We are aware of the vastness and complexity of the issue and we know that we can and we should explore it in great detail. It is interesting for us to know if pupils achieve better learning results in the first three areas of Niemierko taxonomy (remembering, understanding, specific trans-fer) when Multimedia Teaching Program (other than MTP) is used in teaching, and if pupils learn more actively in the classroom, where MTP is used in comparison to teaching applying the tradi-tional teaching methods.

An important part of the article is a brief description and use of selected methods of activation Technology in teaching the subject at primary school. The focus of interest was further empirical educational research, which also includes implementation of the teaching experiment and statistical analysis of the results in order to practically verify the successful use of selected methods of activation in real terms of primary school.

V poslednom období sa v našej spoločnosti prejavila potreba zvyšovania záujmu o technické vzdelávanie. Odrazom tejto skutočnosti sú i reformné kroky zo strany MŠVVaŠ SR smerujúce k zmene cieľov, vzdelávacích obsahov a k celkovej modernizácii vlastného vyučovacieho procesu. Nakoľko sa tieto zmeny obsahovo dotkli predmetov Pracovné vyučovanie a predmetu Technika zameraných na technické vzdelávanie mladých ľudí, je možné očakávať, že zmeny inovovaného ŠVP sa pozitívne odrazia i v obsahoch jednotlivých predmetov. Inovovaný ŠVP schválený MŠVVaŠ SR v roku 2015 posilňuje v plnej miere výučbu prírodovedných predmetov a kladie väčší dôraz na technické vzdelávanie žiakov základných škôl. Upravuje ciele, obsah i časovú dotáciu v predmete Technika. V snahe prispieť k modernizácii vzdelávania sme chceli zistiť úroveň motivačnej orientácie žiakov súvisiacej s jednotlivými overovanými aktivitami pomocou počítačom podporovaného experimentu.
Recently, our society has shown the need of increasing the interest in technical education. A reflection of this fact is also the reform action by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, aimed at changing the goals, educational contents and the overall modernization of the own teaching process. As these changes have affected the subject of Working Teaching and the subject of Technology for the Technical Education of Young People, it is to be expected, that changes in the National Educational Programme will be positively reflected in the contents of the individual subjects. Innovated National Educational Programme approved by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic in 2015 fully reinforces the teaching of natural science subjects and puts more emphasis on the technical education of elementary school pupils. It adjusts goals, content and timing in the subject Technique. In an effort to contribute to the modernization of education, we wanted to find the level of motivational orientation of pupils associated with individual verifiable activities using a computer-aided experiment.

V článku je pozornosť venovaná učiteľovi technických predmetov, pretože ani tie najpre-pracovanejšie programy výchovy a vzdelávania by nebolo možné realizovať bez tvorivého úsilia samotného učiteľa. Poukazujeme na aktuálne požiadavky jeho profesijných kompetencií v me-dzinárodnom a národnom kontexte i na rozdielnosť prístupov k ich kategorizácii. Významnou súčasťou rozvoja osobnosti učiteľa je sebareflexia, ktorá pomáha rozvíjať profesijné kompetencie. Na základe návrhu profesijného štandardu sme uskutočnili prieskum, ktorého výsledky prezentu-jeme textom, pre prehľadnosť i tabuľkou.
The article is devoted significant attention to the teacher technical subjects, because even the most sophisticated programs of education would not be possible without the efforts of creative teacher. This article aims to outline current demands in regard to the professional competencies of a teacher within national and international context. In addition, we would like to point out differences in attitudes concerning their categorization. Self-reflexion is a very important part of teacher´s development because it helps them to improve their professional competencies. We have done the survey based on the profes-sional standard. Its results are presented in the text as well as with enclosed charts.

Opis:
V praktickej časti článku sme navrhli a vytvorili inovatívnu metódu (metódu P&E) tak, aby sa ňou zabezpečilo zvýšenie didaktickej efektívnosti vyučovania. Takto spracované inovatívne metódy sme aplikovali v didaktickom systéme s použitím (aj) multimediálnej techniky, spolu so spracovanými materiálmi ich overili a porovnali v praxi. Očakávaním bolo zlepšenie výkonu v prvých troch oblastiach Niemierkovej taxonómie (zapamätania, porozumenia, špecifického transferu) a aktívneho učenia sa žiakov nižšieho stredného vzdelávania prostredníctvom aplikácie nových metód do obsahu vyučovacieho predmetu Technika.
In the practical part, we have designed and created innovative methods (e.g. the P & E method) to ensure the increase of efficiency of didactic teaching. These innovative methods were applied in the didactic system with a use of (not only) multimedia technology and along with used documentation were verified and compared in practice. Expectation was an improvement in performance in the first three areas of Niemierko taxonomy (remembering, understanding, and specific transfer) and active learning of students in lower secondary education through the application of new methods in content of teaching Technical education. In each chapter of the monograph, we introduced the main objective of long-term work to seek the improvement of the quality of tech-nical education.

