Poziom niezawodności szlifierki CNC (sterowanej numerycznie) zazwyczaj ocenia się na podstawie danych o uszkodzeniach liczonych w laboratorium lub w terenie, co wymaga zmontowania szlifierki i jest metodą oceny post-factum. Aby umożliwić ocenę poziomu niezawodności szlifierki CNC na etapie projektowania, w niniejszym artykule zaproponowano metodę oceny niezawodności systemu oraz odpowiedni algorytm wykorzystujące dane dotyczące niezawodności podsystemów. Model ten wymaga klasyfikacji podsystemów, badań niezawodności, dopasowania funkcji rozkładu, oceny parametrów oraz oceny niezawodności. Wyniki obliczeń wykazały, że omawiana metoda sprawdza się i jest dokładna w porównaniu z metodą tradycyjną. Przedstawiona metoda stanowi wkład do procesu projektowania niezawodności szlifierki CNC i znajduje odniesienie do innych produktów mechatronicznych.
The reliability level of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) grinder is usually assessed by fault data counted in laboratory or in field, which needs the grinder to be assembled and it is one afterwards estimation method. To evaluate the reliability level of CNC grinder in design phrase, one system reliability assessment method and algorithm was put forward by subsystem’s reliability in this article, which needs subsystem classification, reliability test, distribution function fitting, parameters estimation and reliability assessment. The calculation result showed that the method was feasible and accurate compared with the traditional way. The method is one contribution to reliability design for CNC grinder and is one reference to other mechatronic products.

Opis:
Primary parametric resonance and stability of an axially accelerating and current-carrying beam subjected to static loads in magnetic field are investigated. The nonlinear magneto-elastic vibration equation is derived. The approximate solution of the static problem and the disturbance deferential equation of the beam with two sides simply supported are obtained. The frequency-response equation of primary parametric resonance is further achieved by a multi-scale method. According to stability conditions, the stability of the steady-state solution is also discussed. By numerical examples, the amplitude versus different parameter curves and the bifurcation diagrams of the amplitude are acquired. The effects of magnetic induction intensity, axial speed, detuning parameter and static loads on nonlinear vibration characteristics are also analyzed.

The macroscopic and microscopic morphologies and indigo and indirubin concentration of the traditional Chinese medicine herbs Isatis indigotica Fort., Polygonum tinctorium Ait., and Baphicacanthus cusia (Nees) Bremek, all commonly known as “daqingye”, were determined and compared. The morphological analyses indicated that I. indigotica has leaves with winged petioles and no glandular hairs or crystals, P. tinctorium has leaves with membranous ocrea and clusters of calcium oxalate, and B. cusia has palisade cells in the mesophyll running over the main vein and single cells containing calcium carbonate crystals. Indigo and indirubin are chemical constituents that have been previously isolated from daqingye and were selected in this study as identification markers for high-performance liquid chromatography analysis due to their pharmacological activities. The chromatographic results showed that indigo and indirubin concentration varied significantly among the three species: high concentration of both indigo and indirubin were observed in I. indigotica, the highest concentration among the three daqingye plants was found in P. tinctorium but with low levels of indirubin, and the concentration of indigo and indirubin was quite low in B. cusia. In summary, three different species commonly known as daqingye were accurately distinguished by morphological observation, internal leaf anatomy analysis, and chromatographic analysis.

Opis:
Turbofan engines will gradually degrade until failure occurs or life ends if without maintenance. Reliable degradation assessment and remaining useful life (RUL) estimation make sense on both aviation safety and rational maintenance decisions. This paper proposes a data-driven prognostic method on the premise of run-to-failure (RtF) data which are multivariate sensory data collected from the engines operating from normal to failure. After necessary pre-processing to the data, clustering analysis is executed to generate the clusters which represent the multi-states of the degradation process. The failure state cluster is extracted, and then the distance between the pre-processed data and the cluster is calculated. Therefore, one-dimensional time series are generated and defined as the health indices. Afterwards the degradation models are built based on the health indices. Finally, the RUL of a testing unit can be estimated by similarity analysis with the models. Hierarchical clustering (HC) and relevance vector machine (RVM) are the main algorithms employed in this paper. To validate the proposition, a case study is performed on turbofan engines data from Prognostics Center of Excellence (PCoE) at NASA Ames Research Center, and sufficient comparisons were given.
Silniki turbowentylatorowe niepoddane konserwacji ulegają stopniowej degradacji aż do czasu wystąpienia uszkodzenia lub zakończenia cyklu życia. Rzetelna ocena degradacji oraz pozostałego okresu użytkowania (RUL) mają wpływ zarówno na bezpieczeństwo maszyn lotniczych jak i racjonalne podejmowanie decyzji dotyczących utrzymania ruchu. W artykule zaproponowano sterowaną danymi metodę prognostyczną opartą na danych o pracy do czasu uszkodzenia (run-to failure, RTF), które są wielowymiarowymi danymi sensorycznymi zbieranymi podczas normalnej pracy silnika aż do jego uszkodzenia. Po niezbędnej wstępnej obróbce danych, przeprowadzono analizę skupień w celu wygenerowania skupień reprezentujących multi-stany procesu degradacji. Wyodrębniono klaster stanów uszkodzenia, a następnie obliczono odległość między wstępnie przetworzonymi danymi a wyodrębnionym klastrem. Następnie wygenerowano jednowymiarowe szeregi czasowe, które zdefiniowano jako wskaźniki stanu technicznego. Na podstawie tych wskaźników zbudowano modele degradacji. Wreszcie, w oparciu o analizę podobieństwa do opracowanych modeli oceniono RUL jednostki testowej. Główne algorytmy zastosowane w niniejszym opracowaniu to algorytmy grupowania hierarchicznego (HC) oraz maszyny wektorów istotnych (RVM). Aby zweryfikować zaproponowaną w pracy metodę, przeprowadzono studium przypadku z wykorzystaniem danych dot. silników turbowentylatorowych pochodzące z Prognostic Center of Excellence (PCoE) przy NASA Ames Research Center oraz przedstawiono odpowiednie porównania.

