Opis:
Nowadays there are 72 sites of the Neolithic Middle-Don Culture. Ceramic vessels are ornamented mostly using triangular pricks. These settlements are located on the banks of the rivers Voronezh and Don in their lower reaches. Not far from the town of Dobroe, a  concentration of Neolithic settlements was found. Three of them contained Early Neolithic pottery of the Middle-Don Culture (6th millennium BC). For the first time on the settlement Dobroe 9 a cultural layer was found in situ. Due to the discovery of the assemblage of pottery and stone and bone tools, new excavations allowed us to characterise the material culture of the ancient population of the Upper Don in a new way.

Przedstawiając ewolucję obrazu poczynając od średniowiecznej legendy hiszpańskiej, przez transformacje autorstwa m.in.: Tirso de Moliny, Jeana Baptiste’a Moliera, Ernsta Theodora Amadeusa Hoffmana, George’a Byrona, Aleksandra Puszkina czy Aleksandra Tołstoja, na XX-wiecznych literackich modyfikacjach kończąc, autorka artykułu kieruje swoją uwagę w stronę utworu Kamienny Pan Łesi Ukrainki, podkreśla szczególne miejsce oraz znaczenie kobiecej interpretacji obrazu Don Juana w kręgu europejskiej donżuaniady. Wskazując na elementy tradycyjne oraz nowatorskie „wiecznego obrazu” podkreśla oryginalność interpretacji Łesi Ukrainki, zwycięstwo kobiety, przegraną Don Juana, dobrowolną śmierć rycerza wolności podporządkowującego się kamiennym zasadom władzy.

Предметом интереса в данной статье является миф Дон Жуана в жизни и в творчестве двух великих фигур Серебряного века – Александра Блока и Валерия Брюсова. Рассмoтрение некоторых биографических фактов из жизни писателей (женитьба Блока на Менделеевой, роман Брюсова с Ниной Петровской), а также избранных примеров из их литературного наследия (стихотворения Блока: «Я ее победил, наконец…», Шаги Командора и Брюсова: «Я снова…», Дон-Жуан) в контексте культуры Серебряного века (философия Владимира Соловьева, идея жизнетворчества, представления о «Вечной Женственности», миф о Прекрасной Даме, вампирический миф), привело нас к выводу, что донжуанство было одной из важных составляющих мифов поэтов. Мы отметили, что в обоих случаях понятие донжуанства строго соотносится с понятием вампиризма. С другой стороны, оно связано и с такими понятиями, как: «Вечная Женственность», верность идеалу и значение искусства. Все это дало нам основание констатировать, что продуктивность и потенциал темы Дон Жуана выходят далеко за пределы привычного представления о Дон Жуане как обольстителе.
The subject of interest in this article is the myth of Don Juan in the life and literary works of two great figures of the Silver Age – Alexander Blok and Valery Bryusov. The consideration of the biographies of writers (Blok’s marriage to Mendeleeva, Bryusov’s romance with Nina Petrovskaya) as well as selected examples from their literary works (Blok’s poems: “Ya ee pobedil nakonets…”, “The Commander’s Footsteps”; Bryusov’s poems: “I snova…”, “Don-Juan”) in the context of the culture of the Silver Age (the philosophy of Vladimir Solovyov, the idea of life-creation, ideas about the “Eternal Feminine”, the myth of the Beautiful Lady, the vampiric myth) led us to the conclusion that the ‘don juanism’ was one of the important components of the myths of poets. We noted that in both cases the concept of ‘don juanism’ is strictly correlated with the concept of vampirism. On the other hand, it is also related to such concepts as “Eternal Femininity”, ‘true to the ideal’, and ‘the role of art’. All these provide us with the basis to state that the productivity and potential of the theme of Don Juan goes far beyond the usual notion of Don Juan as a seducer.

The aim of the article is to interpret poems concerning Don Quixote written by contemporary Russian poets, like Iosif Brodsky, Alexander Kushner, Vsevolod Rozhdestvensky, Robert Rozhdestvensky, David Samoilov and many others, with the view to showing how the Spanish literary figure transforms in the receiving culture into an (indigenized) philosophical category. The author sets out to identify the main semantic constants of the Russian Don Quixote, to show an evolution of the hero in the oeuvre of particular poets (Pavel Antokolsky and Zinovy Valshonok) and to indicate the relationship between the image of Don Quixote and the lyrical subject. She also examines the relationship between Don Quixote and Sancho Panza and, finally, explains political connotations of the figure of Don Quixote in the poems by Margarita Aliger and Yevgeny Dolmatovsky.

