Opis:: At the moment the problem of dealing with external environment is an important issue of effective corporate strategic management in the enterprise. One of the factors of company interaction with external environment is company stakeholders. At the moment the theoretical basis of stakeholder analysis is researched insufficiently. The current research pursued the two goals: to show on which stage of strategic management process stakeholder analysis influences corporate activity and to provide effective theoretical and practical ground for the selection of stakeholders. In order to achieve the first goal the main aspects of stakeholder theory are reviewed in the paper. The place of stakeholder analysis in strategic management process is identified. It is argued that the interests of the most influential stakeholders should be considered in corporate goals, strategy and the strategic decision making process due to the “strategic necessity”. The latter means that consideration of the stakeholder influence leads to the increase of corporate performance effectiveness and fi nancial stability. The second objective is achieved through the review of possible techniques that could be used for stakeholder selection. The most appropriate for such purpose techniques are identifi ed by the analysis of their advantageous and disadvantageous. As the result of the review it is proposed to conduct the stakeholder selection basing on application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The example of application of such method for stakeholder selection is presented in the article.

Opis:: The aim of the work is to study spatial concentration of knowledge resources and innovative activity of management entities to determine types of innovative industrial clusters in Ukraine and levers of government control of the innovative development of industrial potential. The foreign experience of innovative industrial clusters creating is analyzed and we define them as basic participants in the article. The model of innovative industrial clusters forming is worked out. The system of indicators of evaluation of the development level of intellectual and economic constituents is offered in order to distinguish innovative industrial clusters in Ukraine. The integral index of the intellectual constituent development is calculated and the ranking of administrative-territorial units is conducted by the mentioned index. The clustering of administrative-territorial units is conducted by the method of indistinct S-averages taking into account indexes of innovative activity, that characterize the state of the economic constituent development. The basic types of innovative industrial clusters are distinguished based on the comparison of levels of the intellectual and economic constituents development. It was defined that an important problem for Ukraine, that is necessary to overcome in the nearest perspective, is absence of the close collaboration among science and business structures. Creation of innovative clusters of the mixed type is considered as the modern basis of the industrial potential development that will assist to transfer innovations, to increase the competitiveness of spatial development and the national economy on the whole. The state, as the third participant of the cluster, should play the role of the regulator of this cooperation. The levers of the state stimulation of the industrial potential development on the innovative basis for certain types of innovative industrial clusters are offered in the article.

Opis:: The article considers the research of sustainable development model of national economy of Ukraine at the modern conditions. Determine the structural changes of national economy of Ukraine at the period of 2001 – 2012. During the period from 2001 to 2012 increase of the share of economic activities of the sphere of immaterial production, while reduction of the share of economic activities of the sphere of material production. The lack of progress in the development and implementation of new technologies prevented the improvement of industrial competitiveness, which partly led to a deep structural crisis and drop in production. The share of type of economic activity in the structure of the national economy does not affect its importance for the development of national economy. The poor energy efficiency of Ukraine poses a serious threat to its economic security that results in a deformed structure of production and consumption, in the usage of old technology of production of energy and in slow implementation of energy saving technologies. For sustainable development of Ukrainian national economy at unstable modern conditions must improving public-private partnership in the field of energy efficiency are substantiated.

Opis:: This paper describes the development of geoinformation technology for the spatial analysis of greenhouse gas emissions caused by fossil fuel combustion in the industry sector in Poland. Mathematical models and software have been elaborated, which make it possible to calculate the emissions and construct an appropriate geospatial database. The models are based on algorithms of proxy data disaggregation to the level of point- and area-type emission sources. These tools take into account the non-uniformity of anthropogenic activity and spatial distribution of emission sources. Numerical experiments were conducted and the results of spatial analysis are presented in the form of digital maps.

Opis:: Nowadays the emphasis on the social component in the general mainstream of innovation activity is one of the strongest grounds for the successful functioning and development of enterprises. The aim of this paper is to analyze the theoretical and applied foundations of social innovation activity (SIA) with special attention to the peculiarities of this phenomenon in terms of enterprise activity. The logical order of the paper is divided into two main parts. The first part is theoretical and is based on secondary research methods. It provides general conceptual points of the SIA of enterprises, including its concept, functions and a conceptual model of realization. The second part reflects empirical research, as a result of which the main aims that stimulate enterprises to conduct SIA are determined.
W dzisiejszych czasach nacisk na czynnik społeczny w ogólnym nurcie działalności innowacyjnej jest jedną z najsilniejszych podstaw pomyślnego funkcjonowania i rozwoju przedsiębiorstw. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest analiza teoretycznych i praktycznych podstaw społecznej działalności innowacyjnej (SIA) ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem specyfiki tego zjawiska w zakresie działalności przedsiębiorstwa. Część pierwsza, teoretyczna opiera się na metodach badań wtórnych. Przedstawia ogólne punkty koncepcyjne społecznej działalności innowacyjnej przedsiębiorstw, w tym jej koncepcję, funkcje oraz koncepcyjny model realizacji. Druga część odzwierciedla badania empiryczne, w wyniku, których określono główne cele, które stymulują przedsiębiorstwa do przeprowadzania społecznej działalności innowacyjnej.

