В условиях повышенного спроса на древесину и постоянной тенденпии к переработке все более тонких сортиментов круглой древесины ледует считаться с трудностями в обеспечении соответствующих количеств пиломатериалов одинаковой крупной ширины. В связи с этим были проведены исследования по проверке и испольэванию технологических возможностей, которые бы позволили использовать в производстве пиломатериалы с шириной более узкой, чем ширина клееных элементов. Лабораторные опыты охватывали следующие этапы: а) изготовление из соснового пиломатериала толщиной 25 мм образпов размером 50 х 50 х 25 мм, б) выполнение соединения 2 образцов их боковыми поверхностями (поперек волокон) - с помощью склеивания, - с помощью желобчатых круглых широв размером 6 х 32, 8 х 36 и 10 х 40 мм.
At increased demand for wood and constant tendency to process thinner and thinner round wood assortments, it is to be reckoned with difficulties in getting a suitable sawnwood amount with equal great width. In this connection investigations on estimation and preparation of technological possibilities of using in production the sawnwood narrower than the width of glued elements have been undertaken. The laboratory tests comprised the following stages: a) making samples of 50 x 50 x 25 mm from 25 mm thick pine sawnwood, b) connection of 2 samples by their lateral areas (across fibres) by means of glueing, by round riffled pegs of 6 x 32, 8 x 36 and 10 x 40 mm, c) determination of forces in daN required for setting pegs in openings depeni ing on the fitting precision and needed for destruction of differently made joint by bending and tension of samples.

Соответствущие исследования были направлены на определение механических свойств мебельных соединений с выбранными вязками. Особое внимание уделяли статической прочности, деформациям под влиянием статических нагрузок и вопросам усталостной прочности, а также зависимости между статической и усталостной прочностью. Исследования охватывали группу 4 видов вязок: шиповых, нахлесточных, с открытым сквозным типом и с плоским шипом. Все вязки склеивали двумя видами клеев: глютиновым и полиуксусновиниловым. Для всех групп вязок определяли максимальное напряжение возникающее при статической нагрузке. Определяли также графическим способом зависимость деформации вязки от нагрузки в статической пробе. Целью указанных исследований была разработка основной проблемы, какой являлось определение зависимости между статической и усталостной прочностью. Эта зависимость была определена путем дисперсионного анализа для каждого вида вязки и для всей их группы с помощью общего уравнения: n=e⁻ax₁+b, где а и Ь коэффициенты с различным значением для разных вязок.
The aim of the investigations was to determine mechanical properties of furniture connections of selected joints. The main attention was concentrated upon the static strength, deformation occurring under the effect of static loads and upon the problem of fatigue strength and relations between the static and fatigue strength. The investigations comprised a group of 4 joint kinds: tenon, halved, forked and dowel joints. All joints were glued with two glue kinds: glutine and poly- acetovinyl glue. Maximum tensions occurring at the static load were determined for all joint groups. Also the dependences of connection deformation on the load in a static test were determined in the graphical way. The above investigations were aimed at solution of the main problem, i.e. determination of the relationship between static and fatigue strength. This relationship was determined by means of the analysis of variance for each joint kind and for the whole group of joints by the general equation: n=e⁻ax₁+b, where a and b - coefficients of different values for particular joint kinds.

Decomposing the space of k-tensors on a manifold M into the components invariant and irreducible under the action of GL(n) (or O(n) when M carries a Riemannian structure) one can define generalized gradients as differential operators obtained from a linear connection ∇ on M by restriction and projection to such components. We study the ellipticity of gradients defined in this way.

Opis:
Two fiber bundles E₁ and E₂ over the same base space M yield the fibered set ℱ(E₁,E₂) → M, whose fibers are defined as $C^{∞}(E₁ₓ,E₂ₓ)$, for each x ∈ M. This fibered set can be regarded as a smooth space in the sense of Frölicher and we construct its tangent prolongation. Then we extend the Frölicher-Nijenhuis bracket to projectable tangent valued forms on ℱ(E₁,E₂). These forms turn out to be a kind of differential operators. In particular, we consider a general connection on ℱ(E₁,E₂) and study the associated covariant differential and curvature.

We discuss the ideas of Morse decompositions and index filtrations for isolated invariant sets for both single-valued and multi-valued maps. We introduce the definition of connection matrix pairs and present the theorem of their existence. Connection matrix pair theory for multi-valued maps is used to show that connection matrix pairs obey the continuation property. We conclude by addressing applications to numerical analysis. This paper is primarily an overview of the papers [R1] and [R2].

In [C] and [F1] the connection matrix theory for Morse decomposition is developed in the case of continuous dynamical systems. Our purpose is to study the case of discrete time dynamical systems. The connection matrices are matrices between the homology indices of the sets in the Morse decomposition. They provide information about the structure of the Morse decomposition; in particular, they give an algebraic condition for the existence of connecting orbit set between different Morse sets.

On a Morse decomposition of an isolated invariant set of a homeomorphism (discrete dynamical system) there are partial orderings defined by the homeomorphism. These are called admissible orderings of the Morse decomposition. We prove the existence of index filtrations for admissible total orderings of a Morse decomposition and introduce the connection matrix in this case.

Our main purpose of this paper is to introduce a natural generalization $B_H$ of the Bochner curvature tensor on a Hermitian manifold $M$ provided with the Hermitian connection. We will call $B_H$ the pseudo-Bochner curvature tensor. Firstly, we introduce a unique tensor P, called the (Hermitian) pseudo-curvature tensor, which has the same symmetries as the Riemannian curvature tensor on a Kähler manifold. By using P, we derive a necessary and sufficient condition for a Hermitian manifold to be of pointwise constant Hermitian holomorphic sectional curvature. Our pseudo-Bochner curvature tensor $B_H$ is naturally obtained from the conformal relation for the pseudo-curvature tensor P and it is conformally invariant. Moreover we show that $B_H$ is different from the Bochner conformal tensor in the sense of Tricerri and Vanhecke.

The subject of this paper is the notion of the connection in a regular Poisson manifold M, defined as a splitting of the Atiyah sequence of its Lie algebroid. In the case when the characteristic foliation F is an ℝ-Lie foliation, the fibre integral operator along the adjoint bundle is used to define the Euler class of the Poisson manifold M. When M is oriented 3-dimensional, the notion of the index of a local flat connection with singularities along a closed transversal is defined. If, additionally, F has compact leaves (then F is a fibration over $S^{1}$), an analogue of the Euler-Poincaré-Hopf index theorem for flat connections with singularities along closed transversals is obtained.

A method is presented for proving primality and functional completeness theorems, which makes use of the operation-relation duality. By the result of Sierpiński, we have to investigate relations generated by the two-element subsets of $A^{k}$ only. We show how the method applies for proving Słupecki's classical theorem by generating diagonal relations from each pair of k-tuples.
