Przeprowadzona analiza zapisów ustawy wskazuje potrzebę wielu zmian, które zdaniem autorów doprowadzą do wzmocnienia systemu finansowania eksportu w Polsce. Zmiany te dotyczą katalogu produktów oraz ich dostępności, a ich szybkie przeprowadzenie zdaniem autorów przełoży się większe wykorzystanie instrumentów wsparcia eksportu. Celem artykułu jest wykazanie, dlaczego dla rozbudzenia szerszego zainteresowania rynku oficjalnym wsparciem eksportu konieczna jest gruntowna nowelizacja tej Ustawy oraz przedstawienie propozycji zmian regulacji, które doprowadzą do wzmocnienia systemu wsparcia eksportu w Polsce. ubezpieczenia eksportowe, finansowanie eksportu, kredyty eksportowe, ryzyko kredytowe

This paper discusses the causes of speculative bubbles. For a better understanding of this phenomenon, it presents some famous speculative bubbles in the history of economics, it is enough to mention the South Sea Bubble and the Dot-com Bubble. As an economic starting point for analysis, this paper applies George Soros’s reflexivity theory. His Boom-Bust Model is supplemented by a description of psychological aspects of speculative bubbles.

The aim of this article is to present the activities of the State Sanitary Inspection in the scope of health promotion. The organization, tasks and the field of the activities of the State Sanitary Inspection bodies are set out in the Act on State Sanitary Inspection of 14th March 1985. The State Sanitary Inspection is on assignment to carries out public health policy. The organizational units of this institution pursue the public health tasks taking preventive and current sanitary supervision, conducting preventive and anti-epidemiological activity with respect to infections diseases as well as conducting the educational and healthy activity. The issues concerning the health promotion play a crucial role in the educational and healthy activity of this Inspection. The health promotion might be also undertaken by the State Sanitary Inspection in the field of e.g. current or preventive sanitary supervision. However, in this sphere the health promotion has only an additional and supporting character. Within the educational and healthy activity, the State Sanitary Inspection promotes health by using non-imperious legal forms of public administration activity80. The division of non-imperious legal forms into: bilateral and unilateral one’s which was presented in a doctrine by T. Kuta has application in the activity of the State Sanitary Inspection relating to issues of the health promotion. The bilateral non-imperious forms are connected with collaboration among the State Sanitary Inspection and public and non-public entities. This collaboration is usually carried out as a nationwide or local long-term programmes or actions. However, the unilateral non-imperious forms of the State Sanitary Inspection are completed in the form of appeals and manifestos aimed at the single-reaction (e.g. social or media campaigns).

In Opole Silesia there live a combination of people describing themselves as Poles, Germans and Silesians. Young people there have to deal with that mix, being influenced by such forces as globalization. The purpose of this research was to discover how youth feel and understand their nationality and what stereotypes they share. The analysis consisted of several tasks. Students had to describe themselves by national and ethnic categories. They were asked how they felt about Germans and which stereotypes they found to be true or false. The paper includes analysis from earlier research on this topic.

The subject of the article is the reconstruction of the blue-green infrastructure of Copenhagen in the context of adaptation to climate change. The research was carried out on the basis of the analysis of strategic and planning documents, a study visit and field research. The aim of the work is to identify the essential strategies, plans and implementation activities that have been undertaken in Copenhagen in the public spaces of heavily built-up areas.

Purpose: The purpose of the paper is to illustrate the broad cultural context affecting the economy and the consequences of economic development in the natural environment and social development. Design/methodology/approach: The method chosen was the analysis of literature on the subject in Polish, English and Chinese language. Findings: The article presents the ancient Chinese point of view on the idea of harmony between a human being and the nature, as well as the reasons behind the origin of the People’s Republic of China’s direction towards sustainable development. It is influenced by both the imbalance between economic growth and environmental degradation, as well as social challenges. Originality/value: The paper shows and explains the main problems faced by the economic development, as well as the roots of socio-economic behavior on a cultural basis.

