This article analyses advertising texts published in the Russian magazines for women and indi-cates the importance of the selection of appropriate graphics and lexical means (including word-for-mation). The aim of the analysis is to present the typology of linguistic means which are most commonly used in advertising texts, especially considering the contemporary of life in society. Cur-rently, we increasingly feel the lack of time and we are bombarded by new objects and concepts that appear at almost every step. The creators of advertising texts try to attract the attention of consumers in a variety of ways, so as to encourage them to buy goods. The big, if not the leading role is played by the language of advertising, which is reflected in the various forms of play on words as well as in the form of newly created words.

The article is about shaping of the national idea in the period of forming the new Byelorus- sian literature (XIX century). Mainly the role of folklore in this process is taken into consideration. Studying the literary legacy of the member of Filomaci and Filareci association Jan Czeczot there is analysis of Lithuanian contribution of the Byelorussian literature into Byelorussian renaissance (W. Konan). The most important book of the representative of Byelorussian trend Jan Barszczew- ski called Szlachcic Zawalnia albo Białoruś w opowiadaniach fantastycznych is examined.The contribution into the development of the Byelorussian national idea of Franciszk Bahuszewicz, the author of preface to Dudka białoruska manifesto of Byelorussian renaissance is emphasized. His composition becomes the impulse to the further development of Byelorussian literature and to the forming of the Byelorussian national idea.

The development of civilization and related transformation processes in society are affected the system of spiritual and moral values. As a result of intense and rapid changes in the end of the 20th – beginning of the 21st century connected with globalization, completely new values began to appear, those previously established ones were enriched and new spiritual and moral values were formed as a result of a combination of traditional and new values. In connection with the growing processes of globalization, the issue of spiritual and moral values that are being spread in the media today has become very topical, especially considering that it is the mass media that play a very significant role in the struggle to preserve national and cultural identity. Therefore, the essence of our analysis constitutes of issues relating to the values that the authors of Russian media texts are guided by, the frequency of their mentioning according to the context.

Celem artykułu jest określenie specyfiki oraz częstotliwości występowania środków leksykalnych w tym również środków stylistycznych, wykorzystywanych w nagłówkach artykułów takich czasopism jak „Домашний очаг” i „Psychologies”. Analizie poddano treść poszczególnych nagłówków zamieszczanych w czasopismach, ukazujących się w okresie od stycznia 2018 r. do sierpnia 2019 r. Analiza nagłówków zamieszczanych na stronach współczesnych czasopism dla kobiet pozwoliła przedstawić potencjał systemu leksykalnego, który daje szerokie możliwości oddziaływania na odbiorcę, także w ramach teorii gender, jako że pozwala określić jaki obraz współczesnej kobiety kształtują dane czasopisma. Co ciekawe, chociaż oba czasopisma wykorzystują te same środki wyrazu, których podstawą jest emocjonalność, to jednak wyłania się z nich zupełnie inny obraz kobiety, co potwierdzają liczne przykłady stanowiące podstawę materiału analitycznego.
The aim of the article is to define the specificity and frequency of occurrence of lexical means, including stylistic means, used in the headlines of articles of such magazines as “Domašnij očag” and “Psychologies”. The content of individual headlines in magazines, published in the period from January 2018 to August 2019, was analysed. The analysis of headlines published on the pages of contemporary women’s magazines allowed the presentation of the potential of the lexical system, which gives wide possibilities for influencing the recipient, also in terms of gender studies as it allows the definition of what image of a modern woman is created by the given magazines. What is interesting, although both magazines use the same means of expression based on emotionality, is the completely different image of a woman that emerges from them, which is confirmed by numerous examples which are the basis of the analytical material.

