We introduce the concept of a hyper BCI-algebra which is a generalization of a BCI-algebra, and investigate some related properties. Moreover we introduce a hyper BCI-ideal, weak hyper BCI-ideal, strong hyper BCI-ideal and reflexive hyper BCI-ideal in hyper BCI-algebras, and give some relations among these hyper BCI-ideals. Finally we discuss the relations between hyper BCI-algebras and hyper groups, and between hyper BCI-algebras and hyper $H_{v}$-groups.

As a generation of fuzzy set, the notion of complex fuzzy set which is an innovative concept is introduced by Ramot, Milo, Friedman and Kandel. The purpose of this article is to apply complex fuzzy set to BCK/BCI-algebras. The notions of a complex subalgebra and a complex left (right) reduced ideal in a BCK/BCI- algebra are introduced, and related properties are investigated. Characterizations of a complex subalgebra are provided, and the homomorphic image (preimage) of a complex subalgebra and a complex left (right) reduced ideal.

In this paper an adaptive median filtering denoising algorithm is proposed to measure yarn diameter and its unevenness. Images of nine different yarn samples were captured using one set of a self-developed yarn image acquisition system. Image separation of the background and yarn sections was conducted using a combination of adaptive median filtering, adaptive threshold segmentation and morphological processing. The noise-free yarn image was used for diameter detection of the subsequent yarn image and the discrimination of the yarn unevenness. Experimental results show that the testing data of yarn unevenness detection based on the adaptive median filter denoising algorithm is very consistent with the data using the traditional method. It is proved that the yarn detection method proposed, based on an adaptive median filter denoising algorithm, is feasible. It can be used to calculate yarn diameter accurately and measure yarn unevenness efficiently, so as to determine the quality of yarn appearance objectively.
W artykule zaproponowano algorytm odszumiania z adaptacyjnym filtrem medianowym (AMF) do pomiaru średnicy przędzy i jej nierówności. Obrazy dziewięciu różnych próbek przędzy zostały przechwycone przy użyciu jednego zestawu samodzielnie opracowanego systemu akwizycji obrazów przędzy. Rozdzielenie obrazu tła i odcinków przędzy przeprowadzono przy użyciu kombinacji AMF, adaptacyjnej segmentacji progowej i przetwarzania morfologicznego. Bezszumowy obraz przędzy wykorzystano do wykrywania średnicy przędzy i rozróżnienia nierówności przędzy. Wyniki eksperymentalne pokazały, że dane testowe dotyczące wykrywania nierówności przędzy w oparciu o zaproponowany algorytm miały wysoką zgodność z danymi uzyskanymi przy użyciu tradycyjnej metody. Algorytmu tego można użyć do dokładnego obliczenia średnicy przędzy i skutecznego pomiaru nierówności przędzy, aby obiektywnie określić jakość wyglądu przędzy.

Two optical bands and four EPR (or spin-Hamiltonian) parameters (g factors $g_{∥}$, $g_{⊥}$ and hyperfine structure constants $A_{∥}$, $A_{⊥}$) of the tetragonally-compressed $Nb^{4+}$ octahedral center in glasses are calculated from two methods, the complete diagonalization (of energy matrix) method and the perturbation theory method. Both methods are founded on the two-spin-orbit-parameter model where both the contribution to the spectral data from the spin-orbit parameter of central $d^{n}$ ion and that of ligand ion via covalence effect are considered. The calculated results from both the complete diagonalization (of energy matrix) method and perturbation theory method show reasonable agreement with the experimental values. The signs and possible misprint for the observed hyperfine structure constants $A_{∥}$ and $A_{⊥}$ are suggested, and the local structure of the tetragonal $Nb^{4+}$ center in glasses due to the Jahn-Teller effect is gained from the calculations. The results are discussed.

In the context of resource utilization, the applications of waste biomass have attracted increasing attention. Previous studies have shown that forming biochar by heat treatment of sludge could replace the traditional sludge disposal methods, and sludge biochar is proved to be efficient in wastewater treatment. In this work, the pyrolysis, hydrothermal carbonization and microwave pyrolysis methods for preparing sludge biochar were reviewed, and the effects of different modification methods on the performance of sludge biochar in the synthesis process were comprehensively analyzed. This review also summarized the risk control of heavy metal leaching in sludge biochar, increasing the pyrolysis temperature and use of the fractional pyrolysis or co-pyrolysis were usually effectively meathods to reduce the leaching risk of heavy metal in the system, which is crucial for the wide application of sludge biochar in sewage treatment. At the same time, the adsorption mechanism of sludge biochar and the catalytic mechanism as the catalytic material in AOPs reaction, the process of radical and non-radical pathway and the possible impacts in the sludge biochar catalytic process were also analyzed in this paper.

