W artykule przedstawiono możliwość zastosowania modelu systemu logistycznego, który został opisany w [9] i jego implementacji komputerowej do optymalizacji potencjału obiektów logistycznych dla ustalonego wariantu ich ukształtowania. Model ten został opracowany m.in. na potrzeby optymalizacji statycznej potencjału systemów logistycznych. Sformułowane w tym zakresie zadanie optymalizacyjne umożliwia identyfikację, które spośród rozważanych rozwiązań technicznych powinno być zastosowane w danym systemie logistycznym, jak również jakie powinny być zaangażowane zasoby ludzkie oraz jakie powinno być obciążenie środków technicznych i pracowników. Rozważania przedstawiono na przykładzie obliczeniowym. Opisane w artykule podejście może być zastosowane również m.in. do optymalizacji potencjału kolejowych punktów eksploatacyjnych.
The article presents the possible application of the model of logistics system presented in [9] and its computer implementation to optimize the potential of given technological variant of logistics facility. The model was developed firstly to optimize static potential of the logistics systems. The logistics task solved by logistics facility was formulated to support decision about which technical variant of facility should be introduced into given logistics system. It also allows for identification of necessary human resources and wanted capacity of technical means of transport and staff. Considerations are supported by calculation example. The approach described in the article can also be used to optimize the potential of railway operating points.

Opis:
The matter of vehicle selection, optimizing the order quantity or optimizing logistics costs is extensively discussed in both Polish and foreign literature. In numerous publications, the necessity of decision making in transport or in other related areas with respect to total logistics costs is addressed. Nevertheless, problems arising from the effect of vehicle selection on Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), while fully taking into account transport costs, fails to be mentioned. This paper presents a decision-making model for transport selection taking into consideration total logistics costs and a newly obtained formula for the economic order quantity which separates transport costs into fixed costs, variable costs dependent on the driving distance and operation time, as well as other variable costs. Analyses pertaining to the impact of cargo value and volumetric weight on vehicle selection and on Economic Order Quantity are also conducted.

The modeling of logistic systems is a complex task. Specitic goals to be attained by the systems (mainly cargo stream form transformations) and the diversity of resources used within the systems are the main reasons. Therefore various models useful for the partial analyses of logistic systems have been devised. The author's approach to the formaI notation of a logistic system model proposed in this paper may be used as a basis to work out various classes of detailed (integrated) models. In addition to cargo stream time, form and location transformations, transformations of material and human resources used within logistic systems have also been taken into account in the proposed model.
Modelowanie systemów logistycznych stanowi złożone zagadnienie. Przyczyną tego jest specyfika zadań stawianych przed tymi systemami (głównie chodzi tu o transformacje strumieni ładunków ze względu na postać) oraz różnorodność zasobów, jakie mogą być w tych systemach wykorzystywane. Sprawia to, że konstruowane są różnorodne modele systemów logistycznych, które umożliwiają ich cząstkowe analizy. W artykule zaproponowano autorskie podejście do formalizacji zapisu modelu systemu logistycznego, który może być podstawą do opracowywania modeli szczegółowych (scalonych) różnych klas. W proponowanym modelu poza odwzorowaniem przekształceń strumieni ładunków ze względu na czas, postać oraz przestrzeń, w sposób szczegółowy przedstawiono odwzorowanie rzeczowych i ludzkich zasobów wykorzystywanych w systemach logistycznych.

W artykule przedstawiono propozycję modelowania podziału zadań przewozowych na rodzaje środków przewozowych przy uwzględnieniu ogólnej koncepcji kosztu generalizowanego podróży poszerzonej o wskaźniki oceny komfortu podróży. W opracowanym modelu wzięto pod uwagę podane w Niebieskiej Księdze (np. dla sektora kolejowego) jednostkowe wartości czasu zależne od motywacji podróży oraz rozkład dochodów w społeczeństwie. Opisany w artykule model był stosowany podczas modelowania podziału zadań przewozowych na rodzaje transportu oraz na rodzaje środków przewozowych w jednym z węzłów kolejowych.
The article presents a proposition of model of transport tasks allotment to different types of vehicles with regard to the concept of generalized cost of travel extended to include travelling comfort evaluation. The model takes into account unit times given in the Blue Paper (i.e. for railway sector) dependent on travel motivations and income distribution in society. The proposed model was applied to map distribution of transport tasks into different modes of transport and different types of vehicles in selected railway nodes.

W artykule przedstawiono ogólne podejście do oceny wariantów realizacji inwestycji infrastrukturalnych w transporcie kolejowym. Nie zawsze studia wykonalności umożliwiają wybór wariantu najlepszego, tym bardziej, że należy uwzględnić punkty widzenia wielu użytkowników infrastruktury, mających najczęściej sprzeczne interesy. Decydent powinien mieć zatem możliwość uwolnienia się od subiektywnych ocen uzyskiwanych za pomocą niektórych kryteriów branych pod uwagę przy ocenie poszczególnych wariantów inwestycyjnych.
A general approach to assessment of variants of infrastructure investments in the field of railway transport is presented in the paper. Feasibility studies not always make it possible to selected the best variant, the more so that, most frequently contradictory, requirements of different users must be taken into consideration. A decision maker should be able to free himself from subjective opinions reached on the ground of some criteria taken into account while assessing particular variants of an investment.