The thermal insulation of clothing needs to be easily adjusted in an unsteady environment, but this is extremely difficult for most clothing. To reveal the effect of different styles of Tibetan clothing on their thermal property, the total thermal insulations of Tibetan clothing in three typical styles were measured using a thermal manikin. The clothing area factors (fcl) of the Tibetan clothing and body surface area covered by a Tibetan robe were tested with a photographic method. The results showed the following: 1) For similar insulation, fcl of Tibetan clothing is about 0.23 bigger than that of western clothing, estimated from ISO 11079; 2)the style of Tibetan clothing significantly affects the fcl (p < 0.05, fcl = 1.229 + 0.007 BSAC) and the intrinsic thermal insulation (p < 0.05, Icl = 0.166 + 0.016 BSAC); 3)the adjustable thermal insulation of Tibetan clothing proved its adaptability to the large air temperature difference environment on the Tibetan plateau ,which should be valuable for the product development of clothing used in a unsteady environment.
Odzież powinna umożliwiać zmianę jej przewodności cieplnej w niestabilnym środowisku, jednak dla większości odzieży jest to niezwykle trudne. W celu określenia wpływu różnych stylów ubiorów tybetańskich na ich właściwości termiczne określono całkowitą izolację termiczna dla trzech typowych stylów odzieży tybetańskiej przy zastosowaniu manekina termicznego. Wpływ konfiguracji ubioru sprawdzono metodą fotograficzną za pomocą termowizji, określając jednocześnie powierzchniowy współczynnik okrycia ciała fcl. Wykazano, że 1) przy podobnej izolacji fcl ubiorów tybetańskich jest o 0.23 większy od ubiorów zachodnich (ISO11079); 2) styl ubiorów tybetańskich znacząco wpływa na fcl jak i wewnętrzną izolacje cieplną; 3) możliwość regulacji izolacji termicznej tybetańskiego ubioru zapewnia zdolność przystosowania się do dużych różnic temperatury otoczenia na płaskowyżu tybetańskim. Wyniki badań mogą znaleźć zastosowanie w projektowaniu odzieży noszonej w niestabilnym środowisku.

Specific emitter identification (SEI) is a technique for recognizing different emitters of the same type which have the same modulation parameters. Using only the classic modulation parameters for recognition, one cannot distinguish different emitters of a same type. To solve the problem, new features urgently need to be developed for recognition. This paper focuses on the common phenomenon of frequency drift, defines geometric features of frequency drift curve and, finally, proposes a practical algorithm of specific emitter identification using the geometric features. The proposed algorithm consists of three processes: instantaneous frequency estimation based on the adaptive fractional spectrogram, feature extraction of frequency drift curve based on geometric methods for describing a curve and recognition process based on support vector machine. Simulation results show that the identification rate is generally more than 98% above –5 dB of signal to noise ratio (SNR), and real data experiment verifies the practical performance of the proposed algorithm.

For the anti-jamming purpose, high linear complexity is desired for each frequency hopping sequence in an optimal set. Using a proper power permutation, Wang has shown that an optimal set of frequency hopping sequences with small linear complexity can be transformed into a new optimal set of frequency hopping sequences with large linear complexity. This paper conains two results. First, we extend the result of Wang. A power permutation is only suitable for a special construction of optimal set of frequency hopping sequences, see Wang (2011). However, the power permutation chosen in this paper applies to the general construction of optimal set of frequency hopping sequences. Second, by using a binomial permutation polynomial P(x), which is different from those permutations used before, we obtain a novel optimal set of frequency hopping sequences with high linear complexity from an optimal set of frequency hopping sequences with small linear complexity. By counting the number of different roots in the sequence representation, we determine the linear complexities of the frequency hopping sequences in two optimal sets transformed by the power permutation or binomial permutation.

This paper discusses the multi-state system (MSS) consisted of multi-state components with minor failure and minor repair. In order to obtain the reliability indices of MSS, a new combined method is suggested. This method is based on the Markov stochastic process and the universal generating function (UGF) technology. The traditional idea of modeling the MSS is to use straightforward Markov process. That is not effective enough for the MSS because the model of the system is complicated usually and the state space often arouses “dimension curse” - huge numbers of the states. We suggest it should model the multi-state components and the UGF of multi-state components can be obtained firstly. Then the MSS can be decomposed into several subsystems which only contain simple series-parallel structure. According to the physical nature of the subsystems, the UGF of those subsystems can be employed recursively. Furthermore the UGF of the entire MSS will be obtained. Therefore, the reliability indices of the MSS can be evaluated easily. The suggested method simplifies greatly the complexity of calculation and is well formulized. Two numerical examples illustrate this method.
W artykule omówiono system wielostanowy (multi-state system, MSS) składający się z elementów wielostanowych, które mogą ulegać drobnym uszkodzeniom i podlegają drobnym naprawom. Zaproponowano nową metodę łączoną, która pozwala wyznaczać wskaźniki niezawodności MSS. Metoda ta opiera się na procesie stochastycznym Markowa oraz technologii uniwersalnej funkcji tworzącej (universal generating function, UGF). Tradycyjnie do modelowania MSS wykorzystuje się sam proces Markowa. Metoda ta nie jest jednak wystarczająco skuteczna w przypadku MSS, ponieważ modele tego typu systemów są zazwyczaj skomplikowane, a przestrzeń stanów często prowadzi do tzw. "przekleństwa wielowymiarowości" – konieczności uwzględnienia ogromnej liczby stanów. Nasza metoda polega na modelowaniu elementów wielostanowych, dla których, w pierwszej kolejności wyznacza się UGF. Następnie MSS można rozłożyć na kilka podsystemów, które mają prostą strukturę szeregowo-równoległą. Charakter fizyczny tych podsystemów, pozwala na rekurencyjne stosowanie UGF dla tych podsystemów. Ponadto metoda umożliwia wyznaczenie UGF dla całego MSS, co pozwala na łatwą ocenę wskaźników niezawodności MSS. Proponowana metoda znacznie upraszcza obliczenia i jest dobrze sformalizowana. W pracy przedstawiono dwa przykłady numeryczne, które ilustrują omawianą metodę.

The leakage from submarine pipe network is investigated by a numerical model in this paper. A whole event including of the steady flow before the leakage, the transient flow during the leakage and the steady flow after the leakage is considered in the model. The numerical results of the discharge and the head compare with the theoretical solution under the condition of steady flow. Good agreement is obtained. The numerical results of the discharge and the head show that the discharge and the head in each pipe changes suddenly after the leakage occurring. The abrupt trend of the discharge in each pipe is not same completely. Some change upwards, while others downwards. However, the abrupt trend of the head is always downward. The effects of leakage discharge on the transient flow are also investigated. It is founded that the larger the leakage discharge, the more obvious the abrupt trend of the discharge and the head before or after the leakage is.