Zważywszy na silną pozycję prezydenta w amerykańskim systemie ustrojowym, kwestia ciągłości władzy jest kluczowa dla stabilności i bezpieczeństwa nie tylko Stanów Zjednoczonych, lecz także globalnego porządku. Jednym z przepisów regulujących sukcesję głowy państwa jest 25. poprawka Konstytucji, regulująca w sekcji trzeciej i czwartej sytuację, w której prezydent nie jest zdolny do pełnienia swoich obowiązków. Choć sekcja czwarta nie została dotychczas użyta, to głosy dotyczące jej wykorzystania towarzyszyły prezydenturze Donalda Trumpa przez niemalże całą kadencję. Autorka stawia tezę, iż 25. poprawka, szczególnie jej czwarta sekcja, nie została stworzona jako narzędzie usunięcia prezydenta z urzędu i nie może być traktowana jako alternatywa dla procedury impeachmentu, jak miało to miejsce w przypadku prezydentury Donalda Trumpa, szczególnie po ataku na Kapitol w styczniu 2021 r. W artykule zaprezentowano okoliczności wprowadzenia poprawki, analizie poddano jej treść ze szczególnym zwróceniem uwagi na sekcję czwartą oraz zaprezentowano argumenty za oraz przeciw wykorzystaniu poprawki w celu usunięciu 45. prezydenta. Artykuł łączy w sobie rozważania teoretyczne (analiza Konstytucji Stanów Zjednoczonych oraz aktów regulujących kwestię sukcesji w prawie amerykańskim) wraz ze studium przypadku prezydentury Donalda Trumpa.
Given the strong position of the President in the American political system, the issue of continuity of power is crucial for stability and safety not only of The United States but also of the global order. Among provisions regulating the president’s succession, there is the twenty-fifth amendment, in which sections three and fourth regulate the situation in which the president is unable to fulfill his duties. Although section four has never been used, voices supporting the launching of the procedure did accompany Donald Trump’s presidency from the beginning. The author puts forth a thesis that the 25th amendment was not designed as an instrument for the president’s removal and cannot be perceived as an alternative for impeachment procedure. The article presents circumstances surrounding the amendment’s introduction, analyzes its content with special attention given to section four and presents arguments for and against using the amendment to remove Donald Trump. Presented research combines theoretical considerations (analysis of the US Constitution and provisions regulating the issue of presidential succession) with a case study (Donald Trump’s presidency).

In the wake of Poland’s access to the European Union there emerged multiple new opportunities associated with obtaining additional funds for planned or inaugurated investments. Voivodeship offices and selfgovernment authorities are paying more attention to the tourist potential of their terrains and embarking upon attempts at exploiting them in regional promotion campaigns. One of the methods applied for popularising a given region has been the delineation of socalled thematic routes. An excellent example of this approach is the Wooden Architecture Trail presenting assorted unique examples of timber construction. The trail runs across three voivodeships: Little Poland, Sub-Carpathian and Silesian, where in 2001 the local marshal’s offices undertook the realisation of the joint project. Special emphasis is due to the fact that despite the completed establishment of the Trail, initiatives intent on its constant promotion are continued. It is precisely for this purpose that the Marshal’s Office of the Voivodeship of Little Poland has issued a CD record containing detailed information about the routes and objects comprising this particular fragment of the Trail.

The CD entitled “Monuments of Wooden Architecture in the Voivodeship in Podlasie” is a combination of newest visual techniques and concrete knowledge, supplemented with photographs of architectural objects and ethnic music. The authors of the texts and photographs are the staff members of the Regional Center for the Study and Documentation of Historical Monuments in Białystok. The prime topic of “Wooden Architecture in Szydłów”, a study by Edward Traczyński transferred onto a CD, is the traditional architecture of Szydłów and, in particular, residential and farm buildings. The supplementary photographs from the 1970s and contemporary, make it possible to compare changes in the state of the preservation of local wooden architecture.

Opis:
Purpose: This study aims to map the development of research on ecological civilization with Chinese characteristics using the VOSviewer bibliometric analysis covering texts published until January 2023. The aim of the article is also to find elements of the economic sciences within the framework of the researched issues. Design/methodology/approach: The article includes a review of the most popular scientific bibliographic databases of scientific texts, namely Web of Science and Scopus, and a structured literature review of the texts. The bibliographic data has been processed in the VOSviewer program. Findings and Originality/value: Quantitative results were presented in the form of bibliometric maps, showing among others the relationship maps between watchwords and the existence of six clusters within WoS and five clusters within Scopus, as well as the presence of economic sciences in the studied area of ecological civilization and its Chinese characteristics. Social implications: The world’s environmental problems and the shared resolution regarding the implementation of seventeen Sustainable Development Goals Sustainable indicate the importance of the topic of sustainable development. China's economic development and its aspirations to become the world's leading civilization point to the need to consider the pursuit of sustainability and civilization together.