The article presents analysis of the road transport costs with regard to the types of vehicles. Discussed problem is important from the point of view of both the carrier and the company engaged in the organization of transport. The classification of costs in road transport significantly dependent on the types of used vehicle is presented. The factors affecting individual cost components with regard to the vehicles’ value, the permissible total weight, type of engine and fuel are defined. Selected components of the costs are enhanced by original analytic formulas with given examples of their values under fixed parameters of realized transport service. The participation of selected components of costs in total costs of transport and their impact on the costs of transportation are investigated. Considerations are illustrated by numerical example which examined road transport carried out in relation Mszczonów (PL) – Hamburg (DE) by one driver. Examined variants are based on vehicles meeting Euro standard III, IV, V and VI. As it was shown, the most cost-effective variant in discussed transport relation uses vehicles with highest emission standards.

This article presents a mathematical formulation of the optimization problem of loading unit formation taking into account the mass of packaging units. Proposed model can be applied to optimize the arrangement of non-uniform cubical loading units in loading spaces. The model ensures possibility of defining various dimensions, masses, resistances of particular packaging units and their vertical axis rotation. Within the constraints of formulating optimization problem, taking into account masses and resistances ensures that all packaging units will rest on a pallet or on other packaging units, and the surface of contact between loading units guarantees stability of units arranged in subsequent layers. The mathematical model was verified. The paper provides an appropriate calculation example.

The problem of loading unit formation is computationally complex in nature. This article presents a heuristic algorithm of forming unit loads, which can be applied to unit load arrangement on unit load devices. This method accounts for dimensional, mass and load-bearing strength of loading units and loading devices. Moreover, the rotation of packages about a 90° vertical axis has been made possible. In this algorithm, the bearing surface of each packing unit is entirely supported. This guarantees the stability of additional unit load layers. A sample calculation of the arrangement of 30-unit loads is presented in this article.

Companies compete not only on price of offered products and services, but also on the quality, including the time of delivery of the product or service implementation. Contemporary logistics solutions, ensuring high utilization mileage of means of transport, cause, that in transport complex transport cycles are increasingly common. In these cycles as opposed to a simple transport, cycles are realized many transport tasks. The paper presents the classification of the costs of implementing of transport processes in road transport. Taking into account the different cost sharing criteria was proposed their general classification. Were identified means of transport parameters that have the most significant impact on the level of costs in transport. Then, assuming that in one transport cycle can be realized many transport tasks were presented analytical dependences on the implementation costs of transport cycles, as well as the implementation costs of individual transport tasks. Presented in the article approach can be used to calculate costs of implementing full truck transport tasks performed both in complex and simple (special case) cycles. Types of costs in road transport, general classification of costs in the road transport, vehicle parameters affecting the level of direct costs of transport, principles for determining the cost of road transport carriage are presented in the paper.

W artykule omówiony został problem wielokryterialnego doboru multimodalnych technologii transportu produktów szybko psujących się. Przedstawiono najważniejsze zasady doboru technologii transportu, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wpływu podatności transportowej ładunków na dobór technologii. Zaprezentowano przykład zastosowania autorskich współczynników podatności transportowej przy doborze multimodalnych technologii transportu produktów szybko psujących się. Wyboru technologii transportu dokonano oceniając zdefiniowane warianty technologiczne ze względu na 19 kryteriów cząstkowych, w tym 18 kryteriów związanych z podatnością transportową ładunków szybko psujących się oraz ich bezpieczeństwem, a także 1 kryterium o interpretacji kosztów transportu.
Paper discusses the problem of multicriterial selection of multimodal transport technologies for perishable products. The most important principles of transport technology selection are presented, with particular emphasis on the influence of transportability of loads on the selection of technologies. An example of the application of the transport susceptibility coefficients is presented in the selection of multimodal transport technologies for perishable products. The selection of optimum transport technology was based on evaluation of variants with 19 partial criteria, including 18 criteria related to transportability of perishable cargoes and their safety, as well as 1 criterion related to the cost of transport.