The pressure-induced phase transitions of cadmium sulfide semiconductor in both zinc-blende and wurtzite structures are investigated by ab initio plane-wave pseudopotential density functional theory with the local density approximation. On the basis of the fourth-order Birch-Murnaghan equation of state, the phase transition pressures $P_{t}$ are determined by the enthalpy criterion. It is found that the phase transitions occur at pressure of 2.57 GPa (zinc blende-rocksalt structure) and 2.60 GPa (wurtzite-rocksalt structure), respectively. The equilibrium structural parameters, elastic constants, and phase transition pressures are calculated and compared with the experimental data available and other theoretical results. According to linear-response approach, the thermodynamic properties such as the free energy, enthalpy, entropy, and heat capacity are also obtained successfully from the phonon density of state.

The main work of this paper focuses on the simulation of binary alloy solidification using the phase field model and adaptive octree grids. Ni-Cu binary alloy is used as an example in this paper to do research on the numerical simulation of isothermal solidification of binary alloy. Firstly, the WBM model, numerical issues and adaptive octree grids have been explained. Secondary, the numerical simulation results of three dimensional morphology of the equiaxed grain and concentration variations are given, taking the efficiency advantage of the adaptive octree grids. The microsegregation of binary alloy has been analysed emphatically. Then, numerical simulation results of the influence of thermo-physical parameters on the growth of the equiaxed grain are also given. At last, a simulation experiment of large scale and long-time has been carried out. It is found that increases of initial temperature and initial concentration will make grain grow along certain directions and adaptive octree grids can effectively be used in simulations of microstructure.

Opis:
The effect of galvanic interaction between pyrite and galena on xanthate adsorbing on the galena surface has been investigated by means of density functional theory (DFT) and cyclic voltammetric measurements. The calculated results show that differences in the contact site and contact distance between galena and pyrite can affect the intensity of the galvanic interaction, and the relationship between the intensity of galvanic interaction and the adsorption ability of xanthate on galena surface has been studied in detail. In general, the galvanic interaction between pyrite and galena surface can enhance the adsorption of xanthate on the galena surface. The adsorption energies of xanthate on the galena surface decrease with the decrease of contact distance, and when the contact distance is lower than 4 Å, the adsorption energies decrease significantly at Pb-Pb, Pb-S and S-S sites. In particular, at the contact distance of 3 Å, a sharp decrease of adsorption energy is observed at the Pb-Pb contact site; in this case, the negative shift of the Pb-S bonding range and DOS non-locality at Pb-Pb contact site are significantly greater than that of the S-S or Pb-S contact sites. The cyclic voltammetric measurements reveal that the galvanic interaction between galena and pyrite improves the adsorption of xanthate on galena surface, which is in good agreement with the DFT results.

Taking the random electromagnetic cosh-Gaussian beam as a typical example of random electromagnetic beams, the analytical expressions for the cross-spectral density matrix element of random electromagnetic cosh-Gaussian beams propagating through non-Kolmogorov atmospheric turbulence are derived, and used to study the changes in the states of polarization (degree of polarization, orientation angle and degree of ellipticity) of random electromagnetic cosh-Gaussian beams in non-Kolmogorov atmospheric turbulence. It is shown that the states of polarization of random electromagnetic cosh-Gaussian beams in non-Kolmogorov atmospheric turbulence are different from those in free space. The degree of polarization decreases, and the orientation angle and degree of ellipticity increase with increasing structure constant. The on-axis degree of polarization and the degree of ellipticity appear to have an oscillatory behavior and the orientation angle has a rapid transition for the larger cosh-part parameter of random electromagnetic cosh-Gaussian beams in atmospheric turbulence.

Opis:
Seasonal drought stress is common in farmland even under humid climate conditions. Low soil water content and high penetration resistance in clayey soil are both factors that limit crop growth, which is significantly affected by tillage. In a twoyear (2014-2015) field experiment conducted in Hubei, China, the effects of conventional tillage, along with occasional deep tillage and no-till, on the soil water content and penetration resistance values of red soil and on the crop water potentials of the maize crop (Zea mays L.) were tested. Compared to conventional tillage, deep tillage reduced the difference in the soil water characteristic curve between 0-40 cm soil layers, resulting in a more loose and homogeneous topsoil. The deep tillage significantly (p<0.05) decreased soil penetration resistance, increased soil-available water content and soil water content during the dry period, promoted an increase in maize root density by 11.4~31.6%, and increased the water potential of the maize root and leaf during most growth stages. In contrast, the effect of no-till was opposite to that of deep tillage, reducing maize grain yield by 25.3~26.3%. The results confirmed that no-till is not appropriate for the clayey red soil but rather that tillage is needed. This suggests that occasional deep tillage is helpful in mitigating seasonal crop drought stress under the conditions of a humid climate.

Opis:
Due to the unique geographic location, complex navigation environment and intense vessel traffic, a considerable number of maritime accidents occurred in estuarine waters during recent years which caused serious loss of life, property and environmental contamination. Based on the historical data of maritime accidents from 2003 to 2012, which is collected from Shenzhen Maritime Safety Administration, this paper conducted a risk analysis of maritime accidents by applying Bayesian network and fault tree analysis. First a Bayesian network model was introduced to describe the consequence of accidents based on the accident investigation report. Then fault tree analysis was applied to estimate the probability on the basis of accident statistics and ship traffic flow. Finally the risk of maritime accidents in Shenzhen Waters was depicted through the consequence multiplied by the probability of an accident.

Opis:
Iron ore tailing is a kind of hazardous solid waste produced by iron and steel industry. In order to separate and recycle iron from the magnetic preconcentrate of an iron ore tailing, an innovative technological route of fluidized magnetization roasting followed by low-intensity magnetic separation was proposed in this paper. The effects of roasting temperature, dosages of reducing gas CO and fluidizing gas N2 on recovery rate of iron were carried out and optimized. The results showed that the hematite was almost reduced to magnetite by a gas mixture of 4 m3/h CO and 1 m3/h N2 at roasting temperature of 540 °C. Under the optimized conditions, a magnetic concentrate assaying 61.4 wt% Fe with a recovery rate of 81.8% was obtained from the magnetic preconcentrate of an iron ore tailing. The iron chemical phase, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and optical metallographic microscope analyses revealed that siderite was converted to magnetite successfully after roasting, and some coarse magnetite-hematite interlocking particles were formed due to insufficient reaction time, which could also be recovered by magnetic separation after liberating from gangue minerals.