The subject of the article is the blue infrastructure analyzed in the context of actions taken in connection with the need to adapt urban structures to climate change. This article presents a sample of the research limited to the rivers of London, excluding the River Thames. Based on the analysis of documents and literature on the subject as well as a case study, the study aims to identify and indicate the main directions of activities undertaken in the field of blue infrastructure, which serve the adaptation of rivers and riverside areas to climate change.

Małe miasta to jednostki osadnicze o bardzo zróżnicowanej genezie i charakterze. Należą do nich małe miasta satelitarne większych ośrodków miejskich, a także miasta monofunkcyjne – zarówno historyczne miasta rolnicze, stanowiące ośrodek centralny dla otaczających obszarów wiejskich, jak i miasta, których funkcjonowanie opiera się lub opierało na bazie jednego zakładu przemysłowego. Większość z nich dotykają podobne, degradujące zjawiska społeczno -gospodarcze. Rozwiązywanie problemów małych miast wymaga szczególnej uwagi, bardzo indywidualnego podejścia przy poszukiwaniu alternatywnych funkcji i możliwości rozwoju zachowujących ich specyfikę. Pytanie oprzyszłość małych miast jest niezwykle istotne – jest to pytanie o jakość życia połowy Polaków. A właśnie poprawa jakości wszystkich dziedzin życia małych społeczności jest nadrzędnym celem filozofii Cittaslow – sieci miast dobrego życia. W tym przypadku, peryferyjne położenie i nienadążanie za najnowszymi trendami w globalnej gospodarce, chociaż na pierwszy rzut oka wydają się być dużą wadą, przy właściwej strategii rozwoju, pełnym wykorzystaniu własnych zasobów, a także znacznym zaangażowaniu mieszkańców, mogą stanowić podstawę do wzmocnienia własnej tożsamości i cieszenia się tym, co niesie ze sobą „prowincja”.
The small cities are settlement units of a very diverse genesis and character. They include small satellite cities of large urban centres, as well as monofunctional cities - both historical and agricultural, forming a centre for the surrounding rural areas and also cities, whose operation is or was based on a single industrial plant. Most of them affect similar, degrading socio-economic phenomenon. Solving the problems of small towns requires special attention, very individual approach to the search for alternative functions and development opportunities retaining their specificity. Question about the future of small towns is extremely important - it is a question about the quality of life of half of the Polish people. And such improvement of the quality of all aspects of small communities life is an overarching goal of the Cittaslow philosophy. In this case, the peripheral location and falling behind the latest trends in the global economy, although at first glance seems to be a big disadvantage, with the right strategy development, full use of own resources, as well as significant involvement of residents, may lead to strengthening their identity and enjoying what the „province” brings.

The author, discussing the paradigm of sustainable development, refers it to the specificity of a small town. As a consequence, comparing distinctive factors influencing the development of a small town in a spirit of sustainable development, attempts to build a model of such a city, offering a tool for its controlling and monitoring in the form of a set of criteria. The article also attempts to answer two fundamental questions: first – what is the meaning of sustainable development, second – how the sustainable development of a small town differs from a broad sense of big city sustainable development?

Preserved – Saved? On the Cultural Landscape and Manners of Its Shaping is a collection of texts – the result of two conferences organised in July 2000 and September 2002 by the Borussia Cultural Community society. The leitmotif of both meetings was the cultural landscape as well as the possibilities of its shaping and protection, while the point of departure was the rural landscape and the region of Warmia and Mazuria. The authors include persons professionally associated with the protection of historical monuments and preservation, as well as the owners of historical objects. The book is divided into three parts, the first being Historia – Dziedzictwo – Zmiany (History – Legacy – Changes), bringing the reader closer to the cultural legacy of Warmia and Mazuria, not merely the historical aspects but also from the present-day perspective. The second part, entitled Współczesność – Projekty – Realizacje (Contemporaneity – Projects – Realisations), contains texts about the discussed issues on a local level as well as a wider, supraregional one. Finally, the part on Siedziby – Losy – Ludzie (Residences – History – People) describes the personal experiences of various people who decided to tame the alien element and begin a new life under an “old roof”. The merits of the books include its handy size, hard cover, and lavish illustrations. The publication is enhanced by biogrammes of authors, presented at the end. The only flaw is the absence of topographic references. Although the major part of the publication deals with Warmia and Mazuria, it also contains texts about Lithuania or Sweden. The book is addressed to the lovers of Warmia and Mazuria, historians of art, conservators and laymen.
