motion of a crankshaft). In this work, the physical model of the crankshaft assembly has been shown, with two degrees of freedom. On the basis of analysis of the physical model (with the static mass reduction), a single-piston simulation model has been developed of the crankshaft assembly, using the Matlab&Simulink software. On the basis of the analysis of the system, the motion equations have been derived, which served the purpose of building the simulation model. Because of the conducted simulations, the curves of displacement, velocity, and piston acceleration have been presented, and, respectively, the angular displacement, angular velocity, and angular acceleration of the crankshaft. The constructed model should be seen as a part of a multi-piston working mechanism in a, for example, Stirling engine.

Evolution of speculative attack models shows certain progress in developing the idea of the role of expectations in the crisis mechanism. Obstfeld (1996) defines expectations as fully exogenous. Morris and Shin (1998) treat the expectations as endogenous (with respect to noise), not devoting too much attention to information structure of the foreign exchange market. Dynamic approach proposed by Angeletos, Hellwig and Pavan (2006) offers more sophisticated assumption about learning process. It tries to reflect time-variant and complex nature of information. However, this model ignores many important details like a Central Bank cost function. Genetic algorithm allows to avoid problems connected with incorporating information and expectations into agent decision-making process to an extent. There are some similarities between the evolution in Nature and currency market performance. In our paper an assumption about rational agent behaviour in the efficient market is criticised and we present our version of the dynamic model of a speculative attack, in which we use a genetic algorithm (GA) to define decision-making process of the currency market agents. The results of our simulation seem to be in line with the theory and intuition. An advantage of our model is that it reflects reality in a quite complex way, i.e. level of noise changes in time (decreasing), there are different states of fundamentals (with “more sensitive” upper part of the scale), the number of inflowing agents can be low or high (due to different globalization phases, different capital flow phases, different uncertainty levels).

Opis:
The emergence of innovative financial services is having a huge impact on competition in the banking services market. The aim of the article is to show, from a dynamic perspective, the foundations of a model of competition occurring in the banking world between traditional financial institutions and fintechs. A dynamic two-sector model of competition is proposed with built-in feedback mechanisms in the form of demand side economies of scale. The model shows changes in market shares after a challenger enters a bank’s market with a portfolio of services as substitutes for the bank’s product offer. The traditional and new entities do not adjust the scope of their products over time, instead competing using those already available. The model obtained three economically significant steady states. Further analysis of the time path showed that the sector is heading towards an oligopolistic market structure in which both entities stabilize their market shares. However, in the event of low initial market penetration by traditional banks, a new innovative entity (a challenger bank) will completely dominate the sector, creating a monopolistic market structure.
Silna konkurencja ze strony fintechów ma ogromny wpływ na konkurencję na rynku usług bankowych. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie modelowych podstaw zachodzącej w świecie bankowości gry konkurencyjnej pomiędzy tradycyjnymi instytucjami finansowymi a fintechami w ujęciu dynamicznym. Zaproponowano dynamiczny dwusektorowy model konkurencji z wbudowanymi mechanizmami sprzężeń zwrotnych w postaci popytowych korzyści skali. W modelu uzyskano trzy sensowne ekonomicznie stany stacjonarne. Dalsza analiza ścieżki czasowej pokazała, że gałąź dąży do oligopolistycznej struktury rynkowej, w której oba podmioty ustabilizują swoje udziały w rynku. W przypadku jednak niskiej początkowej penetracji rynku przez banki tradycyjne nowy innowacyjny podmiot (challenger bank) całkowicie zdominuje gałąź, tworząc monopolistyczną strukturę rynkową.