A robust Kalman filter improved with IGG (Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics) scheme is proposed and used to resist the harmful effect of gross error from GPS observation in PPP/INS (precise point positioning/inertial navigation system) tightly coupled positioning. A new robust filter factor is constructed as a three-section function to increase the computational efficiency based on the IGG principle. The results of simulation analysis show that the robust Kalman filter with IGG scheme is able to reduce the filter iteration number and increase efficiency. The effectiveness of new robust filter is demonstrated by a real experiment. The results support our conclusion that the improved robust Kalman filter with IGG scheme used in PPP/INS tightly coupled positioning is able to remove the ill effect of gross error in GPS pseudorange observation. It clearly illustrates that the improved robust Kalman filter is very effective, and all simulated gross errors added to GPS pseudorange observation are successfully detected and modified.

Chitosan-modified corn starch was prepared and then applied as a glass fiber sizing agent. The effect of the chitosan on starch-based emulsion, film and sized glass fiber was studied. When 5 % of the chitosan was added, the overall performance of the modified film-forming agent was optimal. The viscosity, surface tension and zeta potential of the sizing agent were 44.99 mPa·s, 51.29 mN·m-1 and 4.5 mV, respectively. The modified sizing agent could easily spread over the surface of glass fibre, and conglutinated to the glass surface firmly. The tensile strength and stiffness of modified-starch glass fiber reached 0.43 N·tex-1 and 4.96 cm. Glass fiber with good overall performance was obtained.
W pracy przygotowano skrobię kukurydzianą modyfikowaną chitozanem, a następnie zastosowano ją jako środek klejący włókien szklanych. Określono lepkość, napięcie powierzchniowe i potencjał zeta środka klejącego. Zmierzono wytrzymałość na rozciąganie i sztywność zmodyfikowanego włókna szklanego. Stwierdzono, że modyfikacja skrobi chitozanem powoduje poprawienie jej właściwości jako środka klejącego. Modyfikacja zwiększyła przyczepność skrobi do włókien i poprawiła ich właściwości mechaniczne.

Based on the extended Huygens–Fresnel principle and the definition of second-order moments of the Wigner distribution function, the analytical expression for the kurtosis parameter of partially coherent controllable dark hollow beams in free space is derived, and used to study the influence of beam parameters on the kurtosis parameter. It is shown that the kurtosis parameter increases with increasing the wavelength and the waist width, or decreasing the scaling factor, however, the effect of the beam order and the spatial correlation length on the kurtosis parameter depends on the propagation distance. The results can be interpreted physically.

In the process of oil exploitation and transportation, large amounts of crude oil are often spilled, resulting in serious pollution of the marine environment. Forecasting oil spill reverse trajectories to determine the exact oil spill sources is crucial for taking proactive and effective emergency measures. In this study, the backward-in-time model (BTM) is proposed for identifying sources of oil spills in the East China Sea. The wind, current and random walk are three major factors in the simulation of oil spill sources. The wind drag coefficient varies along with the uncertainty of the wind field, and the random walk is sensitive to various traits of different regions, these factors are taken as constants in most of the state-of-the-art studies. In this paper, a self-adaptive modification mechanism for drift factors is proposed, which depends on a data set derived from the drifter buoys deployed over the East China Sea shelf. It can be well adapted to the regional characteristics of different sea areas. The correlation factor between predicted positions and actual locations of the drifters is used to estimate optimal coefficients of the BTM. A comparison between the BTM and the traditional method is also made in this study. The results presented in this paper indicate that our method can be used to predict the actual specific spillage locations.

The need for improvement in nitrocellulose (NC) storage safety and convenience of application requires an increase in NC thermal stability and enhancement of its mechanical properties. To this aim, hybrid materials were synthesized by grafting NC with aminopropylisobutyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (amino-POSS) using isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) as a crosslinking agent. The structure and elemental composition of the resulting products were confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR and 29Si NMR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). It was found, based on the silicon mapping using energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), that amino-POSS was well dispersed in NC matrix. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) studies showed that hybrid amino-POSS-NC materials have higher thermal decomposition activation energy (Ea) compared to NC control sample. According to TGA results, the temperatures of 5 % weight loss (T5 %) and 50 % weight loss (T50 %) as well as the residual masses at 240 °C (CR240 °C), were increased as a result of NC modification with amino-POSS. As can be seen from the digital and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images, the char layers of amino-POSS-NC hybrid materials after burning in air became more compact with increasing amino-POSS content. XPS studies have shown an increased content of the graphitized carbon in the char residues of the modified samples. The results of DSC, TGA, SEM and XPS studies have directly proved the enhancement of the thermal stability of amino-POSS-NC hybrid materials. In addition, tensile strengths and Young's moduli of amino-POSS-NC hybrid materials were increased gradually with the amino-POSS content in the uniaxial tensile tests. All these results show that the proposed modification of nitrocellulose improves the safety of manufacture and use of this material.
Poprawa bezpieczeństwa przechowywania nitrocelulozy (NC) wymaga zwiększenia jej stabilności termicznej, a wygoda używania poprawy właściwości mechanicznych. W tym celu zsyntetyzowano materiały hybrydowe, w których NC szczepiono oligomerycznym wielofunkcyjnym aminopropyloizobutylosilseskwioksanem (amino-POSS) stosując jako środek sieciujący izoforonodiizocyjanian (IPDI). Strukturę i skład otrzymanych materiałów potwierdzono za pomocą spektroskopii w podczerwieni z transformatą Fouriera (FT-IR), jądrowego rezonansu magnetycznego (1H NMR i 29SiNMR), dyfraktometrii rentgenowskiej (XRD) oraz spektroskopii fotoelektronów rentgenowskich (XPS). Na podstawie wyników badań mapowania Si, otrzymanych metodą spektroskopii dyspersji energii promieniowania rentgenowskiego (EDS), stwierdzono, że amino-POSS został dobrze zdyspergowany w matrycy NC. Badania stabilności termicznej przeprowadzone za pomocą różnicowej kalorymetrii skaningowej (DSC) wykazały, że materiały hybrydowe typu amino-POSS-NC charakteryzują się większymi wartościami energii aktywacji rozkładu termicznego (Ea) niż próbka kontrolna NC. Zgodnie z wynikami analizy termograwimetrycznej (TGA) wartości temperatury ubytku 5 % (T5 %) i 50% (T50 %) masy próbki oraz pozostałości masy w temperaturze 240 °C (CR240 °C) zwiększały się na skutek modyfikacji NC za pomocą amino-POSS. Według fotografii cyfrowych i fotografii wykonanych metodą skaningowej mikroskopii elektronowej (SEM) warstwy węglowe powstałe po spaleniu materiałów hybrydowych w powietrzu wraz ze zwiększeniem zawartości amino-POSS stawały się coraz bardziej zwarte, a wyniki badań XPS wykazały, że tworzyło się coraz więcej węgla w postaci grafitu. Wszystkie wyniki DSC, TGA, SEM i XPS dowodzą poprawy stabilności termicznej materiałów hybrydowych amino-POSS-NC. Stwierdzono także, że wytrzymałość na rozciąganie i moduł Young'a podczas prób jednoosiowego rozciągania materiałów hybrydowych rosną ze zwiększaniem się zawartości amino-POSS. Wyniki wszystkich przeprowadzonych badań dowodzą, że zaproponowana modyfikacja NC poprawia bezpieczeństwo wytwarzania i użytkowania tych materiałów w porównaniu z niemodyfikowanym NC.