This article aims to outline current demands in regard to the professional competencies of a teacher within national and international context. W artykule poruszana jest problematyka niezbędnych aktualnie kompetencji zawodowych nauczyciela w kontekście wymagań krajowych i zagranicznych. Ponadto zwracamy uwagę na różnice występujące w podstawach ich kategoryzacji na Słowacji i w Europie. Refleksja jest bardzo ważną częścią rozwoju nauczyciela, ponieważ pomaga mu doskonalić swoje kompetencje zawodowe. W opracowaniu przedstawione zostały wyniki badań ankietowych mających na celu określenie przygotowanie nauczycieli do realizacji postawionych przed nimi zadań zawodowych

Hlavným cieľom článku je analyticko-sumarizačné predstavenie nových vývojových trendov vyučovania a učenia sa (prostredníctvo inovačných metód), ktoré sa v plnej miere odvíjajú od nových cieľov vzdelávania. Autor dlhodobo pracuje s tvrdením, že niektoré „inovačné“ metódy (aktivizačné, interaktívne) nie sú ničím novým, iba sa s nimi naši žiaci v školskej praxi stretávajú veľmi málo alebo vôbec.
The main objective of the article is analytical and summarizing the introduction of new trends of teaching and learning (through innovative methods) to fully derive from new learning goals. Author of a long work, arguing that some „innovative” methods (activation, interactive) are nothing new, only with them our students in school practice encounter very little or not at all.

Artykuł opisuje sposoby i zakres korzystania przez polskich seniorów z technologii cyfrowych. Starsi ludzie w powszechnej opinii są uznawani za osoby wykluczone cyfrowo, a więc mające trudności z obsługą Internetu oraz sprzętu, który służy do łączenia się z nim. W artykule został przedstawiony wybiórczy przegląd badań, które zdają się przeczyć tezie o wykluczeniu cyfrowym seniorów. Coraz częściej są oni aktywnymi bywalcami wirtualnego świata, szereg czynności realizują przez Internet i doceniają korzyści, jakie on im przynosi. Seniorzy stanowią znaczącą grupę zarówno w społeczeństwie polskim, jak i w społeczeństwie całej Unii Europejskiej. Z biegiem lat ich odsetek w stosunku do ogółu społeczeństwa będzie się zwiększał. Aby zobrazować ten fakt, znaczną część artykułu zajmuje opis miejsca seniorów w strukturze demograficznej Polski wraz z prognozami na przyszłość w tym obszarze. Kolejno opisano korzystanie z technologii cyfrowych przez osoby starsze, zwłaszcza w odniesieniu do Internetu i urządzeń służących do jego obsługi. Przenalizowano możliwe powody niechęci osób starszych do korzystania z technologii IT oraz opisano przykładowe programy rządowe mające służyć aktywizacji seniorów w tym zakresie. Następnie przytoczono wyniki badań na temat korzystania przez ludzi starszych z bankowości internetowej oraz z handlu online, co pokazało, iż w przeciągu ostatniej dekady znacząco zmieniło się ich podejście do tych aktywności i stali się oni czynnymi uczestnikami rynku usług online. Zwrócono uwagę, jak ważną determinantą jest tu wiek, od którego daną osobę można uznać za seniora, gdyż wyniki badań znacznie różnią się w zależności od tego, czy analizie poddaje się osoby w wieku 60+ czy też w wieku 65+. W podsumowaniu uznano, iż współczesnych seniorów nie powinno się już określać jako wykluczonych cyfrowo, pomimo iż nadal taki stereotyp jest powszechny w społeczeństwie.
The article describes the ways and scope of using digital technologies by Polish seniors. Older people are commonly considered to be digitally excluded people, and thus have difficulties with using the Internet and the equipment that is used to connect to it. The article presents a selective review of research that seems to contradict the thesis on the digital exclusion of seniors. More and more often they are active visitors of the virtual world, they carry out a number of activities via the Internet and appreciate the benefits it brings them.Seniors constitute a significant group both in Polish society and in the society of the entire European Union. Over the years, their percentage in relation to the general population will increase. To illustrate this fact, a significant part of the article describes the place of seniors in the demographic structure of Poland along with forecasts for the future in this area. The use of digital technologies by older people is described successively, especially with regard to the Internet and its devices. Possible reasons for the reluctance of older people to use IT technologies were analysed and exemplary government programs aimed at activating seniors in this area were described. Next, the results of research on the use of internet banking and online commerce by older people were presented, which showed that over the last decade their approach to these activities has changed significantly and they have become active participants in the online services market. Attention was drawn to the importance of the determinant of the age from which a given person can be considered a senior, as the results of the research differ significantly depending on whether the analysis covers people aged 60+ or 65+.In conclusion, it was accepted that modern seniors should no longer be defined as digitally excluded, despite the fact that this stereotype is still common in society