The paper describes the developed dynamic model of the caterpiller's power transmission. Its advantage is the integrated dimensional model of caterpillar propeller. Animated motion modelling provides the formation and transfer of kinematic and dynamic disturbances from caterpillar chassis, causing the greatest loadings of the power circuit sections. The principle of power transmission mathematical model’s differential equations forming is described. Result of the model's computational research is a set of oscillograms of the drive wheel’s torque changing for different operating modes. The values of power transmission masses' natural frequencies are obtained. The research of the nature of transmission sections' dynamic loading by torsional vibrations, that arise and spread on the shafting, when the linked track rewinds, is carried out. The diagrams show that local maximums of dynamic coefficients characterize the regimes with high hook load. The increase of torques for these sections happens because of approximation of the peculiar frequency of the system and the frequency of one of the harmonic components of stimulating actions. At this peak, value of the oscillation belongs to the masses, the partial frequencies of which are closest to the frequencies to the stimulation actions. Dynamic load of such sections is quite high. The material of these sections often gets fatigue damage, which can lead to breakdown. The analysis of the diagrams, made for basic operation speeds between 1,0 – 5,5 m/sec showed, that maximal peak values of dynamic coefficients appear on sections between 10 and 59 masses in the transmission. Maximal dynamic load of these sections appear at hook load from 0 to 40 kN.

The article presents results of numerical studies on the influence of selected factors on the dynamic effects and vibroactivity in power transmission system with toothed gear. Optimization of the constructions of the toothed gears is in many cases only possible by applying the numerical methods. Dynamic models allow determining the influence of a range of factors on the dynamic phenomena occurring during work of toothed gear. The studies were performed with use a custom developed dynamic model of a test stand with the gears operating in the circulating power system. It was assumed, that properly defined and identified model can be used to analyse dynamic phenomena occurring in meshing and bearings of toothed gears and allows optimizing their construction, especially allows minimization their vibroactivity. Numerical calculations were based on two sets of input data. Sets of input data consist information on all parameters included in the model, and which were determined during the identification process carried out in laboratory at two test stands. Selected results of simulations presented in this article prove, that identified dynamic model can be used to analysis of the impact of various constructional, technological and operational factors on the vibroactivity of the toothed gear.

Learning from the motion principle of quadrotor, a symmetric propeller AUV, which has small size and low velocity is designed. Compared with the AUV equipped with rudders, it has better maneuverability and manipulation at low velocity. According to the Newton-Euler method, the 6 DOF kinematic model and dynamic model of the propeller AUV are established. A stability controller that consists of 3 different PID controllers is designed. It makes the depth and attitude angle as trigger conditions, and the relevant controller is chosen in different moving process. The simulation experiments simulate ideal motion state and disturbed motion state, and experiments results show that the stability controller based on combined sections method can make the best of mature technology of PID, and meet the control requirements in different stages. It has a higher respond speed and accuracy, improving the stability of the propeller AUV under the disturbance of complex ocean currents.

Boom–type roadheaders represent heavy working machines used in underground mines for the drilling of dog headings, for tunnelling and – to a certain extent – for surface mining. The key working process carried out by such roadheaders is rock mining. This process, especially when cutting rocks with low workability, causes strong vibration excitations and dynamic loads not only in a roadheader cutting system, but within its entire construction. The article presents a dynamic model of a boom–type roadheader body. Four vibrating masses, representing the key subassemblies of the studied object and a seat together with a roadheader operator, are distinguished in a spatial physical model with a discrete structure. They are subject to the activity of an excitation from the loads generated in the cutting process. A mathematical model is comprised of 19 non-linear ordinary differential quotations of the second order. The model was implemented in the MATLAB/Simulink environment, in which a simulation model was created. The article presents the examples of results of numerical simulations using the established model.

This article describes original method proposed by authors that provides decreasing of dynamic loading of tractor’s powertrain by means of change of reactive element torsional stiffness. In tracked vehicles one of the most loaded elements is final drive unit which loaded by high dynamic modes. In tractor Chetra 6C-315, final drive is epicyclic where stopped element is ring gear. Authors propose using of strictly resilient (5 degrees in forward-backward direction) mount of ring gear instead of stiffening. Design study of installation between hub and gear ring that connects drum and crown gear, of the resilient metal plates pack was performed. This pack is kind of elastic coupling. Resilient packets of coupling sustain loads and smooth over peak dynamic loads and after elastic deformation of these packets rigid coupling between hub and coupling crown is provided at contact surfaces of skewed stops of hub and crown. To analyse efficiency of proposed method of dynamic loadings decreasing of powertrain elements three-dimensional model of powertrain was created in “Universal Mechanism”. In addition, solid model of caterpillar mover was created in the same software for analysis of influence on powertrain loadings of complex of kinematic and dynamic factors influencing forming of torque on driving sprockets. This article presents results of modelling of loading processes in powertrains elements with elastic coupling and without it during longitudinal motion at various speeds and in turns with various radii. Results show that elements dynamic loading at high loading dynamic modes in case of installed coupling is decreased by 20-30%.