A tunable diode laser absorption spectrometer was developed for trace acetylene gas analysis, the system performance was evaluated by combing an appropriate digital signal processing methods, i.e., Savitzky–Golay smoothing and differentiation algorithm. The calculation of the derivative spectra by this method is accompanied by simultaneous data smoothing. Based on the 2nd deriv- ative spectra detection method, the Allan variance technique indicates a C2H2 detection limit of 1.7ppm for 1-s averaging time, and a minimum noise level of 62ppb (parts per billion), at the optimum integration time of ~60s. The calculated 2nd derivative spectra with better resolution, lower detection limits, save signal processing time, and improve the ability to distinguish unresolved spectral signals.

Fruit biomechanics is needed for quality determination, multiscale modelling and engineering design of fruit processes and equipments. However, these determined fruit biomechanics data often have obvious differences for the same fruit or tissue. In order to investigate it, the fruit biomechanics based on anatomy was reviewed in this paper. First, the anatomical characteristics of fruit biomaterials were described at the macroscopic ‘tissue’ level and microscopic ‘cellular’ level. Subsequently, the factors affecting fruit biomechanics based on anatomy and the relationships between fruit biomechanics, texture and mechanical damage were summarised according to the published literature. Fruit biomechanics is mainly affected by size, number and arrangement of cells, quantity and volume of intracellular spaces, structure, thickness, chemical composition and permeability of cell walls, and pectin degradation level and turgor pressure within cells based on microanatomy. Four test methods and partial determined results of fruit biomechanics were listed and reviewed. The determined mechanical properties data of fruit are only approximate values by using the existing four test methods, owing to the fruit biomaterials being non-homogeneous and living. Lastly, further aspects for research on fruit biomechanics were proposed for the future.

Opis:
This paper focuses on the problem of constraint control for a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems. Firstly, a new discrete T–S fuzzy hyperbolic model is proposed to represent a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems. By means of the parallel distributed compensation (PDC) method, a novel asymptotic stabilizing control law with the “soft” constraint property is designed. The main advantage is that the proposed control method may achieve a small control amplitude. Secondly, for an uncertain discrete T–S fuzzy hyperbolic system with external disturbances, by the proposed control method, the robust stability and H performance are developed by using a Lyapunov function, and some sufficient conditions are established through seeking feasible solutions of some linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) to obtain several positive diagonally dominant (PDD) matrices. Finally, the validity and feasibility of the proposed schemes are demonstrated by a numerical example and a Van de Vusse one, and some comparisons of the discrete T–S fuzzy hyperbolic model with the discrete T–S fuzzy linear one are also given to illustrate the advantage of our approach.

This paper is aimed at investigating activation behaviors for coal-series kaolin using fluidized bed calcination as a novel method. The properties of calcined products at different temperature by fluidized bed calcination were evaluated by determination of weight loss rate, whiteness, chemical oxygen demand (COD), aluminum dissolution degree. The thermal behaviors and reaction mechanism were characterized by thermo gravimetric-differential scanning calorimetry (TG-DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), particle size distribution (PSD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results showed that calcination temperature was essential factor determining the properties and crystallinity of calcined products using fluidized bed calcination. Coal-series kaolin transformed into irregular and amorphous metakaolin with excellent properties as calcined at 600-900 °C, which attributed to the dehydroxylation of kaolinite and combustion of carbon/organic matter. Calcined kaolin eliminated activity ascribed to the recrystallization into mullite when calcination temperature was over 1000 °C. It was believed that fluidized bed calcination was an efficient thermal activation technology for coal-series kaolin and the calcination temperature should be controlled accurately.

Opis:
The advance of MEMS-based inertial sensors successfully expands their applications to small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), thus resulting in the challenge of reliable and accurate in-flight alignment for air-borne MEMS-based inertial navigation system (INS). In order to strengthen the rapid response capability for UAVs, this paper proposes a robust in-flight alignment scheme for airborne MEMS-INS aided by global navigation satellite system (GNSS). Aggravated by noisy MEMS sensors and complicated flight dynamics, a rotation-vector-based attitude determination method is devised to tackle the in-flight coarse alignment problem, and the technique of innovation-based robust Kalman filtering is used to handle the adverse impacts of measurement outliers in GNSS solutions. The results of flight test have indicated that the proposed alignment approach can accomplish accurate and reliable in-flight alignment in cases of measurement outliers, which has a significant performance improvement compared with its traditional counterparts.

Opis:
To effectively predict traffic fatalities and promote the friendly development of transportation, a prediction model of traffic fatalities is established based on support vector machine (SVM). As the prediction accuracy of SVM largely depends on the selection of parameters, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is introduced to find the optimal parameters. In this paper, small sample and nonlinear data are used to predict fatalities of traffic accident. Traffic accident statistics data of China from 1981 to 2012 are chosen as experimental data. The input variables for predicting accident are highway mileage, vehicle number and population size while the output variables are traffic fatality. To verify the validity of the proposed prediction method, the back-propagation neural network (BPNN) prediction model and SVM prediction model are also used to predict the traffic fatalities. The results show that compared with BPNN prediction model and SVM model, the prediction model of traffic fatalities based on PSO-SVM has higher prediction precision and smaller errors. The model can be more effective to forecast the traffic fatalities. And the method using particle swarm optimization algorithm for parameter optimization of SVM is feasible and effective. In addition, this method avoids overcomes the problem of “over learning” in neural network training progress.

