Opis:: Artykuł „Wykluczenie cyfrowe w Polsce” opisuje kwestie związane ze społecznymi aspektami technologii komunikacyjno-informacyjnych (ICT), a przede wszystkim ma na celu przybliżenie poszczególnych problemów związanych ze zjawiskiem zawartym w tytule. W artykule przed-stawione zostały wybrane aspekty dotyczące problemu podziałów cyfrowych w Polsce. Zdefinio-wany został problem wykluczenia cyfrowego, a także w oparciu o przytaczane dane opisane zostały poszczególne kwestie z nim związane. Artykuł przedstawia pokrótce przyczyny, oraz konsekwencje wykluczenia cyfrowego. Na-stępnie pokazuje skalę tego zjawiska w Polsce w oparciu o dane zaczerpnięte z różnych źródeł. Zaprezentowane zostały wyniki badań m.in. Centrum Badania Opinii Społecznej (CBOS), a także Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego (pochodzące z raportu „Diagnoza społeczna” 2011). Dane te ukazują skalę wykluczenia cyfrowego i przedstawiają ten problem z uwzględnieniem różnych czynników struktury społeczno-demograficznej. Wyróżnione zostały m.in. wiek, wykształcenie, zamożność, płeć badanych. Uwzględniona została również sytuacja osób niepełnosprawnych. W artykule opisane zostały również wybrane sposoby przeciwdziałania zjawisku wykluczenia cyfro-wego w Polsce.
The paper ”Digital divide in Poland” describes the issues relating to the importance of infor-mation and communication technologies (ICTs) and their role in society. The paper presents selected aspects of the digital divide problem in Poland. Shows data from various sources (such a CBOS, GUS) describing the situation of the digital divide in Poland. This article is intended to draw selected issues related to the digital divide problem in Poland and present the current state of research in this area. Firstly, describes the causes and effects of the digital divide. It also presents briefly scale of this phenomenon in Poland. Secondly, focuses on the specific socio-demographic factors such as age, education or social status, and shows their relationship to the level of the digital divide in Poland. It also presents the situation of persons with disabilities in the matter. The paper describe briefly options for countering the digital exclusion, gives concrete examples.

Opis:: W niniejszym artykule zaprezentowane zostały wybrane aspekty indywidualnego zarządzania prywatnością w serwisach społecznościowych w odniesieniu do procesów zachodzących w społeczeństwie informacyjnym. W części pierwszej zdefinowano pojęcie indywidualnego zarządzania informacją. Dokonano przeglądu wybranych badań opisujących postawy wobec ochrony prywatności. Następnie opisane zostały wybrane aspekty dotyczące problemu zarządzania prywatnością w serwisach społecznościowych na przykładzie Facebooka.
The article presents some aspects of Personal Privacy Management in social network sites. It has been described in relation to processes taking place in the Information Society. First part consist of the Personal Information Management concept description. Second part shows the role of Facebook in the information society and highlights selected privacy concerns, which are connected with this service.

Opis:: This paper focuses on the social network sites (SNSs), especially on Facebook, and their role in people’s daily life. It focuses on people who are statistically not at risk of the digital exclusion (young and still educating). Here are presented conclusions of the author's own research focusing on the role of Facebook in daily life of a group of its users. Research was done as an experiment. The purpose of the study was to find out if students, who use Facebook, could stop to do it temporarily. Facebook is here regarded as a main source of various kinds of information, both private and public. In this article the author tries to prove that Facebook is one of the primary channels of information flow.

Opis:: Celem artykułu jest wskazanie wybranych cech komunikatów wysyłanych w donacjach internetowych w czasie transmisji emitowanych na żywo w serwisie YouTube. Materiał badawczy stanowiło 10 livestreamów o tematyce growej, emitowanych w roku 2020 przez jednego streamera. Wykorzystano metodę jakościowej analizy treści. Autorki przeanalizowały ponad 800 wiadomości, wskazując skalę występowania takich form komunikacyjnych, jak: powitanie, pożegnanie, pozdrowienie czy slogan społeczności. Analiza objęła również reakcje ze strony streamera.
The aim of the article is to indicate selected features of messages sent in online donations during live broadcasts on YouTube. The research material consisted of 10 gaming livestreams broadcasted in 2020 by one streamer. The authors analyzed over 800 messages using the method of qualitative content analysis, indicating the scale of the occurrence of communication forms such as salute, farewell, greeting or community’s catchword. In addition, the analysis also included streamer’s reactions.

Opis:: The paper offers a look at Facebook social service from the point of view of information management in an information society. The article presents a description and comparison of two sets of focus group research. The study was carried out among students in an academic center in a small city (population of 120 thousand), and in an academic center in a big city (population exceeding 750 thousand). The research was aimed at exploring issues related to using Facebook, in particular including the issue of motives related to creating a profile on the service and using it in everyday life. The research has revealed three categories related to Facebook use: a need for security in the scope of access to information, a need to possess a tool facilitating management of information-communication processes, as well as respondent’s dislike for Facebook. In the final part, the paper presents conclusions, but also limitations of the described research.