ЭТИМОЛОГИЧЕСКИЙ И СИНХРОНИЧЕСКИЙ ПОДХОДЫ К ЯВЛЕНИЮ ОМОНИМИИ В ПОЛЬСКОМ И РОССИЙСКОМ ЯЗЫКОЗНАНИИ Резюме В статье обсуждаются важнейшие сходства и различия в подходе к явлению омо-нимии в польском и русском языках, учитывая синхронический и этимологический подходы. Подвергаются анализу дефиниции понятия омоним в польских и русских словарях с целью указания важнейших особенностей. Особенно подчёркивается поворот в исследованиях данного явления, каким было возникновение омонимов в результате распада полисемии, что в свою очередь, связано с появлением в языкоз-нании новых понятий. Так как омонимия перестаёт восприниматься как случайность, предметом исследования являются уже не только слова разные по происхождению. Далее анализируются преимущества и недостатки каждого из подходов - этимоло-гического и синхронического, а также представляются первые попытки установления объективных критериев разграничения явлений полисемии и омонимии. На основе проведённых рассуждений, указываеются важнейшие моменты в развитиии явления омонимии и направления, по которым проводятся дальнейшие исследования. ETYMOLOGICAL VS SYNCHRONIC APPROACH OF HOMONYMY IN POLISH AND RUSSIAN LINGUISTICS Summary The subject of the article is based on differences and similarities which occur in both Polish and Russian languages according to homonymy. Under consideration there is taken synchronic and etymological approach. There are analyzed the defi nitions of the term ‘hom-onym’ in accordance to the dictionaries of both languages. Especially there is emphasized the revolutionary turn of the study of this subject as homonyms might appear in language not only by accident but as a result of disintegration of the polysemy. The article discusses also the fi rst attempts on the way to distinguish homonymy from polysemy. On the base of all these considerations, there are showed the most important moments in the evolution of this subject and directions of the further studies.

The main heroes of Wincenty Korotyński and Janka Łuczyna’s works were simple people, peasants - authors and bearers of main national elements. Just these people spoke Belorussian, they cultivated customs and rituals of their ancestors. They used folk-wisdom in their everyday life. W. Korotyński in Tomiło aspired to show mentality of working people, who also deserved for better lot. J. Łuczyna in Akwarelki myśliwskie z Polesia showed positive image of Byelorussian people of decline of XIX century, determined national features of their character. Delving in a simple man’s soul, his internal world, saying about his experience, feelings and troubles the poet showed social and national problems in his works. Both writers were close to realistic showing the reality, but they showed different faces of byelorussian peasant in their works of the middle and end of XIX century.

In this article the author draws attention to how phraseological competence affects the deve- lopment of intercultural competence. The study and description of fixed word combinations is quite long and has rich history. However, more recently, in grounds of phraseological studies, a concept of didactics of phraseolo- gy appeared. Collocations refer to culture ancient and modern customs, they derive from literature and religion, they also carry the information about the country and its communities, which makes them an ideal material for use in the development of intercultural competence in students of philology. Generally speaking, interculturalism is the understanding and tolerance of a foreign culture and a cross-cultural exchange. Contact with other languages and cultures enables the development of intercultural communi- cative competences.

The article compares descriptions of a linguistic unit Kashei the Immortal in entries in two linguocultural dictionaries. The choice of the analytical material is based on the fact that in the Russian collective consciousness Kashei the Immortal functions  as one of the most vivid examples of negative characters. The repelling appearance and personality of the character appear in songs, nursery rhymes and puzzles. Moreover, there stories about Kashei are passed from generation to generation. The comparison  of the entry Kashei the Immortal in linguocultural dictionaries aims at determining to what extent common knowledge about the analyzed linguistic unit is present in lexicographical publications.

