The author discuses the attempts of helminthiasis mass treatment under field conditions, among adult people periodically submitted to obligatory examinations for Bacterium typhosum. Füllenborn's. Rivas' and Faust's methods as well as decantation and NIH tests were applied and the results obtained made it necessary to repeat the examinations at least 3 times more (table I). As to the frequency of invasion no distinct differences in particular age groups were found (table II). On the whole, among 1451 persons examined helminthiasis was found in 45.7% (table III). The highest percentage showed the personnel from schools, infant schools and creches, the lowest - persons employed at hairdressers and wine- & liqueur factories. Attention should also be paid to 6.4% Taenia saginata found in workers of butchery establishments. 6 months after the treatment control exam'iations of 817 persons were carried out (according to the schemes showed in table IV). In spite of unfavourable conditions (uncontrolled home treatment) a decrease of the general percentage by 17.7% was obtained.

New distribution data for 183 species, one subspecies and four varieties of bryophytes in the Świętokrzyski National Park are provided. The most interesting species (rare, protected and new for the area) are Anastrophyllum hellerianum, Buxbaumia viridis, Cephalozia catenulata, Dicranum viride, Lophozia ascendens, Mannia fragrans and Tetraplodon angustatus.

In this article titled “The Time of the End of Times in the Apocalyptical Literature” the author presents the study about the biblical vision of the final time which concern two domains christological and ecclesiological. This patristic study pertains to several subjects set forth in section and sub-section titles, such as: Christ as the Eternal Day of God, the Parousia as the Second Coming of Christ, the Day of Judgement, the Great Tribulation or Persecution (Mt 24: 21; Mk 13: 19; por. Dan 12: 1), “the great distress” (Rev 7: 14), the time of Pagans persisting for forty two months, the fall of Jerusalem (Mt 24: 1-3; Mk 13: 1-4; Lk 21: 5-7. 20), “abomination of desolation” (Dan 9: 27; 11: 3; 12: 11), Gog and Magog from the vision of Ezekiel (Ezek 38-39) and Apokalypse (Rev 20: 8), a great apostasy will be a prelude to the Second Coming of Christ, “a hundred and forty-four thousand who had his [Lamb’s] name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads [and] who had been ransomed from the earth” (Rev 14: 1. 3), Antichrist (1Jn 2: 18. 22; 4: 2-3; 2Jn 7) and his time three and a half years (Rev 11: 9. 11) or forty-two months (Rev 11: 2; 13: 5). The Antichrist refers to the ruling spirit of error, the enemy of the Gospel, and the opponent of Christ who will precede His Second Coming and the end of the world. He is the incarnation of wickedness, pride, and hostility toward Christ’s redemptive work. This section delves into the number 666 (Rev 13: 18; 15: 2), false prophets (2Pet 2: 1), false teachers (2Pet 2: 1). In the biblical apocalyptic literature we can find a few visions of the cosmic catastrophes and cataclysms such as “earthquakes” (Mt 24: 7; Mk 13: 8), “famines” (Mt 24: 7; Mk 13: 8). In this study, appeared the theory of Millenarianism (from Latin mille) or chiliasm (from Greek c…lioi) based on a literal interpretation of Apocalypse (Rev 20: 2-7) which interpretation teaches that the visible personal rule of Christ on earth will last for a duration of a thousand years before the end of the world. Two themes are given special study in this article. First is the distinction of the interpretation of time. Second, is the interpretation of the prophetic announcements and eschatological visions from the Bible, and the potential influence of the ancient apocalyptic stories and writings in the redaction of the Bible. As to the first theme, the application of Greek distinction of concept of time as duration (crÒnoj) from time as fulfilment and accomplishment (kairÒj) to the Hebrew conception of time is problematic. Substantial biblical concept of time is an event which pertains to time, otherwise as time having specific event, more then a time extending indefinite time. In the theological perspective, perception of time is therefore an action of God. From the very beginning to the end of Biblical History, time is the means of God’s deeds of salvation. Thence for the biblical author, the historic-redemptive (salvation) concept of the world appears before his metaphysical conception. This concept is also readily apparent in the description of the seven days from the ancient Semitic cosmogony well-known from the Book of Genesis. This topic contains an important christological and messianic aspect. The history of the world become conditioned and dependant, defined and designated by the existence of the Word of God, Creation and Incarnation by the birth of the Son of God, fulfilment of time by the second coming of the Son of Man siting at the right hand of God (Mk 16: 19; Heb 12: 2), the end of time by the judgement of God. One can speak of christological concept of time and also of christological concept of the world. The discussion of the second theme revolves around the interpretation of the Fathers of the Church on apocalyptic writings. This analysis of the meaning of the apocalyptical symbols is presented according to the interpretation of the Fathers of the Church, starting with all commentary of the Book of Revelation written from the beginning to the 12th Century. Outstanding among Greek and Latin writers from the ancient time through the Middle Ages are: Papias of Hierapolis, Justin Martyr, Hippolytus, Irenaeus of Lyon, Origen, Tertullien, Lactance, Eusebius of Caesarea, Didymus of Alexandria, Victorinus of Pettau, Gregory of Nyssa, Jerome, Augustine of Hippo, Quodvultdeus, Primasius, Caesarius of Arles, Gregory the Great, Isidore of Seville, Raban Maur, Bede the Venerable, Ambroise Autpert, Beatus of Liébana, Rupert of Deutz, Joachim of Fiore, Richard of Saint-Victor. It is well known that, between the years 200 B.C. and 150 A.D., prophetic writings appeared in certain Jewish or Christian circles. These prophetic writings were called Apocalypses. After a careful analysis, this article hypothesizes that the Bible is influenced by this ancient apocalyptic literature. The Biblical Apocalyptic Literature was dependent upon formularies and expressions used in the ancient Apocalyptic Literature. Some symbols or apocalyptic numbers were accepted from the ancient Literature, sometimes diminishing and sometimes enlarging their meaning. On the basis of formularies and symbols from Biblical Apocalyptic, the Fathers of the Church built their own historical-theological interpretation of eschatological events. In the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, there are prophetic announcements and eschatological visions. The New Testament is a repetition of those visions and those announcements made in the Old Testament. The Book of Revelation is the conclusion of those announcements and the accomplishment of those visions. An example of this use of the apocalyptical symbols in the theological and historical contexts by the Christian writers is found in the interpretation of the vision of Gog and Magog. The vision of the Gog and Magog was usually interpreted in the historical context. They were identified with Goths, Barbaric people who invaded and conquered most of the Roman Empire in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th centuries. Yet this epic figure is reinterpreted with the turn of each new century. In the new historical context, the writers give a new interpretation, but the theology of these symbols remains the same.