In order to precisely analyze and design the transmittance characteristics of a blazed grating, the validity of both the scalar diffraction theory and the effective medium theory is quantitatively demonstrated. By making a comparison of diffraction efficiencies calculated by the two simplified methods and Fourier modal method, the accuracy can be obtained. It is found that when the normalized period is more than three wavelengths of the incident light, the scalar diffraction theory is useful to calculate the transmittance of the blazed grating within the error of less than 3%. The validity of the scalar diffraction theory increases when the normalized period increases. Importantly, by considering the Fresnel reflection effect, the validity of scalar diffraction theory can be significantly enhanced. Furthermore, when no higher-order diffraction waves appear and only zeroth order diffraction wave propagates, the effective medium theory is accurate to compute the diffraction efficiency within the difference of less than 1% between the zeroth order effective medium theory and Fourier modal method. The polarization characteristics of the validity of effective medium theory are also quantitatively demonstrated. The validity of the two simplified theories is dependent on not only the normalized period of surface microstructure but also the normalized groove depth.

The flotation behavior of hard-to-separate and high-ash fine coal was investigated using conventional flotation with constant power input. A new flotation process, based on energy input and distribution, was designed to lower the ash content of concentrate. The results obtained using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) analysis show that the coal samples have good floatability because of many hydrophobic and few hydrophilic functional groups. Under a constant power input, a large number of ash-forming materials floated into a froth product at the start of flotation. Based on the Fuerstenau upgrading curves, it was determined that the 0.25-0.074 mm size fraction range showed the worst selectivity when compared with 0.50-0.25 mm and -0.074 mm size fractions. The desired concentrate with an ash content of 13.98%, 27.59% of ash recovery, and 80.01% combustible matter recovery could be obtained by transferring the excess energy of the flotation-conditioning stage to the pre-conditioning stage and increasing the power input step-by-step in the flotation-conditioning stage at equal total energy consumption.

The effect of mannose on nitrate uptake was investigated by a new non-invasive technique. Under normal condition, nitrate uptake by wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) roots was about 1-7 µmol gfwt-1 h-1. After the addition of 10 mM mannose, net nitrate influx by wheat roots started to decrease and reached a new steady state at -40 ±50% of the control value after 73 min. After mannose supplied for 2 h, its removal caused net nitrate influx to be recovered to an original rate. Therefore, the inhibition of mannose on nitrate uptake is not due to the onset of programmed cell death because it starts too rapidly and it is reversible, however, it is probably due to Pi and consequent ATP depletion.

Flotation tests with intergrown particle liberation were conducted to explore a separation method of difficult-to-separate coking coal from the Tangshan Kailuan mine in China. The particle size distribution, density and coal petrography were investigated. The difficult-to-separate coking coal sample resulted in intergrown particles, such as non-liberated coal and rocks. Thus, intergrown coal particle liberation and re-separation tests were conducted. The results showed that grinding time had a great effect on the flotation performance. Grinding prompted coal to dissociate and improve the surface hydrophobic properties of minerals. However, heterogeneous fine silt covered the surface of coal particles when coal was ground too long. The inorganic mineral particles were over-ground and reduced the contact angle of coal. The results of coal rock dissociation and laboratory re-separation tests showed that clean coal combustible recovery increased through intergrown particle liberation and re-separation.

Along with the advancement of manufacturing techniques, the quality of the spares for product is likely to be improved during the warranty period. There can be two types of spares, i.e. low-quality spares and high-quality spares for replacement maintenance. And the manufacturers (customers) may have to decide whether or not to provide (buy) the warranty considering upgrading maintenance. This paper presents a renewing warranty policy considering three maintenance options for products with multiple failure modes. The cost and availability models of these maintenance options are proposed. Of these options, upgrading maintenance is taken into account with the assumption that the warrantied item will be upgraded one time during the warranty cycle. After upgrading maintenance, the high-quality spares are used to replace the failed item. By minimizing the ratio between cost and availability of the product, the optimal upgrading opportunity is obtained. In the numerical example, the results of these options are presented. Monte Carlo simulation results are compared with the analytical results to demonstrate the correctness and efficiency of the proposed models considering upgrading maintenance. The renewing warranty policy considering upgrading maintenance policy is compared with the one without considering upgrading maintenance. The results show that the former is better than the latter in some cases. The sensitivity of the cost model and availability model to different parameters is analyzed at last.
Wraz z postępem techniki produkcji, wzrasta prawdopodobieństwo, że jakość części zamiennych do produktu ulegnie poprawie w przeciągu okresu gwarancyjnego. Istnieją dwa rodzaje części zamiennych: części zamienne niskiej i wysokiej jakości. Producenci (klienci) mogą być zmuszeni podjąć decyzję czy objąć produkt gwarancją (wykupić gwarancję) zapewniającą konserwację modernizacyjną. W artykule przedstawiono politykę odnawiania gwarancji z uwzględnieniem trzech różnych opcji obsługi produktów narażonych na mnogie przyczyny uszkodzeń. Zaproponowano modele kosztów i gotowości dla omawianych opcji obsługi. Spośród badanych opcji, do dalszej analizy wybrano konserwację modernizacyjną zakładającą, że element podlegający gwarancji zostanie poddany jednokrotnej modernizacji podczas cyklu gwarancyjnego. Po wykonaniu konserwacji modernizacyjnej, uszkodzony element zastępuje się częściami zamiennymi wysokiej jakości. Minimalizując stosunek kosztów do gotowości produktu, uzyskuje się optymalną możliwość modernizacji Przykład numeryczny przedstawia wyniki uzyskane dla omawianych opcji. Wyniki symulacji Monte Carlo porównano z wynikami analitycznymi w celu wykazania prawidłowości i efektywności proponowanych modeli uwzględniających konserwację modernizacyjną. Politykę odnawiania gwarancji uwzględniającą konserwację modernizacyjną porównano z polityką, która takiej konserwacji nie uwzględnia. Wyniki pokazują, że pierwsza z tych opcji jest w niektórych przypadkach korzystniejsza od drugiej. Badania wieńczy analiza czułości modelu kosztów i modelu gotowości na różne parametry.