The occurrence of the ofexcessive lateral tire slip phenomenon when driving on curved road trach is the cause of accelerated wear of tire tread, which together with a large number of wheels would lead to higher operational costs ofsuch vehicles. This work using a spatial dynamic model of the vehicle consisting of a two-axle tractor and three-axle trailer with many degrees of freedom, with the possibility of all the wheels steering, moving on a road curve, is a qualitative analysis of the wheels steering problem aimed at the avoidance ofslip in the pneumatic tire - road surface coactions area. The model of coactions of pneumatic tire with the road surface, side drift included, together with accounting the phenomenon of asymmetrical loading of the vehicle chassis and drive train was adopted. Control for all the wheels steering should lead to an overlay or the maximum approximation of the front axle wheel tracks with the rear axles wheel tracks for the of articulated long-haul truck assembly moving on the road curve. The solution of model eąuations of motion for the vehicle considered will allow for the definition of the relationship between the front axle and rear axle wheels steering angles and velocity of movement of the mass centre of articulated haul truck assembly for the given set of design and operating parameters. The designation of the vehicle track will be possible.

In the article are presented chosen research results of influence of local defects in toothed gear on the vibroacoustic signal. Vibroacoustic methods of diagnostics are perfectly suitable to the task of monitoring the status of devices during their normal work. Monitoring of vibrations during operation is particular importance for industrial toothed gear as well gears working in the power transmission systems of aircrafts. Taken into account negative consequences of damages in toothed gears, determination of changes in vibroacoustic signal can prevent possible failures, and is therefore very important. Researches were performed with use residual signals created from synchronously averaged time signals generated by identified dynamic model of toothed gear working in circulating power system. Superior purpose of work is development of effectively methods of damage detection, especially in its early stages, what has great importance during operating aircrafts. The study shows that local damage of the wheels affects changes in the frequency distribution of vibroacoustic signals energy. The degree of damage significantly impacts to the possibility of detecting it on the basis of time signals analyses.

This article focuses on the synthesis of conditional dependence structure of recursive Bayesian estimation of dynamic state space models with time-varying parameters using a newly modified recursive Bayesian algorithm. The results of empirical applications to climate data from Nigeria reveals that the relationship between energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission in Nigeria reached the lowest peak in the late 1980s and the highest peak in early 2000. For South Africa, the slope trajectory of the model descended to the lowest in the mid-1990s and attained the highest peak in early 2000. These changepoints can be attributed to the economic growth, regime changes, anthropogenic activities, vehicular emissions, population growth and industrial revolution in these countries. These results have implications on climate change prediction and global warming in both countries, and also shows that recursive Bayesian dynamic model with time-varying parameters is suitable for statistical inference in climate change and policy analysis.

W części teoretycznej artykułu zdefiniowano funkcję trendu przełącznikowego przyporządkowanego jednoznacznie dynamicznemu modelowi korekty błędem (ECM). Przełącznikami w zdefiniowanym trendzie są zmienne egzogeniczne modelu dynamicznego. Prowadząc rozważania dotyczące obu postaci przyczynowo-skutkowego modelu autoregresyjnego: — zdefiniowano krótko- i długookresowe efekty mnożnikowe oddziaływania zmiennych egzogenicznych na zmienną endogeniczną; — przedstawiono wykresy graficzne trendu przełącznikowego wraz z jego granicznymi poziomami; — przeprowadzono symulację zachowania się zmiennej endogenicznej dla założonych zmian zmiennych egzogenicznych; — sprawdzono równoważność rozpatrywanego modelu korekty błędem z jego trendem przełącznikowym w warunkach deterministycznych i stochastycznych zmian.
The theoretical part of the article defines the function of the switching trend associated with the unambiguously dynamic error correction model (ECM). The switches in the defined trend are exogenous variables of the dynamic model. Conducting considerations regarding both forms of the cause-and-effect autoregressive model include: — short and long-term multiplier effects of impact of exogenous variables on the endogenous variable were defined, — graphical graphs of the switching trend with its boundary levels are presented, — simulated the behavior of endogenous variable for assumed changes of exogenous variables, — the equivalence of the considered error correction model with its switching trend in deterministic and stochastic conditions was checked.