Autorzy przeprowadzili badania nad wykorzystaniem odpadowych mikrosfer do produkcji sztywnych pianek poliuretanowo-poliizocyjanurowych. Mikrosfery glinokrzemianowe powstają jako uboczny produkt procesu spalania węgla kamiennego w klasycznych paleniskach w elektrowniach lub elektrociepłowniach. Stanowią frakcję ziarnową popiołów lotnych. Zbadano wpływ stosunku ilościowego mikrosfer na właściwości syntezowanych sztywnych pianek PUR-PIR, zmieniając ich zawartość od 20% wag 25% wag.. Stosowanie mikrosfer glinokrzemianowych jako napełniacza w produkcji pianek PUR-PIR powoduje obniżenie ich kruchości, palności i temperatury mięknienia. Natomiast zwiększa gęstość i wytrzymałość pianek na ściskanie w porównaniu z pianką odniesienia.
The authors conducted a study on the use of waste microspheres for the production of rigid polyurethane-polyisocyanurate foams. Aluminosilicate microspheres are formed as the by-product of coal combustion in classical power station furnaces. They constitute a grain fraction of fly ashes. An effect of microspheres ratio (their content changed from 20 to 25% w/w) on properties of synthesized rigid PUR-PIR foams was tested. The use of aluminosilicate microspheres as a filler in the production of PUR-PIR foams reduces their fragility, flammability and softening point. However, it increases the density and compressive strength of foams in comparison to the reference foam.

Opis:
New distribution data for 171 bryophyte taxa in the Roztocze National Park are provided. Among them there are 43 species protected by law in Poland, including 20 strictly protected species, as well as 13 species threatened in Poland. The research revealed 36 species (5 liverworts and 31 mosses) new for the region. Noteworthy is the occurrence of 19 mountain species and 10 bryophytes thought to be relicts of old-growth forests what confirms the specificity of nature of the Roztocze region. The most valuable and interesting finds are: mosses Campylophyllopsis sommerfeltii (Myrin) Ochyra, Dicranum viride (Sull. & Lesq.) Lindb., Buxbaumia viridis (Moug. ex Lam. & DC.) Brid. ex Moug. & Nestl. as well as liverworts Calypogeia suecica (Arnell et J. Perss.) Müll. Frib. and Cephalozia catenulata (Huebener) Lindb. A brief characterisations of these species are presented.