Informačno-komunikačné technológie predstavujú množinu techník, postupov a prostriedkov, ktoré sa využívajú na sprostredkovanie informácií. Medzi najvýznamnejšie možno zaradiť jazyk, písmo, kníhtlač, telegraf, telefón, rozhlas, televíziu či počítač. Ich typickými predstaviteľmi sú komunikačné médiá. Termín médium vychádza z technologického aspektu komunikácie, v ktorej plní úlohu sprostredkovateľa, nosiča informácií. V článku je opísaný vplyv niektorých informačno-komunikačných technológií na vzdelávanie.
Information and communication technology is a set of techniques, procedures and instruments that are used for mediation information. Among the most important communication technologies can be included as language, writing, book printing, telegraph, telephone, radio, television and the computer. Communication media are a typical representative of ICT. Medium term based on the technological aspects of communication, which acts as an intermediary, the information carrier. The article describes the impacts of ICT on education.

We deal with the summary of essential characteristics of key competences, which are the fundamental elements of the State educational programs. The aim was to analyze an example of usage of a digital competence in Technology and to draw attention to its function as a tool to develop knowledge, skills and creativity of students. In the empiric part we adverted to a pedagogical experiment which proves that a computer significantly influences not only the efficiency of students during teaching but also their motivational effect during the lessons.
Zajęliśmy się podsumowaniem podstawowych cech kluczowych kompetencji, które są fundamentalnymi elementami państwowych programów edukacyjnych. Celem artykułu jest zbadanie przykładu wykorzystania kompetencji cyfrowych w Technologii i zwrócenie uwagi na jego funkcję jako narzędzia rozwijania wiedzy, umiejętności i kreatywności uczniów. W części empirycznej zamieściliśmy eksperyment pedagogiczny, który ma na celu udowodnienie, że komputer ma znaczący wpływ nie tylko na wydajność uczniów w nauce, ale także efekt motywacyjny podczas lekcji.

W artykule zostały przedstawione wyniki badań porównawczych dotyczących wybranych motywów podjęcia studiów przez absolwentów szkół średnich w Polsce i Słowacji na przykładzie Uniwersytetu Mateja Bela w Bańskiej Bystrzycy oraz Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego. W badaniach zostały wzięte pod uwagę różne aspekty, takie jak: zainteresowanie kierunkiem studiów, zaintere-sowania własne, jakości życia po ukończeniu studiów, otrzymanie dobrej pracy po studiach, przymus otoczenia oraz chęć zachowania młodości.
The aim of this research paper is to present results of selected motives given by secondary schools graduates who wished to pursuit further education at the University level on the example of the Matej Bela University in Banska Bystrica in Slovakia and the University of Rzeszów in Poland. Various aspects have been taken into considerations such as personal interests, interests in the field of study, the quality of life after graduation, being offered a good job after graduation, peer and environment pressure, and the will to ‘stay young’.

Článok pojednáva o problematike BOZP. Poukazuje na jej význam pre zamestnancov a zamestnávateľov, definuje hlavné dokumenty v tejto oblasti na Slovensku. Pozitívny ekonomický vplyv zlepšenia pracovných podmienok, špeciálne BOZP je spojené s vyššou produktivitou práce, efektivitou ale aj kvalitou práce a kvalitou poskytovaných služieb, čo môžu tvoriť len zdraví a motivovaní zamestnanci. Pretože veľa zamestnávateľov ako aj zamestnancov má veľmi nízke právne povedomie týkajúce sa BOZP je dôležité poskytnúť študentom a učiteľom kvalitný systém vzdelávania v tejto oblasti. Tento článok podáva informácie ako je výchova k BOZP implementovaná v základných a stredných školách a špecifikuje výchovu budúcich učiteľov k BOZP predovšetkým na UMB v Banskej Bystrici. Je veľmi dôležité mať dobré učebnice alebo učebné materiály (skriptá, monografie, e-learning) pre tento účel čo je aj obsahom tohto článku.
The article is concerned to the issue of Safety and Health Protection. It shows off its meaning according to the employers and employees, it defines main documents of the area in the Slovak Republic. The quality and level of safety at work and the employees´ health in a wider context presents culture, social and economical maturity of both – employers and the state. The positive economical influence of the improvement of working conditions, especially Safety and Health Protection, is conveyed with higher productivity, efficiency as well as the quality of work or quality of the services provided, which is created only by healthy and motivated employees. Since many employers as well as many employees have low legal awarness related to Safety and Health Protection, it is neccessary to provide both students and teachers in that area with high quality system of education and the article gives information such as education towards Safety and Health Protection which is implemented at primary and secondary schools and it specifies education of the next teachers to Safety and Health Protection more at the University of Matej Bel in Banská Bystrica. Itis very important to have good textbook or educative material for this purpose, various kinds of textbooks, monographies, internet web sites, e-learning, everything is briefly described in this article.
