Opis:
Difficult situations are unavoidable in every human's life. They may challenge a person to cope with them in order to overcome the obstacles. The search for personal resources that help one successfully deal with life's challenges has become, in recent years, one of the main issues for both psychology and pedagogy. Resiliency, understood as a personality trait is a subjective quality, which helps one to develop flexible and positive adaptation to difficult situations and to overcome them. The article aims to present the importance of resiliency and the possibilities for raising humans capable of coping with life's obstacles and everyday difficulties.

Opis:
The cause of problems associated with overweight is often lack of persistence, ineffectiveness in the diet maintaining and uncontrollable overeating. Loss of excessive body weight is not easy goal to reach. The same feature refers to as well as implementation of all activities, which effects are delayed in time. Undertaking an activity that will have to be maintained for a longer time requires not only initiation step, but also perseverance, which supports the achievement of the goal. Beside perseverance the mental simulations of the result and process are important too. The aim of the research was analysis of correlations between the type of mental simulations and the normal body mass or overweight in study group.

Opis:
The article aims to present the importance of education focused on the human subjectivity. The idea of subjectivity is inextricably connected to the concept of human seen as a person, as found in the field of humanist psychology. Human as a subject is an active and decision-making initiator of actions, someone who occupies the surrounding reality, someone who takes on social roles, and someone who undertakes tasks. Slow in education focuses not on the pace of learning, but on the enjoyment of learning and the spontaneity found at the root of the participation in the learning process. Slow helps to practice contemplation, internal balance, dialogue, empathy, and intellectual openness.

Opis:
The use of Cannabis sativa in human history dates back thousands of years, with various historical and cultural applications. However, at the beginning of the 20th century, many countries enacted regulations to criminalize and restrict the use of cannabis, leading to a significant reduction in research on its medical applications. A novel approach to pain studies involves Danio rerio-based nociception models. These models use different methods to induce pain, with fish larvae often subjected to incubation in acetic acid solution, resulting in epidermal tissue damage. Nociceptive responses are then observed by tracking fish movement. Our research aimed to develop a simple and accessible Danio rerio (zebrafish) model of nociception to study the potential analgesic properties of CBD (cannabidiol) and CBG (cannabigerol) in comparison to the commonly known painkiller ibuprofen. This research seeks to contribute to our understanding of the potential therapeutic applications of cannabinoids in pain management.
