The article aims at the presentation of a concept referring to the improvement of warehouse management in the X production plant. The authors suggest two solutions: using storage racks at the picking process site and warehouse automation. The main practical problem in the Logistics Department at the company is overstaffing in the unit responsible for the flow of materials. Carried out by the authors of the article, some detailed research on the process analysis in the discussed company indicates that the main cause of such a situation is related to an increase in the amount of transported material and a lack of redesigning the material flow in spite of the increased levels of production and acquisition of new projects. At present, at the company the material is prepared and transported by eleven employees whose work is not standardized and impossible to control. Such a large number of people working at the same time at the warehouse and moving through the transport corridors seriously affects the level of safety in a negative way. Therefore, the authors of the publication have suggested three solutions which involve some logistic changes in the existing process in order to increase safety and to reduce the number of staff involved in the transport.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie koncepcji usprawnienia procesu obróbki wstępnej oraz produkcji dżemu truskawkowego poprzez zakup i wprowadzenie odszypułczarki. Nowa maszyna pozwoliła na likwidację wąskiego gardła w produkcji, dzięki czemu wzrosła dzienna wielkość produkcji.
The article presents approaches to improve the pretreatment and production of strawberry jam by purchasing and introducing stalks removing machines. The new machine has allowed the elimination of the bottleneck in production, allowing increased daily production volume.

The aim of the article is to present a concept related to the improvement of the logistics process at the company, by the modernization of the main railway siding of the terminal. The paper present the reasons for the decision that was once made in order to obtain the expected advantages after the modernization. The comparison of the incurred expenses and the profits that might be gained in the future allows us to state that the decision about the modernization was the right one. The decision about the modernization also referred to a trend towards an increase in cargo handling operations, which could be observed at the company at that time. The decision about modernization was made when the terminal operated using its full capacities of the railway siding. Therefore, the modernization was necessary in order to meet expectations expressed by the current and potential customers who might appear in the future.

Spatial magnetization distribution of cobalt layer is studied by means of three-dimensional micromagnetic simulations in the range of cobalt thickness d from 21 to 249 nm. In this range, a spin-reorientation phase transition occurs, while the cobalt thickness increases, from a state with in-plane magnetization, to a state with out-of-plane components of magnetization. An infinite cobalt layer is modelled by the 750 nm × 750 nm × d structure consisting of cubic cells of size of 3 nm and the periodic boundary conditions. For larger thicknesses, a labyrinth, partially closed, stripe structure has been found.

Opis:
The calculation of the temperature dependence of the domain wall coercivity of ultrathin magnetic films with perpendicular anisotropy is reported. In this case, the magnetization reversal is supposed to occur through domain wall motion. The proposed model takes into account thermal bending fluctuations of the domain wall, which is pinned by crystal defects such as grain boundaries. A fitting procedure, applied to recently published experimental data on the field induced domain wall velocity in Au/Co films, allows us to find out realistic values of the involved parameters.

30 keV $Ga^{+}$ irradiation-induced changes of magnetic and magneto-optical properties of sputtered Pt/Co/Pt ultrathin trilayers films have been studied as a function of the ion fluence. Out-of-plane magnetic anisotropy states with enhanced magneto-optical effects were evidenced for specific values of cobalt thickness and irradiation fluence. Results obtained after uniform or quasi-uniform focused ion beam irradiation on either out-of-plane or in-plane magnetized sputtered pristine trilayers are compared. Similar irradiation-induced magnetic changes are evidenced in quasi-uniformly focused ion beam or uniformly irradiated films, grown either by sputtering or molecular beam epitaxy. We discuss on plausible common mechanisms underlying the observed effects.

W artykule przedstawiono krótką charakterystykę oraz zasady funkcjonowania nowych, innowacyjnych systemów transportu miejskiego. Celem pracy było poznanie poprzez ankietyzację opinii mieszkańców na temat istniejących i możliwych do wprowadzenia systemów miejskiego transportu indywidualnego w Polsce na tle rozwiązań światowych. W pracy zaprezentowano wyniki analizy statystycznej ankiety i sformułowano wnioski podsumowujące.
In this paper innovative urban individual transport systems have been discussed. The results of the survey conducted on a group of 250 people, of which the largest part were residents of the city in the youngest age group 18-24 shows that knowledge about modern forms of transport and the possible willingness to use them, is not at a high level. The reason is the attachment of society to material goods and lack of awareness about the benefits that the user gains, but also the inhabitants in the aspect of improving the quality of life in the city. The future of transport belongs to systems that are focused on the lack of belonging and sharing economy. The concluded analysis proves that the systems functioning in the States are profitable and convenient for the residents, and the companies constantly develop their offer by expanding with modern solutions and facilities. In Poland, the change of residents habits regarding the forms of mobility will occur with the increase of popularity of modern systems, and this can be obtained by emphasizing the promotion in means of transport, at bus stops, and in the media. Forecasts indicate a steadily growing market value of innovative urban transport systems, which will improve the standard of living in crowded cities.