High speeds and the resulting hydrodynamic pressure lead to significant floating of the linear guides. During this movement, the floating behaviour shows phenomena that can be explained by the Reynolds equation. This paper presents a dynamic model of the floating behaviour, which adds tribological approaches to the common Reynolds equation since the floating behaviour does not only depend on the speed, but also on numerous other conditions. This developed simulation method is based on the use of finite difference elements and was implemented using Simulink and Matlab, allowing flexible implementation of further influences such as lubrication cycles and geometry of the sliding surface. After adapting the simulation model and determining the parameters, the calculated floating behaviour corresponds well with the experimental results.

The complexity of forest management is a serious barrier in determining a better management policy. Modeling system is a simple method to describe the real situation in nature. A qualitative approach is used to identify the relationship between the dynamics of important behaviors. The causal relationships among the factors were investigated by using causal loop diagram. The model conceptualization was constructed by using a stock-flow diagram. The result of the simulation model was used to determine the alternative policies for better forest management. The results indicated that the tenant welfare would be enhanced through the provision of production-sharing by 25% and the Corporate Social Responsibility by 2%, which yields a reduction in cultivated area of 916.61 ha within a period of 67 years or a decline of land area by an average of 13.68 ha per year.

Opis:
The work presents a dynamic model of a telescopic boom of a roadheader. The boom represents a load–carrying structure of cutting heads and of their drive system. Together with the cutting heads’ drive, it represents a cutting system of a roadheader performing the roadheader’s basic function, that is cutting the heading face. A physical model with a discrete structure was created for the purpose of analysing the vibrations accompanying the operation of a roadheader. Due to the design of the telescopic boom, three vibrating masses are distinguished in this model concentrated in the centre of gravity of rigid bodies representing: the fixed part of the boom, the extendable part (telescope) and a reduction gear (with transverse cutting heads mounted in the output shaft journals) fitted to the extendable part of the boom. It is a spatial model with 18 degrees of freedom. The mathematical model established was used in simulation tests the aim of which was to identify the value and sources of vibrations in the selected structural nodes of the boom during the performance of a working process. The excitation of vibrations is an effect of a computer simulation of the rock cutting process with transverse heads with the set stereometry. The article presents selected results of numerical tests using the established dynamic model.

Eucalyptus globulus Labill is one of the most important economic forest species in Portugal, occupying an area of 875.10³ ha in a total forest area of 3346.10³ ha (Tomé et al., 2007). The main goal of this study is to develop a dominant height growth model for Eucalyptus, applicable throughout the country, representing an improve of the curves that are part of the whole stand model existing in Portugal, the GLOBULUS model (Tomé et al., 2001). The dominant height growth model will be built on a biological function formulated as a difference equation (Algebraic Difference Approach) to an all possible growth intervals data structure. The dynamic model proposed, obtains non biased and efficient estimates for the parameters. Comparing to the already available model, the last has the advantage of expressing the asymptote in weather variables functions, meaning that it is possible to reproduce the eucalyptus growth according to weather changes.

Opis:
The national power can be considered in a static and dynamic aspect as well. This applies to all dimensions of the national power, both military and non-military, including the economic one presented in this article. The national power, treated in a static sense as one of the leading features of the state and estimated over a given period, can only be descriptive. On the other hand, it gains a new dimension in a dynamic sense that consists in the possibility of developing the research into a prognostic area. Therefore, this approach to the issue of the national power has been presented here. The research hypothesis is that on the basis of available statistical data it is possible to construct a verifiable dynamic descriptive model of the national economic power, which enables comparative analyses of the group of selected countries. The research took advantage of statistical methods of selecting variables for linear models and methods of system analysis, including multi-criteria, taxonomic method of comparative analysis. Analyses that have been performed allowed to create a dynamic descriptive model of the national power in the economic sphere. The constructed model was positively verified based on the available figures for the selected group of countries. The conducted calculations suggest that it is possible to use this model for further analyses of the national power in the economic sphere.