The aim of this article is to analyse four different poems by David Samoylov, a 20th century Russian writer: The End of Don Juan, The Old Don Juan, The Young Don Juan and The Comandorov’s Footsteps. All of them are new interpretations of the Don Juan story. Thanks to the new plot solutions and to the literary dialogue with Pushkin and Blok, Samoylov’s works are interesting and valuable contribution to the literary versions of the Don Juan theme.

Статья представляет собой продолжение рассуждений по поводу изменений, которые претерпевает образ Дон Жуана в условиях сетевой литературы. Произведения сетевых авторов, апеллирующие к литературной классике, являются довольно распространенным явлением. Кажется, что установка на интертекстуальность является одной из писательских стратегий в интернете. Предметом нашего интереса стали произведения, отсылающие к образу Дон Жуана, опубликованные на русских литературных интернет-порталах, не включенные в процесс офф-лайн, не замеченные критиками. Основной задачей было выявление ведущих при создании образа тенденций, а также результаты, к которым привело их употребление. Рассмотрение группы текстов, принадлежащих к сетевой литературе, позволило нам сделать замечания по поводу бытования образа, рожденного в недрах испанской литературы XVII века, в специфических условиях интернета.
The article is a continuation of discussions about the changes that the literary image of Don Juan undergoes at present in online literature. Appealing to literary classics is quite common in the works of Internet authors. Intertextuality seems to be one of the writing strategies on the web. The subject of our interest are the works referring to the literary image of Don Juan published on Russian literary websites, not included in the offline process and overlooked by literary critics. The main task has been to identify the leading tendencies in creating the image of Don Juan, as well as the results to which employing them led. Analyses of a group of texts belonging to online literature allow the author of the paper to comment on the ways in which a literary image born in the Spanish literature of the 17th century continues to exist in the peculiar Internet conditions.

Opis:
The aim of the present article is to analyse the phenomenon of graphomania on the Internet, with Marina Maslova’s 2004 novel Don Juan as an example. The choice of the text was dictated by the interest in the presence of the eternal image of Don Juan in the Internet space and in the transformations it undergoes there. Taking Maslova’s text as an example, the author of the paper identifies and names essential features of digital literature, among others: derivativeness (non-originality) of literary images, a tense and attractive story, a twisted plot, stereotypical devices, a limited stock of literary images and motifs, the poetics of everyday life, permanent dynamism, polyauthorism, violation of the distance between the author and the text. The analysis of Maslova’s novel makes it possible to identify also the mechanisms of transformations applied to the image of Don Juan in the Internet space. In that connection, it is noted that the discussed writer only takes interest in certain selected situations and motifs from Don Juan’s story, adapts them to the genre of the romance novel, displays a free approach to the literary tradition and deprives the eponymous figure of autonomy in terms of plot.
В статье подвергается исследованию феномен интернет-графомании на примере романа Марины Масловой Дон Жуан (2004). Выбор текста подиктован нашим интересом к бытованию и трансформациям вечного образа в интернет-пространстве. На примере текста Масловой мы выделили и назвали основные приметы сетературы, такие как: вторичность образов, напряженная и привлекательная интрига, закрученный сюжет, шаблонность, скудный запас литературных образов и мотивов, поэтика повседневности, перманентная динамичность, полиавторность, нарушение дистанции между автором и текстом и др. Анализ романа Дон Жуан позволил нам выявить также механизмы переноса известного мирового образа в интернет-пространство. В связи с этим вопросом мы отметили обращение автора романа лишь к отдельным ситуациям и мотивам истории Дон Жуана, приспособление их к жанру дамского романа, свободное отношение к литературной традиции, лишение образа сюжетной самостоятельности.

W artykule rozważana jest możliwość ustanowienia na gruncie literaturoznawstwa rosyjskiego, poprzez analogię do tekstu petersburskiego, tekstu donżuanowskiego literatury rosyjskiej. W tym celu ustanowiony został zespół cech wspólnych dla utworów odwołujących się do postaci Don Juana. Jednym z dowodów istnienia tekstu donżuanowskiego jest krąg tekstów odwołujących się do modelu słynnego uwodziciela i prześmiewcy. Innymi wyznacznikami są obecność osnowy mitycznej, związek ze sferą ‘sacrum’ i ‘profanum’, obecność konstant w zachowaniu Don Juana, zbliżony sposób językowego kodowania i inne.
The author of the paper considers the possibility of creating in the Russian theory of literature, by way of analogy to the ‘Petersburg text,’, the ‘Don-Juan text’ of Russian literature. To this purpose, a complex of permanent futures shared by literary works that refer to Don Juan are described. The existence of a ‘Don-Juan text’ is evidenced by a group of literary works that employ the archetype of the famous seducer. Other indicators are: the presence of mythological structure, connection with the spheres of the sacred and the profane, constants in Don Juan’s behaviour, specific vocabulary, classifying the most recurrent words and phrases according to their semantics and function in the text.