This article reports on the carbon footprint of production processes of polypropylene nonwoven shopping bags made out of two different manufacturing technologies (Products A and B, made by the conventional sewing and thermal joining methods) assessed from their cradle to the gate stage using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) technique. This study was performed based on the comprehensive Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) of two different manufacturing sequences obtained from a detailed in-field study of the nonwoven PP bag manufacturing industry. The environmental impacts were quantified by means of the IPCC 2007 GWP V 1.1. method in SIMAPRO 7.2. The carbon footprint expressed in terms of the global warming potential (kg CO2 values for 20 and 100 years), calculated by IPCC 2007 methods, was considered as a directive to compare the environmental impact of these bags, manufactured by the two different technologies, and a detailed explanation of the results is provided in this paper. From the results of carbon footprint modelling, product A, made by conventional sewing technology, was found to be better than product B, made by thermal technology. A detailed explanation of the results of the environmental performance of these bags as well as the hot-spots in both production technologies are discussed to a greater extent in this article.
Artykuł dotyczy poziomu emisji związków węgla przy produkcji toreb na zakupy wykonanych z włókniny polipropylenowej przy zastosowaniu dwóch różnych technologii (konwencjonalne szycie i zgrzewanie termiczne) ocenionego techniką LCA - środowiskowej oceny analizy cyklu życia produktu. Badania przeprowadzono w oparciu o wyczerpującą analizę zbioru danych cyklu życia (LCI) dwóch różnych procedur produkcyjnych opartych na zebraniu danych od producentów toreb. Ilościowa ocena wpływu środowiska została wyliczona stosując metodę IPCC 2007 GWP V 1.1. Emisja związków węgla w kategoriach potencjału tworzenia efektu cieplarnianego (wartość kgCO2 podana dla 20 i 100 lat) zastała uznana za istotny czynnik dla oceny wpływu analizowanych procesów produkcyjnych na środowisko. Stwierdzono, że z punktu widzenia emisji korzystniejszy jest tradycyjny sposób produkcji - zszywanie, w porównaniu do zgrzewania.

The opening unit is an important device in a rotor spinning unit to comb fibres and remove trash. In this paper, numerical simulation is carried out to study the flow structure in the rotor spinning channel and the trash removal process in the trash removal unit. Firstly the effect of the opening unit on the airflow field in the rotor channel is investigated by singlephase simulation. The result shows that the effective area for fibre conveyance enlarges as the absolute value of negative pressure at the outlet increases, while it decreases as the opening roller speed increases. However, the effect of the negative pressure and the opening roller speed on the length of the vortex in the axial direction is quite small. Secondly the trash separation process in the trash removal unit is simulated using the Discrete Phase Model (DPM). Suitable rotational speeds of particles of different diameters are acquired. These results could provide a valuable reference for parameter selection in the trash-removal process.
Jednostka otwierająca jest ważnym urządzeniem w przędzarce rotorowej służącym do rozczesywania włókien i usuwania odpadów. W artykule przeprowadzono symulację numeryczną mającą na celu zbadanie struktury przepływu w kanale przędzalniczym wirnika oraz procesu usuwania odpadów. Wpływ jednostki otwierającej na pole przepływu powietrza w kanale wirnika badano symulacją jednofazową. Wyniki wykazały, że efektywny obszar transportu włókien powiększa się, gdy wartość bezwzględnej wartości ujemnego ciśnienia na wylocie wzrasta, a zmniejsza się wraz ze wzrostem prędkości wału otwierającego. Jednakże wpływ podciśnienia i prędkość wału otwierającego na długość wiru w kierunku osiowym jest stosunkowo niewielka. Stwierdzono także, że proces separacji odpadów w jednostce usuwania odpadów jest symulowany przy użyciu modelu dyskretnego fazy (DPM). Otrzymuje się odpowiednie prędkości obrotowe cząstek o różnych średnicach. Wyniki te mogą stanowić cenny punkt odniesienia dla wyboru parametrów w procesie usuwania odpadów.

Goldenrod (Solidago canadensis L.) is an invasive plant species in many countries except North America but a cut-flower species worldwide. There is a need to generate and propagate goldenrod clones efficiently for research and commercial purposes. A callus induction and plantlet regeneration system was developed by studying the influence of explant type and different concentrations of plant growth regulators. The highest callus production from leaf segments was obtained on Murashige and Skoog's medium (MS medium) supplemented with 1.0 mg/L naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) and 1.0 mg/L 6-benzylaminopurine (BA). Adventitious shoots could be regenerated directly from leaf explants without an intermediate callus phase with the highest shoot induction percentage of 87.2%. The largest number of adventitious shoots per leaf explant (3.2) was obtained on MS medium supplemented with 0.4 mg/L NAA and 2.0 mg/L BA. MS medium supplemented with 0.1 mg/L NAA and 1.0 mg/L BA was the best medium for axillary shoot regeneration from nodal segments. The highest root number and longest roots occurred on half-strength MS without the addition of any growth regulator. Rooted plantlets were then transferred to a soil-based growth medium, placed in a greenhouse, and acclimatized with 100% success. All surviving plants grew normally without showing any morphological variation when compared to those grow from seed. This regeneration protocol may be used to produce certain biotypes of goldenrod suitable for genetic transformation, rapid propagation of goldenrod for commercial purposes or for screening fungi and toxins as potential biocontrol agents against this weed.

As important passive flow control methods, dimples and protrusions have been successfully implemented via geometric modifications to manipulate flow fields to get a desired flow parameters enhancement. In this research, two novel needles were proposed based on a prototype by means of the dimple and protrusion, and flow patterns within a root canal during final irrigation with these needles were numerically investigated. The calculation cases consistent with the clinically realistic irrigant flow rates, which are 0.02, 0.16 and 0.26 mL s–1 are marked as case A, B and C, respectively. The characteristic parameters to estimate irrigation efficiency, such as shearing effect, mean apical pressure, irrigation replacement and fluid agitation, were compared and the optimal geometry in every calculation case was obtained. As shown from the results, flow rates and needle geometries were the causes of irrigation parameters variations. The sum of shear stress, irrigation replacement and fluid agitation were equal in the low flow rate case A, however, the needle with a protrusion on its tip had advantages in the three irrigation characteristic parameters above in calculation case B, and the needle with a dimple on its tip had advantages in calculation case C. Furthermore, the needles proposed did not give rise to the risk of irrigant extrusion. These needles can be better choices at larger flow rates. Therefore, needle geometry optimizations utilizing passive flow control methods are worthy to be investigated in the root canal irrigation enhancement.

A novel magneto-optical current sensor (MOCS) with two sensing arms is proposed to improve the temperature stability. One of the arms, with a highly stable permanent magnet attached and orthogonal to the other one, is designed to provide a reference that follows the temperature characteristics of the sensing material. By a normalization operation between two arms, the temperature drift is compensated adaptively and a sensing output proportional to the measured current can be reached. A dual-input and dual-output structure is specially designed for the reference sensing arm to demodulate the DC Faraday rotation angle. This scheme compensates simultaneously two main temperature influence factors, the Verdet constant and linear birefringence. Validation tests were carried out and are discussed.

