- An aim of the author is to describe the strategic interpretation in the field of national security adopted by President Vladimir Putin. The third term of the Russian leader is a continuation of the guidelines of vision, which have been appointed in 2000-2008. The common denominator is emphasis the large world power of Russia. However, the strategic objective is aspiration to stimulate polycentral international order. This effort is carried out both in the declarative and doctrinal sphere. Numerous expressions are an illustration of this logic that defies the peaceful coexistence by allowing also the use of force in pursuing their own interests. In practice “the Putin’s system” reviews of post-cold war European order. The reach and effectiveness of achieving this objective are visible in expanding sphere of influence, accompanied by hybrid action and development of military capability.