In order to study the flow field characteristics of cushion system of partial air cushion support catamaran (PACSCAT) in waves, an analysis was carried out involving flexible treatment on the bow and stern air seals to simulate air seal shape under test conditions by means of computational fluid dynamics method and fluid structure interaction (FSI) method. On this basis, the pressure conditions of the air cushion chamber and the pressurized chamber at different wavelengths and different speeds are studied and compared with experimental results. The experimental results show that: for the air cushion pressure, the nonlinear characteristics of the numerical calculation results are more subtle than the experimental values, after linear transformation, the amplitudes of the experimental values are obviously greater than the calculated values after linear transformation, but the average values are not much different; At low speed of 2.0m/s, the spatial pressure distribution of the pressurized chamber and the air cushion chamber are uniformly distributed, at high speed of 3.6m/s, except for a certain pressure jump occurred in the air cushion chamber near the stern air seal, the pressure in other spaces is also evenly distributed, it proves that the pressurized chamber type of air intake can effectively meet the air cushion pressure balance.

A graph in a certain graph class is called minimizing if the least eigenvalue of its adjacency matrix attains the minimum among all graphs in that class. Bell et al. have identified a subclass within the connected graphs of order $n$ and size $m$ in which minimizing graphs belong (the complements of such graphs are either disconnected or contain a clique of size $ n/2 $). In this paper we discuss the minimizing graphs of a special class of graphs of order $n$ whose complements are connected and contains exactly one cycle (namely the class $ \mathcal{U}_n^c $ of graphs whose complements are unicyclic), and characterize the unique minimizing graph in $ \mathcal{U}_n^c $ when $ n \ge 20 $.

InAs quantum dots were grown by molecular beam epitaxy in the Stranski-Krastanow growth mode and annealed under $N_2$ atmospheres at different temperatures. The evolution of quantum dots with the annealing temperature increasing were slightly different with the results reported in the literature. Atomic force microscopy investigations of quantum dots uncapped layer show a size initial increase followed by a prompt decrease as annealing temperature increases. It was found that the photoluminescence signal on quantum dots capped with GaAs layer was first slightly red-shifted and then blue-shifted with an increase in annealing temperature. The blue-shift can be attributed to In/Ga interdiffusion in annealing process. Red-shift of optical features indicates the change of the quantum dots compostion, size, and strain from the barrier.

Due to the complex randomness and nonlinearity of rolling bearing vibration signal, it is challenging to extract fault features effectively. By analyzing the vibration mechanism of rolling bearing, it is found that the vibration signal of local damage defects of rolling bearing has the characteristics of periodic impact and amplitude modulation. The variational mode decomposition (VMD) algorithm has a good advantage in dealing with nonlinear and nonstationary signals and decomposing a signal into different modes. However, VMD has the problem of parameter selection, which directly affects the performance of VMD processing, and causes mode aliasing. Therefore, a rolling bearing fault diagnosis method based on improved VMD is proposed. A new fitness function combining differential evolution (DE) algorithm with gray wolf optimization (GWO) algorithm is proposed to form a new hybrid optimization algorithm, named DEGWO. The simulation results show that the improved VMD method based on DEGWO can adaptively remove the noise according to the characteristics of the signal and restore the original characteristics of the vibration signal. Finally, in order to verify the advantages of the research, the information entropy is extracted from the data of 1000 samples in the bearing database of Case Western Reserve University as the feature set, which is input into support vector machine (SVM) for fault diagnosis test. The results show that the diagnostic accuracy of this method is 96.5%, which effectively improved the accuracy of rolling bearing fault diagnosis.

The single-phase voltage loss is a common fault. Once the voltage-loss failure occurs, the amount of electrical energy will not be measured, but it is to be calculated so as to protect the interest of the power supplier. Two automatic calculation methods, the power substitution and the voltage substitution, are introduced in this paper. Considering the lack of quantitative analysis of the calculation error of the voltage substitution method, the grid traversal method and MATLAB tool are applied to solve the problem. The theoretical analysis indicates that the calculation error is closely related to the voltage unbalance factor and the power factor, and the maximum calculation error is about 6% when the power system operates normally. To verify the theoretical analysis, two three-phase electrical energy metering devices have been developed, and verification tests have been carried out in both the lab and field conditions. The lab testing results are consistent with the theoretical ones, and the field testing results show that the calculation errors are generally below 0.2%, that is correct in most cases.

For purposes of studying the heat transfer behavior of various fluids in a refrigeration system, a dynamic model is established, obtained on the basis of analysis concerning the effects of adsorption velocity, adsorbent bed temperature, condensing temperature, and heat transfer fluids, as well as changes of external conditions. It is demonstrated that adsorption velocity increases sharply in the initial phase of adsorption process and gradually declines after reaching a peak value, whereas condensing temperature increases sharply in the initial phase of desorption process and decreases after reaching a peak value with the desorption quantity decreasing. Furthermore, the increase of heat source temperature and the decrease of cooling water temperature can advance the adsorption process. The present study therefore suggests some ways of improving the performance of such a refrigeration system by increasing heat source temperature, decreasing ambient air temperature, increasing return air temperature and decreasing cooling water temperature.