This paper presents the macromorphological and micromorphological characteristics of wood barley recorded in the Wielkopolska Lowland. On the basis of the collection of preserved specimens, the micromorphological features were examined under a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to assess their taxonomic value. The principal features include the size and shape of cork/silica cells, crown cells, prickles, macro-hairs and stomata as well as the morphology of long cells in vegetative and reproductive organs.

Otrzymano nowe materiały poliuretanowe modyfikowane dodatkiem makuchów rzepakowych — produktu ubocznego przemysłu olejarskiego. Z udziałem 5—25 % mas. rozdrobnionych makuchów wytworzono sztywne pianki poli(uretanowo-izocyjanurowe) (PUR-PIR). Zbadano ich właściwości mechaniczne, termiczne oraz palność. Uzyskane pianki charakteryzują się mniejszą kruchością, palnością i mniejszym współczynnikiem przewodzenia ciepła niż pianka referencyjna, wytworzona wg tej samej receptury, ale bez bionapełniacza.
New polyurethane materials modified with rapeseed cake, a by-product of oil industry, were prepared. By using 5—25 wt. % grounded cake as additive, rigid polyurethane-polyisocyanurate (PUR-PIR) foams were produced. The mechanical, thermal and flammable properties of the foams were investigated. The obtained foams were characterized by a lower brittleness, flammability and heat conductivity coefficient than the reference foam produced using the same procedure but without addition of the biofiller.

Otrzymano nowe materiały poliuretanowe w postaci sztywnych pianek poliuretanowo-poliizocyjanurowych (PUR-PIR) modyfikowanych dodatkiem zmielonej kory dębu szypułkowego. Zawartość bionapełniacza wynosiła 0–25 % mas. w stosunku do sumy mas poliolu i poliizocyjanianu. Zbadano właściwości termiczne, mechaniczne, odporność na starzenie oraz palność wytworzonych pianek. Modyfikowane dodatkiem kory dębu pianki PUR-PIR wykazywały mniejsze niż pianka wzorcowa (niemodyfikowana) wartości kruchości, wytrzymałości na ściskanie, chłonności wody i nasiąkliwości oraz wartości gęstości pozornej, palności i odporności na starzenie zbliżone do wartości odpowiadających piance wzorcowej.
New polyurethane materials – rigid polyurethane-polyisocyanurate (PUR-PIR) foams modified with ground pedunculate oak bark were obtained. The amount of added bio-filler varied from 0 to 25 % of the sum of polyol and polyisocyanate masses. The thermal, mechanical, aging and flammable properties of the produced foams were investigated. The PUR-PIR foams modified by addition of oak bark were characterized by lower brittleness, compressive strength and water absorption than those of reference foam. The apparent density, aging properties and flammability of the modified foams were similar to those of reference foam.

Przeprowadzono badania nad wykorzystaniem odpadowego polilaktydu do produkcji sztywnych pianek poliuretanowo-poliizocyjanurowych. Polilaktyd pozyskano jako produkt uboczny druku 3D. Zbadano wpływ stosunku ilościowego mikrosfer na właściwości syntezowanych sztywnych pianek PUR-PIR, zmieniając ich zawartość od 0% mas. do 10% mas. Stosowanie odpadowego polilaktydu jako napełniacza w produkcji pianek PUR-PIR obniża ich kruchość, palność i temperaturę mięknienia. Zwiększa natomiast gęstość i wytrzymałość pianek na ściskanie w porównaniu z pianką odniesienia.
Researches on the use of waste polylactide in the production of rigid polyurethane-polyisocyanurate foams were performed. Polylactide was obtained as byproduct of 3D printing. The effect of microspheres content (from 0% to 10wt%) on the properties of synthesized rigid PUR-PIR foams was tested. The use of polylactide as a filler in the production of PUR-PIR foams reduces their brittleness, flammability and softening temperature. However, it increases density and compressive strength of foams compared to the reference foam.