W niniejszym artykule autorka koncentruje się na możliwościach wykorzystania serialu animowanego Masza i Niedźwiedź w nauczaniu języka rosyjskiego dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym i wczesnoszkolnym. Zwraca uwagę na bogactwo elementów kultury rosyjskiej zawartych w serialu i przekazywanych widzowi „przy okazji” narracji. Autorka dokonuje analizy stereotypów ulokowanych w animacji, szczególnie tych o treści poznawczej, tj. związanych z dniem powszednim Rosjan, ich zainteresowaniami, tradycjami, ubiorem. Publikacja niniejsza oparta jest na doświadczeniach autorki z realizacji własnego projektu pod hasłem: „Zrozumieć Maszę. Wesoło, kolorowo i ciekawie o języku i kulturze Rosji”. Zakłada on popularyzację języka i kultury rosyjskiej wśród dzieci oraz przygotowanie ich do uczestnictwa w dialogu międzykulturowym.
The paper focuses on the opportunities offered by a Russian animation series entitled Masha and the Bear when it comes to teaching Russian to kindergarten and early school-age children. The author believes that it is worth paying attention to the variety of cultural elements in the series and the way they are “accidentally” passed onto the recipient in the narrative. The author also analyses stereotypes employed in the animation, especially the cognitive ones, that is the ones related to everyday life of the Russians, their interests, traditions and clothing. The paper is based on the experience of the author, who carried out a project “Understanding Masha. Jolly, colourful and interesting presentation of the Russian culture and language.” The aim of the project was to promote the language and culture of Russia among children, as well as preparing them to participating in intercultural dialogue.

Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony jest analizie definicji leksykograficznej w rosyjskim słowniku ideograficznym Мир человека и человек в окружающем его мире (80 концептов, относящихся к духовной, ментальной и материальной сферам жизни человека). Opierając się na charakterystyce definicji kognitywnej autorka przeprowadza analizę przykładowych artykułów hasłowych i bada zastosowanie w nich ramy interpretacyjnej. Analizowane hasła zestawiane są z reakcjami na konkretne słowa-bodźce z rosyjskiego słownika asocjacyjnego Русский ассоциативный словарь. От стимула к реакции. Autorka zwraca uwagę na to jak rama interpretacyjna porządkuje i organizuje wiedzę na temat danej jednostki językowej, a tym samym o pewnym fragmencie otaczającego świata.
Настоящая статья это анализ лексикографической дефиниции в русcком идеографическом словаре Мир человека и человек в окружающем его мире (80 концептов, относящихся к духовной, ментальной и материальной сферам жизни человека). Опираясь на когнитивную дефиницию, в статье проводится анализ словарных статей и исследуется применение в них фрейма-сценария.  Проанализированные статьи автор сравнивает с реакциями на конкретные слова-стимулы из Русского ассоциативного словаря. От стимула к реакции, и обращает внимание на то, как фрейм-сценарий организует знания о данной языковой единице, и следовательно, об определенном фрагменте мира.
The paper is focused on analyzing a lexicographic definition in the Russian ideographic dictionary The world of man and the man in the surrounding world. Having in mind characteristics of a cognitive definition, the author undertakes an analysis of selected entries and investigates applying interpretative frames in the presented dictionary. The analyzed entries are juxtaposed with reactions to particular words-stimuli from the Russian Dictionary of Associations, and it is compared how an interpretative frame introduces order and organization into the knowledge on a given linguistic unit, that is the knowledge on a given fragment of the world surrounding the Russian people.

The paper analyses the image of woman in the interpretative frame of Russian paremias. The author asks a number of questions: What role does the woman play in society and family? How is she treated by her husband? How do they treat their children? Who is the woman juxtaposed with? Who is she compared to? Answering these questions the author tries to reconstruct the image of woman functioning in the Russian awareness. This is the image passed from generation to generation in proverbs and sayings, which are the products of language, culture and awareness.

In the below article the whole attention was directed on an image of the woman coded in Russian language, precisely in proverbs. As a basis material of the article were chosen mainly the proverbs due to their repeatability, stereotype which is strengthened in the language. The subject of the article’s analysis is the linguistic image of woman in the Russian proverbs, which is composed of the two stereotypes: negative and positive. In the article the attention was paid to the synonyms of the word „woman”, which appear in the proverbs and have different emotional tinge and valuate world of women.
