Opis:: The aim of this paper is to present the probabilistic modelbuilding heuristics which is a modification of an evolutionary algorithm. the Probabilistic-Based Incremental Learning (PBIL) and the compact Genetic Algorithm (cGA) is presented as a example of the probabilistic model building algorithms dedicated to the binary problems. Both heuristics are tested on three functions that allow to investigate the advantages, disadvantages and limitations of methods under consideration.
Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie heurystyk wieloagentowych wykorzystujących model probabilistyczny. W artykule omówiono dwie metody: the Probabilistic-Based Incremental Learning (PBIL) oraz the compact Genetic Algorithm (cGA), będące przykładami heurystyk z modelem probabilistycznym. Obie metody są przeznaczone do rozwiązywania problemów binarnych. W ramach pracy metody te testowano na trzech funkcjach zdefiniowanych w przestrzeni ciągów binarnych. Testy miały zbadać zalety, wady oraz ograniczenia obu prezentowanych heurystyk populacyjnych.

Opis:: Force Technology has been working intensively with trim optimisation tests for almost last 10 years. Focus has primarily been put on the possible power savings and exhaust gases reduction. This paper describes the trim optimisation process for a large cargo vessel. The physics behind changed propulsive power is described and the analyses in order to elaborate the optimum trimmed conditions are presented. Different methods for prediction of required power in trimmed conditions are presented and results are compared against each other. The methods with their advantages and disadvantages are discussed. On the basis of power prediction, a trim guidance with dedicated SeaTrim® software for ship master is made and presented.

Opis:: A set of oxygen deficient powder and granular samples of YBa$\text{}_{2}$Cu$\text{}_{3}$O$\text{}_{7-δ}$ ceramics was studied by means of thermogravimetric and magnetically modulated microwave absorption methods. Especially the last method has turned out to be a powerful method, which was used to determine the dependence of critical temperature T$\text{}_{c}$ on the oxygen parameterδ. Using these methods it has been shown that the removing of oxygen evokes the inhomogeneous oxygen distribution in the samples and a change in carrier concentration till to the loss of superconducting properties. A superconducting phase with T$\text{}_{c}$=60 K, which occurs in oxygen deficient YBa$\text{}_{2}$Cu$\text{}_{3}$O$\text{}_{7-δ}$ sample, is an unstable phase.

Opis:: Copper indium gallium diselenide (CIGS) becomes more significant for solar cell applications as an alternative to silicon. The quality of the layer has a critical impact on the final efficiency of the solar cell. An influence of the post-deposition millisecond range flash lamp annealing on the optical and microstructural properties of the CIGS films was investigated. Based on the Raman and photoluminescence spectroscopy, it is shown that flash lamp annealing reduces the defect concentration and leads to an increase of the photoluminescence intensity by a factor of six compared to the nonannealed sample. Moreover, after flash lamp annealing the degradation of the photoluminescence is significantly suppressed and the absolute absorption in the wavelength range of 200-1200 nm increases by 25%.