W artykule zaprezentowano koncepcje wdrożenia systemu pozyskiwania informacji o warunkach ruchu drogowego w Warszawie w dzielnicy Ochota oraz przedstawiono możliwości wykorzystania takiego systemu do poprawy płynności i bezpieczeństwa ruchu oraz efektywności transportu drogowego. W pracy omówiono sytuacje niebezpieczne w ruchu drogowym w Warszawie, scharakteryzowano teoretyczne aspekty systemów pozyskiwania informacji o warunkach ruchu drogowego. Na tej podstawie zaproponowano implementację systemu na warszawskiej Ochocie, którego głównymi założeniami są zwiększenie bezpieczeństwa oraz efektywności procesu transportowego w objętym obszarze.
The article presents the concepts of implementation of the information system on traffic conditions in Warsaw in the Ochota district and presents the possibilities of using such a system to improve traffic safety and efficiency of road transport. The paper discusses the dangers of road traffic in Warsaw, the theoretical aspects of traffic information systems are characterized. On this basis, it was proposed to implement the system in Ochota district, whose main assumptions are to increase the safety and efficiency of the transport process in the covered area.

Opis:
Modern, highly concurrent, and large-scale systems require new methods for design, testing, and monitoring. Their dynamics and scale require real-time tools that provide a holistic view of the whole system and the ability to show a more detailed view when needed. Such tools can help identify the causes of unwanted states, which is hardly possible with a static analysis or metrics-based approach. In this paper, a new tool for the analysis of distributed systems in Erlang is presented. It provides the real-time monitoring of system dynamics on diferent levels of abstraction. The tool has been used for analyzing a large-scale urban trafic simulation system running on a cluster of 20 computing nodes.

Opis:
A new bio-polyol based on white mustard oil (Synapis alba) and 2,2’-mercaptodiethanol (2,2’-MDE) was obtained. The synthesis was carried out by two-step method. In the first stage, the double bond of the unsaturated fatty acid residues was oxidized, and in the second step the epoxy rings were opened with 2,2’-MDE. The properties of the obtained bio-polyol for application as raw material in polyurethane-polyisocyanurate foams (PUR-PIR) - hydroxyl number, acid number, density, viscosity, pH, water content, FTIR, 1 H NMR and 13 :C NMR were investigated. Based on the obtained results, foaming formulations containing 0 to 0.6 R of the new bio-polyol were prepared. Signifi cant impact of bio-polyol on apparent density, compressive strength, brittleness, flammability, water absorption and thermal conductivity of polyurethane composites were noted. Modified foam had better functional properties than reference foam e.g. lower brittleness, better thermal insulation properties and better fire resistance.

Opracowano nowy surowiec poliolowy na bazie surowego oleju z gorczycy białej oraz 2,2’-tiodietanolu (schemat A i B).Oceniane: liczba hydroksylowa, liczba kwasowa, zawartość wody, gęstość i lepkość wskazują, że otrzymany biopoliol może być alternatywą dla petrochemicznych surowców poliolowych. Analiza spektroskopowa (FT-IR, 1H NMR i 13C NMR) potwierdziła oczekiwaną budowę chemiczną wytworzonego poliolu, w tym obecność w łańcuchach aktywnych grup OH.
New bio-polyol raw material based on white mustard seed oil and 2,2’-thiodiethanol has been developed (Scheme A and B). The hydroxyl number, acid value, water content, density and viscosity of the obtained bio-polyol were determined and the results indicate its applicability as an alternative to petrochemical polyols. The results of spectroscopic analysis (FT-IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR) confirmed the expected chemical structure of the bio-polyol as well as the presence of active OH groups in the polyol chain.

Opis:
A poly(hydroxybutyl citrate) p(HBC) was obtained. The product compound produced in the solution during esterification, was added to rigid polyurethane-polyisocyanurate foams (PUR-PIR). The amount of petrochemical polyol in the foams was decreased in favor of the p(HBC) from 0.1 to 0.5 equivalent. The foams were foamed in two ways: with distilled water (W foams) and with Solkane 365/227 (S foams). The examination results of both foam series were compared. They showed that the foams foamed with water have higher softening temperature than the foams foamed with solkane. The retention values for both foam series are around 91–95%, and water absorption in the range of 0.7–3.2%. The anisotropy coefficient did not exceed 1.08 (the lowest value being 1.01).
