    The article presents the conception of coordinate measurement. The characteristic of two systems (Coordinate Measuring Machine – CMM and Coordinate Measuring Arm – CMA) which are based on this measurement is also shown. Further on their construction, working principle, application, advantages and disadvantages are described. Finally, the methods of accuracy evaluation of these devices are presented and compared.

    Opis:
    The Compartment Model Approach (CMA model) applied in analysis of mixing process in a dual mixing vessel is presented in this paper. The structure and theory of CMA model for a dual impeller case are described. A method for the determination of separation border between circulation compartments for both impellers is proposed. Changes of circulation flow rates in dependence of impellers' geometry and spacing are discussed.

    Numerous practical engineering applications can be formulated as non-convex, non-smooth, multi-modal and ill-conditioned optimization problems. Classical, deterministic algorithms require an enormous computational effort, which tends to fail as the problem size and its complexity increase, which is often the case. On the other hand, stochastic, biologically-inspired techniques, designed for global optimum calculation, frequently prove successful when applied to real life computational problems. While the area of bio-inspired algorithms (BIAs) is still relatively young, it is undergoing continuous, rapid development. Selection and tuning of the appropriate optimization solver for a particular task can be challenging and requires expert knowledge of the methods to be considered. Comparing the performance of viable candidates against a defined test bed environment can help in solving such dilemmas. This paper presents the benchmark results of two biologically inspired algorithms: covariance matrix adaptation evolution strategy (CMA-ES) and two variants of particle swarm optimization (PSO). COCO (COmparing Continuous Optimizers) – a platform for systematic and sound comparisons of real-parameter global optimization solvers was used to evaluate the performance of CMA-ES and PSO methods. Particular attention was paid to the effciency and scalability of both techniques.

    Coordinate measuring arms (CMAs) are devices which more and more often replace conventional coordinate measuring machines because of their undoubted advantages, such as mobility, the opportunity to increase the measuring volume, the opportunity to connect the optical probe, and above all, good price-quality ratio. Because these devices are handheld and redundant, what has the greatest impact on the measurement result accuracy are the operator, the machine kinematics and its ability to obtain repeatable measurement results; despite the fact that one point can be obtained from an infinite number of shoulders’ positions. In this paper it was determined by using R&R method how significant are the impacts of both the operator and the measuring device on the accuracy of measurements done with CMA, both with rigid switch probe and optical probe.

    On selected days from July to September 2017, the butterfly species with twilight and nocturnal activity in the village of Ksany in agriculturally and little anthropogenically transferred land were studied. Catching was done in the evening and night hours, using a method of the vividly attracting to the light. Flying moths were photographed on-site for later determination. A total of 13 catches were carried out with an average at intervals of 1-2 weeks. Over 60 moths species were determined, mostly belonging to the families Geometridae and Erebidae. When analyzing the results of catches, basic weather parameters such as temperature, air pressure and moon phase were taken into account.

    W artykule zostały opisane nazwy motyla dziennego i nocnego wyekscerpowane z wielkopolskich źródeł dialektologicznych. Współcześnie pozyskane dane językowe zebrano w ramach projektu edukacyjnego przeprowadzonego na terenie gminy Pobiedziska (pow. Poznań). Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań terenowych uzyskano – obok nazw ogólnych – zaledwie kilka nazw gatunkowych motyli. Nazwy współczesne zostały zestawione z nazwami wyekscerpowanymi z materiałów archiwalnych AdamaTomaszewskiego i Atlasu języka i kultury ludowej Wielkopolski. W tekście poczyniono także drobne uwagi etymologiczne dotyczące zróżnicowanych na terenie Wielkopolski nazw motyla i ćmy.
    The article describes the names of the diurnal and nocturnal butterflies extracted from dialectological sources from Greater Poland. Contemporary linguistic data were collected as part of an educational project carried out in Pobiedziska commune (Poznań district). The field research has resulted in just a few species names of butterflies, next to generic names. Contemporary names have been juxtaposed with names excerpted from Adam Tomaszewski’s archival materials and the Atlas of the language and folk culture of Greater Poland. The text also makes minor etymological remarks on the names used for the butterfly and the moth, which vary from one location in Greater Poland to another

    Opis:
    In this paper, a novel probabilistic tracking method is proposed. It combines two competing models: (i) a discriminative one for background classification; and (ii) a generative one as a track model. The model competition, along with a combinatorial data association, shows good signal and background noise separation. Furthermore, a stochastic and derivative-free method is used for parameter optimization by means of the Covariance Matrix Adaptation Evolutionary Strategy (CMA-ES). Finally, the applicability and performance of the particle trajectories reconstruction are shown. The algorithm is developed for NA61/SHINE data reconstruction purpose and therefore the method was tested on simulation data of the NA61/SHINE experiment.

    W opracowaniu przedstawiono innowacyjny projekt wdrożony w grupie spółek giełdowych jako kompleksowe podejście do zarządzania wiekiem w organizacjach. Program pod nazwą Akademia Mentoringu Korporacyjnego (AMK) został opracowany i wdrożony w odpowiedzi na zdiagnozowane w grupie spółek problemy dotyczące m.in. możliwości utraty wysoko wykwalifikowanej kadry (odchodzenie na emeryturę), a wraz z nią kluczowych kompetencji pracowników oraz braku kultury dzielenia się wiedzą i doświadczeniem między pracownikami (szczególnie w aspekcie międzypokoleniowym). Kluczowym celem programu było wypracowanie rozwiązania umożliwiającego organizacji wejście na poziom „organizacji uczącej się” poprzez wypracowanie mechanizmów wspomagania rozwoju młodych, niedoświadczonych pracowników dzięki zaangażowaniu i rozwojowi umiejętności wśród kluczowych pracowników wiedzy (pracowników z największym stażem i osiągnięciami w organizacji). Program ten można uznać za modelowe rozwiązanie dla organizacji borykających się z licznymi problemami wynikającymi z wielopokoleniowości kadry pracowniczej. Jest odpowiedzią na niski poziom zaangażowania pracowników, konflikty pojawiające się we współpracy pomiędzy pracownikami z różnych pokoleń oraz daje możliwość maksymalnego wykorzystania potencjału pracowników wiedzy, stanowiących najczęściej w organizacjach grupę wiekową 50 lub 60 plus.
    In her study, the author presented the innovative project implemented in a group of listed companies as a complex approach to age management in organisations. The programme named The Corporate Mentoring Academy (CMA) has been developed and implemented in response to the diagnosed in the group of companies problems concerning, inter alia, possibility of loss of highly qualified staff (retirement) and, together with it, the key competences of employees as well as the lack of culture of sharing knowledge and experience among employees (particularly in the intergenerational aspect). The key objective of the programme was to work out a solution enabling the organisation entering the level of “learning organisation” through development of mechanisms of supporting the development of young, unexperienced employees owing to commitment and skills development among the key knowledge workers (the employees with the greatest practice and achievements in the organisation). The programme can be considered as the model solution for the organisations coping with numerous problems issuing from the multigenerational nature of the workforce. It is a reply to the low level of employees’ commitment, conflicts occurring in cooperation between employees from different generations as well as it provides the opportunity for the maximum use of the potential of knowledge workers, most often constituting in organisations the age group of 50+ or 60+.
