    Od połowy lat osiemdziesiątych nastąpił rozwój metod, które bazują na nowym sposobie tworzenia rozwiązań niezdominowanych. Prowadzą one do wyznaczenia frontu ocen Pareto naśladując mechanizmy wytworzone w świecie mikro- i makro- przyrody. Aktualnie do istniejących metod optymalizacji zaliczyć możemy: algorytmy genetyczne, ewolucyjne, algorytmy stosujące sztuczne systemy immunologiczne, algorytmy rojowe oraz mrówkowe. W artykule zaprezentowano kilka wybranych metod optymalizacji ewolucyjnej, w tym algorytm ewolucyjny, mrówkowy, rojowy oraz NSGA. Ponadto opisano sposób działania poszczególnych algorytmów oraz ich przykładowe zastosowanie.
    Since the mid-eighties we can see the development of methods that are based on a new method of creating dominated solutions. They lead to designate the ratings Pareto front mimicking the mechanisms created in the world of micro and macro-nature. Currently, the existing optimization methods can include: genetic algorithms, evolutionary algorithms using artificial immune systems, swarm and formic algorithms. The article presents few selected evolutionary optimization methods, including evolutionary algorithm, formic and swarm algorithms, and NSGA. The article also describes how the different algorithms work and their exemplary application.

    Opis:
    This paper proposes a system of advisory for parents looking for a language school for their child. It describes and discusses examples of tools to search for a language school and takes an account of methods of teaching a foreign language, and age of the child, who is to attend the classes. The article briefly characterizes each method of teaching foreign languages as well as describes the concept of an expert system, briefly describes the main features in above systems. The expert system can greatly facilitate and improve decision made by parents due to the “big expert knowledge” which takes into account child’s individual personality traits and their language potential.

    Energetyka wiatrowa w Polsce zaczęła się rozwijać na początku lat 90 XX wieku, jednak jej dynamiczny wzrost można zaobserwować w kolejnych latach. Pod koniec 2014 roku łączna moc zainstalowana w farmach wiatrowych w Polsce wynosiła ok. 3 800 MW i nadal rośnie. Budowa oraz instalacja farm wiatrowych o dużych mocach niesie za sobą szereg problemów związanych z kompensacją linii kablowych 110 kV, wyprowadzających moc z farmy wiatrowej o znacznych długościach oraz właściwym doborem urządzeń kompensacyjnych. W artykule opisano zagadnienia związane regulacją mocy biernej w farmach wiatrowych oraz dokonano analizy poszczególnych urządzeń kompensacyjnych wykorzystywanych w energetyce wiatrowej.
    Wind energy in Poland began to develop in the early 90s of the twentieth century, but its dynamic growth can be observed in subsequent years. At the end of 2014, the total installed capacity in wind farms in Poland amounted to 3 800 MW and continues to grow. The construction and installation of wind farms with high power brings with it a number of problems related to the compensation of the 110 kV cable lines of considerable length and the right type of compensation equipment. The article describes issues related to regulation of reactive power in wind farms and an analysis of individual compensation equipment used in wind energy.

    Currently, wind power is a leader in the renewable energy sector. One of the many advantages of the development of renewable energy sources is small harm to the environment. Nevertheless, in order to install a wind farm we must overcome a number of obstacles associated with it. One of the many stages of the construction of wind turbines is designing its proper location. It is a very complex process, in which a number of criteria must be analysed, often hardly comparable with each other and even contradictory. The paper presents the concept of selecting a wind farm location using multicriteria optimisation methods.

    At the beginning we would like to provide a short description of the new theory of learning in the digital age called connectivism. It is the integration of principles explored by the following theories: chaos, network, complexity and self-organization. Next, we describe in short new visual solutions for the teaching of writing so called multimodal literacy 5–11. We define and describe the following notions: multimodal text and original theory so called NOS (non-optimum systems methodology) as a basis for new methods of visual solutions at the classes and audiovisual texts applications. Especially, we would like to emphasize the tremendous usefulness of evolutionary algorithms VEGA and NSGA as tools for optimal planning of multimodal composition in teaching texts. Finally, we give some examples of didactic texts for classrooms, which provide a deep insight into learning skills and tasks needed in the Internet age.

    The widely known limitations to the further development of wind power (Act [1], modest auctioning) have made photovoltaic plants very popular in quantitative terms, micro-scale units as well as systems with several hundred kW capacity or more. Unexpectedly for investors, in addition to various technical and economic problems, the charges for reactive power flow from PV sources to the grid have become an issue. The financial implications of this seemingly small scale flow can be severe for PV investors because of restrictive distribution tariffs. This paper analyses this problem from the prosumer micro-plant perspective. Potential financial burdens arising from PV system characteristics have been analysed, and the technical rationale of the tariffs has been assessed and then questioned. There are also proposals to change the policies of the operator with regard to the issue of reactive power generation by distributed sources.
    Powszechnie znane ograniczenia dalszego rozwoju energetyki wiatrowej (ustawa [1], skromny wymiar aukcji) spowodowały, że obecnie w sensie ilościowym bardzo rozpowszechnione stają się instalacje fotowoltaiczne, zarówno w skali mikro, jak też w odniesieniu do mocy kilkuset kilowatów i większych. Nieoczekiwanie dla inwestorów, oprócz różnych problemów technicznych i ekonomicznych, pojawił się problem opłat za przepływ mocy biernej od źródeł PV do sieci. Finansowe konsekwencje tego pozornie niewielkiego przepływu mogą być dla inwestorów PV dotkliwe ze względu na restrykcyjne zapisy taryf dystrybucyjnych. W artykule poddano analizie ten problem z punktu widzenia mikroinstalacji prosumenckich. Przeanalizowane zostały potencjalne obciążenia finansowe wynikające z właściwości układów PV, równocześnie oceniono techniczne uzasadnienie zapisów taryfowych, poddając je w wątpliwość. Przedstawione zostały również wnioski w zakresie zmiany podejścia operatorów do kwestii generacji mocy biernej przez źródła rozproszone.

    To provide necessary quality of electric energy and reliable supply and reduce environmental contamination as a result of energy units operation, renewable sources of energy (RSE), in particular solar electric stations (SES), wind electric stations (WES) and small hydropower stations (SHES) are intensively developed. The paper considers the conditions of optimality of renewable sources of energy (RSE) functioning in electric systems, controllability of which is limited by the impact of non-stable weather conditions. The influence of control system information support on the efficiency of RSE usage is shown.

    Method of operation quality evaluation of electric network, comprising renewable sources of energy (RSE) is considered. Integral index that enables to evaluate the impact of RSE on energy losses and its quality as well as balance reliability in electric network is suggested. Mathematical model is constructed, taking into account the assumption that electric network with RSE may be in various operation modes, characterized by different technical economic indices. To determine the integral index of operation quality of electric network with RSE in all possible states tools of Markov processes theory and criterial method are used.