The aim of this study is to present and synthesize the image of Eugeniusz Morawski’s output as presented by the Polish press and Polish composers. Morawski is an unknown composer, absent from the concert programs. His works were performed during composer’s lifetime and caused mixed and extreme reactions from the critics. His first successful concert – performance of now lost symphony-poem Vae victis in Salle Gaveau, Paris, was barely noted in Polish press. The first performance of symphonic poem Don Quichotte in 1912 caused vivid, yet mixed reactions. An important review was written by Aleksander Poliński, who criticized Morawski for being stylistically dependent on Richard Strauss’s style. Other reviews, some of them anonymous, were positive. The composer was praised for his talent and he was predicted to become a huge success in the future. Later on, his works were infrequently performed. In 1925, the symphonic poem Nevermore was performed in Warsaw under direction of Grzegorz Fitelberg. The work was very well received by the critic Karol Stromenger. Yet Morawski’s greatest success was his ballet The maid of Świteź, presented in Warsaw’s Great Theatre in May 1931. In 1933 Morawski received for this work the musical prize from the Ministry of Religious Beliefs and Publick Enlightment, winning the competition with Karol Szymanowski’s Symphony no.4. The event was discussed in great detail by the press. Some of the reviewers praised this work as Morawski’s masterpiece, others criticized it as worthless and clumsily written. The ballet was presented again in 1962 under the direction of Bohdan Wodiczko. A critic and a composer Stefan Kisielewski praised the word for its great orchestral effects and eerie climate. The article also uses extracts of letters of a composer Szymon Laks, essays of Stefan Kisielewski, and unpublished material from Polish Composers Union archive – letters of Grażyna Bacewicz and Włodzimierz Sokorski.

W niniejszym artykule staramy się przybliżyć tematykę tłumaczenia hiszpańskiego egzystencjalizmu i w szczególności poglądów Miguela de Unamuno. Uwzględniając powody filozofowania i analizowania relacji między filozofią a literaturą, badamy możliwości tłumaczenia konkretnych tekstów – Niebla i Vida de Don Quijote y Sancho w języku gruzińskim.

Opis:
Maize has a significant economic impact all over the world. Fungi in the genus Fusarium that cause fusarium ear rot of maize have significant effect on the yeld quality and quantity. The main threat is the contamination of grain with the mycotoxins they produce - as these are harmful to humans and animals. Such mycotoxins are a group of secondary metabolites of varied structure, which belong mainly to trichothecenes, fumonisins and zearalenones. As no efficient chemical control read and pink rot in the field is possible, prevention relies on cultural practices and use resistant hybrids. Insects play an important role in the infection, which is why it is recommended to control their prevalence during growing season.
Kukurydza ma istotne znaczenie ekonomiczne na całym świecie. Grzyby z rodzaju Fusarium powodujące fuzariozę kolb kukurydzy mają istotny wpływ na powstawanie strat jakościowych i ilościowych w plonie. Głównym zagrożeniem jest skażenie ziarna wytwarzanymi przez nie mykotoksynami, które są szkodliwe dla ludzi i zwierząt. Jest to grupa metabolitów wtórych, o zróżnicowanej budowie, należących głównie do trichotecenów, fumonizyn i zearalenonów. Z uwagi na fakt, że ochrona chemiczne jest mało efektywna, ważne jest stosowanie prawidłowej agrotechniki i dobór odpornej odmiany. Istotną rolę w zakażeniu odrywają żerujące na kukurydzy owady, stąd wskazane jest kontrolowanie ich występowania w uprawie.

Opis:
The Middle Don Culture, distributed within the Middle and Upper Don River area, is thought to be one of the earliest Eastern European Neolithic cultures, and is dated to the 6th–5th millennium BC. A group of Neolithic sites was found on the right shore of the Voronezh River, and has been named the “Dobroe sites”. The Dobroe 9 settlement is one of few sites in this region at which an assemblage of Middle Don Culture has been recorded in a clear stratigraphic position. The numerous faunal remains, ceramic complex and stone inventory found at this site allows for a reconstruction of the earliest stages of the Neolithic. The elaborated ceramic typology suggests a gradual transformation of the local culture. The particularity of sedimentation process and deposition of artefacts allowed a precise correlation of stone inventory types with early-Neolithic ceramic types. Preliminary reconstructions of palaeoclimate and episodes of human activity for this time period were implemented based on geochemical methods.
