Opis:
The soft rock materials have special dynamic properties in deep mining. Their dynamic compression tests are performed with experimental system of Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB). The results of experiment indicate that the dynamic stress-strain curves of rock materials are of distinct plastic yield characteristics. Based on modified excess stress model, according to the function relationship between strain, strain rate and, to simplify constitutive equation of modified excess stress model with dimensionless analysis, the simplified constitutive equation of modified excess stress model is obtained; And then, continuum damage theory and statistical damage theory are incorporated into the simplified constitutive equation of modified excess stress model account for the influence of damage to dynamic strength, the simplified constitutive equation of damage excess stress model is built up. The simplified constitutive functions are fitted out respectively on the basis of the experimental data. There is a good coherence between the fitting stress-strain curves and the experimental stress-strain curves.
Ustalono wysoką spójność pomiędzy krzywymi teoretycznymi i doświadczalnymi.

Opis:
In this study, the species identifications of seven Ephedra plants, including three medicinal plants from the Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China, were conducted using phylogenetic analyses, and the method’s validity was verified. The phylogenetic trees constructed from the maturase-coding gene (matK) and internal transcribed spacer 1 (ITS1) sequences showed that the former could be used for identifying five Ephedra plants, Ephedra intermedia, E. equisetina, E. antisyphilitica, E. major, and E. aphylla, but it had less power to discriminate E. sinica and E. przewalskii, while the latter could distinguish five Ephedra plants, E. przewalskii, E. equisetina, E. antisyphilitica, E. major, and E. aphylla, but it had less power to discriminate E. sinica and E. intermedia. However, when the two genes were combined, the seven species could be completely distinguished from each other, especially the medicinal plants from the others, which is significant in developing their pharmaceutical uses and in performing quality control assessments of herbal medicines. The method presented here could be applied to the analysis of processed Ephedra plants and to the identification of the botanical origins of crude drugs. Additionally, we discovered that E. equisetina and E. major were probably closely related to each other, and that E. sinica, E. intermedia, and E. przewalskii also had a close genetic relationship.

Opis:
The adsorption of pentafl uorobenzene on nine ionic liquid-based silicas was investigated using solid phase extraction. The effects of several variables such as the type of ionic liquid groups, adsorption time, temperatures and water ratio in the solution system were experimentally evaluated. The imidazole-chloride ionic liquid group based silica exhibited the highest adsorption efficiency under the optimized conditions of 5 min adsorption at 30°C in water/methanol (30:70, vol%) solution. In addition, the effects of pH, as well as type and concentrations of chloride salts were investigated. At pH values other than neutral and high salt concentration, the adsorption efficiency was reduced. Finally, the relative standard deviation of less than 5.8% over a 5-day period showed a high precision for the nine tested sorbents.

Opis:
Kinetic models can be used to characterize the flotation process. In this paper, three primary parameters, namely, distribution of flotation rate constant f(K), order of flotation process n and ultimate recovery R∞ are presented to perform analysis of flotation kinetics. The flotation rate constant f(K) is a function of both the size and hydrophobicity of particles. Though the more commonly used distributions are Delta function as well as Rectangular, Kelsall and Gamma models, there is no agreement in the literature as to which distribution function better characterize the floatability distribution. The first-order models can be used to describe most mineral flotation processes, while there is also evidence that the non-integral-order equation is capable of representing the kinetic characteristics of the batch flotation process. The order is lower than 1 in the initial moments of the flotation process. The solution of ultimate recovery calculated by the least squares method is greater than 100% (R∞ >100%). An empirical model was proposed to avoid the improper phenomenon in the solution of ultimate recovery, which can improve the availability and validity of kinetic models. Finally, more attention should be paid to the overfitting resulting from the increase in the number of parameters in the statistical analysis of kinetic models.

Opis:
Ab initio calculations based on the density functional theory have been performed to investigate the migrations of interstitial helium (He) atoms in Au-Ag alloys with two different mass ratios (Au₃Ag₂ and AuAg). The results show that the migration mechanisms of He atoms mainly depend on the crystal structures of alloys, and their migration energy barriers are affected by the migration paths in Au-Ag alloys. He interstitials preferentially occupied the most stable sites, but it is difficult for He interstitials to migrate to nearest most stable sites via second stable positions at room temperature. When He atom is at the tetrahedral position which has higher formation energy, it possibly migrates to nearest tetrahedral positions directly for AuAg alloy. In addition, comparing the migration of He defects in the two alloys, we found that the properties of migration energy and relative stability of He atoms probably slightly depend on the mass-density of Au-Ag alloys.

Opis:
A high energy combustion agent (tetraethylammonium decahydrodecaborate, BHN) was prepared by means of an ion exchange reaction (IER), and the prepared samples were characterized by the advanced diagnostic techniques of Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) etc. The effects of BHN particles on the hazard and combustion properties of fuel rich solid propellants were investigated. The results showed that the BHN samples and fuel rich propellants containing BHN particles can be prepared successfully and solidified safely. The peak temperature of thermal decomposition and the heat of decomposition of the BHN samples prepared were 305.8 °C and 210.9 J•g-1 at a heating rate of 10 K•min-1, respectively. The burning rate and pressure exponent of fuel rich solid propellants decreases with increases in the fraction of BHN particles in the propellant formulation. Compared with the reference formulation (sample BP-1), the burning rate of the propellant with 10% mass fraction of BHN particles (sample BP-4) had decreased 30% at 3.0 MPa, and the pressure exponent had dropped from 0.44 to 0.41.

Opis:
The evolution of the microstructure of hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane (CL-20) after a thermal stimulus plays a key role in the performance of CL-20. In the current work, microstructural variations of CL-20 caused by thermal treatment were investigated by X-ray diffraction, in situ variable-temperature optical microscopy, atom force microscopy, and small-angle X-ray scattering. A wave-like process, an abrupt volume expansion, movement, and fragmentation of CL-20 particles during phase transition were observed. After the phase transition (160 °C) the CL-20 sample acquired a very rough surface with numerous dimple depressions, and during the thermal decomposition stage (200 °C) a large number of voids were produced in both the bulk and the surface of the CL-20.