Dynamic loads of drive of suspended timbertransporting rope system with an electric motor are investigated. Developed a dynamic model of the electromechanical drive considering the changing of the electric motor’s moment during start-up and the resistance force moment. The changing of the resistance force moment is expressed through the changes in tension force of the pull-bearing rope systems in various manufacturing operations. In determining the moment of inertia of the drive drum is accounted multi-winding of rope. Research on dynamic load of system elements are made with the taking into account the influence of torsional stiffness of system parts and lifting capacity of the suspended timbertransporting rope system.

Opis:
The article is a continuation of the previous author’s papers (2007, 2009, 2012) devoted to the optimal methods of forecasting Polish macroeconomic variables, with the sample of GDP. The research was aimed at a comparison of the quality of nowcasts (”fore-casts” of the present time) and forecasts prepared with a dynamic factor model with mixed frequency and data gaps handling (MFDG-DFM) proposed by Mariano and Murasawa [2003] and MIDAS model augmented with factor structure (DFM-MIDAS), described for the first time in the paper of Marcellino and Schumacher [2008]. Mathematical backgrounds of both models were presented and a combination of Kalman filter and Maximum likelihood estimation was hinted as the estimation framework for both of them. The gained results show an advantage of Mariano and Murasawa approach in the field of the forecasts (approx-imately 15% more adequate forecasts for 2 and more quarters ahead) but this model is less adequate than the competitor for one quarter ahead forecasts and nowcasts.

Opis:
A new two-stage approach to the identification of polynomial Wiener systems is proposed. It is assumed that the linear dynamic system is described by a transfer function model, the memoryless nonlinear element is invertible and the inverse nonlinear function is a polynomial. Based on these assumptions and by introducing a new extended parametrization, the Wiener model is transformed into a linear-in-parameters form. In Stage I, parameters of the transformed Wiener model are estimated using the least squares (LS) and instrumental variables (IV) methods. Although the obtained parameter estimates are consistent, the number of parameters of the transformed Wiener model is much greater than that of the original one. Moreover, there is no unique relationship between parameters of the inverse nonlinear function and those of the transformed Wiener model. In Stage II, based on the assumption that the linear dynamic model is already known, parameters of the inverse nonlinear function are estimated uniquely using the IV method. In this way, not only is the parameter redundancy removed but also the parameter estimation accuracy is increased. A numerical example is included to demonstrate the practical effectiveness of the proposed approach.

This article presents executed stages of preparing and identification a power circulating gear testing machine. The purposefulness of modelling this test-stand was justified by its popularity and universal character that enabled to apply it in many laboratory research works. It was assumed that property defined and next identified model would be used to analyze dynamic phenomena in meshing and bearings of examined gears and it enabled to optimize their construction, especially to minimize their vibroactivity. The described model combines advantages of two main modelling directions: it is characterized by very accurate analyzes of a model of toothed wheels pair, that includes nonlinear description of properties of both gears meshing in a test-stand (examined and closing), as well as it includes the influence of remaining system's elements, which enables to examine the dynamics of a system as a whole. Calculation algorithm additionally includes possibility to simulate faults of wheels in the examined gear, such as chipping of tooth tips, tooth root crack together with possible faults of rolling bearings elements. The article includes description of the construction of a test-stand, dynamic system model with detailed parameters as well as short characteristics of the simulation program and purposes of its main modules. Next the research works, which aimed at identification of selected parameters of the model, were presented. Afterwards it was verified whether the model was correctly fine tuned by means of measuring the velocity of transversal vibrations at the test-stand using Ometron VH300+ laser vibrometer, and results of laboratory examinations were compared with the results achieved during computer simulation.