W artykule przedstawiono wybrane niemieckie praktyki wykorzystywania modelowania ruchu dla potrzeb opracowywania planów zrównoważonego rozwoju publicznego transportu zbiorowego (zwanego potocznie planem transportowym). Modele ruchu wspierają pracę planisty na różnych etapach tworzenia planu transportowego. We wstępie wymieniono uwzględniane w planach transportowych kryteria oceny systemu transportu publicznego oraz pokazano schematycznie przykładową strukturę planu transportowego. W głównej części artykułu przestawiono praktyczne możliwości wykorzystania środowiska VISUM do modelowania ruchu. Pierwszym etapem modelowania ruchu jest wykonanie modelu sieci odwzorowującego sieć komunikacyjną badanego obszaru. Po naniesieniu na tę sieć rozkładów jazdy środków komunikacji publicznej w środowisku VISUM możliwe jest graficzne jej zobrazowanie oraz wyznaczenie charakterystyk systemu transportowego. W kolejnym etapie modelowania badany obszar dzielony jest na rejony komunikacyjne, do których przypisywane są pewne charakterystyki. W narzędziach informatycznych klasy VISUM charakterystyki te można przedstawiać graficznie, nadając rejonom różne kolory lub na wykresach. Ważną funkcjonalnością aplikacji do modelowania ruchu jest możliwość szybkiego wyznaczenia dostępności transportowej, która determinuje jakość oferty przewozowej. Prognoza potrzeb przewozowych wraz z rozkładem potoków ruchu na sieć transportową jest ostatnim etapem modelowania. Jakość wykonania wszystkich etapów modelowania ruchu warunkuje trafność decyzji planistycznych podejmowanych w zakresie rozwoju transportu publicznego, zatem podstawę planu transportowego może stanowić jedynie prawidłowo zbudowany i skalibrowany numeryczny model ruchu.
Selected German good practices used for the transport modeling during the preparation of public transport sustainable development plans (colloquially called public transport master plan) have been presented in the article. Transport models are supportive for planners at various stages of working out public transport master plans. In the introduction criterions of the evaluation of the public transport system have been listed and exemplary structure of master plan has been presented. Then practical possibilities of the VISUM software to the transport modeling have been shown. The first stage of modeling is working out a model of the transport network of the selected area projecting the transport network of the area. When the timetable of public transport is projected on this network, it is possible to depict it by the VISUM and to determine characteristics of the transport system. In the next phase of modeling, the area is divided into a transport zones connected with some characteristics. Tools of VISUM allow to present the zones with different colors or at the graphs. Possibility of quick determination of transport accessibility which is a significant factor of transport quality constitutes an important functionality of this software. Forecast of transport needs together with traffic flows’ schedule is the last phase of modeling. Quality of all phases of modeling determines accuracy of decisions concerning the spatial planning undertaken in the scope of public transport development. Only correctly planned and adequately balanced numerical transport model may be the basic of public transport master plan.

Rower to środek transportu, który coraz chętniej jest wykorzystywany do realizacji codziennych podróży w obszarach silnie zurbanizowanych. W artykule scharakteryzowano model ruchu rowerowego, który został przygotowany w ramach Warszawskiego Badania Ruchu 2015. Przedstawiono założenia, które przyjęto na etapie prac koncepcyjnych oraz opisano model w sposób ogólny oraz implementację w środowisku PTV VISUM. Szczegółowo scharakteryzowano model sieci oraz model popytu. Zaprezentowano problematykę kalibracji modelu. Uzyskane rezultaty są unikatowe na skalę krajową.
Bicycle is a mean of transport which is increasingly eager used for the realization of daily travel in heavily urbanized areas. The article describes model of bicycle traffic, which was prepared under the Warsaw Travel Household Survey 2015. We presented guidelines, which have been adopted at the conceptual stage and described model in general as well as its implementation in the environment of PTV VISUM. The network model and demand model has been characterized in detail. The issues of model calibration have been presented. Obtained results are unique on the national scale.

Rozwój społeczno-gospodarczy oraz wzajemna współpraca krajów implikuje rozwój potrzeb przewozowych, których realizacja dokonywana jest przez różne gałęzie transportu. Jest rzeczą oczywistą, że w podziale zadań przewozowych między poszczególne gałęzie transportu, czyli o strukturze systemu transportowego, szczególnie w warunkach gospodarki rynkowej, decydują przede wszystkim wyniki rachunku ekonomicznego prowadzonego przez użytkowników transportu. Poszukują oni w naturalny sposób optymalnych rozwiązań odnośnie zaspokojenia potrzeb przewozowych, w których cena za usługę transportową jest podstawowym, aczkolwiek nie jednym kryterium decyzyjnym.

Opis:
Designing of storage facilities is an interdisciplinary process that requires consideration of technical, economic, social or environmental issues. Storage facilities, as a part of supply chain are designed to provide customers availability of goods at a certain time, quantity and place. This involves the functions resulting therefrom, such as storage, sorting, picking, packing, etc. The efficiency of processes in the supply chains is strongly influenced by the location and shape of the storage facilities that are critical components. These issues are multi-threaded, and they are subject of an iterative approach in which information tools are playing a special role. One of such tool is the SIMMAG3D system. It is a system for modelling and visualization in 3D of warehouse facilities, which was built based on developed mathematical models, computational algorithms and functional dependencies necessary for the designing of storage facilities. It also takes into account the different types of warehouses and design methodologies as well as the location of warehouses in the logistic network. The article presents the elements of the SIMMAG3D system and characterizes its functional capabilities. It has been pointed out that one of the key elements of the system is the module for 3D visualization of storage facilities. In addition, an example of the visualizer operation on real data concerning one of the FMCG storage facility is provided.