Opis:: Purpose. Recently, foreign economic activity in Ukraine has gradually shifted towards the European Union (EU). The EU’s special interest in the potential of Ukraine’s transit transport lies in the geographical position of the country, which is located on the main routes of international freight traffic. The article aims to study the status and development opportunities in the field of transit freight transport of the Ukrainian railway joint-stock company (JSC Ukrzaliznytsya) within the framework of European integration. Methodology. The article presents the analysis of the activity of the JSC Ukrzaliznytsya in the field of transit freight transport for the period of 2005-2017 and outlines the strategic prospects for its development as a significant transit route considering the conditions of European integration. The methodology included theoretical and practical research using statistical methods; methods of comparative analysis; ABC analysis method; and taxonomic method. Results. The JSC Ukrzaliznytsya was analysed to determine the status of its activity in the field of transit freight transportation for 2005-2017. A structural-dynamic analysis was made to estimate cargo volumes transported by railway enterprises and related revenues. 18 types of cargo were identified using the ABC analysis method based on two indicators, namely, “volumes of transportation” and “revenues from cargo transit”. Also, taxonomic indicators of the level of system development were considered and revenues from cargo transit for the analysed period were estimated. Finally, recommendations were proposed regarding the development of a joint-stock company as a strategic cargo transporter under the conditions of European integration with Ukraine. Practical implications (if applicable). The results of the conducted research and performed calculations confirmed the need to refocus the management activity of the JSC Ukrzaliznytsya in the field of cargo transit towards strategically important cargoes, which have the largest share in the structure of financial results. This will enable the company to achieve its leading role as a strategic transit carrier of the European Union in the near future.

Opis:: The paper shows the approach for creating corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy in the context of industrial potential. The authors identified and analyzed social and economic indexes that eventually establish development of social and labor component of industrial potential. The contribution of the paper into the subject area is principles of assessment the development social and labor component of industrial potential. The essence of this approach is to highlight income and outcome indicators that allows consider industrial potential according to resource-result approach. In addition, it helped us to establish two main indexes of its development: level of the development of reproductive potential that shows current opportunities and level of the development of performed potential that shows indexes of efficient use of social and labor resources. To achieve relevant results of assessment, we provide the grading system, which is a prerequisite for making complex recommendations due to the level of indexes. The paper puts the recommendations regarding boosting social-labor component of industrial potential, which could be used while shaping CSR strategy of the business.
W artykule przedstawiono podejście do tworzenia społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu (CSR) w kontekście potencjału przemysłowego. Autorzy zidentyfikowali i przeanalizowali wskaźniki społeczne i ekonomiczne, które ostatecznie wpływają na rozwój społecznego i pracowniczego składnika potencjału przemysłowego. Wkładem autorów w omawianą dziedzinę są zasady oceny rozwoju społecznego i pracowniczego komponentu potencjału przemysłowego. Istotą tego podejścia jest zwrócenie uwagi na wskaźniki dochodów i wyników, które umożliwiają uwzględnienie potencjału przemysłowego zgodnie z podejściem opartym na zasobach. Pomogło to ustalić dwa główne wskaźniki jego rozwoju: poziom rozwoju potencjału reprodukcyjnego, który pokazuje aktualne możliwości oraz poziom rozwoju potencjału, który pokazuje wskaźniki efektywnego wykorzystania zasobów społecznych i pracy. Aby uzyskać odpowiednie wyniki oceny, zapewniono system oceniania, który jest warunkiem wstępnym do złożonych zaleceń ze względu na poziom indeksów. W artykule przedstawiono zalecenia dotyczące zwiększenia społecznego i pracowniczego komponentu potencjału przemysłowego, które można wykorzystać przy kształtowaniu strategii CSR firmy.

Opis:: The current state of the labor market in Ukraine is researched. A lot of processes are irregular and uncontrollable as a result of shadow or informal employment at the market nowadays. Different structural and cyclical influences caused high unemployment and a gap between labor market needs and labor force qualification and education. The impact of the political crisis on employment has been related to a large and growing internal flow of people leaving the areas of warfare and looking for new jobs. The migration of the working age population to other countries has accelerated over the last years. Thus it is important to increase the economic activity of young people by reduction of imbalance between supply and demand for labor, reduction of shadow employment, labor migration of young people. The problems and difficulties for university graduates in the job search and difficulties for employers related to hiring educated young people in the conditions of considerable supply of labor in the Ukrainian labor market are analyzed. The gaps of labor demand and supply are considered from two directions: graduates’ view – challenge of finding jobs for young people; employer’s view – complexity of the employee selection with a high employment potential and an adequate psychological portrait. The measures for preventing and solving the mentioned problems are proposed, among them innovative ways of interviewing and an algorithm for employers for finding highly skilled workers. It is stressed that the problems of employment in Ukraine can not be addressed in isolation from the global processes on the world labor market. The Association between Ukraine and the EU may have a significantl influence, increasing the number of migrant workers and mobility.