Opis:
The paper presents a dynamic model of a test stand with gears operating in a circulating power system as an example of the possibility of using dynamic modeling to optimize the gear construction. The presented model is one of two advanced tools developed within the research conducted for the optimization and diagnosis of various types of gear transmission systems. Both of them were based on the assumption that simulations of system operation at variable loads and rotational speeds could be carried out and that an advanced description of gear tooth interaction could be included. The developed models, after their tuning to real objects, were used as tools for generating vibration signals for various technical states of gears. This allowed determining the influence of various constructional, technological, and operational factors on the vibroactivity of a toothed gear, which is undoubtedly helpful for designers both during the construction of new toothed gears, as well as optimization of the existing ones.

Opis:
Designing power transmission systems is a complex and often time-consuming problem. In this task, various computational tools make it possible to speed up the process and verify a great many different solutions before the final one is developed. It is widely possible today to conduct computer simulations of the operation of various devices before the first physical prototype is built. The article presents an example of a dynamic model of power transmission systems, which has been developed to support work aimed at designing new and optimizing existing systems of that type, as well as to help diagnose them by designing diagnostic algorithms sensitive to early stages of damage development. The paper also presents sample results of tests conducted with the model, used at the gear design stage. In the presented model, the main goal is to reproduce the phenomena occurring in gears as well as possible, using numerous experiments in this direction featured in the literature. Many already historical models present different ways of modeling, but they often made significant simplifications, required by the limitations of the nature of computational capabilities. Differences also result from the purpose of the models being developed, and the analysis of these different ways of doing things makes it possible to choose the most appropriate approach.

Mobility of the robot depends on the vehicle dimensions, locomotion principles and wheel characteristics. The function of the wheel is to carry the load and to produce the traction force. The main factors of wheel terrain interaction are bearing capacity of ground, traction performance of the wheel and geometry of terrain profile. In this paper the system and control concepts of the wheeled robot is discussed in more detail, within the framework provided by the wheel terrain contact model. The dynamic model of the wheeled robot is presented by considering contact forces of the wheel due to their relative motion of the wheel and contact plane. Finally, a dynamic relation is introduced and results are presented in terms of forces, torques and displacements related to wheel terrain interaction. To estimate the forces in the system arising from the interaction between a deformable wheel and rigid terrain using the software package Ansys 10.0. Simulations were performed using Matlab- Simulink program and the results are shown that the proposed controller can overcome the influences the effect of contact forces in order to achieve the desired trajectory.

The objective of this article was to investigate the dynamic evolution behaviors of plasma expansion plumes by pulses laser irradiating centimeter-scale spherical space debris. A calculated model of centimeter-scale spherical space debris irradiated by pulses laser was firstly deduced based on FEM (finite element method)/COMSOL, and the action rules of plasma expansion plumes by pulses laser-generated irradiating the debris were simulated for different laser powers and action times. The results showed that the velocity of plasma expansion plumes was increased with the increase of laser powers and action times. Especially, when the laser power was 700 kW and the action time was close to 25 μs, the maximum velocity of plasma expansion plumes approached 1.91 km/s, and the diffusion radius of plasma expansion plumes was increased by about 2.5 mm. Further, the diffusion radius was about twice that of 400 kW when the action time reached about 48 μs. As a result, by simulating the transient flow process of nanosecond pulses laser irradiating small spherical space debris, the flow field evolution information and plasma plumes evolution characteristics of centimeter-scale space debris at nanosecond time resolution were revealed.

We estimated a non-Stationary dynamic factor model and used it to generate artificial episodes of disinflation (permanent changes in the mean inflation rate). These datasets were used to test the forecasting abilities of alternative underlying inflation indicators (i.e. measures that capture sustained movements in inflation extracted from information in a disaggregated set of price data). We found that the out of sample forecast errors of the benchmark underlying inflation measures (based on unobserved trend extraction) are more severely affected by disinflation than the alternative simpler methods (based on exclusion or re-weighting approaches). We also show that a non-stationary dynamic factor model may be employed for the extraction of the unobserved trend to be used as an underlying inflation measure.
