Opis:: precise determination of forest resources is one of the most important tasks in conducting sustainable forest management. Accurate information about the forest’s resources allows for a better planning of current and future management as well as conservation activities. Such precise information is needed by both, individual forest managers and for developing the national forest policy. In recent years, interest in the use of remote sensing in forest inventory has significantly increased. remote sensing allows for non-invasive measurements and the automation of data processing. the most accurate source of remote sensing data at the level of the sample plot is terrestrial laser scanning ( tlS). Its use in forest inventory has been studied for about two decades. this paper aims to introduce studies on state of the art tlS technology as well as provide an overview of research conducted in stands within the temperate climate zone. this article furthermore discusses issues such as tlS data acquisition, data proces- sing and presents results for the estimation of tree biometric features.

Opis:: The paper presents environmental conditions for the selected location of a landfill site on the area of Stary Sącz designated for deposing neutral waste from the installation for secondary segregation of waste. Based on the productivity of the selected municipal waste parameters of accumulation indicators were detennined strictly correlated with the amount of waste predicted for disposal. Components of the facility were selected including the requirements of the resolution as of 30th April 2013 on landfill sites (Journal of Laws 2013 item 523) for application of solutions for protection of water, soil and atmospheric air environment in its surroundings against the negative impact of waste. The paper also refers to the final stage related to closing of a landfill with the assumed plan of its reclamation. The article was summed up with conclusions indicating the limited possibility of location of such a facility on the selected area on account of its location close to Poprad River and on the area of the Main Reservoir of Underground Water. The objective of the paper was to make an attempt to choose components of the installation for neutralization of waste in Stary Sącz taking into account the local environmental conditions.
W artykule zdefiniowano pojęcie systemu zarządzania środowiskowego, określono ramy organizacyjne przedsięwzięcia związanego z ekotransportem odpadów. Scharakteryzowano składowe zarządzania środowiskowego, w tym zidentyfikowano aspekt środowiskowy. Poddano je interpretacji w aspekcie zmniejszenia presji na środowisko. W kontekście idei ciągłego doskonalenia, zwrócono uwagę na wpływ analizowanej organizacji na efektywność jej działalności środowiskowej. Celem pracy jest analiza założeń wynikających z zapisów normy ISO 14001 przy uwzględnieniu organizacji ekotransportu odpadów.

Opis:: Magnetization, M, and susceptibility, χ, measurements showed both strong lowering of magnetic moment in comparison with $CuCr_2Se_4$ matrix and zero-field-cooling-field-cooling susceptibility splitting characteristic for the spin-glass behaviour. Isothermal magnetization curves, M(H), easy saturate and large values both of the Curie $T_{C}$=253 K and Curie-Weiss θ=283.5 K temperatures indicate the ferromagnetic order which coexists with the spin-glass state. The critical behaviour investigated around the paramagnetic-ferromagnetic phase transition revealed that the values of critical exponents are close to those predicted by the mean field model for long-range magnetic interactions.

Opis:: For single crystals $HgCr_2Se_4$ doped by nonmagnetic $Cu^{+},$ $Au^{2+}$ and $Ga^{3+}$ ions and single crystals of $HgCr_2Se_4$ matrix growing in different synthesis conditions both the dc and ac magnetic susceptibility as well as the magnetization have been measured. As it follows from the analysis of the obtained results, paradoxically, the dopants strengthen the long range magnetic interactions of the ferromagnetically ordered single crystals under study, evidenced by the higher values of the ordering temperature in comparison with those ones for pure matrix. An influence of the technological processes connected with deficiency and/or excess of Hg on the long range magnetic interactions was not observed.

Opis:: Taking into account both the dc magnetic susceptibility and the magnetization measurements as well as the high-temperature expansion of the magnetic susceptibility procedure the hopping integrals and superexchange integrals for the first and second coordination sphere were evaluated. The two hopping integrals are positive and many times greater than the superexchange ones. The obtained results testify to that in the stoichiometric compounds under study the double-exchange magnetic interaction is the main mechanism responsible for very strong, ferromagnetic coupling. Using the total hopping integral B the bandwidth of mixed valence band of chromium ions was determined.

Opis:: Both the dc and ac magnetic susceptibilities as well as magnetization measurements were used to study the influence of the dilution of the magnetic chromium subarray by nonmagnetic antimony and aluminium ions on the magnetization processes for four spinel families under investigation. Substitution of the chromium ions by the nonmagnetic Sb and Al ions in the compounds under study leads to the very hard magnetization in the case of the compounds with Sb and very easy magnetization in the compounds with Al. This effect is connected with the electronic configurations of the Sb and Al ions as well as with ionic radii of these cations.