Polytetrafluoroethylene/aluminum (PTFE/Al) composites are reactive materials which can release energy due to exothermic chemical reactions initiated under shock loading conditions. In order to accurately measure the potential maximum heat of reaction of PTFE/Al composites in an inert atmosphere, we propose in this paper a heat of reaction measurement system based on laser initiation. Our results show that the measurement system successfully initiates the chemical reaction between PTFE and Al in an argon atmosphere. The comparison between theoretical calculations and experimental data demonstrates that our measurement method is highly accurate and exhibits excellent consistency. Thus, the heat of reaction measurement system based on laser initiation is applicable for measuring the heat of reaction of PTFE/Al composites and also other complicated reactive materials.

In this study, the modification mechanism and growth process of Al3(Sc, Zr) particles in as-cast Al-Si-Mg-Cu based alloy with addition of Sc and Zr were systematically investigated. It was found that 0.57 wt-%Sc addition caused a significant refinement in the average grain size of the investigated alloy, which brought about a remarkable transformation in as-cast microstructure, from thick dendritic shape to fine equiaxed structure. A large amount of primary Al3(Sc, Zr) particles with the dimension of around 5-6 μm were also observed within the equiaxed grain. Due to the identical orientation and similar crystal structure between primary Al3(Sc, Zr) particles and α-Al matrix, the primary particles always served as heterogeneous nucleus for the α-Al matrix. In addition, these cusped cubic primary Al3(Sc, Zr) particles showed triangle, star, rhomboid morphologies are generated from sectioning the particle in (111), (100) and (110) planes, respectively. Particularly, the typical eutectic structure which contained odd number-layer (Al3(Sc, Zr)+α-Al+ ... +Al3(Sc, Zr)) was observed within the investigated particles.

Based on the extended Huygens–Fresnel principle, variations in generalized Stokes parameters of stochastic anisotropic electromagnetic beams propagating through modified non-Kolmogorov atmospheric turbulence have been analyzed. The changes in generalized Stokes parameters with different turbulence parameters and source parameters were analyzed first. After that, the distributions of the spectral degrees of cross-polarization (SDCP) of isotropic beams and anisotropic beams were simulated. The results show that the profiles of distribution of SDCP of these two kinds of beams are very different in the near field, and will fluctuate through the propagation in atmospheric turbulence, but at last, when the propagation distance is long enough, the difference in the source makes a slight difference in the final profiles of SDCP in the output plane. They mainly depended on the turbulence perturbation, and in the weak turbulence, the profiles of final distribution show more flatter features.

The friction and wear properties of 201HT aluminum alloys and the corresponding competitive coupons were tested on an electro-hydraulic servo face friction and wear testing machine (MM-U10G). The microstructures of the competitive coupons were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and consequently the corresponding friction and wear mechanisms were studied. The results demonstrated that: (1) the best competitive material of friction and wear performance of the 201HT was the 201HTC. (2) the 201HTC modified by carbon following the initial mill for oil storage of the micro-groove to be produced, increased the corresponding lubrication performance reduced the friction coefficient and wear rate effectively. (3) the 201HT-201HTC could obtain both better friction and wear mainly due to the initial process of grinding following the 201HT plastic deformation occurred in the surface and the formation of a series of re-melting welding points, whereas the 201HT material hardness would be similar to the 201HTC material hardness, which led into the competitive material friction and wear performance improvement.

Electromyography (EMG) and electroencephalography (EEG) methods were used to evaluate the reaction of human skin to tactile stimuli evoked by textiles. The peak value of the EMG and energy percentage of the weave of the EEG when the subjects came into contact with 9 kinds of fabrics were selected for tests and next clothing was made on their basis. They were utilized as two important evaluating indexes. Statistical analysis was carried out to verify the correlation between the data obtained from objective measurements and the subjective measurements. The results showed that when the subjects came into contact with thicker, heavier and stiffer fabrics, the peak values of the myoelectric potential induced were higher. When clothing with a higher mass density was worn, energy percentages of the weave at both the left and right occipitalia were higher.
Dla oceny reakcji ludzkiej skóry na dotykowe stymulacje materiałami włóknistymi stosowano elektromiografię (EMG) i elektroencefalografie (EEG). Wartość szczytowa przebiegu EMG oraz procent energii fali EEG w czasie kiedy badane osoby znajdowały się w kontakcie z 9 rodzajami materiałów włókienniczych posłużyła do ich selekcji dla stosowanych testów. Na tej podstawie wykonano odzież przeznaczona dla osób testowanych. Przeprowadzono analizę statystyczna dla zweryfikowania korelacji pomiędzy wynikami uzyskanymi z obiektywnych pomiarów oraz subiektywnych testów. Wyniki wykazały, że kiedy osoby badane znajdowały się w kontakcie z grubszymi i cięższymi i sztywniejszymi materiałami to wartość piku EMG była wyższa. Kiedy ubranie wykonane było z udziałem przędz o wyższej masie liniowej procent energii fali lewej i prawej połówki potylicy był wyższy.

The rheological properties of ε-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12hexaazaisowurtzitane (CL-20)/hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) casting explosives with different formulations were tested and analyzed. The effects of both the weight percentage (wt.%) of CL-20 and its particle size, as well as the type and content of plasticizers, on the rheological properties of CL-20/HTPB casting explosives were investigated in detail. The results show that the viscosity and pseudoplasticity of CL-20/HTPB casting explosives increase with increasing wt.% of CL-20 and decreasing particle size. The gradation of CL-20 particle size also affects the rheological properties of the casting explosives. When the mixing ratio of 30 μm to 2 μm particles is 3:1, the viscosity reaches its lowest value and the non-Newtonian index reaches the maximum value of 0.5698. The viscosity, non-Newtonian index and impact sensitivity of the samples studied are clearly decreased by the addition of dioctyl adipate (DOA), dioctyl sebacate (DOS) or dibutyl phthalate (DBP). However, the three plasticizers do not appear to affect the thermal decomposition of CL-20/HTPB casting explosives. With respect to the rheological properties, mechanical properties and sensitivity, DOA is the optimum plasticizer to use in CL-20/HTPB casting explosives.

This paper proposes a generalized domain optimization method for fuzzy goal programming with different priorities. According to the three possible styles of the objective function, the domain optimization method and its generalization are correspondingly proposed. This method can generate the results consistent with the decision-maker's priority expectations, according to which the goal with higher priority may have higher level of satisfaction. However, the reformulated optimization problem may be nonconvex for the reason of the nature of the original problem and the introduction of the varying-domain optimization method. It is possible to obtain a local optimal solution for nonconvex programming by the SQP algorithm. In order to get the global solution of the new programming problem, the co-evolutionary genetic algorithm, called GENOCOP III, is used instead of the SQP method. In this way the decision-maker can get. the optimum of the optimization problem. We demonstrate the power of this proposed method based on genetic algorithm by illustrative examples.
